Thank you for bringing us together.
My first time in Kofu, Yamanashi. I was truly impressed by this wonderful Hotel. The Room interior was beautiful, and the breakfast was excellent. It was so good I almost didn’t want to tell anyone about it. This time, I only stayed briefly to visit Takeda Shrine, but the location is convenient for sightseeing as well. I would love to stay here again next time. Thank you very much.

This Hotel offers excellent value for money.
The Onsen was a bit too hot. It was also a little disappointing that there is no sauna, and I wished there were a cold plunge bath. Overall, because there were fewer international guests, the atmosphere was calm and I could enjoy my meals comfortably, so I was satisfied. The Room had been renovated and was clean, with plenty of space. Unfortunately, since it was between rainy-season spells, Mt. Fuji wasn’t visible at all. It would be nice if there were some kind of service when Mt. Fuji cannot be seen. I also think it would be more helpful to provide clearer information about the hot-spring hopping pass at check-in or similar times. In the end, I adjusted my schedule and did the Onsen tour the next day, but I wanted to visit other Onsens on the day of arrival as well. I only learned about it from a female staff member at the restaurant.

Thank you as always.
Once again, my elderly mother and I had a wonderful stay. They always kindly accommodated our personal requests, and we were able to stay very comfortably. After checking out, we stopped by the shop in the lobby, which will be closing in April, because I wanted to buy my mother some clothes as a gift. She rarely buys new clothes for herself, so it took us quite a while to decide, but the female staff member supported her with trying things on and helped us throughout with a warm smile. As her daughter, I was truly happy. My mother was delighted as well, and we are very grateful for such an enjoyable shopping experience.

It was great.
The view of Mt. Fuji from the Room was amazing. The forecast said it would be cloudy, but it was perfectly clear. The Onsen was not crowded, clean, and very nice. It had been a while since my last stay, but it was excellent.

I will stay here again.
They kindly arranged a taxi for me before my stay and listened to any concerns, which made me feel at ease. The Room and the bath were both great. I would love to stay again.

Aging and deterioration
The interior and Facilities are showing noticeable wear and tear. It may be time to do some maintenance.

The meals were excellent.
I booked this accommodation because it was a last-minute trip at the end of the year, and I couldn't find a place that matched my expectations on other reservation sites. Since it was during the New Year holiday pricing period, I thought the cost was high compared to regular weekends, but I will comment without considering that factor. The meals, both dinner and breakfast buffets, had a wide variety of options and were generally tasty. However, there were some dishes that were disappointing after just one bite despite looking appealing. The menu seemed thoughtfully designed to cater to different ages and genders, which made it suitable for any group composition. Adding more live kitchen stations or introducing another unique feature might help attract more guests through reviews. Alcohol prices were high; while it's not necessary for alcohol to be included as free drinks in non-budget hotels, I felt the per-glass price was expensive even though it was self-service. Despite time restrictions on meals, perhaps due to current circumstances or fewer foreign tourists around this season, the dining area wasn't chaotic but rather quiet and enjoyable—a truly pleasant experience. The facility itself was spacious and comfortable. The coffee machine at the front desk had long operating hours and proved very convenient; many accommodations have such machines nowadays but often with limited usage times—this one stood out positively. However, regarding the onsen area (though not necessarily promoted as their main feature), there were constant footprints on the changing room floor and wet mats—likely partly due to guest manners—which left me disappointed. With many day-use visitors alongside overnight guests requiring chlorine disinfection for hygiene purposes (which is understandable), I found its smell overwhelmingly strong nonetheless. As for heating issues related perhaps partially due to older construction systems despite renovations—it felt excessively hot upon entering my room initially without adjustable temperature controls available inside rooms themselves; this made me wonder how summer guests managed under similar conditions. What disappointed me most involved cleanliness within my room: whether caused by cleaning staff oversight or sheer volume workload remains unclear—but finding stray hairs atop bedding covers plus sofa surfaces along with sticky uncleaned tables detracted from overall satisfaction levels significantly enough where calling staff crossed mind briefly before deciding against doing so given festive occasion context instead prioritizing relaxation over confrontation here ultimately still appreciated attentive service efforts shown elsewhere throughout stay overall thank you!

