    This was our second stay as a family.

    We stayed here to celebrate our child’s birthday. After visiting Kamogawa Sea World, we stayed here and requested a warm message and an additional cake. We’re always grateful for how comfortable our stay is. Since I stay here often, my friend also became interested and made a Reservation. In summer, it’s wonderful to dine at the restaurant while listening to the chorus of cicadas. Our child had fun searching for insects in the garden.

    This was the best va...

    This was the best value for money among all the Hotels I’ve stayed at around Tokyo. I’ll choose this place again whenever I come to visit Chiba. The breakfast and dinner were both delicious, and the dinner in particular was truly professional-level—my whole family loved it. I was amazed at how spacious the Room was. I didn’t expect to have such a large Room at this Accommodation Fee, so it was a pleasant surprise. The condition of the guest room was even better than in the photos, and everything was impeccably cleaned.

    A Hotel where you can relax and unwind

    I chose this Hotel while looking for one near Kisarazu to ride the Kururi Line. Even though I was traveling by public transportation, it was surprisingly convenient, with both local route buses and highway buses to Tokyo stopping here. True to Okura standards, the service and atmosphere were calm and refined, and I was able to enjoy both the Chinese dinner and the breakfast buffet at a relaxed pace.

    Attentive service and a peaceful atmosphere

    Perhaps because it was a weekday, there may have been fewer guests, but in any case the grounds were very quiet. I felt truly relaxed. The staff’s courteous service was also excellent—just what you would expect from Okura. I would definitely like to visit again.

    The guest rooms have been renovated and are now much improved.

    When I stayed previously, the room’s walls and carpet felt dated, and the TV still had an analog terrestrial button, which really made its age apparent. This time, the wallpaper and carpet had been completely refreshed, and I was surprised to see the TV upgraded to a new model with casting support. The Okura-quality service and hospitality were unchanged, and I had a very comfortable stay. I would definitely like to return.

    A wonderful Hotel that is welcoming to families with children

    We stayed here for sightseeing, including a visit to German Village. It was very family-friendly, and the Hotel was spotless, so we had a comfortable stay. The service was excellent—just what you would expect from Okura—and we were amazed to be able to stay at such an incredible price. This is a Hotel we would love to stay at again. Thank you very much.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    We decided to stay overnight on a rare short trip, and happened to choose this Hotel with a lovely atmosphere— it turned out to be an excellent choice. All of the staff provided pleasant, welcoming service. The only slight disappointment was that the bath had a combined shower and tub, but the Room was spacious enough and even had a balcony, which gave it a resort-like feel. Dinner was a full-course meal and very delicious. For breakfast, I would have liked to see a few more locally produced items. After breakfast, we took a walk around the lush grounds and had a truly relaxing stay. I’d love to visit again if I have the chance.

    It was a very quiet ...

    It was a very quiet Hotel with a calm, pleasant atmosphere, and I was able to relax well. There was plenty of greenery, and I enjoyed a refreshing morning walk. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection as expected, and I was very satisfied. The staff’s service was also just right and very good.

    Although the weather...

    Although the weather wasn’t very good, the dog run was a good size and our dog happily ran around, so we were pleased. The staff were very kind.

    It was comfortable.

    We stayed here for a family trip for the first time in a while. It was hard to find a place where all four of us could stay, but we finally found this one. The Room was spacious, the food was delicious, and all the staff were very courteous. When I told them we use a wheelchair, they even called to suggest suitable Room options, which I really appreciated. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

    We had a very satisfying stay.

    This was my first time staying at the Okura Hotel in Kisarazu, and I was extremely satisfied—at this price, we enjoyed the top-class dining and service that only Okura can offer. It was a surprisingly wonderful stay and became a great memory for us. We sometimes visit Kisarazu with my wife and our daughter’s family to go to the outlet mall, and from now on we would like to use the Hotel for lunch or dinner even on day trips. If possible, I would be happy if there were a Facility such as a terrace café where guests could enjoy lunch with their dog.

    Relax at the Year-End

    We have stayed here several times and had a relaxing time. The Chinese dinner was enjoyable. However, the WiFi connection was not very strong, which was disappointing. It would be even better if there were a large public bath.

    A bit disappointing...

    I have stayed here several times, but this time the room was noisy at night, making it difficult to sleep. The noise seemed to come from the emergency staircase next to the room I stayed in, with sounds like creaking or banging. It was unclear whether it was due to construction or something outside near the stairs. Perhaps the building is old, but unfortunately, it bothered me this time and left me disappointed! It might depend on which room you stay in... However, the staff were very kind and helpful. I still want to continue staying at this accommodation in the future.

