    Convenient Hotel Near the Station

    I was unsure about which Hotel to choose for my trip to Kanazawa after decades, but I’m glad I chose ANA CROWNE PLAZA. The location is very convenient, just steps away from the station. They allowed me to check in even before 3 PM. My Room was on the 18th floor with a great view. Although I thought it might be small, it was nice that the bath and toilet were separate. However, the bathroom drainage wasn’t great, and water seemed like it might leak out; I had to drain water with my foot while showering (laughs). Also, the toilet ventilation wasn’t good and there was a slight water leak—please consider improving these issues. The breakfast selection wasn’t extensive but they made rice balls on the spot and all the fruits were sweet and delicious. It would be nice if there were more chairs or sofas in the Hotel lobby so guests could rest without having to return to their Rooms—please consider this as well. Still, next time I visit Kanazawa, I’ll stay at ANA again! Thank you very much!

    Used during a business trip.

    Despite individual differences among hotel staff, I felt they strive to provide very pleasant service. Perhaps everyone shares the same commitment. Wonderful. This hotel always leaves a great impression with its comfort, making it one of my favorite accommodations. Please continue as you are. I will stay here again next time.

    Conveniently located near the station. The breakfast was very delicious and satisfying, especially the freshly made rice balls. I would like to use this service again. As for the Room, I chose a smaller guest room, so I rated it as average.

    The staff, especially the younger ones, greeted us with kind smiles, which was truly heartwarming. I felt very comfortable staying at this accommodation. I will definitely choose this place again if I visit Kanazawa in the future.

    After all, ANA

    Stayed on May 31st. I went to drop off my luggage, but I was able to check in at 12:00, which was very helpful. The pillows are comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. Every time, Hotels in Okayama didn't have water dispensers or decanters, but in Kanazawa, there was an announcement to fill and drink water yourself. It's convenient not having to carry heavy bottles from the convenience store. ANA's location is excellent as always—truly the best.

    Hotels that provide high-quality towels offer a pleasant experience. Our Hotel provides three types of towels, including washcloths, and they are highly rated. Hotels offering washcloths are rare, with examples like M Hotel in Kyoto. We also offer newspaper services, preserving the tradition of classic hotels from the past. However, the dim lighting is a drawback. With more hotels adopting brighter lighting these days, we hope for improvements during the next renovation.

    The meals are delicious.

    The breakfast is delicious, offering a great start to your day. It features an abundance of fresh local Kaga vegetables. The live onigiri service adds a unique touch. Dishes like mini oden and Hanton-style rice are also available, allowing guests to enjoy flavors they may not have tried before, even after multiple visits to Kanazawa.

    When traveling on weekdays, you may feel curious about the world's movements and market trends. In the past, newspapers were a standard service at hotels, but this has gradually disappeared. However, at our Hotel, we still offer newspaper services. Starting from your second night, we even provide the Nikkei newspaper. A unique service reminiscent of a classic luxury hotel. This alone makes choosing our Hotel worthwhile.

    I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but I was able to rest in the Room early as it was ready, which was very helpful. I chose this location because it is right next to the concert venue, and thanks to that, I could return during a 20-minute break to retrieve my forgotten binoculars. One concern was that the faucet was very stiff and difficult to use, and the toilet seemed quite outdated, which slightly lowered my mood. It would be great if these could be improved. The faucet being very stiff caused some trouble. When I inquired about it the next day, I learned there are Rooms with different types of faucets available.

    Old and unsatisfactory service

    I used this place for her birthday, but the toilet wouldn't stop running after flushing once. The repair person took a long time to fix it, replacing parts and moving the amenities on the toilet tank for repairs, but they left without putting them back. Considering the price paid, it was very disappointing. There was no apology from the front desk even at checkout.

    A wonderful Hotel with excellent transportation access

    I love the city of Kanazawa and visit about twice a year, always staying at ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel. Its proximity to Kanazawa Station makes it convenient for getting around, and the calm atmosphere of the Hotel helps me relax and unwind.

    Disappointing

    I was mistaken to assume it would be great because it's part of the ANA Group. The front desk staff gave inconsistent information. The room amenities only included a toothbrush. It was below the standard of a Business Hotel.

    A very standard city Hotel. The Room was labeled as premium, but it didn’t feel premium. The wooden parts felt cheap, and the refrigerator box door was misaligned and wouldn’t close completely. There were some careless aspects typical of international chains that diminished the premium feel. The staff at the front desk were pleasant, though. Despite the excellent location, I don’t think I would consider staying here again.

    It is a comfortable Hotel.

