    There were issues with the check-in experience upon arrival.

    Upon arrival, four cars were stopped at the Hotel’s drop-off area. Two were unattended, and the other two remained parked while their drivers checked in. As a result, we could not use the drop-off zone and had to wait nearly 20 minutes before we could unload our luggage. We asked the front desk if they could have the parked cars moved or have staff manage the drop-off area, but were told, in effect, “They are guests with Reservations, so there is nothing we can do.” Our request did not seem to be understood, and the conversation went in circles. I understand they were guest vehicles, but I would have appreciated appropriate guidance and traffic control by the Hotel rather than allowing long-term occupation of the drop-off area. Also, because the parking lot directly beneath the Hotel was full, we were directed to the farthest partner parking facility. However, there was no partner discount; it was simply a flat-rate lot. Since there were closer lots at a similar price, it would have been better to provide guidance based on guest convenience rather than limiting recommendations to partner facilities. As for the room itself, the lighting was a typical residential ceiling light with no dimming function. It felt somewhat out of place for a Hotel room in terms of atmosphere and overall quality. On a positive note, breakfast exceeded expectations. There was a wide selection of items and good food quality, and I was satisfied with this aspect. While there were some positives such as breakfast, overall our stay left a strong sense of disappointment—especially regarding management of the drop-off area upon arrival and how our concerns were handled at reception. I hope improvements will be made; however, as things stand now, I do not feel inclined to return.

    Very clean.

    It was great that the Hotel is close to the station, and I could get from the Hotel to the station without getting wet, making shopping and dining very convenient! There’s also a convenience store nearby, so it was nice to be able to come and go even when I got a little hungry at night. The Room faced south with a panoramic view of Suruga Bay, which I really enjoyed. I’d definitely like to stay here again when I visit Shizuoka. Check-out was smooth too—just put the card in the box and leave. The breakfast buffet was delicious as well! One thing I noticed is that it’s better to take a full look around first before choosing what to get. The freshly cooked fried eggs were especially tasty! I definitely recommend adding breakfast.     I was satisfied with both the room and the service. I would like to stay here again next time.

    As this was my first visit, I chose this Hotel because it is close to Shizuoka Station. When I entered the Room, there was a small issue, so I contacted the front desk and they responded immediately. Thank you very much. Thanks to that, I was able to fully enjoy a comfortable Hotel stay. Amenities are available in the elevator hall; what is provided in the Room is more than enough, but it’s great that you can pick up extra items yourself if needed. The view from the elevator hall is also excellent, and I was told you can see Mt. Fuji on a clear day; unfortunately, the weather wasn’t good and I couldn’t see it this time. Even so, being able to take in a panoramic view of Shizuoka was a wonderful experience. I would like to stay here again when I visit Shizuoka next time.

    That’s not what we agreed.

    I often visit Shizuoka, but this was my first time staying here. I originally had a Reservation at another Hotel, but I needed to check in early, so I chose this Hotel because it stated a 2:00 PM check-in. However, when I arrived just before 2:00 PM, the Room had not been cleaned and I was told it would take about 30 minutes. That was very disappointing. I mentioned that the 2:00 PM check-in was the reason I made the Reservation, but they simply apologized and said it was due to peak season. If that were the case, they should have listed check-in as 3:00 PM—then I could have stayed with my original Hotel. The price was about double compared to my original Hotel, but in the end there was no benefit in switching. My overall impression is that it’s hard to accept paying for a service that should have been provided but wasn’t.

    Close to the station, almost directly connected—no worries even on rainy days. Quiet.

    Great location with convenient transportation, and I was able to visit the exhibition hall in the neighboring building. The 11:00 check-out time was also appreciated. I requested a smoking Room, and it was clean for a smoking Room.

    Oh, that’s disappointing.