High Floor <Western-Style Room> Royal Suite with Mount Fuji View, 130 sqm
We stayed at the "High Floor <Western Style> Mount Fuji View Royal Suite (130 sqm)" with a one-night, two-meal plan featuring teppanyaki and black wagyu beef course to celebrate our parents' 77th birthday trip. We, the children, stayed in standard twin rooms. 【Room】 The suite was reasonably priced, which made our parents very happy. During the stay, we enjoyed tea in the spacious living room and had relaxing conversations while watching TV—perfect for a peaceful celebration of their milestone birthday. However, it was slightly disappointing that only two glasses and mugs were provided; having more spares would have been ideal for a suite room. Additionally, though I didn’t use it myself, my parents mentioned that adjusting the temperature in the shower booth of their suite was challenging—it took time to get hot water or sometimes turned cold during use. 【Dinner: Teppanyaki】 The course included appetizers, salad, seafood dishes followed by a choice between sirloin or filet black wagyu beef. While enjoying views of Kofu Basin's nightscape and watching the chef’s impressive skills up close, we had lively conversations over an excellent dinner experience. The anniversary dessert plate we requested was served at just the right moment—a thoughtful touch that added to our enjoyment! One minor downside was not finding coffee or tea options on the menu to pair with dessert; having drink choices would have enhanced this part further. 【Breakfast】 The breakfast buffet offered plenty of variety with fresh vegetables and satisfying options overall!

Stayed for one night on September 9th and another night on the 23rd.
Stayed for one night on September 9th and again on the 23rd. The Room was spacious and clean, and being placed on a higher floor really lifted my spirits. The view is simply amazing—you can even see Mt. Fuji! It's a bit of a shame that the bath and toilet are combined. The dinner buffet offered stunning night views, high-quality dishes, and attentive service from the female staff—it made me want to come back again! Seasonal fruits like Shine Muscat grapes and Kyoho grapes were delightful, but what stood out most were the fresh lettuce and tomatoes—so delicious that I had seconds for both dinner and breakfast. I visit Yamanashi Prefecture from Tokyo to care for my parents, and staying at this Hotel helps me recharge. I'll definitely return!

Father's Birthday
We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at Van Vert, a buffet restaurant with a view of Mt. Fuji. The wide variety of menu options made it fun to choose, and everything was delicious. Even my parents in their 70s were delighted, especially my mother, who loved the fruits and desserts like cakes. As we were celebrating my father's birthday, they prepared a birthday plate for him, making it a memorable occasion. The Room was a Deluxe Twin, spacious with comfortable sofas and beds. While some areas showed signs of aging, the satisfaction from the meals more than made up for it.

The most important Hotel in Kofu
Once the highest-ranked Hotel in Yamanashi Prefecture, it now shows signs of aging due to insufficient maintenance funds. I used the large bath early in the morning, but the floor cleaning was inadequate, with slippery spots scattered around, making it feel unsafe.

It was a calm and relaxing Hotel.
The bath is excellent, and the relaxation space after bathing is very comfortable. The 14th-floor lounge for breakfast offers a stunning view of Kofu city.

This was my third stay. I used a Japanese-style room as before. I had a comfortable stay, but the bathtub in the bathroom of this room felt less clean this time.

Rooms with a view of Mount Fuji are also available.
I stayed after a long time. It was a Japanese-style room, so I can only comment on that, but the futon didn't suit me and caused back pain. There was trash in the room, which surprised me. It was inconvenient as there were no USB ports. The front desk service was reliable. Amenities are selected in the lobby and brought to the room. The atmosphere is similar to a business hotel. The hotel's beverage vending machine was out of service, but there is a 7-Eleven located outside on the first floor.

