    Overall, it feels like "Hmm..."!

    The building and Room are quite old... It feels like a Showa-era Ryokan. The meals aren't bad, but they could be better. I didn't watch the landlady's performance as I was tired. It would be good to brush up on various aspects!

    A historic Onsen Hotel

    We enjoyed a short two-day, one-night trip together. The building at Tokiwakan seemed a bit aged, but the room's open-air bath was absolutely fantastic! Being able to soak in the bath 24 hours and enjoy the night and morning views from the top floor was incredible. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent! The performance by the hostess featuring drums was impressive, though it might be time for a generational change for the main performer—it felt a bit unfortunate towards the end. We hope to see some refreshing updates on our next visit. However, we were not entirely satisfied with the front desk service; the hospitality from three male staff members left something to be desired.

    It was very relaxing...

    It was very relaxing. Despite the heavy rain, staying at the large Ryokan eliminated any sense of unease. It would be even better if minor repairs, such as the ventilation fan in the private toilet, could be addressed promptly.

    I used the Business Plan of a Japanese-style Ryokan. The Room was a Japanese-style room. Futons were laid out on the tatami, which was very comfortable. I would like to use it again.

    I was on a business trip, but during this season when sweating is inevitable while working outside, being able to enjoy a spacious Onsen instead of just the shower in the room's unit bath was truly delightful.

    It was a unique experience you can't find elsewhere. Highly recommended!

    This is a historic accommodation, so it has a slightly old-fashioned feel, but the bath was excellent. It had charm and allowed for a relaxing experience. And above all, the performance by the grand hostess!! You won't find this anywhere else. It was entertaining and uplifting, leaving me energized. The performance was so captivating that I might get hooked!

    The open-air bath surrounded by fresh greenery in early summer was exceptional. In particular, the cypress open-air bath, which alternates with the women's bath in the morning, was truly wonderful.

    It has been a good year-end and New Year's.

    Thank you very much for taking care of our family of five this time. Thanks to you, we had a wonderful New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. The food was very delicious, and the children's meals were plentiful and not just the usual kid's meals, so the children were truly satisfied. We chose a room with a private bath, and our family was able to relax and enjoy it. Next time, we would like to try the large public bath as well. Honestly, when I looked at the reviews, it mentioned that the facility and building were old, but the food and service were so good that it didn't bother us at all, and we even wondered if it was really okay at this price. We would love to visit again.

    Bath and Okami Theater

    I have used Yuda Onsen many times, but compared to others, the water was not soft and lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing. The famous Okami Theater was fun and interesting to watch. The Okami, who is working hard, along with the two sisters who have been supporting for many years and the students from Yamaguchi University, were wonderful. However, it was unfortunate that everyone's costumes were too tattered and dirty, lacking a sense of cleanliness, and I didn't like that the Okami's tights had a big hole. It was a shame that such a fun event was diminished. Please consider renewing it if possible.
