    After sightseeing on...

    After sightseeing on the Shimanami Kaido, we stayed in a Corner Twin Room for three people. The location is easy to find as the tower stands tall. The building has a luxurious feel, and the room was bright, clean, with great views, making our stay very pleasant. Despite being late at night, staff were present at the large public bath and kindly guided us. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options; we ate too much but were delighted to try "Imabari Tamago Meshi." At check-in, we were informed by the front desk that it could be crowded during early hours; however, arriving before 8 AM allowed us to enjoy a smooth and relaxed experience. It was our first time in Imabari, but all the staff were incredibly friendly and made for an excellent start to our trip. We would love to stay again when visiting Shikoku. Thank you very much!

    Enjoy a Fulfilling Trip to Imabari

    We stayed as a family of three for a family trip. We visited with the impression that it was a luxury city Hotel in Shikoku, but we were slightly disappointed when there was no greeting or assistance upon parking our car at the entrance. However, we found it more comfortable not having to worry about formalities. At breakfast on the second day, although the venue was crowded, a male staff member provided excellent service by guiding us to our seats. The variety and taste of the dishes were great, allowing us to enjoy our meal leisurely. During checkout, a different female staff member from the previous day assisted us pleasantly. While it seemed like there might be some inconsistency in service due to shifts, overall, we felt it was a good Hotel experience.

    Satisfied.

    The Room was spacious and quiet, with no noise from neighboring rooms, the hallway, or the elevator. The breakfast, especially the grilled pork bowl and sea bream rice, was delicious. We enjoyed tasting the local delicacies of Ehime thoroughly, particularly the sea bream rice. Many thanks to the chef! The paintings on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the facility were wonderful. It felt like visiting an art museum with a great exhibition of Shimanami Kaido artworks. Thank you very much!

    Great value for money.

    I stayed for two nights during my Shimanami Kaido sightseeing trip. I chose this accommodation because I wanted to stay in a landmark building in Imabari. The view of Imabari Castle from the room was breathtaking, and I could even see the Seto Inland Sea. The sunrise was incredibly beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast venue was large, so there was no waiting time to enjoy the meal. Despite it being Golden Week, the accommodation fee was very reasonable. I would love to stay here again. For dinner, I dined at the hotel's restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal with a discount for guests, which was great!

    It was a lovely Room.

    I had always wanted to stay at this wonderful hotel. This time, I planned a trip across the Shimanami Kaido and was finally able to complete the reservation. From the room, I could enjoy a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea, Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge, and Imabari Castle. The room was spacious, and witnessing the sunrise over the sea contrasting with Imabari Castle in the morning was truly moving. I would love to stay here again if given another opportunity!

    The accommodation featured spacious interiors and luxurious chandeliers, making it a gorgeous hotel. When we asked about yakitori restaurants in the city, the staff kindly provided several recommendations, and we enjoyed delicious grilled chicken skin. The bath area was spacious with a sauna, cold bath, and relaxation space—truly ideal. We also had fun interacting with guests from a Taiwanese tour group. It would be great if bath towels could be provided to guests when checking for accommodation status at the baths since only hand towels are currently available. The pajamas were stylish and well-designed; however, they were too small for my husband, so larger sizes would be appreciated. Thanks to the time-limited sale offer, we stayed at an excellent rate. Thank you very much!

    One of the premier Hotels

    This was our first visit to Imabari, planned in advance and traveling through the Shimanami Kaido. Our stay at the landmark Imabari Kokusai Hotel was truly wonderful, as many others have highly rated it. We had requested a high-floor room with a view of Imabari Castle, and we were delighted that it was prepared for us in advance upon check-in. The clean and quiet room, along with the delicious breakfast, made this one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed at. Thank you very much! My wife was also thrilled and said she would love to visit Imabari again and stay at Imabari Kokusai Hotel next time as well. The only downside was that the air conditioning (cooling) in the room did not work effectively, so I gave a slightly lower rating for facilities/equipment. On our way back home, we witnessed a forest fire spreading nearby. We sincerely hope for its swift containment. We will definitely return!