    The room was clean! The breakfast buffet was delicious! If I may be picky, I would have liked some curry. Also, it was a bit disappointing that there wasn’t a shared microwave.

    Beyond expectations!

    We searched for accommodations in Kisarazu for our trip and came across this hotel. After reading the reviews, we concluded as a family that it was a "go" and made the reservation. The hotel's exterior is very impressive, and the lobby is spacious, open, and beautifully clean. The room was larger than expected, with a spacious bathroom that was easy to use. To our surprise, there was a bottle of red wine and wine glasses set up in the room as part of the "IKYU Diamond Member Benefits." We hadn't noticed this special service when making the reservation, so it was an unexpected delight. For meals, we only had breakfast at the restaurant. The view of the garden from there was stunning, and there were plenty of delicious options to choose from. We would love to stay here again if given another opportunity!

    Doggy Room Use

    I stay here with my dog about twice a year. The room is spacious and quiet, so I believe my dog was able to relax as well. Usually, when I stay, I receive a dog bed at the front desk to use in the room, but this time there was no bed available. Instead, I received a harness in a bag; however, it was size XS and did not fit my dog at all. It would be helpful if the size were indicated on the bag. The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and polite. The Chinese dinner was also very delicious. Regarding breakfast, although we were told we could go anytime, when we arrived at the breakfast venue, many people were waiting outside unable to enter. We ended up being seated 30 minutes later. While I understand this cannot always be helped, since we leave our dog in the room during meals, it would be appreciated if there were no waiting time for breakfast service. Perhaps implementing a system like other hotels where guests select their preferred time slot during check-in (in 30-minute intervals) and have it noted on their breakfast ticket could help distribute guest numbers more evenly. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Overall, it was comfortable.

    This trip had us moving rapidly between Okura Group Hotels: the first night at Academia Park, the second at the main property (Toranomon), and the third at East 21. While some aging is unavoidable, I feel the property is well maintained overall. As for the parking area, I understand it is surrounded by woodland and partly outdoors, but fallen leaves are always piled up on the ground whenever we visit, which unfortunately adds to a somewhat run-down impression. I sincerely hope that one day the Room bathroom will be renovated to include a separate washing area. According to the Room information (posted inside the closet), beverage vending machines were supposed to be available on every floor, but I could not find them. When I asked at the front desk, I was told vending machines are only on the first floor and that beer is sold at reception. It’s possible I simply missed something, but at minimum I think the notice inside the closet should be corrected. Regarding front desk service—including their response to my inquiry above—I felt there was room for improvement. On a positive note, what truly stood out was a male staff member who seemed to be the manager of “Toh-Ka-Lin,” the Chinese restaurant. Since there was no room service, I requested takeout, and his hospitality was outstanding—on par with (or even beyond) what one would expect at Toranomon itself. This is exactly what makes you think: this is The Okura Group. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

    Response to Late-Night Disturbances by Neighboring Guests

    The front desk upgraded my room to a different floor from the one where a group of guests was staying, which seemed promising at first. However, this backfired when a group of young men and women in the neighboring room started making loud noise around 11 PM. After tolerating it for about an hour with no improvement, I called the front desk. A staff member came but only warned the neighboring guests once and told me to wait and see, leaving shortly after as if it wasn’t their concern. Although it took about 10 minutes for them to quiet down, voices could still be heard again 30 minutes later. As a result, I was too irritated to get proper rest. While the blame lies with the inconsiderate neighboring guests, I wonder if there was more that could have been done by the hotel. The "connected room" design allowed sound to travel easily through the adjoining door, and despite what appeared to be low occupancy on a weekday night, my request for a room change was ignored. Even if this situation wasn’t directly caused by hotel management, ensuring a peaceful accommodation environment should be their responsibility. It felt unfair that only certain guests had to endure such discomfort (in this case both annoyance and sleep disturbance) without any resolution. There was no follow-up from staff afterward; all I received was a brief apology during check-out. This lack of hospitality is disappointing for an establishment claiming excellence under its prestigious name—especially after enjoying such an excellent dinner earlier in my stay—and falls short of their own stated mission: "to create spaces offering ultimate comfort, enjoyment, and vitality."

    Quiet Hotel

    Stayed at the accommodation after visiting the Porsche Experience Center. It was very quiet and relaxing. The Chinese cuisine for dinner was absolutely delicious. I would love to stay here again.

