    We stayed in a Club ...

    We stayed in a Club Suite with breakfast included. We could see Himeji Castle from the Room until we went to sleep, and the spacious living area was very comfortable. Since the bathroom had a separate bathtub and shower room, we felt the Executive Room’s bathroom with a washing area would have been more convenient. After checking in to the Hotel after 3:00 PM, we enjoyed local craft beer and sparkling wine in the lounge. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious and nicely satisfied our appetite. Breakfast was also great—we ate plenty, including a beef burger, almond toast, and ice cream.

    I’m satisfied.

    The Room interior was simple and standard, but we had a great view of Himeji Castle, and it was nice that the hair dryer was a ReFa. The stay included lounge access, and it was especially great that we could use it again the next afternoon. The location is convenient, so we were able to leave our luggage at the Hotel and go out. Breakfast was very satisfying with plenty of options. It was a reasonably priced stay, so overall we were very satisfied with this Hotel.

    The renovated Room w...

    The renovated Room was very comfortable. I also used the new club lounge. In the lounge with a view of Himeji Castle, tea time included fruit and sandwiches, and I was able to enjoy delicious local craft beer as well. The atmosphere at night was also wonderful. Breakfast offered a satisfying selection, including dishes made with locally inspired ingredients and the specialty almond toast. What I especially appreciated was that the restaurant staff were not wearing disposable plastic gloves. Since COVID-19, many buffet-style restaurants have staff cooking and serving while wearing plastic gloves, but here both in the lounge and at breakfast, the staff worked without gloves, which I was happy to see. Because they worked with bare hands, they could notice stickiness and dirt directly and frequently wiped down tables and the buffet counter while also paying attention to keeping their hands clean by washing them whenever needed. It felt very pleasant. Thank you very much. I will definitely return again.

    Your First Visit to Himeji

    I stayed here in late July. I had to make a last-minute trip to Himeji, so I chose this hotel for its convenient access from both the castle and the station. I arrived late at night and was disappointed that I couldn’t use the lounge and other facilities. The breakfast, amenities, and staff service were all excellent. The hotel’s close proximity to the station and the luggage storage service after checkout were very helpful. Next time, I’d like to stay longer and relax. Thank you very much.

    Everything was disappointing.

    This Room was a complete disappointment in every respect, and my dissatisfaction was at its peak. The Facility in the Room is very old and dirty. The washbasin bowl was cracked/chipped in multiple places. The shower hose is also very old, with a tear near the base. The bathroom mirror has no anti-fog heater. The Room air conditioner has an old remote control and does not respond properly. The bedside radio, lighting switches, and other items are also outdated. Given this condition of the Facility, it is not worth the Accommodation cost at all. Even an average Business Hotel these days is cleaner, much cheaper, and more comfortable. I have stayed at this Hotel before and did not remember it being particularly old; I even had a clean impression, so I made a repeat Reservation this time—but this time the assigned Room was a major miss, and my dissatisfaction was very high.

    Just steps from the station, and the illuminated Himeji Castle was beautiful from the high-floor bar. I’d love to stay again.

    Celebratory Trip for Retirement

    This was my third stay. Perhaps due to the age of the building, the Room and bathroom facilities felt outdated. Also, although I don’t think there was a leak, about half of the bath mat was wet after filling the tub with hot water. It was replaced immediately, so there was no issue. Breakfast had been renewed and was very delicious. However, I felt the parking fee was higher than at other Hotels.