    For family trips,

    We used it for a family trip. It wasn't new, but it was a very luxurious hotel. It was nice to have a shower booth in the room. We bought many Imabari towels and souvenirs at the shop inside the hotel. It was a property that made me want to visit again.

    When it comes to Stays in Imabari, it is undoubtedly the International Hotel.

    I stayed for just one night, but it had been a while since my last visit. The imposing presence visible from anywhere in the city of Imabari and the atmosphere as soon as you enter the lobby made me feel once again that this is a first-class hotel. This time, I chose a plan that included breakfast and onsen. It was my first time for both, but the onsen was particularly good. Not only was the facility equipped with an open-air bath impressive, but the service was also excellent, with two staff members attending even late at night or early in the morning. The room I stayed in was on a high floor facing east, offering a wonderful view of the illuminated Imabari Castle and the distant Shimanami in the early morning. The only downside was that the bed mattress was too hard, preventing a deep sleep, but this is just a personal preference. There is no doubt that I would want to stay here again when visiting this city.

    The temperature of the water in both the open-air bath and the indoor bath in the large public bath was lukewarm. It didn't feel like warming up in the Onsen. The bath in the Room was spacious and had a nice view, so it would have been better to use that one.

    Family Trip

    This is the third time, including last year and six years ago. I am very grateful for always accommodating changes to the Room type and other requests. I had a comfortable stay at the new annex building. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast buffet. I think having a wider variety would enhance the dining experience.

    Large Public Bath

    There was an Onsen and a sauna, which were large and nice, but there were few washing areas, causing congestion, and many people were having trouble using them.

    It is a good Hotel.

    From the inquiry stage, the front desk woman was pleasant and very kind. The arrangement of the requested rental items, consultation for restaurant reservations, and the room was on the ocean side, allowing for a good stay. The hotel staff, boutique shop clerks, and restaurant service staff were all very kind, and I enjoyed my solo trip in Imabari. I'm glad I chose this hotel. Thank you very much.

    It was wonderful.

    We traveled by car to Onomichi with our family, cycled across the Shimanami Kaido, and stayed overnight in Imabari. What is appreciated by cyclists is: 1. You can bring your cycle bike into the room. 2. You can send your change of clothes to the hotel in advance, and they will be delivered to your room. You can also send your luggage after changing at the counter, allowing you to travel back and forth hands-free. 3. The large public bath is spacious and clean. Moreover, you can check the congestion status from the room information, allowing you to adjust your bathing time and enjoy a relaxing bath. 4. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety and is delicious, allowing us to continue our journey back with energy. As a general guest: 1. The explanation at check-in was detailed, including the public bath and breakfast times, and even the likely crowded times, which was helpful. 2. The room was a twin in the annex, but it was spacious enough to bring in two bikes and still be comfortable. The soundproofing was good, and we hardly heard any noise from other guests. The bath and toilet were new and hygienic, making our stay pleasant. Thank you very much. The drawbacks are: 1. The movement between the main building and the new building is a bit complicated. Once you get used to it, it's fine. 2. There is no discount at the shop. The restaurant offers a 10% discount. 3. The top lounge opens at 8 PM, and if it opened a little earlier, we could have enjoyed a drink while watching the night view of the Kurushima-Kaikyo Bridge... I apologize for writing at length. In short, if we stay in Imabari again, we will definitely choose this place.

    The building has a sense of style!!

    It is a building with a sense of grandeur. The staff overall seemed well-trained, and I am satisfied. I visited this time for a pilgrimage, and the tall hotel tower was impressive, as it immediately caught my eye even when looking down from the mountain temple I climbed the next day.

    The hot spring was nice. The spring quality is slippery. The room was spacious. The breakfast buffet was average.

    I accidentally dropped my earring down the sink, but they retrieved it for me, and I'm truly grateful. They even said, "That's great, I'm sure something good will happen tomorrow too," which made it a really wonderful trip. Thank you very much.
