    It would be nice to have chairs, not just floor chairs.

    The Room was very spacious, and we were able to relax. There were three of us, so we had two beds and a futon. It was comfortable and roomy, but there were no chairs and no sofa—only floor chairs—so it was difficult for my 90-year-old mother to get comfortable, and she ended up sitting on the bed. The Room I chose was listed as an 8-tatami Japanese-style room (it actually felt more like about 12 tatami—almost too large), but I don’t think it mentioned that there would be no sofa. All the photos in the listing showed a sofa or similar seating, so I assumed there would be one. That was very disappointing. Other services, including the meals, were excellent. Thank you very much.

    The service is excellent.

    This was my first visit, and I really enjoyed it—there were thoughtful touches throughout, from the Onsen eggs to complimentary sweets, keeping things engaging from arrival to the very end.

    This is a true Japanese Ryokan.

    We decided on a whim that we wanted to enjoy crab and other seafood, so we stayed here. The Shuttle Service from the station and the attentive staff throughout the Ryokan made our stay very comfortable. There were various baths and lounge services, but what impressed us most was that, while many Accommodations in recent years have international staff, everyone we interacted with here was Japanese, which truly made us feel like we were staying at a traditional Japanese Ryokan.

    The bath and meals were very satisfying. Unfortunately, the Room walls are thin, and we could hear all the conversations from the next Room, so it was quite noisy; I would like this to be improved.

    An Accommodation you’ll want to stay at again and again.

    This was my first trip to Hokuriku, and I stayed here for two days. I had a truly wonderful time throughout my stay. On the first day, I chose a Room with a garden Onsen open-air bath; on the second day, I chose the No Meals Included Plan with an Onsen open-air bath Room. Both were spacious, spotless, and excellent—especially the garden Onsen open-air bath Room. The bath and washing area were very roomy, and there were also chairs and a table, so I could relax in the open-air bath for as long as I wanted. Since my Room was next to the large public bath, it was easy to go back and forth between my private bath and the public one. On check-in day, we suddenly decided to drive instead of using the Shuttle Service, so I called to cancel. Despite the last-minute change, they responded kindly and attentively without any hint of inconvenience—it put me at ease even before arriving. Upon arrival, every staff member—from those guiding guests to reception staff to everyone we passed—welcomed us with warm smiles. It felt like genuine hospitality rather than something mechanical. The staff member in charge of our Room and dinner service was also wonderful: friendly, great at conversation, always explaining things at our pace with thoughtful consideration. Because they spoke naturally in their own words rather than scripted phrases, it made everything more enjoyable and comfortable. We enjoyed dinner in a private dining room called Kaga (Kaga). A magnificent crab was served as part of the starters; there were so many dishes—and such generous portions—that we could have been full from just the crab alone. A staff member told us about “Supakuro-kun,” who quickly grew on me—I bought a Supakuro-kun keychain right away. The next morning after breakfast when we left without saying anything further, they noticed us despite being busy and came over специально just to see us off; I was truly moved. There are three large public baths with saunas; my favorite was Yugen no Yudono (Yugen no Yudono). The sauna lighting was dim and quiet enough that I could really focus. I was also surprised by how many complimentary services there were. My husband usually doesn’t eat steamed sweet potatoes much at all, but he said they were delicious and went back for them both days. The free boiled eggs were another easy treat. When I tried to take a photo before peeling one but struggled to do it neatly, a female staff member quickly placed a towel down for me without being asked. As we were leaving and trying to take a commemorative photo together, a male staff member who had been assisting with the Shuttle Service hurried over saying he would take it for us. From start to finish، every single person paid close attention to what guests needed، offering thoughtful care again و again۔ We left feeling nothing but gratitude—and thinking what an incredibly warm، wonderful Accommodation this is۔

    1) The Room is avera...

    1) The Room is average. Since it’s split into two rooms, they should have divided the futons among the eight guests; not doing so feels simply lazy. 2) The Onsen on the second floor is better. Why are towels only provided in the Room like a cheap Hotel? If you’re going to place them on the first floor, wouldn’t it make more sense to put them in the changing area? Not very considerate. 3) Service is about standard for a Ryokan. This applies almost everywhere, but service in the Ryokan industry can feel somewhat arrogant. Even premium international Hotels (Westin, MGallery, Hilton class) are clearly more courteous. With how developed online reviews are now, they should consider reputation risk. 4) The crab dishes were extremely satisfying. Even if you spent your entire Accommodation Fee in Kyoto or Osaka, you probably couldn’t get this at this price—excellent value for money. A great choice if you’re coming for crab. Breakfast was clearly underwhelming.

    Room 366 at Tensho no Yakata is truly impressive.

