    It was disappointing that the air conditioner wasn’t on when I arrived at the Room.

    The Hotel staff were very helpful. The location was also excellent, just outside the central ticket gates of JR Osaka Station. However, while it may be unavoidable, the Room felt quite old, with stained and peeling wallpaper. The amenities were also minimal. The bathroom, toilet, and sink are all in one space, but it was nice that the bath area had a three-panel glass sliding door.

    I will use this service again.

    The direct connection to the station was excellent. Despite the crowds at Osaka Station, I enjoyed a quiet stay without any disturbance. The service was also very good. I didn’t mind that the building isn’t new, but if the cleaning had been a bit more thorough, it would have been a perfect stay. I hope to stay again.

    There was no view at all (the Room faced another Room), and it felt suffocating. When staying in Umeda, I will choose a different Hotel.

    Because it’s located...

    Because it’s located inside the station, it was very convenient! The Room was clean. The staff’s service was excellent! When I come to Osaka, I’ll definitely stay here again.

    Excellent location

    On Sunday morning, I took a walk to Umekita Green Place. Surrounded by department stores, it’s also convenient for shopping at the food halls. I also visited a café on the first floor, and it was great.

    The breakfast buffet...

    The breakfast buffet was available without a Reservation and came with a discount, which was great. It would have been even better with a nicer view, but since it wasn’t on the 27th floor, I suppose that couldn’t be helped. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    An Urban Oasis

    The front desk staff were kind and courteous, which made me feel at ease. The location right by the station was extremely convenient, and I was able to fully enjoy Osaka. Next time, I’d like to take my time and enjoy the dining as well.

    Conveniently Located Hotel

    I always struggled to decide which area to stay in Osaka, but this Hotel made me feel that staying near Osaka Station might have been the right choice.

    Excellent convenience

    It was conveniently located right in front of Osaka Station. The Room was also spacious. It was a bit hard to find the entrance, and it was disappointing that there was no view at all, but the location was excellent so we were satisfied.

    Although we stayed during a three-day holiday weekend, everything was handled smoothly with no waiting time, from storing our luggage before check-in to the check-in and check-out procedures. The location is very convenient, close to the ticket gates. They also stored our luggage after check-out, and we were able to pick it up quickly in time for our train home, which saved us the trouble of looking for coin lockers. The Room was sufficient for one night. There were a few minor things that concerned us, such as stains on the carpet, but we would like to stay here again when visiting Osaka.

    The walls are thin.

    Since there weren’t many people posting a Review, I’ll write one. The walls are extremely thin—you can hear conversations from the neighboring Room, and even snoring. It’s not that the person next door is at fault, and it’s not that the Hotel staff are at fault either, but it felt like construction costs were cut too much. Of course, you can also clearly hear voices in the hallway. I don’t think this place is suitable at all for anyone who is sensitive to noise. The bathroom is fairly small, and the Standard Twin Room itself is also small. Maybe it’s different with a higher-grade Room… But between feeling uneasy about it and thinking it would be a waste to try on purpose, I don’t really feel like testing that.

    It was excellent.

    I stayed the night before a family event, and I was so satisfied that I wished I could have relaxed longer. The location is excellent—after arriving at Osaka Station by Shinkansen, I was already completely exhausted. It would be even more appreciated if guests could enter directly from the ticket gates on the 2nd floor, without having to go down to the 1st floor and then take the Hotel elevator up to the front desk. I also stayed on the Granvia Floor; would it be possible in the future to handle not only check-out but also check-in at the lounge? (For example, having staff assist with opening access for card keys.) I would be happy if you could consider this. I deducted one star each for the slow elevators and my dissatisfaction with check-in, but otherwise everything was excellent. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    I ended up with an older room.

    The plumbing fixtures were old, and although the Room had been cleaned, it didn’t feel truly clean. There was yellowing, dark stains, and patched wallpaper. Maybe this particular Room was just outdated. When I stayed in a different Room last time, there were no issues. This time it was so old it felt like the website photos were misleading. The bed was good, but there were no power outlets at all by the bedside. I was on the 24th floor, but I was surprised by how loud motorcycle noise was for a long time—even though they weren’t passing directly below. I could also hear noise from the next Room—more like a heavy thumping pressure sound—which made it hard to relax and left me exhausted. I don’t think this is a Room that should be sold without some refurbishment first.

    Conveniently located near the station, with a taxi stand just nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, and I had a pleasant stay. I plan to stay here again next week.

    The location is excellent. I usually get lost at Osaka/Umeda Station, but this place was so well located that it was impossible to miss. I stayed solo and only used it as a place to sleep. The lobby was very clean and nice, but after reception there were additional procedures at the check-in counter, where I paid the Accommodation Tax. The Room was clean, but compact, with the bed and bathroom/toilet close together. The window faced inward, so I couldn’t see any Osaka night views as I had hoped, which was disappointing. Daimaru downstairs has the Pokémon Center and Nintendo OSAKA, which was very convenient. The elevators take a while to arrive, though... Only one small pack of water is provided and extra water costs extra, so it’s a good idea to buy drinks at Don Quijote while you’re out shopping for souvenirs. It was helpful that there was a T-fal kettle.