    Has it been a few years since it changed from Odakyu? I had been staying here since it first opened in the Century era, and I stayed in almost every type of Room. This was my first stay since it became “Grand Hills,” and the change is drastic—simply put, it has become dirty. The Room lighting is now fluorescent, and the sofa is no longer like the one in the photos (those are from the Century era); it has been replaced with cheap vinyl like you’d find in an old love hotel. The carpet is covered in stains, there is trash in every corner of the Room, and the bathroom is full of mold. A slightly larger twin Room costs 20,000 yen, which is far too expensive. It used to be a slightly upscale Century property, but now it feels like a business hotel. There are still many restaurants left, but they’ll probably disappear soon—there are no customers. Truly disappointing.

    Nothing noteworthy a...

    Nothing noteworthy as usual, but the tall floor lamp by the Room window would not turn on. It was plugged into the outlet, and it did not light up using the switch at the top (ball chain). I looked for another switch and checked whether the bulb was loose, but I gave up.

    Just a short walk from the station.

    It was raining on the day of my stay, but the Hotel was so close that I could get there with hardly needing an umbrella, which was very convenient. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast.\nIt is close to the station for the Shinkansen, and I would like to stay here again next time. Thank you very much.

    Conveniently located near the station.

    The location is excellent. Amenities are placed in front of the elevator hall, and you can take what you need. The staff are polite, and the breakfast is delicious—be careful not to overeat. The Room is old, so some curtains are a bit stained and there are spots on the carpet, but it is cleaned well, and the bathtub is fairly spacious. Bottled water is also provided in the Room. I have stayed here many times, and the front desk staff are always courteous and pleasant.

    A Wonderful Stay in Shizuoka

    We chose this Hotel near Shizuoka Station for a mother-and-daughter trip with three women, as we also had other plans. The view from the Room was wonderful, and it was amazing to even see Mt. Fuji from inside the elevator. The tea bags provided were excellent—truly impressive and very Shizuoka. We ate out for dinner, but we were very satisfied with the breakfast buffet, which also included Shizuoka oden. The location felt calm, perhaps on the opposite side of the downtown area. However, there was only one skincare set prepared for the three of us, so we went to pick up more in the elevator hall. Based on our Reservation details, we would have appreciated having three sets prepared from the start. Other than that, we had a great stay and would like to use this Accommodation again when staying in Shizuoka City.

    Affordable, spacious, and in a prime location.

    Upon arrival, my Room had been upgraded, and I was able to stay in a corner Room. This layout at this price... I truly hope you will continue to run your business while valuing domestic guests, without being dominated by inbound tourism. Excellent location. Since I didn’t use any services beyond what was necessary, I rated them as average, but overall I’m extremely satisfied. Combined with the charm of Shizuoka’s wonderful town, I have a feeling I’ll be coming back often. I highly recommend this Hotel.

    Close to the station with reliable service. The Room was equipped with essentials like a kettle, tea bags, and water. However, the age of the Room is noticeable. The most inconvenient aspect was the parking lot.

    Despite not requesting a baby crib in advance, it was promptly arranged for us. Even with children and lots of luggage, the Room was spacious enough for a comfortable stay. The convenient location near the station made transportation very easy.

    Located just outside...

    Located just outside the south exit of Shizuoka Station, the location is excellent. The Room was clean and comfortable, except for the bathtub cleaning. Mount Fuji was visible from the window. The lobby area was spacious and had a great atmosphere. I would love to stay here again.

    Thank you very much. We were blessed with great weather, and the view of Mt. Fuji from the Room was amazing. The breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji directly in front of us from the hallway was indescribable! I'm glad we chose this Hotel. The breakfast was also very delicious!

    Room cleaning is unacceptable, and customer service is poor.

