    Koshien Stadium Viewing

    Every year, I make a reservation six months in advance and stay for the summer high school baseball games. This year, I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to Koshien Stadium, and there is a spacious parking lot. I appreciate that upon request, the parking can be used at an affordable rate until 6 PM on the checkout day. Thanks to this, I was able to enjoy watching baseball at my own pace and create wonderful memories. The room was clean and comfortable; however, I noticed that the water flow in the bathroom was quite low.

    I have been using this place for about 5 years whenever I have business in Nishinomiya. This time, I stayed in a reasonably priced Room, so the age of the furnishings was noticeable, but its convenient location near the station makes it very useful. During my previous stay, there were snack crumbs on the chair and items fallen in the washroom, but this time I had a pleasant experience. Looking forward to staying again!

    I chose this hotel b...

    I chose this hotel because it was close to the baseball stadium. The room was nice, but during sleeping hours, I could hear snoring from the neighboring room, which made it hard to sleep. When I contacted the front desk, they suggested I rest in another room, but it was too late to move by then. Although it seems like a luxury hotel, there are issues with the room's structure. Breakfast was mediocre as well. The only satisfying point is its proximity to Koshien Stadium. When I asked for directions to a nearby convenience store, they gave me incorrect information—"Turn left after exiting," but since there are two exits from the hotel, their guidance led me astray (the staff member providing directions was foreign). I can't highly recommend this accommodation unless your main purpose is watching baseball games (though the Accommodation Fee is expensive). Next time...

    Good Hotel

    I have stayed here multiple times. What always impresses me is the sense of hospitality that truly feels like a hotel. The subtle and attentive service makes me feel relaxed. The distance from the stadium, the shopping center next door, and the convenience from the station are all excellent. I look forward to staying here again.

    Tissue was stuffed inside the peephole from the inside. I didn't notice it until I was leaving, which felt unsettling. It was probably left by a previous guest. It ruined what had been an enjoyable day. Please ensure thorough final checks during cleaning.

    I have stayed at various Hotels and Ryokans, but this was the first time I experienced such a long line at check-in that barely moved and took so much time. Perhaps you could consider implementing a smoother system? For me, it was fine since I only used the Hotel for attending the Koshien game, but for those traveling, it might feel like a waste of time. There were no apologies from the front desk staff regarding the waiting time. Additionally, as mentioned in other Reviews, I noticed significant wear on the walls of the Room. The breakfast restaurant was relaxing and enjoyable.

    Spacious Room with a Front View of Koshien Stadium

    The room on the 14th floor offered a direct view of Koshien Stadium. It was a Moderate Twin Room with over 30 square meters, quiet and spacious for a solo Multiple Night Stay. While the water-related Facility is outdated and somewhat inconvenient by modern standards, the ample space, view, and tranquility made for a satisfying stay. Breakfast may feel repetitive during a Multiple Night Stay as the menu remains mostly the same. However, there is an Ikari Supermarket and an AEON next to it across from the station, making it convenient to purchase food supplies. The breakfast buffet featured healthy options like various chilled soups and creative cold vegetable dishes. The black curry was especially appreciated during the hot season.

    Convenient to use.

    I am a repeat guest. The facility is clean, convenient, and easy to use, so I enjoy staying here. Both the facilities and amenities are well-equipped. It’s easy to travel to both Kobe and Osaka, so I will make another reservation.

    The Wi-Fi is slow.

    The Wi-Fi is slow and almost unusable. Despite a strong signal, it takes an unusually long time to load. This issue is not limited to the rooms but also occurs in the lobby and restaurant. We kindly request the installation of high-speed Wi-Fi. While the Facility and room interiors feel somewhat outdated, they are within an acceptable range. The breakfast venue was crowded with group guests, but the content was satisfactory overall.

    Close to the station and very convenient.

    I stayed here to watch the Takarazuka Kinen. The Hotel is close to the station, very clean, and provided a comfortable stay. If your purpose is to watch baseball, the location makes it even more convenient and worth staying at this Hotel. Thank you, and I would love to stay here again!

    Stayed for the Koshien 3-game series. It was a very good Hotel, and I had a comfortable stay. Thank you very much. However, the Wi-Fi did not connect at all for 3-4 hours after the game ended. While I understand the high traffic, is there any way to address this issue?

    Baseball Viewing

    Stayed for an interleague game. The room was clean, and although I only had breakfast, it was delicious and satisfying. However, I had to wait a long time during check-in. There were three staff members assisting guests, but since it was a busy Saturday, I hope improvements can be made. I strongly wish for a smoother check-in process during my next stay.