Same-day Reservation
Last-minute accommodation. Made the reservation on the day of stay. Perhaps because of this, despite traveling with a young child (preschooler), none of the requested items were prepared. Elementary school children are charged 100% as adults, yet there were no beds or towels provided... Had to call the front desk from the room to request everything. The front desk staff, who seemed to be in training, responded with "We'll check" and called back later. Checked in late at night feeling tired, but even while in the room, extra beds and towels had to be prepared multiple times after arrival. The room was spacious. However, there was black mold in the bathroom; we didn’t use it though. In the public bath area, drainage wasn’t functioning properly—soap bubbles and water accumulated without flowing away, leaving dirty water around our feet... The breakfast buffet was average—neither good nor bad. Having a convenience store downstairs was convenient. There was a sincere apology during checkout; however, instead of just accommodating guests as they come based on reservations alone, I hope that guest details will be checked more carefully moving forward.

I was looking forward to the promised view of Mt. Fuji, but...
Unfortunately, there was no view of Mount Fuji. The room was spacious and very comfortable. However, there were no instructions at the front desk about the automatic curtain operation, which caused some trouble. When I asked about the mineral water at checkout, they said it had been forgotten to be placed in the room but did not offer any replacement. The buffet food was cold... Overall, while the staff worked hard, I felt that the balance between demand and supply could be improved. The Onsen had a smooth texture and was enjoyable.

It was a great accommodation.
To escape the heat of daily life, I searched for a cold spring Onsen in Kofu and looked for accommodation on IKYU. I booked a commemorative Hotel near the Onsen I wanted to visit. Initially planning just to stay overnight, I was very satisfied with both the spacious Room and the Onsen. The breakfast, which I thought would be light, turned out to be more than enough and very satisfying. For dinner, there were many restaurants nearby, so I reserved a yakitori place that also turned out to be excellent. It was a Hotel I'd love to visit again.

Thank you for your patronage.
I visited with my mother in her 70s. We chose a budget-friendly plan, so the choice of Japanese-style room or twin room, and smoking or non-smoking was left to the hotel. Since my mother has difficulty walking (she uses a cane but can walk on her own), I made a request during the reservation process for a "twin room, non-smoking," even though it might not be possible. Thankfully, on the day of our stay, we were provided with a spacious twin room near the elevator. My mother, who loves onsens, enjoyed bathing in the large public bath twice during our stay—once at night and once in the morning—and since our room was right by the elevator, moving around was easy and comfortable. She was very pleased as well. Thanks to the hotel's thoughtful consideration, we were able to create wonderful summer memories and are glad we stayed here. Thank you very much!

I had a great stay!
The staff were all very pleasant and made me happy. The front desk staff, the person who guided us to the elevator, and the restaurant staff all had wonderful smiles and were very polite. It’s amazing that everyone was so welcoming. The onsen was luxurious with water constantly overflowing. The washing area and bathtub were spacious enough, but when about six people used the washing area, there seemed to be some drainage issues as water occasionally flowed back around our feet. However, this didn’t happen at all when there were only 2-3 people using it, so it might be due to aging facilities. The room on the 7th floor was renovated with a modern design. It was spacious enough with an excellent view; on clear days, you could see not only the Southern Alps but also Mount Fuji. The night view was also enjoyable. Breakfast was buffet-style, and I was amazed by how delicious the Japanese side dishes were. The croissants were exceptional as well. Having "Ozara," a local specialty of Koshu cuisine, made me happy as I came looking forward to enjoying regional flavors. If I may make one suggestion: having a hand towel in the room would be helpful. While extra towels seem to incur an additional charge for eco-friendly reasons, after using towels in the onsen they became wet, leaving no towel available for drying hands in the room. Overall, it was an extremely satisfying accommodation experience!

