    The worst Hotel that is not worth the price at all.

    I can’t understand why I was charged 150,000 yen for a Hotel of this quality. It was a furious, shaking-with-anger 1-night, 2-day stay. At an Oedo Onsen Monogatari level—why is it 150,000 yen? On top of that, even the main sauna required an extra fee. I came mainly for the sauna (after watching “Sa-do”), but for some reason there were kids everywhere. Isn’t this supposed to be an adults-only space? The Room was shockingly small—smaller than a single bed. A half-tatami-sized bed was a first in my life. Everything is self-service? Even at Yukai Resort they wouldn’t charge 150,000 yen for a 1-night, 2-day stay. In my 50 years of life, this may have been one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve ever had. Honestly, I want my money back. Please rename it properly to “Oedo Onsen Monogatari.” Then everything would make sense. What on earth was the basis for setting it at 150,000 yen? If this was some kind of mistake, I demand an immediate refund.

    Annual Summer Vacation

    We have stayed here every year to visit Long Beach since our child was very young. We used the spa last month, so this time we enjoyed swimming and relaxing in the Onsen. Although it was crowded during peak season, being able to step out of the pool and go straight into the Onsen makes this an excellent Hotel. We plan to come again next year, but we would also like to visit in winter for the spa.

    A musty-smelling Room

    Before heading there, I asked the front desk about the Hotel shuttle bus that was available last year, but they said nothing at first and then bluntly replied, “Please use the public bus.” Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is at 10:00 a.m., which feels unusually restrictive these days. Front desk hours have also been reduced, which was inconvenient. As soon as I entered the Room, it smelled musty. Even with the air purifier on, it didn’t help. The water tank should have been refilled to full, but after a while a red light came on—maybe the water was old or low—so I turned it off because it felt unhygienic. I opened the window and ventilated for a while. At night after falling asleep, my hands and feet (the parts under the bedding) became extremely itchy, and in the morning I saw many marks that looked like mite bites. For dinner we chose a “Hawaiian buffet” that kids would enjoy, but everything was made with cheap ingredients and not worth the price at all. I probably won’t stay here again.

    We had a wonderful vacation.

    I found a great deal at the last minute and made a Reservation. I’ve stayed at this Hotel countless times, but this time my main purpose was to use the spa rather than the adjacent Long Beach. For an additional fee, I was able to enjoy the pool and sauna before check-in with hardly anyone else around, then moved on early to the Onsen and relaxed there as well. The showerheads had also been replaced with ReFa ones, which made me very satisfied overall, but unfortunately the installed hair dryers were from another brand. I heard that ReFa hair dryers were available in the men’s bath area, so I hope they will be updated going forward. The in-room hair dryer was a ReFa product. I’m extremely happy that I could relax this much during peak season. I’d love to stay again next summer as well.

    We stayed here with our children this time. We were very satisfied with everything, including the Facility, sauna, and restaurant. We will make another Reservation and look forward to staying again.

    Our family of three ...

    Our family of three stayed for one night and enjoyed the pool. It’s best to reserve a tent at the same time as your Accommodation Reservation, as they may sell out. I wished there had been a bit more guidance on that. There was also an indoor infinity pool where you can enjoy the sauna and stone spa, but I would like to see an age limit there. Alternatively, limiting the available hours could work. I think it should be kept as a quiet space for adults to relax. It was disappointing that it wasn’t clearly separated from the outdoor pool area. That said, overall Prince was wonderful, and we’re glad we chose to stay here. We’ll be back next summer. Thank you!

    Use Before the Peak Season

    This Hotel’s main attraction is Oiso Long Beach, but we stayed in June before it opened. We were traveling from Kansai to visit Sanrio Puroland, so we booked this Accommodation thinking a Hotel with a large public bath and a good breakfast would be fine. (Dinner was expensive, so we went to an izakaya called Rakuchi Rakuza about a 7-minute walk away. Their seafood—like assorted local fish sashimi—was their specialty, and it was decent and not bad.) ●Bath A simple setup with one indoor bath that can fit about 10 people without feeling crowded, plus an open-air bath of the same size. There are around 20 washing stations and no sauna. (The sauna was in the SPA for an additional fee of +2,000 yen, but we didn’t use it this time.) It was new and felt great. ●Room Since it’s a historic Hotel, I was worried about the plumbing areas, but everything was clean and there were no issues at all. ●Staff Both the front desk staff and the breakfast venue staff were very pleasant—truly professional. ●Breakfast For 3,800 yen per adult, I felt they could have tried just a bit harder. With Sagami Bay right in front of the Hotel, I expected more sashimi options, but there were only minced tuna, minced salmon, and minced sesame mackerel. That part was a little disappointing. At that level of breakfast quality, I’d say around 2,500 yen per person would feel appropriate. Overall though—including everything—I think it’s a solid “pretty good” Hotel that met my expectations in a positive way.