    The closet is...

    I am a repeat guest. I usually stay in the West accommodation, but this was my first time staying in the main building. The room is spacious, but I was surprised that the closet seemed to be made of steel. The noise it makes when opening and closing required some care. The bathroom is not cramped and is fairly functional, but... I would appreciate it if you could check on details like the closet in the room.

    It was a child-friendly Hotel.

    This was our first stay with children, and it was incredibly cost-effective! While the facilities were slightly dated, we were very satisfied with the preparation of children's amenities and the cleanliness of the towels. The staff at check-in were extremely kind, even letting our child enjoy a capsule toy machine, which made them very happy. We will definitely stay here again.

    Very disappointing.

    This was my second stay at this Hotel, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing this time. Reason 1: A large group of Asian tourists were filming loudly on YouTube in the West Wing first-floor lobby after 9:30 PM, making it difficult to pass through and impossible to relax on the sofas. Reason 2: Although I was informed that breakfast between 7 AM and 8 AM would be crowded, there was a long line of about 50 people outside when I arrived around 7:30 AM. My child was hungry but we had to give up entirely. If multiple groups of Asian tourists are staying at the same time, measures such as providing a separate area for them, offering breakfast packs, or implementing a reservation system should be considered. Otherwise, individual travelers are left inconvenienced despite this being a good Hotel overall. The poor manners of some large Asian tour groups are truly disruptive and frustrating.

    The Hotel is average, but it might be better to avoid the morning service.

    The Hotel is average. The Room is a bit outdated, but the service is fine. The morning service staff seemed unmotivated; we had to leave and come back because there were no seats available at first. Some dishes were already gone, and the basics felt lacking. There were tasteless grilled fish and hamburger patties that seemed prepackaged, but having yogurt was a plus. There was also fruit and coffee available. No Meals Included is recommended.

    First Stay After Company Name Change

    I have stayed at Novotel several times and was satisfied, so I chose it again this time. However, during check-in, I asked if my luggage could be taken to the room as my friend was waiting at the entrance. Unfortunately, I was told that they were short-staffed and it couldn't be done, which was a bit disappointing.

    Hotel Hewitt Koshien: Your First One-Night Stay

    I had a sudden travel plan, but I always choose a hotel through IKYU, so I made the reservation with peace of mind. The website mentioned member-exclusive plans, and I was surprised by the affordable price that included breakfast. The hotel was close to the station, and the lobby was spacious and clean. The front desk staff were kind and courteous. Although it was a smoking room, they deodorized it well, so there was no smell. The bathroom had separate washing and bathing areas, allowing for a relaxing experience. Seeing photos of Japanese-style rooms on the website made me wonder about such rooms in hotels, but since it’s IKYU.com, I trusted them and completed the reservation. However, upon entering the room, it looked completely different from the Japanese-style room shown online. While I wanted to request a room change, as I had already checked in and heard that all rooms were fully booked, I had no choice but to give up. The futon was already laid out in the room with a table and floor chairs placed at one corner. - The cushions were dirty with stains all over them. - Both shoulder parts of the fabric on the backrest of one floor chair were torn. - The wallpaper in some parts of the room was peeling off or damaged. - There were mysterious stains on one duvet cover. - There were holes in some shoji screens (paper sliding doors). - Two sections underboards near the sink by refrigerator showed peeling damage. - Dust visibly accumulated on ventilation fans. - Near where bath towels are placed in washroom area wall paper has large vertical cracks covered entirely black. This occurred specifically at Room 505; kindly verify current conditions based upon attached descriptions/photos provided herewith directly yourselves onsite management team! If low pricing justifies such issues please transparently inform members beforehand regarding these disappointing aspects accurately upfront instead misleading expectations otherwise likely cancel reservations earlier stage itself avoiding frustrations altogether! It’s truly disheartening especially coming from trusted platform like IKYU.com

    We had guests from afar stay at our accommodation. They mentioned that the room was lovely and the meals were delicious. They were very pleased with the close proximity to Koshien Stadium.

