    Spend an early Christmas

    A particularly tall Hotel, it was like a location straight out of a movie. The view from the ocean-view open-air bath was wonderful, and both dinner and breakfast were exquisite dishes that we don't usually have, which my wife and I enjoyed with smiles. We would like to create another opportunity to visit again. On the way back, there was the Otaru Aquarium, and it was nice to see the dolphin and penguin shows.

    The bath was very pleasant.

    The ocean view was great. The bath in the room was not an Onsen, but it was very pleasant. The building itself seemed old, so there was a lingering smell. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere, but I was surprised by the Ezo deer dish as it was my first time trying it. Since it is Hokkaido, it would have been nice to have fish dishes as an option without additional charges. It was disappointing that there was no explanation of the early drink discount plan. It was unfortunate that the cleaning of the windows in the large public bath and the dust accumulation on the fan were not up to standard. The room was stylish, but I think it would be better if the refrigerator was placed in a location that does not obstruct its opening and closing.

    Atmosphere of staying in a Western-style castle

    I love castles, so the atmosphere lifted my spirits, and on top of that, I was able to fully enjoy the high-quality onsen in both the guest room and the large public bath. The meals in the morning and evening are delicious, unique to Hokkaido. The heaviness of the furniture and furnishings creates a classic elegance, allowing you to experience a stay like no other along with the spectacular view.

    My first time in Ota...

    My first time in Otaru, and it was a wonderful hotel as per the reviews. The building might be old, but it is very well-maintained with a calm and lovely interior. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were extremely delicious. It was the first time I thought venison was delicious! Also, the bread that the chef sources from France was exquisite! Luckily, we were blessed with good weather and could see the sunrise, making it a happy stay. If I have the chance to visit Otaru again, I would like to come in a different season.

    Impressed by the spectacular view from the window.

    Since it is built on a hill, I expected a good view, but the actual scenery exceeded my expectations and was a breathtaking sight. Although the public bath lacks a bit of openness, the Room's bath was wonderful, and the staff were pleasant, making it a very satisfying experience.

    Commemorative Cake

    We stay every year for our anniversary. We also ordered a cake, but this year the fruit tart was burnt and the knife couldn't cut through it. The taste was very delicious, but that was disappointing.

    Two options...

    Unfortunately, there was a piece of toilet paper on the floor and an unfinished bottle left in the refrigerator from the previous guest, which was disappointing. However, I was deeply impressed by the private bath and meals. I would love to stay again.

    It is a lovely hotel with a classic style.

    This time, we stayed for one night with four people. There were many classical and lovely furnishings, including the Room, and we were comfortable and satisfied, including the bathroom in the Room. We requested a course meal, and the dishes, including appetizers, venison, and pot-au-feu, were delicious, but it seemed a bit small in quantity for the young person (one teenage male companion).

    I chose this hotel t...

    I chose this hotel to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday who came to visit from Kanto. They were very impressed with the view from the room, the onsen, the meals, and the service at that time, and I was glad I chose this place. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.     This was my third reservation at this hotel after a long time, and I was looking forward to staying with my two friends and my husband in two rooms for four people. We checked in early, but unfortunately, the air conditioning throughout the hotel was broken, so we couldn't relax before dinner. Without knowing the cause, we couldn't stay in such heat, so we asked to be accommodated at another hotel. By the time dinner was over, the air conditioning seemed to be fixed, but we couldn't cancel the other hotel, so we only used the dinner service and moved to the other hotel afterward. My friends were looking forward to it because I told them it was my favorite hotel. However, the meal was completely different from the image I had of Neuschloss's food. About ten years ago, the dishes were impressive, utilizing local ingredients, but this time, unfortunately, there was no such impression. It was disappointing to come all the way to such a remote place. I don't want to eat Greek-style dishes or anything like that. I expect delicious flavors using plenty of Hokkaido seafood and local vegetables. The chef's specialty bread was indeed delicious, but my friends left some of the main dishes. I truly regretted recommending it. I was reassured by the many reviews saying the food was delicious, but it was disappointing. Well, it was a short stay this time, but I hope the hotel maintains a higher quality, and I have given this rating with that hope in mind.

    A Relaxing Day

    The room and the air inside were clean. The private open-air bath in the room was spacious, and the water temperature was just right, even the next morning. The TV was large, and we could watch BS broadcasts and YouTube. I was very impressed with the pleasant phone manner of the female staff at the front desk. However, the meals were Western-style, which my wife is not fond of, so it would be nice if there were Japanese options. Also, the view of the sea from the room was fantastic.