    This was my first time in Himeji to see an opera. I considered other options, but chose this Hotel because of the Nikko brand, a separate bath and toilet, on-site parking, and even a club floor. However, the parking lot fills up quickly (it’s near the station and there aren’t many spaces), which made me nervous as a guest traveling from far away. A male staff member at the parking entrance kindly secured the last available space for me, which was a huge help—thank you very much. It would be great if parking could be reserved when making a Reservation, though I understand it may be difficult to manage. I also appreciated that parking is free for club-floor guests. The Facility feels a bit dated in places, but the Room has been renovated for comfort and convenience, with no shortage of amenities. The ReFa shower and hair dryer were excellent. The toilet wasn’t just updated cosmetically—the fixtures and piping also seemed new, making it very easy to use. The pajamas were a comfortable two-piece set with a soft feel and relaxed fit. It was quiet at night and I slept very well. The lounge made me wonder if this price is really okay—the food and drinks were impressively plentiful. Not only alcohol but also a great selection of HARNEY & SONS teas; the cinnamon tea recommended by one of the hotel staff was so good that I bought some afterward. Overall, the service was pleasant throughout and I could truly relax. Breakfast offered an extensive variety of both Japanese- and Western-style dishes—so much that even with my big appetite I couldn’t try everything. Live-cooked egg dishes are common at Hotels, but this was my first time seeing burgers made to order right in front of me. The burger was delicious—and perfectly sized as well. And the Awaji Island milk was outstanding. With no time limits on parking or lounge access, I could visit Himeji Castle and shop in the arcade as well. This isn’t just convenient for guests—it also feels like support for local revitalization efforts. Breakfast included many locally inspired items, and even the vending machines next to reception carried products from local confectionery shops—another nice touch. I don’t often have reasons to come to Himeji, but I’d love to return for a relaxing staycation. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    We had a very comfortable stay. The view of Himeji Castle from the window was great!

    The Room felt a bit dated in places (the washbasin), but it was very clean and comfortable. We used the club lounge, and even though we stayed on a Saturday, it was relatively quiet, so we were able to relax and enjoy an elegant time. It’s amazing that you can use it until 8:00 PM even after checkout. The local Himeji craft beer in particular was excellent—highly recommended. We could see Himeji Castle both from the Room and from the lounge, which let us fully enjoy our time in Himeji. If we have the chance, we would like to stay at this Hotel again.

    This was my first time staying at this Hotel. In a word, it was outstanding. The service, the Room interior, the food, and access from the station— I was satisfied with everything. Breakfast in particular was delicious no matter what I ate! I stay at Hotels more than 40 nights a year, and I genuinely felt that way. And above all, the lounge service. I was surprised that alcohol was available in the lounge throughout all operating hours. Now I have one more Hotel I want to visit again. Thank you.

    The elevator is slow.

    The renovated Room was comfortable. There were plenty of charging outlets near the bed. The two elevators are slow. Since there is no floor indicator, they may feel even slower. I counted on several stays and waited about 3 minutes. They may be set to always return to the front desk floor. If cups were provided by the ice machine, it would be helpful so guests wouldn’t have to go back for an ice bucket. Alternatively, it would help if the in-Room information screen noted that guests should bring one with them.

    Premium Hospitality

    We stayed in a Club Queen room. The sofa and table layout and the color scheme were lovely, and when we opened the window we could see Himeji Castle in the distance and the JR station below. We enjoyed the illuminated castle at night and watching the Shinkansen coming and going. While the building is understandably older, it has been properly renovated. The club lounge was excellent. The café latte was made with steamed milk rather than from a machine, each sandwich was individually wrapped, and the local craft beer served in a Himeji Castle glass was delicious. The cocktail time selection was a bit limited, but every item we tried was very tasty. Breakfast was also outstanding. At many hotels, solo guests are often seated awkwardly, but here I was thoughtfully shown to a seat with only garden views. They also asked other guests whether they preferred a window seat or one closer to the food. There was a wide variety of dishes, each with its own thoughtful touches—items like burgers from the live kitchen, almond toast, roast beef, and more—and I left very satisfied with many dishes that made me want to come back just for breakfast. A groundbreaking service: being able to use the lounge even after checkout! After touring Himeji Castle and Koko-en Garden until my legs were exhausted, it was truly appreciated to be able to rest before heading home while enjoying another local craft beer. Above all, every staff member was wonderful. I visited the lounge three times, and no matter when I went, all staff were polished in their service and had warm smiles. The breakfast venue staff were also cheerful and attentive. Having such great staff is an invaluable asset for any Hotel. It made me want to return again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

    I left an item behin...

