    The lounge is excellent.

    This trip was mainly to enjoy the lounge, and I liked the nice atmosphere. Except for juice and similar drinks, it was great that beverages were not self-serve—you could order and have them brought to you. There weren’t many snacks, but I really enjoyed the local Himeji craft beer and draft beer. It wasn’t enough for dinner, but when we thought about going out for something light, many places were closed by 8:00 p.m., so we gave up and ate rice balls in the Room instead. We chose a Room with a bathroom that has a washing area, so we could relax. I would have liked tissue paper at the sink and something like bath salts among the amenities. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and items like the hamburgers were delicious. The desserts and fruit felt lacking, so I thought it would be better to reduce other items and put more effort into those. Since the lounge can be used again the next day, after sightseeing at Himeji Castle we were tired in the evening, so it was nice to relax there with some local craft beer again. I’d like to stay here again.

    The lounge was excel...

    The lounge was excellent. The surroundings were peaceful, and the views were beautiful. It would be perfect if there were an Onsen.

    Himeji Sightseeing

    Thank you for hosting us for two nights. The Room entrance was narrow and a bit difficult to get in and out of, but the inside was spacious, and we were able to relax in the bath. We also loved the lounge—the view was great, and it was nice that we could use it even after checkout. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, so we didn’t get tired of it even over two mornings. However, it was disappointing that there were only two elevators, which meant a long wait.

    A Satisfying Holiday

    I often travel solo, and when I look for a Hotel, I always choose a Room with a separate bath and toilet. This Room was even more satisfying than I expected, and on top of that, I was impressed by the service that let me use the lounge until the next evening. After enjoying my first walk around Himeji, I was able to truly relax. Thank you very much.

    Conveniently located near the station.

    It was conveniently close to the station, and the front desk area was spacious, so I didn’t have to wait. The Room was spacious, the shower water pressure was strong, and the heating worked well, making it very comfortable. However, perhaps because it is a bit old, I was inconvenienced by the lack of any power outlets near the bed.

    The room was dirty.

    The moment I entered, there was a strange smell in the Room. The Facility was old, and the interior was not clean. I thought it would be a good Hotel based on the name, but I was a bit shocked that on one day it cost 40,000 yen for No Meals Included.

    We had a very comfortable stay.

    This was my first trip to Himeji, and I chose this property because it’s conveniently located with easy access from both the castle and the station. I selected a Room with lounge access, and since it was a weekday, I was able to relax and enjoy it at a leisurely pace. The local Himeji craft beer was so delicious that I ended up having quite a lot! The staff were always smiling, polite, and attentive while keeping just the right amount of distance, which made the stay very comfortable. The Room was clean, and I was also happy to find a ReFa hair iron thoughtfully provided. Breakfast was delicious as well, and throughout my stay there were no negatives—both the environment and service were excellent, and I felt comfortable the entire time. If any of my friends are heading to Himeji, I’ll confidently recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful time!

    Used during my visit to Himeji.

    Stayed in a room on the 13th floor with a castle view. The breakfast was top-notch. The staff's service was excellent. However, the bathroom felt a bit outdated. Considering that some city accommodations now offer large public baths, it was slightly disappointing.

    The Hotel reflects the character of its people.

    This was my second stay with lounge access, and I was able to relax while enjoying the Osaka view from the lounge on the 31st floor. On the Nikko Premium Floor, I also enjoyed the refined room and its view, and spent a restful time. During cocktail time, a wide variety of food was served, and I was satisfied with both the quality and quantity. For breakfast, I chose Japanese cuisine made with fresh seasonal ingredients. It was especially well-balanced nutritionally, very appetizing, and extremely satisfying. The only disappointing thing was at the check-in counter on the 2nd floor: I was told check-in had not started yet while being addressed with their head down as if they were busy, and someone who arrived right after me was checked in. However, a staff member outside the counter kindly noticed what had happened and spoke to me politely, so I was able to check in without waiting. After that, the lounge staff’s kind and courteous service put me at ease, and I had an excellent stay through checkout.

    Highly satisfied!