    Both the service and meals were highly satisfying.

    Stayed for 2 nights with a breakfast plan that included pool access. The room felt a bit old but was very clean. Although it was a unit bath, the shower water pressure was strong. We only had dinner on the first night, but they kindly accepted our last-minute reservation. Ordered the steak course, which was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was a buffet with high-quality dishes. I would love to stay here again when visiting Kisarazu. Thank you!

    A relaxing and comfortable Hotel.

    I stayed at the accommodation to recover from the summer heat. The quiet environment and the relaxing atmosphere inside were very pleasant, and I fully enjoyed the Chinese dinner thanks to your consideration for my food preferences, leaving me completely satisfied. Thank you very much. However, there was one regret... When I had tea in the lounge, the cakes were sold out. Craving something sweet, I opted for pancakes instead, but unfortunately, they did not meet what I would expect from Okura's quality. Overall, it was a positive experience; please consider this matter for future improvement.

    I experienced the Okura quality.

    The building may not be new, but it has been adequately renovated, leaving a positive impression. The parking space did not feel cramped at all. I was thoroughly satisfied with the restaurant's dinner, breakfast, and lunch. Above all, I was deeply impressed by the staff's excellent service, truly living up to the Okura name. I regret not visiting sooner and look forward to returning during a more pleasant season.

    I stayed at the accommodation to relax. For dinner, I chose Chinese cuisine, but the barbecue visible from the room also caught my attention. The cheese chicken cutlet, minestrone, and pudding I had for breakfast were especially delicious. From the room, I could see the sea in the distance, which brought me a small sense of happiness. I will visit again.

    I decided to stay at...

    I decided to stay at the accommodation this time as I enjoyed the lunch during my previous visit and wanted to relax. First, I had cake and tea in the lounge, and the caramel cream puff was delicious. For dinner, I opted for a smaller portion, but since the bread was so tasty and refillable, I ended up feeling full. At breakfast, it was a bit disappointing that the self-serve pudding had run out, but overall, everything was well-seasoned and delicious. I also tried using the sports gym within Academia; it felt surrounded by greenery, which was nice—I just wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy it more. It was a relaxing experience overall. I'll definitely stay at this accommodation again!

    There were some good points, but...

    Stayed in the cheapest room. The staff were all very kind, and the meal (Camellia) was delicious. However, the room cleaning was not great... The coffee cup was dirty, and the air conditioner had visible black mold. It was immediately noticeable. Why is it not cleaned? The hotel was quiet with a dimly lit parking lot, and there were only two other groups in the restaurant besides us. It might be good for a quiet stay.

    Elegant Hotel

    Located on a hill surrounded by greenery, this Hotel offers stunning views from the windows. While it shows some signs of age, luxurious furnishings and sofas placed throughout create a glamorous atmosphere. The lounge features high ceilings and large windows overlooking the courtyard, providing an open and relaxing space. We stayed in a Superior Twin Room, which was more spacious than typical city hotels, including the bathroom. The room also had a balcony, making it very comfortable. The Plan we chose included one night with two meals for just under 20,000 yen per person. Although we didn’t have high expectations for the meals at this price point, dinner was a full-course French meal and breakfast was a Japanese-Western buffet—both were authentic and highly satisfying. The hospitality was exceptional as well; truly worthy of Okura's world-class reputation. With its convenient location just an hour from Yokohama via Aqua-Line, I would love to stay here again!

    I stayed here to attend a nearby event. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations as there weren't many other options, but the Room was spacious, free of cigarette smell, and the bathroom area was clean, which made me satisfied. It’s understandable due to fewer guests, but I would have been happy if the bar had been open.

    This is a location where finding dinner options can be challenging.

    Located in the mountains, this is a quiet and secluded place. The facility feels dim and lacks energy as there are few people inside. The room was a spacious twin room used for single occupancy, equipped with a humidifier, which was appreciated. However, the building facilities are old. As expected of Okura's service, the staff provided excellent and refined hospitality. However, being in the mountains means limited restaurant options; within the facility itself, only Camellia on the 1st floor is available. Although there are three restaurants offering Chinese and Japanese cuisine among others, reservations must be made before check-in to avoid restrictions on dining at even one café-restaurant or becoming stranded for dinner options. I had dinner at Camellia on the 1st floor: Hamburger steak ¥2,700 and one glass of wine ¥1,000 felt expensive.