    I chose this hotel as it is the closest to Kanazawa Station for an overnight stay before heading to Awara Onsen the next day. I wanted a room with a bath that has a washing area, so I reserved a room on the premium floor this time. It was spacious for one person, very comfortable, and convenient. I would be happy if there were more rooms with baths that have washing areas outside of the premium floor as well. Since the room had ample space, a more luxurious couch sofa would have made it even more relaxing. Also, I would appreciate it if the bed width were a bit wider. The desk and chair were well-made, making it comfortable to write or use a tablet. As part of the sleep program, there were options to borrow pillows and aromatherapy of your choice. I was soothed by the scent of cedarwood, and the pillow was similar to what I usually use, allowing me to sleep very well. However, I was able to use this service because I had seen on the website beforehand that these were available, but there was no guidance from the hotel staff, making it difficult to understand how to use the service. I noticed it was mentioned in the pamphlet in the room, but I wandered around the room for a while wondering where the aromatherapy was. In consideration of the environment, the bath amenities were in fixed bottle types. Body lotion was also provided, which was nice during this dry season. I used it generously after bathing. There were no basic cosmetics in the room, but I could get single-use types by asking at the front desk. The highlight was the variety and deliciousness of the breakfast!! There was a wide range of Japanese and Western dishes centered around local ingredients and cuisine, and I was very indecisive about what to put on my plate. If I were a big eater, I could have eaten a lot! (laughs) There were plenty of accompaniments for bread like jams, and even homemade garlic butter. I was also happy to see soy milk available. I love omelets and was surprised when I ordered one and it came in a regular single-serving size! While I was happy to eat a lot, as someone who wants to try various things at a buffet, I would appreciate it if there were a half-size option. The staff who guided me from the front desk to the room was very kind. This person delivered the pillow and aromatherapy and even filled the water in the room's humidifier, which warmed my heart with their thoughtful service. Next time I visit Kanazawa, I definitely want to stay here with my husband.

    Winter Trip to Kanazawa in January

    I stayed from January 19th to 22nd. The staff kindly carried my luggage at the entrance and assisted with check-in. They also brought it to the room and explained everything about the room, which was very thoughtful and appreciated. The room was upgraded, so I could enjoy a spacious accommodation. The bathroom, bed area, desk, and other spaces were impeccably clean, making my stay very comfortable. Breakfast included Ishikawa vegetables and was delicious. I enjoyed fruits and soft drinks but missed having one thing—desserts after breakfast were not available, which was disappointing as I always look forward to hotel breakfasts with sweets. This lack of desserts is a minor negative point for me despite an otherwise pleasant experience in terms of service and accommodation quality. If I visit Kanazawa again, I will definitely stay here once more! It’s inspiring to see Kanazawa overcoming challenges like the Noto disaster with resilience. Thank you to all the staff for their hospitality!

    Unfortunately.

    Stayed for 2 nights in December with a single room and breakfast included. The location is close to the station, so I didn’t get wet in the rain, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind and accommodating, making my stay pleasant. However, there was an outdoor unit or vent-like structure directly below my Room. While I understand about the view being unavoidable, during rainy and windy nights, there were loud splashing noises at times that were quite disturbing. On the first night, I couldn’t figure out what it was and had trouble sleeping. Since it’s a single room not facing Tsuzumi-mon Gate side, that’s understandable; however, do staff know about such loud noises? If they are aware of this issue, perhaps offering these rooms at a lower price as “special condition” rooms might be better? It’s likely due to rain at night but this aspect was very disappointing.

    I think it is a great Hotel with a good location. The egg service for breakfast, such as omelets (I didn't use it because I had scrambled eggs), tends to have a line near the entrance, so I think some improvements are needed.

    Conveniently located underground at the station, and the food is delicious.

    A few minutes' walk from JR Kanazawa Station, the Room is clean and the service is good. Convenient for going anywhere. Breakfast has a wide variety, including omelets and eggs benedict made by the chef, making it fulfilling. The staff's response is also good.

    Conveniently located next to Kanazawa Station.

    We stayed for two nights for our wedding anniversary. The location is very convenient as we frequently used the bus in front of the station for sightseeing. The Facility and equipment are not new, but they are well-cleaned, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. The staff are generally kind. We only had breakfast, but it was delicious. Unfortunately, although the entire building is non-smoking, the hallway and guest room have an odor. It seemed to come from the air conditioner in the guest room, so we did not use it during our stay.

    I like it because it is conveniently located.

    I use this place when visiting Kanazawa because it's close to Kanazawa Station. The staff's hospitality is also good. I'm happy that the breakfast is delicious. I eat so much that I can't even have lunch. I will use it again!