    I left an item behind in the Room refrigerator, and when I contacted the Hotel, they responded immediately. I stopped by the Hotel again to pick it up, and I was able to use the club lounge after check-out, which allowed me to relax. Breakfast featured many ingredients from Himeji, and everything was delicious. I would like to stay here again next time. Thank you very much.

    I slept well and enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

    I stayed on a breakfast-included Plan to visit family in Himeji. I had stayed here about 10 years ago, and I was looking forward to it after hearing it had been renovated. The front desk staff were pleasant as well. They kindly stored my luggage before check-in, which made it easy to take care of my errands—thank you. Walking down the hallway, I felt excited by the lovely décor and that special, hotel-only sense of being away from everyday life. In my Room, when I sat in the chair by the window, the window was set a bit high, so I could clearly see the sunset sky. Since it was on the 9th floor, when I stood up I could look down over the station and even see the Shinkansen. It may be especially fun for train lovers. The fabrics in the Room were clean and beautiful—mainly refreshing shades of blue and gray. The bed was a bit high and firm, but just right for me, and I slept comfortably. The coffee made with the capsule-style coffee machine using the provided mineral water was very delicious. I would be happy if the bath towels could be renewed as well (they had a slight odor). That said, it was an unexpected pleasure to feel soothed in my Room and truly refreshed. I usually have trouble falling asleep when pillows change, but this time I slept very well. Breakfast was a buffet on the first floor. The garden also felt more like a true landscaped garden with fuller trees, and the restaurant facing it had been renovated into a spacious, comfortable setting. There was an exciting selection of both Japanese and Western dishes. The mini wagyu burgers had plump patties with a rich beef aroma; the buns were slightly sweet, with lettuce and tomato inside—cute and delicious. I’d heard you can have roast beef in the morning too, so I was secretly looking forward to it; it wasn’t just tender but also wonderfully fragrant and tasty meat. The clam chowder was on the salty side, but it contained plenty of finely cut vegetables; it had great depth of flavor from broth/stock and tasted excellent as well. As someone who loves food too, I’d like to visit again someday.”

    We’ll be back.

    Although it’s the Club Floor, considering the lounge access hours, I think it offers excellent value for money. It’s close to Himeji Station, and we could even see Himeji Castle from the Club Lounge. All of the staff were very attentive, and everything felt thoroughly clean. This time I stayed with my elderly parents (three of us). Next time, I’d like to come back and relax with my husband. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    Enjoy a relaxing Hotel stay.

    We have stayed here several times before, and since it is a wonderful Hotel, we chose to return as a couple after quite some time. It is conveniently located near the station with easy access, and the lobby feels luxurious, just like a high-end Hotel. The Room was a club Room, spacious with large windows and a great view. The wide bed and the bathroom with a separate washing area were very comfortable to use, and having the toilet in a separate space was also convenient. We also enjoyed the newly opened club lounge; all of the staff greeted us with warm smiles, there was an excellent selection of drinks, and we were able to relax while enjoying sandwiches, cakes, and more. We had breakfast at Serena as well—there was a wide variety of options and everything was delicious. In particular, the roast beef was outstanding. Thanks to you, we were able to have another relaxing and enjoyable stay this time as well. We truly appreciate it, and would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.

    By chance, the front desk staff who assisted us the day before our Multiple Night Stay also helped us again, which gave us a strong sense of comfort and satisfaction and allowed us to end this trip in a fun, positive atmosphere. We have high expectations for the future.

    Impressed by the amenities

    We stayed with our children, and they were delighted to receive kids’ slippers, a toothbrush, and a body-washing sponge. The adult amenities all had a wonderful scent, and the ReFa hair dryer and hair iron left my hair shiny the next day. We would love to stay again.

    We were very satisfied with both the breakfast and the room. A wonderful Hotel where our family of three could relax comfortably.