    For my 73rd birthday, I stayed at Yunokuni Tensyo for the first time. Although I have visited Kanazawa many times, this was my first time in Kaga Onsen. My wife and I, both onsen enthusiasts, enjoyed all the onsen facilities in the accommodation and used the jacuzzi in our room three times during our stay. What amazed us most was the "Crab Kaiseki" dinner equivalent to two snow crabs. We upgraded a bit for my birthday celebration and were extremely satisfied. We are also grateful for the wonderful hospitality of the staff from the moment we entered. Special thanks to the staff who guided us to our room and meals. Thank you very much! It became a memorable and enjoyable birthday celebration!

    We had a great time.

    It was a three-generation trip with my granddaughter and daughter. There were many services like making Onsen eggs and offering traditional sweets, which made my granddaughter very happy! The baths were spacious with a variety of options, which was great. The meals were all about crab—so much that we couldn’t finish it all. My granddaughter said this place is wonderful and wants to come back again! If we have the chance, we would love to visit again. If I may make one request, it would be great if check-out time could be at 11:00 AM.

    A lively and enjoyable accommodation

    The lobby and large public bath were lively, as there were many group travelers. The room was spacious enough to feel luxurious. The staff attending the room was cheerful and entertaining, making the stay enjoyable and memorable. Although it is a bit far from the Onsen town, the distance was perfect for a pleasant walk.

    The meals were excellent.

    I stayed from 12/30 to 1/1. All the staff were welcoming with warm smiles and provided excellent service. The New Year's Eve dinner was very luxurious and everything was delicious. There were three Onsen facilities, and despite being a large Ryokan, it never felt crowded, making it very comfortable. The complimentary steamed buns and other treats were also enjoyable. I had a pleasant and comfortable stay!

    Great for those who want to have fun!

    The hotel was lively, with many families and group guests. It might not be suitable for those looking for a quiet stay at a luxury ryokan. There were several onsen facilities, along with a drink bar and snacks in the lobby, giving it an entertaining onsen accommodation vibe. Since we had kids with us, they didn’t get bored and enjoyed it thoroughly. Dinner was a two-crab course, but as crab lovers, our family felt it wasn’t enough (laughs). There was no explanation about the origin or type of crab, which made us wonder if we could have had the same crab in Tokyo without coming all the way to Ishikawa... Also, it was disappointing that the open-air bath in our room wasn’t sourced directly from natural hot springs and had a noticeable chlorine (disinfectant) smell.

    Celebrating the 70th Birthday

    Second stay The service was satisfying last time as well. The staff in charge was a man, but he was kind and accommodating, making it a pleasant experience. Due to winter lightning, I had to forgo the open-air bath in the room. The facility is spacious with various events, adding more enjoyment.

    A highly satisfying Onsen and crab trip!

    "My husband said, 'I want to eat crab!' and that inspired this trip. Since we were planning, we decided to enjoy an Onsen as well and made a Reservation. The Reviews were highly rated, and each person was served a whole crab, which felt very luxurious. The other dishes were also delicious, and we enjoyed comparing local sake. We could enjoy the Onsen multiple times, and making Onsen eggs was also a great experience."

    An excellent Accommodation—I feel refreshed, and my skin feels silky-smooth, like I’ve been rejuvenated.

    My spouse and I visit various Onsen, and this was the best Accommodation we have ever stayed at. From the welcome in the parking lot to the greeting at the entrance, the check-in support was kind and courteous. The building is very spacious and clean, beautifully decorated with tasteful Christmas touches. The lobby is also large, with plenty of complimentary drinks and snacks. The Room was spacious as well, with spotless windows—truly a clean Room. The food was delicious, and thank you to the staff member who served us for bringing hot dishes at just the right timing. The private open-air bath in our Room was beautiful, and there were also three large public baths, each spacious with several open-air baths attached. There was also a sauna and a cold plunge bath. We even received a birthday gift, and it was an extremely satisfying Accommodation. Thank you as well for seeing us off so politely when we left. We would love to stay again next year—thank you very much.

    Family Trip

    We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi to celebrate my elderly mother and my son's new job. Upon arrival, we noticed two hairs on the table, but the staff promptly addressed it when we asked. The room's refrigerator had limited options, but there was a tea set available. We also used the free drink corner, so it wasn't much of an inconvenience. My mother was delighted with the variety and quality of the baths, while my son, who isn't fond of large public baths, enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room. During late-night hours when he couldn't use the public bath, he made full use of our private jacuzzi. Each time we bathed, fresh bath towels were provided for added comfort. Meals were served in a private dining area and were fresh and delicious. While I enjoyed the dessert fruits very much, as someone particular about sweets, I felt that an extra touch to improve the cake would have been even better. Overall, everything was wonderful—perhaps our expectations were just too high! All staff members were polite and had lovely smiles that left a great impression. It turned out to be a trip that satisfied every member of our family completely. We hope to visit again as a family if given another opportunity. Thank you for providing us with such wonderful memories!

    The bath in the Room was excellent. We enjoyed a full day with activities and Facilities inside the building. Having a convenience store next door was also great.

    Shifting focus from group travel to individual travel is challenging...