    I stayed at this accommodation last year and again this year, but the experience this time was completely unacceptable. I had to clean the bathtub and sink in the guest room myself before using them due to their poor condition. The drain of the bathtub was covered in black mold, and even the base of the handle on the side of the tub had black mold—absolutely appalling. The back of the faucet on the sink also had black mold, which I cleaned myself to make it usable. When making my reservation, I mistakenly selected a smoking room instead of non-smoking. Upon entering, I turned on the air purifier only to find that its maintenance light was on. Looking at its back panel revealed that a replacement filter—which should have been there—was missing entirely, while its fixed filter was clogged with dust. The glasses in the guest room were visibly dirty, and both mirrors and glass windows were smudged with grime, making it uncomfortable to stay in such an environment. Dust had accumulated heavily around both sides of the safe as well; even its instruction manual was placed upside down without any care or attention—it felt like they just didn’t care at all. When I brought these issues up with someone identified as a night manager who came to inspect them firsthand, their response consisted only of "Ahh... Ahh..." without offering any sincere apology whatsoever. Since it was a multiple-night stay, I requested cleaning during daytime hours but found no improvement or sense of accountability from staff afterward either. This is by far one of my worst experiences ever—I will never stay at this hotel again. Images attached for reference.

    The bathroom floor had a lot of long hair, which was surprising since everyone in our family has short hair. It felt like the cleaning wasn't thorough. We booked a triple room for three people, but two of us had queen-size beds while one person had an unusually small extra bed. At 167cm tall, their feet were almost hanging off the edge. The difference in comfort was too noticeable. Although the building's exterior looked fine, it turned out to be quite old inside. There wasn’t even a towel rack by the sink, which was inconvenient and puzzling. We had to hang towels on hangers far from the sink. The location is good, but considering the price, it didn’t meet expectations. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

    The Room is spacious with a wonderful view.

    Close to the station with a fantastic view, we stayed in a triple room. The room was spacious enough that even with three beds, it didn’t feel cramped, and our whole family was very satisfied. The facility felt slightly dated but caused no inconvenience, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable stay. I slept on an extra bed, which was very comfortable. However, there were some lint and dust on the small towel, so I used a larger one instead. Other than this issue with the towels, I was completely satisfied with everything about the hotel. Although we checked out early in the morning, it was very convenient as we only had to drop off our card key in the return box at the lobby. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Shizuoka City!

    I will definitely stay here again!

    This time, I chose the Hotel based on its proximity to the station, and it was a great decision. Not only is it conveniently close to the station, but the staff at the front desk were very accommodating. They kindly stored my luggage before check-in. The Room was clean with a great view, and amenities like welcome drinks were more than satisfactory. The breakfast was excellent as well. The dining area had spacious seating arrangements, and there was a wide variety of menu options! Although I checked out early this time, I would love to stay longer next time.

    A Hotel near the station, sheltered from sunlight and rain.

    I stayed at the accommodation for work on short notice. Although I had booked a single room, they kindly upgraded me to a twin room. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Checking in during the evening under the scorching sun was made easier thanks to the covered walkway, which would also be helpful on rainy days. On another day, we dined there for a family meeting before my daughter's wedding. The private dining room was very spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed a delicious creative Japanese course meal. To the southeast, you can see Nihondaira, and in winter, Mount Fuji offers stunning views. To the southwest are views of Abe River and Takakusayama. The location is south of the station with many cost-effective restaurants nearby offering great food options. My hometown is 50 minutes away by car, but I thoroughly enjoyed spending time in Shizuoka City at night as well! Thank you to the front desk staff for your kind guidance and suggestions!

    First-time Use

    This was my first time staying here, and everything was excellent – the service, the Room, and the overall experience. The staff provided polite service and clear explanations during check-in. The lobby and hallways were clean, and the Room was spotless. Personally, I am sensitive to smells in Hotels, especially from drains in wet areas, but there was no unpleasant odor at all – it was very comfortable. I didn’t notice any noise from neighboring Rooms or hallways either. I couldn’t find anything negative about my stay. This is a Hotel I would love to use again!

    Conveniently located near the station, and the twin room had large beds which were great. However, stains on the carpet that couldn't be removed by cleaning and dirt in the bathroom were noticeable, giving a sense of aging in the Facility.

    Neither good nor bad.

    The check-in waiting time is long. Receiving a numbered ticket avoids standing in line, but it doesn't feel very pleasant. The Room is fine. Breakfast could use a bit more variety, especially in terms of salads, which felt lacking. The bar was a good place. There are pros and cons, but it seems reasonable for this price.