    I was satisfied.

    First, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. You’ll also be impressed by National Route 1 running parallel—this alone is worth it, and the decor is nice too.

    A Hotel I Definitely Want to Visit Again

    Lately, more and more Hotels and Ryokans seem to be staffed mostly by foreigners, and I had been feeling discouraged about it. I travel to spend time and money on an escape from everyday life, so it’s disappointing when I arrive and find foreign staff. But this place was different. Everyone at the front desk, in the restaurant, and on the cleaning team was Japanese. The overwhelming sense of comfort and the attentive service alone made me glad I came. Even if some of the Facility or building feels a bit old, that doesn’t bother me at all. I definitely want to come again. The spa and pool are also excellent, so I’d like to visit with relatives during summer vacation. Oiso Prince Hotel was amazing! Thank you very much!

    The staff are wonderful.

    The staff at the front desk, the futsal reception, and the buffet venue were all pleasant and welcoming, and it felt like a great Hotel. The views of Mt. Fuji and the ocean from the spa are wonderful. There is also an Onsen, so I was able to relax!

    Screen door

    The window screens were clogged with dust—so much that it would blow into the room when the windows were opened. This was the only disappointing part.

    This was my first stay, but I was able to relax and enjoy the spa and Onsen, which felt different from other hotels. I would like to stay again.

    An Extraordinary Experience

    We stayed here to celebrate our wedding and enjoy a different kind of experience, mainly for the infinity pool. We were happy to receive congratulatory words at the front desk. The infinity pool was a wonderful, extraordinary experience—watching the sun set behind Mt. Fuji and spending time poolside in the morning light. The Plan that included a sakura parfait was very cute and also delicious. As for the Room, as someone who loves Prince hotels, it felt more business-like than expected. It was a bit disappointing that there was no message card in the Room. I was also surprised that there were no amenities such as toner or lotion. Overall, it was a very good Plan.

    A spacious spa pool with ocean views

    In the refreshing early-summer breeze, we were able to relax while enjoying an ocean view from the pool. It was convenient and comfortable to use the spa in loungewear. The bed was very comfortable. It was disappointing that we could hear voices from outside while in the Room.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    I stayed here as a solo traveler. It combines the best aspects of a Hotel and a Ryokan, and I was very satisfied. The Onsen was great. I also enjoyed the takeout dinner. It would be helpful to have a makeup mirror in the Room—please consider it.

    The view from the infinity pool is breathtaking.

    Although it was still cold outside, the pool water was warm, and seeing Mt. Fuji was truly relaxing.

    海の近くで暮らしてみたい

    The spa is the best!

    We returned with our junior-high and high-school children and us as a couple in our 40s. We’ve been visiting occasionally since they were little, and this was our fourth stay. Before we knew it, they were old enough to use the spa, so after checking in we enjoyed the night spa and morning spa together as a family of four. Despite the three-day weekend, there were times when the spa wasn’t crowded, so we were able to relax a lot. In the evening, we went to a Chinese restaurant about a 5–6 minute walk from the Hotel. It’s easy to get to Oiso Station by bus, access from Tokyo is convenient, and it’s perfect for a weekend refresh.

    The lobby is clean and well-maintained.

    Opening the solid, impressive doors, you’ll find a beautiful, spacious front desk area with an open atrium that feels exciting. The ocean view visible through the front windows is also stunning. The Room has been renovated, so there was nothing in particular that bothered me, but the in-room sink is low, which may be a bit difficult for taller guests. The shower water pressure in the bathroom was weak, and I had a little trouble washing my hair. For me, breakfast had just the right number of items. If I have another chance to visit by car, I’d like to stay here again when I have errands nearby.