    I made a reservation with access to the club lounge. I was thrilled with the very clean room offering a direct view of Himeji Castle. The room is predominantly white, giving it a fresh and clean feel. I was surprised that the lounge could be used until 8:00 PM the next day! Even after check-out, I received a special ticket and stopped by after sightseeing at Himeji Castle. Alcoholic beverages are also available. The breakfast was delicious, and I ended up eating too much! The hotel is conveniently located just steps from JR South Exit, and all the staff were kind, making my trip to Himeji very pleasant. Highly recommended Hotel!

    This was my first time staying here. I often use Hotel Nikko Osaka, and what they have in common is the sense of cleanliness in every aspect. The special floor at Hotel Nikko Osaka was renovated a few years ago, offering calm and comfortable Rooms, and it seems that Hotel Nikko Himeji was also renovated last year. I enjoyed a relaxing stay in its serene atmosphere. I frequently visit Himeji for work-related purposes, and although I used to stay at different Hotels, I am considering making Hotel Nikko Himeji my go-to choice from now on. Thank you in advance for your hospitality!

    I had a relaxing time.

    We arrived early and were able to check in, allowing us to head out for sightseeing sooner. The club lounge was so comfortable that we ended up staying longer than planned, but the staff were always smiling and provided excellent service. My husband and I talked about wanting to visit again. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful wedding anniversary!

    Beautiful Hotel

    The location is excellent, and the Room has been beautifully renovated with a spacious and comfortable bathroom. However, perhaps due to the age of the building, the central air conditioning system does not allow temperature adjustment in the Room. During the day, even in winter, sunlight caused the indoor temperature to rise to 28°C, which affected my health. The front desk kindly provided a circulator, which was very helpful.

    The craft beer in the club lounge is exceptionally delicious.

    The Room was very clean and well-equipped with amenities comparable to the Nikko Premium at Hotel Nikko Osaka, ensuring a comfortable stay. I enjoyed Himeji beer while admiring Himeji Castle from the club lounge. It was so delicious that I had it again before checking out. For breakfast, I appreciated the cart that was helpful during my previous visit. The side dishes were very tasty, but unfortunately, the white rice lacked sweetness and did not suit my taste.

    Himeji craft beer is delicious!

    I enjoyed using the lounge! The view of Himeji Castle was stunning, and I loved the local Himeji beer and cider—such a delightful experience! The One Harmony benefits included complimentary newspaper service. The bed with Airweave was very comfortable! Amenities included a shower, hairdryer, iron, and ReFa products. I also used the Panasonic steam iron. It was a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

    Stable and reliable

    Located on the quieter side opposite the bustling downtown area, offering a great location. The room size was just right, providing a comfortable stay. Both the room and staff service were consistently reliable, making it easy to complete the reservation with confidence. One minor downside was some red mold in the bathroom, noticeable near the toilet area. However, overall it was a pleasant experience. Thank you very much!

    The breakfast is delicious.

    I chose a plan with club lounge access. The room had a great view of Himeji Castle, and the amenities were excellent. The lounge was quiet since it was a weekday, and both the mini cakes and the prosciutto at night were very delicious. The breakfast the next day offered a wide variety of dishes, all of which were tasty; I regret not being able to try everything. I was happy to use the lounge even after check-out, and the staff's hospitality made my stay very comfortable. Being near the station, I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    Comfortable Stay

    This was my first stay for my granddaughters' music competition. I stayed with JAL, which was rebuilt by the late Mr. Inamori, and the staff's service was excellent, allowing me to have a comfortable stay. The club lounge provided a relaxing experience as well. Next time, I plan to use the Club Twin on the Himeji Castle side.