    I booked this place just for the location and deeply regret it.

    I stayed for two nights to see a musical. On the first night, my daughter and I stayed at a newer Hotel near the station and were very satisfied. For the second night, I was on my own, so I made a Reservation here because I like department stores and wanted direct access to the station. The Hotel on a high floor looks luxurious at first glance, but I was disappointed as soon as I entered the Room. Everything is old. The photos on IKYU show renovated Rooms, but Rooms with poor views seem unchanged from long ago. The bathroom area—fixtures, tub floor, and walls—felt so dated it made me wonder what era this Hotel is from, and with no view from the window I felt like I was in a cell. The ventilation noise was loud, and the air conditioner was also noisy. I couldn’t relax at all, so I changed my flight for the next day and checked out early. There were visible handprints on the ceiling access panel as well, which made it even less comfortable. The Room was small, and additional water costs extra. I enjoy staying in Hotels ranging from luxury to budget options, and there are many budget Hotels that are clean and excellent. There are also many places where you can have water and drinks available all day. Since it was Saturday the price was high, but that quality at that price is unacceptable. There wasn’t even an outlet by the bed—I couldn’t charge my phone. I’m sure many people stay here because of the great location, but perhaps those Rooms with no view should be renovated as well.

    The location is excellent.

    A long-established Hotel directly connected to JR Osaka Station. I chose a Deluxe Single Room, thinking I’d enjoy a relaxing one-night stay while visiting home. Being on the 26th floor, the view was wonderful. However, perhaps because of its age, the Room overall felt quite worn compared with newer business hotels. The unit bath also showed its age and looked somewhat yellowed. What I found most inconvenient was the hot-water area with the refrigerator and kettle—it was dark because there was no light installed there! Even when trying to make coffee, it was hard to see what I was doing. I ended up carrying the whole set over to the window side to make coffee. Amenities were minimal; one bottle of mineral water was provided, but overall I honestly felt that No Meals Included for 20,000 yen was expensive. Still, for those who choose a Hotel primarily for location, it’s an excellent option.

    Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

    I stay here once a year when meeting old friends. The staff were very courteous, and I also enjoyed the breakfast, so I have no complaints. I would like to stay again next year as well, but there is just one thing. The black vertical holder near the TV that contains Hotel information seemed to have dust accumulated at the bottom. It may be difficult to clean frequently, but I would appreciate it if it could be cleaned regularly. Thank you very much.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    This was my repeat stay, and each time the view of Umeda from the room changes, I can really feel how much the area around Osaka Station continues to develop. With the front desk on the 19th floor, it felt calm and relaxing, and it’s very convenient for dining, shopping, and using JR trains. Despite being in a central location, I enjoyed a quiet stay.

    Excellent location

    Just one stop from Shin-Osaka. With direct access to Osaka Station, the location is unbeatable. Visiting department stores like Hanshin, Hankyu, and Daimaru was just as enjoyable as ever—something only this location can offer. The night view from the high floors was stunning and unforgettable. It was a memorable stay that really made me feel how much the area has changed.

    This was my first stay. It’s very convenient—about a 5-minute walk from the Maru Building, where the Itami Airport limousine bus arrives and departs, and it’s also directly connected to Osaka Station. It was extremely convenient for shopping, sightseeing, dining, and getting around. The luggage storage before check-in and after check-out was very helpful. The Room was a triple, but it was spacious enough. The staff were efficient and left a very positive impression.

    I thought it was a top-class Hotel, but...

    I accidentally left a small item behind. I emailed the Hotel two days after my stay but received no response, so I called. The young staff member who first answered said it had not been found without checking. When a supervisor took over, they apologized and said their staff training was inadequate, but also told me the item had already been discarded even though only three days had passed. I thought Hotels normally keep any potentially lost items for about two weeks. Very disappointing.

    The staff were a bit too attentive.

    An elderly guest from the countryside stayed here. It was very convenient because it is right near the station. I appreciate that a staff member escorted me to my Room and explained how to use the elevator and how to unlock the door. Even though I’m old, I can carry my own luggage. After repeatedly declining “Let me carry that for you,” I got tired of saying no and let them do it, thinking, “It’s your job, after all.” I am grateful, but for guests who prefer to manage on their own, it may feel like a bit of “overly attentive service.” I lowered my rating for the Onsen/bath category to 3 because it is not an Onsen—this is not due to any shortcomings. As for the bath, I was satisfied with the Facility and amenities. Thank you very much.