    Regular Accommodation for Koshien Stadium Visitors

    The location is excellent, the service is great, and we always stay here when watching games at Koshien Stadium. Since we plan to continue using this hotel, I would like to point out a few areas for improvement. We stayed in a Family Twin room on the 5th floor this time. While the view doesn't compare to higher floors, it was convenient that the elevator only goes up to the 5th floor. The bathroom setup was excellent with separate toilet, bath, and dressing area; a separate shower space and bathtub; and strong water pressure in the shower. However, it would have been more convenient if there were a sink in or near the toilet area instead of having to go into the dressing room every time. Additionally, during our stay, WiFi speed was very slow except early in the morning and was almost unusable most of the time. This has never happened before so it might have been an isolated issue. Breakfast had plenty of variety with lots of green vegetables for salads which I appreciated. It would be helpful if vegetable names were labeled for those unfamiliar with them like myself. Also, I missed having fruit juice as it seems no longer available. Despite these points, overall satisfaction remains high. We look forward to staying again in May!

    Best value for money

    I usually stay in accommodations in Osaka City (Umeda, Shinsaibashi), but this time, due to a higher budget, I decided to try this hotel in Koshien, which is relatively close to Osaka City. Fortunately, the day I stayed happened to offer a twin room at a very affordable price, which was extremely helpful. With Hanshin Electric Railway, Umeda is accessible within 20 minutes, so I didn’t feel any inconvenience. The room was more spacious than expected and the amenities were satisfactory. Breakfast was reasonably priced with a wide variety of options; however, it was disappointing that the seasoning and food quality were quite low for most items. The only thing that stood out as delicious were the cut fruits like oranges. Still, it provided enough sustenance for the morning and overall cost performance was excellent. Next time I visit Osaka, depending on the price at that time, this will definitely be one of my top choices to check for availability.

    Stay After KidZania

    Stayed after visiting KidZania Koshien. Checked in at 9:00 PM after KidZania closed, but it took some time as many families were checking in at the same time. Took a taxi from Lalaport for 1,400 yen. (After 9 PM, the taxi stand inside Lalaport is unavailable; taxis can be called near Mukogawa Women's University Nursery School.) Reserved a twin room in the West Wing. The room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning temperature can be adjusted. A National-brand microwave is available on the first floor. There are three coin-operated laundry machines (drum type with automatic detergent dispensing) on the 6th floor of the Main Building, accepting only 100-yen coins (coin exchange available at reception). It was hard to find an available machine, so I made several trips back and forth from the West Wing and ended up walking about 1 km according to my pedometer.

    Breakfast could be improved.

    Convenient access to Kobe and Osaka makes this a frequent choice for me. This time, I stayed in a renovated Superior West Twin Room, but going outside to access the dining area and parking was inconvenient due to bad weather and cold temperatures. For breakfast, the porridge was mostly water with little rice, and while the bread was toasted using an Aladdin toaster, it took too long to toast. The fruit (orange) was delicious; however, some dishes had stains or black marks, and there were hardened rice grains stuck on the outside of bowls. It didn’t feel clean or appetizing overall. The Superior West Twin Room lacked a vanity table for makeup application; I had no choice but to use the mirror in the bathroom. There wasn’t enough space for cosmetic pouches either—I ended up placing my makeup items on top of the toilet lid. There was also no place for hair irons or similar items, which felt inconvenient. A proper mirror inside the room would have been helpful. This time I stayed for 2 nights but made separate reservations for each night instead of booking a Multiple Night Stay Plan. Despite not being part of an eco-friendly plan or any special arrangement like that, cleaning services were not provided as standard practice during my stay unless requested explicitly through notes left in advance—this included replenishment of amenities as well. Since I paid separately per night rather than opting into any discounted plans like an eco-stay package deal—it would be reasonable if regular cleaning services were offered without needing extra effort from guests' side

    Stayed at the accommodation to support my daughter's school at Koshien.

    Thank you for accommodating my late check-in as I traveled from Kanagawa after work to support my daughter's school at Koshien. The Room was very clean, and I had a great rest, allowing me to cheer with full energy. If they advance further, I will visit again. Thank you very much!

    Perfect for watching games at Koshien Stadium!

    I stayed here for a Koshien game. The parking lot is spacious and located underground, and it's only a 3-minute walk to Koshien Stadium. There are convenience stores and shopping centers right next door, making the location excellent. I chose a Japanese-style room where the bathtub, washing area, and toilet were separate, which was great. The shower pressure was strong and very pleasant to use. It was slightly inconvenient that the refrigerator was located in the washroom area, and there were some signs of wear like peeling carpet in the hallway and slight aging of the facility. However, it was kept clean overall, so I was satisfied. The Facility is impressive with reasonably priced vending machines, and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes. The price balance is good overall; I am satisfied with my stay and would recommend it!