    A Pleasant Hotel

    I visited recently with three mom friends, hoping to relax and chat nearby. We had an extra bed added, so we expected the Room to feel cramped, but it was more spacious than we thought. We were able to sit back and talk on the sofa, and we were very satisfied. The ocean filled the window view and felt wonderful. The Onsen was spacious and clean, and the open-air bath was great too. However, first thing in the morning the open-air bath had a slight chlorine smell. The hair dryer and the shower head in the bath were ReFa, which was truly excellent—my friends rated that highly as well. Overall, the Hotel felt calm and unhurried, and I’d love to come back in summer with my grandchildren. This time we prioritized chatting so we didn’t use the spa, but next time I’d like to try things like a stone sauna. For dinner, since none of us could eat much, we went for Chinese food thinking we’d keep it light with à la carte dishes and drinks. There was a course for 5,500 yen that let us try small portions without having to share plates ourselves, so we chose that. Unfortunately everything—including dessert—was brought all at once on a single tray, so by the time we ate it both the soup and dishes had gone cold. That was disappointing. The food itself was delicious though, so we said it might have been better to order various à la carte items instead. Thank you for having us.

    Winter is wonderful too.

    Stayed alone to celebrate my birthday. Most guests were families or couples, but the overall atmosphere of the accommodation was calm and allowed me to relax. On Saturday, there was an event where marshmallows were roasted over a bonfire. Unfortunately, I wasn’t approached when I went near it alone—would have loved to roast some marshmallows! The bath was great with a view of the ocean even from the indoor bath. It was also convenient that fresh towels could be borrowed each time. The room was clean, but I noticed that the air conditioner was extremely dirty when I looked at it closely—it would be nice if this could be cleaned during off-season maintenance. The view of Mt. Fuji from my room was stunning! I had expected only residential areas in a mountain-view room, so this pleasant surprise made me happy. Since there are no convenience stores nearby, it would be nice if the shop offered not just souvenirs but also more regular snacks for purchase.

    The infinity pool was amazing.

    I spent New Year's at this Hotel. Unfortunately, the dinner buffet was fully booked, so I couldn't try it. The breakfast buffet was delicious! It would be even better if there were clear signs indicating what dishes are available, such as "ozoni" or "omelet," even from a distance. Also, having more desserts and soft-serve ice cream would be great for families! I hope the bathroom facilities in the guest rooms can be cleaned more thoroughly. Other facilities were excellent—like having a ReFa hair dryer and the infinity pool setup was fantastic. And the breathtaking view from the heated pool! The ocean and Mount Fuji were absolutely stunning. I'd love to visit again in summer next time!

    The facility is old and in poor condition.

    The room is very small with a low ceiling, making it feel extremely cramped! This price is outrageous for what you get. The parking lot is on gravel without asphalt and requires an additional fee. While the exterior looks impressive, this Hotel feels like a Business Hotel level that should cost no more than 10,000 yen per room. Definitely not recommended!

    Quite disappointing.

    I drove to the accommodation. The parking lot was extremely crowded due to group guests, but more than 8 spaces near the entrance were reserved as disabled parking with cones, making it impossible to park there. I had no choice but to move my car far from the entrance. It is highly questionable why these spaces could not be opened up if no disabled guests were staying at the time. On top of this, I was charged an additional fee of over 1,000 yen for parking despite this situation, which I found unacceptable. Additionally, as I had a lot of luggage and had to use a cart, staff at the entrance left me unattended with my luggage on the cart and told me to take it myself all the way to my room. There was no offer like "Shall we carry your luggage?" and when I asked for assistance in bringing it to my room, they simply said such services are not provided. The service did not match the price paid at all. I will never stay here again and do not recommend it.

    The variety of restaurants is amazing!

    Attracted by the on-site spa, stayed with a stunning view of the heated pool. Arrived before the 2:00 PM check-in time and entered the restaurant for tea time. After being seated and placing an order, was told, "All cakes are sold out." Left in surprise without even drinking water. The Chinese dinner and breakfast buffet were so delicious that I went for seconds, with impeccable service to match. It's a mystery why there's such a difference in experience!