    We stayed as a family of three in the “Executive Twin (two Heavenly Beds + one extra bed)” to accompany our child for a tournament. There are many Hotels around Himeji Station, so we hesitated, but choosing this one was absolutely the right decision. The Room has been renovated and feels very new and spotless, though you can still sense a bit of the building’s original classical character. That said, the bathroom is a sparkling clean separate type and truly comfortable. Even with three beds plus a table and two chairs, there was enough space to organize our luggage properly on the baggage rack area, so the three of us could stay efficiently and comfortably. The Heavenly Bed we had been looking forward to was incredibly comfortable, and we were surprised at how plush even the disposable slippers were—so much so that we wanted to take them home. Thanks to that, we were able to fully recover from travel fatigue. There is no large public bath, but since the in-room bath was so comfortable, it didn’t bother us at all. What stood out most was breakfast. We had heard it had a great reputation, but it exceeded our expectations—especially the hamburger, which is unusual for a Hotel breakfast and absolutely delicious. It was expected to be extremely crowded as it was the first day of Golden Week, but when we went at 6:30 a.m., there weren’t many guests yet and everything went very smoothly. That day, lounge seating outside the restaurant was also opened up as dining space, and we were deeply impressed by how smartly everything was operated without any stress from crowds. If you’re staying during busy periods, using an earlier time slot is highly recommended based on our experience. Given its location right by the station, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, making dinner choices part of the fun. We also visited Himeji Castle at night when it was illuminated—it was magical and beautiful—and it became an unforgettable evening that made this trip truly wonderful. When we visit Himeji again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

    We highly recommend the Club Lounge.

    I stayed in a twin Room on the club floor. The Room was modern and spotless, and having access to the club lounge was very convenient. I don’t drink alcohol, but there was a wide selection of teas and they were excellent. The breakfast buffet was also outstanding—especially the roast beef and the Japanese Black Wagyu burger. Considering the price, with the spacious Room, proximity to the station, great breakfast, and club lounge access, this Hotel offers excellent value and I highly recommend it. The staff were very kind as well, making it a comfortable stay.

    A comfortable Hotel near the station

    Although this is not about this Hotel, I have been dissatisfied recently with One Harmony due to unfavorable rule changes and being unable to access the website. It is also difficult to check what has changed. Since One Harmony rules differ by Hotel and are already hard to understand and inconvenient, it is troubling when I cannot even confirm them. Overall, this is a good Hotel and I would recommend it. Breakfast at other Nikko Hotels has also left a strong impression for being delicious. I have stayed at many Hotels, but even with the same buffet style, why does it taste so much better? The lounge was also good, as it did not overdo the service like some other Hotels.

    First time visiting!

    We chose Hotel Nikko Himeji for its convenient surroundings and excellent transportation access! The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. After relaxing in the club lounge, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at “Serena” on the 1st floor. We would love to stay again.

    A conveniently located Hotel near the station

    I stayed for one night the other day. The location is excellent and very convenient for going out, and the parking lot is spacious and easy to park in, which was a big help. If you stay near the station, the price of 1,500 yen is also appreciated. Both the front desk staff and the breakfast venue staff were very pleasant. I would like to stay again.

    Disappointed.

    Right after checking in, the toilet in the Room was leaking. We were moved to another Room, but the Hotel information on the TV didn’t work and couldn’t be viewed. The sink drained poorly, and there was hair left in the bathtub. There were only two power outlets as well. It was recommended by IKYU, but it was terrible. At checkout, the Hotel staff seemed apologetic, but I want them to improve their maintenance. This is the worst I’ve ever felt.

    Truly prestigious.

    The location was excellent, and above all, the breakfast was truly delicious and a feast for the eyes—I thoroughly enjoyed it! Himeji Castle and the city of Himeji were both wonderful, so I’d love to visit again.

    Breakfast was satisfying.

    I was happy that our Room had a view of Himeji Castle. The Room was clean, but I couldn’t help noticing an odor. I’m not sure whether it was from the previous guest or from the cleaning staff, but the lingering smell in the Room was unpleasant, so we asked to change Rooms. Breakfast was very delicious.

    A conveniently located Hotel right in front of the station.

    The location was convenient, right in front of the station. We booked a Plan with two meals included, and dinner was a buffet. There was a great variety, so we could enjoy many different dishes in small portions, and everything was delicious—we were very satisfied.