    We stayed for two nights from December 28 with Club Lounge access. At check-in, I noticed there was no guidance about the Club Lounge. After leaving our luggage in the Room and going to the lounge to take a break, we were told we could not enter with the Room card we had been given at check-in. After I provided our Room number and they confirmed our Reservation details, they explained that the front desk staff had issued the wrong type of card and brought a new one to the lounge. We also received an apology at checkout, so I have no particular complaint about the card mix-up. On the other hand, there were many instances where I found it hard to believe how some of the lounge staff behaved as Hotel employees. Every year at year-end, my wife and I look forward to relaxing at a Hotel and spending time in the Club Lounge as a way to unwind after a long year. However, this was unlike anything we have experienced at other Hotels. There was no notice on your website or elsewhere that guests would be asked to leave after one hour during busy times, and there was no explanation at check-in either. (Since our stay apparently wasn’t recognized as including lounge access, that may be understandable.) Still, it was very disappointing to be told this by a female lounge staff member as if it were obvious. I could see that they seemed overwhelmed due to how many guests were using the lounge, but it is unpleasant when drink orders are taken in an annoyed manner. It would be better to stop taking orders and switch to self-service so guests can use the lounge without feeling uncomfortable. Also, even when it wasn’t crowded, being told “Please place your order last” when ordering a drink left me feeling uneasy... I was there with my wife; her drink was still more than half full. When I asked politely, “Sorry, but may I order just one more drink until my wife finishes hers?” both the floor staff member and the person behind the counter looked at me as if thinking, “What is he talking about?” That really hurt. The front desk staff kindly explained how to use the “Delicious Himeji Trip Campaign,” which I truly appreciated. However, overall our experience using the lounge left us disappointed. We often stay at Nikko group Hotels, so I hope improvements will be made so future guests do not have an unpleasant experience.

    It was excellent.

    I stayed at the accommodation for my retirement trip. The front desk staff provided excellent service, and the meals at Restaurant Ginkgo were outstanding. The room was spacious enough and very clean. I will stay here again if I have another opportunity.

    The lounge was great!

    The room offers a view of Himeji Castle and the Shinkansen! The ReFa hair dryer and shower head were excellent, leaving my hair silky smooth! There are two chairs and a sofa, making it comfortable to enjoy the view of Himeji Castle. The Himeji Castle cider in the lounge was delicious! While the light snacks were limited as mentioned in reviews, the tea was delightful! All staff members had warm smiles. It's amazing to want to visit again and again! Breakfast was great too—the burger was tasty, and the toast was just the right size! Next time, I’ll rent a bicycle for sure! Can't wait to return!

    I always visit the club lounge whenever available, and this was my first time experiencing drinks being served upon order—it felt like a luxurious moment. As a beer lover, I thoroughly enjoyed the local Himeji craft beer. A big thank you to all the staff at the front desk and lounge for their exceptional hospitality.     Club Lounge

    I stayed in the newly established Club Room. The staff at the Club Lounge provided excellent service with constant smiles despite being very busy, which was highly appreciated. However, it was unfortunate that many female guests lingered with a pub-like atmosphere, making it less of an elegant experience.

    Convenient Hotel in Front of Himeji Station

    Conveniently located near Himeji Station, the Room and Club Lounge were excellent. However, the elevator was slow, and the soundproofing in the Room felt slightly weak. I purchased a cake at Serena on the 1st floor, but a middle-aged male staff member proceeded with payment without confirming whether I was a OneHarmony member. When it became clear that I was a member, he only said, "I'll just add Points," without applying any discount. Additionally, he did not ask about carry time (cooling packs). I was shocked to see such differences in service compared to other Hotel Nikko locations where these things are standard practice. Although it’s just about a mere 15% discount for a cake, this poor service left me feeling disappointed—this is my first unpleasant experience at Hotel Nikko. Such an unfortunate waste of what could have been an excellent stay...

    I visited at the beginning of November with my sister for a staycation. The Room was spacious, and the bathroom included a washing area. It was delightful to find that the shower, hairdryer, and curling iron were from ReFa, which is great for women. The pajamas were made of sturdy fabric and very comfortable to wear. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of drinks available. The best part was being able to use the lounge even after checkout. The staff's hospitality was excellent, making it a wonderful vacation experience.

    The space is relaxin...

    The space is relaxing, and the staff's hospitality is excellent. The room was impeccably clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast buffet offered an overwhelming variety of delicious options. I also enjoyed using the lounge on a high floor, where the exceptional drinks and meals provided a serene escape from everyday life. It was truly wonderful. I believe the access from Himeji Station is unbeatable.

    Great location and delicious breakfast.

    Conveniently located near the station. The staff's hospitality is up to the standards of the Nikko brand, leaving nothing to be desired. Although one staff member at the breakfast buffet burger station seemed upset while working, other staff were pleasant, and all dishes were delicious and satisfying. The renovated Room had a combined bath and toilet area with subpar facilities, and the Room felt a bit cramped.
