Okuma Private Beach & Resort

We stayed for four nights with our child and dog, and it was simply the most enjoyable 4-night, 5-day trip. Above all, the staff were so warm and welcoming that we truly came to love this Hotel.While it may be a bit of a selfish wish, we would be happy if pets were allowed even just near the entrance of the restaurants. That said, we were very grateful that there were several places where we could dine together with our dog.There may be some room for improvement in terms of housekeeping thoroughness and amenities, but more than anything, the comfort was outstanding. Thank you very much.We were able to make wonderful summer memories with our dog as well, and our whole family was truly happy!Our daughter had an amazing time too! We will definitely come back again next year!

Unlike my visit one winter about five years ago, the entire Accommodation felt lively this time. When I looked into it, I found that the operating company had changed. There were a few slightly scatterbrained staff members, but everyone truly did their best to provide warm hospitality. What stood out most was how delicious the food was. For dinner, I had an Okinawan set meal at “Iju,” and breakfast was a buffet with many options—but the best were the freshly made “Hiraichi” and “pork-and-egg rice balls,” which really hit the spot both physically and mentally. In summer, I think the bright impression of the Hotel was also helped by the stunning gradation of blues and greens in the sea. Many flowers were in full bloom in the garden, and to my delight I even got to see a rare flower called “Sagaribana,” which blooms at night and falls by morning—found only on southern islands—so I was very satisfied. I think it’s a wonderful Hotel where people of all ages can relax peacefully. The Facility is a bit old, but everything is properly cleaned, which felt reassuring. There was also a large refrigerator with a freezer compartment, so being able to freeze drinks before heading out for beach or mountain activities was fantastic! I’d love to visit again.