    It seems this place was once geared towards group travel, but if focusing on individual travelers, more training for staff and attendants in "hospitality" and "attention to detail" might be necessary. - No greeting or send-off at the entrance. While I understand staffing issues, this is still important. - I understand it may be hard to find attendants, but younger staff might be better suited for basic services. They haven't reached the level of a "Room Attendant." - There was no explanation about how to operate the private open-air bath in the guest room. I had to call the front desk for assistance. Although they tried explaining over the phone, I requested someone come to my room for clarification. A written guide in the Room would have been helpful. - While personal preferences can make things challenging, please note that allergies are also a concern and should be taken into account. While efforts seem focused on streamlining lounge services, perhaps more attention could be given to customer service overall.

    Enjoyed the bath.

    I had another pleasant stay this time. The snacks available in the lobby at different times are always something I look forward to. I enjoyed the spacious bath as well. The flowers placed here and there added a thoughtful touch. The staff were also very welcoming and attentive.

    A wonderful Ryokan!

    All the staff were very friendly and kind, making our stay extremely pleasant. The meals were from the basic course, but they were beautifully presented, delicious, and so luxurious that it was surprising they weren’t part of a premium selection. We left completely satisfied. We enjoyed all three Onsen baths, each offering a unique atmosphere. Additionally, we made Onsen eggs and relaxed while enjoying Onsen manju, zenzai, warabi mochi with coffee or juice in a cozy setting filled with lively conversations. The room was spacious and comfortable. This time it was a group trip with six friends, and everyone agreed that this Ryokan provided an exceptionally fulfilling experience!

    This was my third st...

    This was my third stay at the accommodation. This time, I forgot to upgrade the meal plan and had the Hakunzen course, but all the dishes were well-seasoned. However, it seemed there were many guests, so we were in a large hall, and there was a moment when they almost cleared away dishes we hadn't finished yet, which made things feel a bit rushed and unsettled. I enjoyed all of the large public baths; however, in the spacious open-air bath, several small children were swimming and shouting loudly, making it difficult to relax. The private open-air bath in our room was excellent. Although I rated it lower compared to last year’s experience, this Ryokan remains one of my favorites in Yamashiro for its clean rooms and overall atmosphere. I plan to visit again during this season next year.

    It's been a while.

    I visited after 7 years to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday, having stayed here several times before. The Room was very clean and satisfying. However, the food seemed to have dropped in quality compared to last time. It was much more luxurious before... I was looking forward to the herbal bath, but it didn’t seem effective at all. Overall, it was a bit disappointing.

    Surprisingly spacious!

    Despite the large building, scale, and area of operation, there is no flaw in cleaning, arrangements, preparation, or management. You can feel the pride of all those involved in this accommodation. Each of the three large baths is wonderful. Truly an exceptional accommodation.

    We had a relaxing time with four friends.

    The accommodation was perfect for four adults, featuring a twin bedroom and a spacious Japanese-style room separated by a small lounge with a sofa and table. The bathroom had double sinks, making it very convenient. The check-in process was handled politely, leaving us with a great first impression of the accommodation. We enjoyed the meal course that included one whole snow crab, which was delicious. One minor disappointment was being charged 330 yen when we asked for a slice of lemon to accompany the sashimi and tempura—it was surprising since even izakayas provide it complimentary. But perhaps that's just their policy. Overall, we had an excellent time on this annual trip with friends from our student days!

    It was great.

    I had visited Yamashiro Onsen many times but never had the chance to stay at this accommodation. This time, I stayed for the first time and was very satisfied. The facility was lively with a great atmosphere. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The female staff member who served our meals received high praise from my companion for her excellent service. Thank you for your courteous hospitality. I look forward to staying again in the future!

    Surprise ruined

    I stayed here for the first time for a birthday trip. When I inquired via email about a special request for the occasion, I was told that a wooden celebration plate made from Ishikawa Prefecture wood would be prepared at the dining area, which I was very much looking forward to. However, during dinner on the day of my stay, the wooden plate was not prepared and seemed to have been forgotten, which was disappointing. The next day at checkout, I showed the email exchange and received it as I was leaving. However, since I had inquired about this before my stay, it is puzzling why there was no coordination regarding this matter.

    I was deeply impressed by the attentive hospitality.

    We stayed in a slightly upgraded Room with a private bath and enjoyed a meal full of crab. The Room was spacious, and the private bath was large enough for two people, which was excellent. However, we were even more impressed by the wonderful public bath. The complimentary sweets, drinks bar, and snacks available in the lobby added to the feeling of warm hospitality. The crab dishes were delicious and very satisfying; however, while having one whole crab was fine, removing the meat from the shells for other dishes became tiring. Personally, I would have preferred if some dishes came with pre-shelled crab meat for easier enjoyment. For this reason, I rated it four stars instead of five.

    Enjoy a wonderful time.

    From the check-in reception to the polite staff encountered throughout the facility, I arrived feeling great. Additionally, the attentiveness of the Room dining staff further elevated my mood, and both the bath and meals met expectations, making for a truly enjoyable time.
