    Breakfast

    This hotel offers an excellent breakfast, which we absolutely love. The salmon is large and delicious, and there is a wide variety of fresh drinks, making for a very satisfying start to the day. The room, bathroom, and bed are all satisfactory. The staff are polite and greet us properly. It has become our regular accommodation as a couple.

    A Pleasant Stay

    I recently visited after a long time. I stayed in the Club King Room, and compared to the View Bath Room, it felt much more spacious. The large windows provided a sense of openness, and the facilities were well-equipped, allowing for a very comfortable stay. The Club Lounge was also wonderful with excellent service and delightful food and beverages, including alcohol. I especially noticed an improvement in the variety of dishes offered during cocktail hour buffets. For breakfast, there were more main dish options to choose from, making each visit even more enjoyable. This is truly a lovely Hotel that I would love to visit again!

    Not the best value f...

    Not the best value for money, possibly geared towards international visitors. Considering the location, it might be understandable.

    Club Lounge Access

    Stayed to celebrate my partner's birthday. The staff kindly offered their congratulations during check-in at the lounge—thank you! A cute teddy bear welcomed us in the Room, and the view from the bath was amazing. The cocktail time dishes at the club lounge paired perfectly with drinks and were deliciously satisfying. The location was convenient, and we had a comfortable stay throughout. I’ll definitely stay here again when visiting Shinagawa!

    It was excellent.

    I stayed for a 3-night Multiple Night Stay. On one morning, I had to leave early to head towards Yokosuka, so I chose this location for its convenient access. It met my expectations perfectly, allowing me to reach my destination with plenty of time and no stress in the morning rush. The location is also ideal as a base for other days' activities. The Room was comfortable, and the service was just right, enabling me to relax and fulfill the purpose of my stay. It would be even better if it were slightly more affordable!

    A wonderful time after a long-awaited visit.

    It had been years since my last stay, but I once again had an amazing time. I originally chose this accommodation for its unbeatable convenience, being directly connected to Shinagawa Station during my business trips to Tokyo. However, as I hadn't traveled to Tokyo recently, the opportunities to stay here had decreased. This time, I booked a multiple night stay after a long while and was reminded of how outstanding the location is. The ease of access truly stands out—there’s no stress at all when moving with luggage right off the Shinkansen. This is undoubtedly one of its greatest strengths. Additionally, the staff's service was exceptional. When I mentioned my name at the front desk, they kindly informed me that check-in could also be done in the Club Lounge. There, I enjoyed a comfortable check-in experience with drinks in hand. Coincidentally, it was just when their alcohol service began and they offered delicious champagne—this alone elevated my satisfaction level immensely! The staff at the Club Lounge were particularly attentive and provided better hospitality than any other hotel lounge staff I've encountered before. The breakfast served there was luxurious and delicious without any flaws whatsoever. The room featured a view bath where I could relax deeply and organize my thoughts. That said, there are two minor points I'd like to mention: 1) One part of the jet bath nozzle in the bathroom was detached upon arrival and kept falling off even after reattaching it—it seemed broken. While this didn’t affect me as I didn’t use it anyway, it's something that should have been addressed during cleaning since it came loose again by my use. 2) During cleaning on day one around noon (as part of my multiple night stay), it seems housekeeping entered thinking no one was present while I happened to be using the restroom unnoticed by them. When stepping out later on though nobody remained inside; however used cups/coffee mugs were left messily placed atop sinks mid-cleaning likely abandoned realizing someone occupied midway through tasks abruptly leaving unfinished work behind. Upon exiting shortly thereafter encountering male/female cleaners outside hallway requesting completion yet language barriers hindered understanding leaving concerns over valuables security unattended under such circumstances felt uneasy overall regarding trustworthiness handling personal belongings securely within rooms themselves ultimately affecting peace-of-mind slightly negatively overall impression otherwise stellar experience overall nonetheless!

    It was truly a wonderful stay.

    I stayed on the Club Floor, and in one word, it was simply "amazing." I was truly impressed by the hospitality of the staff and the quality of the Club Lounge. The Hotel itself and the Room were very clean, sophisticated, and had an atmosphere I absolutely loved. Every staff member I interacted with was outstandingly professional. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you very much!

    I had a very good time again.

    I have already stayed here many times. This time, too, it was a very pleasant stay. Compared to other properties of the same class, I think the club lounge is excellent. I would like to stay here again next time.

    An additional charge is required for an extra bed.

    I chose this Hotel because it is directly connected to Shinagawa Station, as I was scheduled to arrive late at night. However, it was actually a bit of a walk from the station. We made a Reservation for three people, but I overlooked the fact that there would be an additional charge for the extra bed, which I was informed of at check-in, much to my surprise. At that time, another staff member suddenly appeared while the initial staff member was assisting us and said, "It's common for recent Hotels to charge for extra beds." I couldn't understand the intention behind such a comment. The Room was also quite cramped, with no space left for walking once three beds were placed. Additionally, amenities like razors and hairbrushes had to be requested separately, which was stressful as I arrived late and wanted to rest quickly. Overall, I felt the cost performance was poor.

    A regular Stays with high hospitality

    One of the Stays I often use when visiting Tokyo, they understand each guest's preferences and try to respond quickly to requests. The IKYU Diamond benefits include a breakfast service, which is quite delicious. However, unlike the last time I used it, the freshly baked bread service was probably not timed well this time. A sushi restaurant has somehow opened on the first floor of the Hotel in Shinagawa Easton Tower, allowing me to enjoy drinking with peace of mind. It seems that the wave of rationalization is also reaching the InterContinental, but if possible, I would like the amenities to be as well-stocked as before.

    Unfortunately...

    The interior of the Hotel has a luxurious feel, but all items in the minibar in the guest rooms were charged. The payment method is like writing on paper and submitting it, but the form is placed in a location that is not noticeable, which could easily be mistaken for a scam. I hope they refrain from such sneaky tactics. Extremely disappointing. Moreover, the price range is 4.5 times the market rate.

    The club's hospitality rivals that of a luxury Japanese Ryokan!!

    It was my first stay at the Strings InterContinental Tokyo since autumn the year before last. I chose the club room again this time, and there is a reason for that. Every time I think about it, the attendants at this hotel's club remind me of the hospitality of a luxury Japanese Ryokan, with their perfect balance of attentiveness—not too intrusive, yet not neglectful. This is what sets them apart. The biggest difference from other luxury hotel clubs is perhaps this sense of balance. This time, I met three wonderful female attendants who made me want to stay in the club room of this hotel again. I look forward to meeting them again at this hotel's club.

    For better or worse

    The atmosphere of the Intercontinental is nice. The facility is small, but everything is easily accessible, which I really like. The gym is a bit lacking. I couldn't relax much with just a one-night stay, but the breakfast buffet was quite good. The view was nice, and it was a good room. I will visit again.