I stayed here during my recent trip to Kofu. I had communicated various room requests over the phone in advance, and thank you for accommodating them! I was very satisfied with the room at that price! The facility may look old from the outside, but it was clean inside. The only concern was that the floor of the large public bath felt slippery. Overall, I am satisfied!

Very nice Onsen
The Facility felt slightly dated, but the service and Onsen were excellent. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so there were no major inconveniences. However, the covered parking spaces felt narrow for modern cars; it might be better to reduce the number of spaces and redraw wider lines. According to my wife, the drainage for bubbles in the women's bath was insufficient, but overall, it was a satisfying Facility.

It was comfortable.
Stayed during a family trip for summer vacation. The hotel feels like a revitalized version of a once-luxurious hotel, with spacious facilities overall. While some areas show signs of age, the well-maintained parts are comfortable and not unpleasant. The view is also excellent. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options. Bedding includes Tempur pillows, low-resilience futons (possibly Nishikawa), and lightweight down comforters, providing better sleep than at home. The onsen features large baths with gentle water that you can enjoy multiple times. All the staff were kind and attentive. The service strikes a perfect balance—no excessive frills but everything essential is well taken care of, making the stay extremely comfortable. Would love to visit again!

Couple's 55th Anniversary Onsen Trip
It was an Onsen trip for an elderly couple celebrating 55 years of marriage and my husband's 77th birthday. As it is called a "Memorial Hotel," we were delighted with the various celebrations arranged for us. The view from the room was great, and the meals were delicious. The staff were wonderful, making it a truly enjoyable trip. We would love to visit again for another special occasion.

On vacation to see Mount Fuji
I visited to see Mount Fuji with my wife during our vacation. There were many staff members wearing "In Training" badges, possibly due to timing. However, they worked hard and created good memories for us. The prepared Room was different from what was shown at the time of booking. It was disappointing as it did not match our expectations. Overall, I rated it as average, but the dedication of the staff deserves full marks.

Enjoyed the view of Mount Fuji from the 12th-floor Room and the breakfast buffet.
We were upgraded to a room with a view of Mt. Fuji. We enjoyed the changing scenery as the clouds came and went. Being a bit of a train enthusiast, I was delighted to see the Chuo Line's Azusa Limited Express and the charming two-car local trains crossing over Arakawa River. In the evening, we decided to check out the view from the 14th floor and discovered Van Vert, the dining venue visible from the elevator hall. The open atmosphere convinced us to request breakfast at their buffet for the next morning, even though we hadn't made a reservation initially. Everything was delicious—there wasn’t anything we didn’t want to eat! From freshly made omelets prepared right in front of us, yurinchi chicken, Chinese sticky rice dumplings, slightly spicy curry rice with an adult twist, simmered eggplant in country-style seasoning, watermelon, and French dressing for salads—it was all delightful. The onsen public bath was bright and clean, making it very comfortable. When we arrived by car at valet parking, staff promptly brought out carts for our luggage and carried them up to our room efficiently. The front desk staff were quick yet courteous in their service; wherever we went—whether at meals or elsewhere—the staff attended carefully to every need with great hospitality. Our entire family agreed that when visiting Kofu again in the future, this is definitely where we'd like to stay!

The room was spacious and comfortable. The distance from the station was a bit inconvenient. It would have been nice to have an outlet next to the bed. The meals were varied and delicious. Having tomato juice would have made it even better.

Buffet Upgrade
I visited to celebrate my mother's birthday. I was very impressed with the room upgrade and the dessert plate. Above all, the buffet was upgraded, and everything was delicious. The pork with citrus sauce was especially exquisite. The breakfast was also elaborate, making me want to visit this Hotel again. Thank you very much!

The breakfast was delicious, but...
The breakfast buffet is delicious. The omelets are fluffy and creamy, and the bite-sized cakes are moist and soft. The staff work efficiently from early in the morning and leave a good impression. However, the room was disappointing. The bathroom had mold, and there was an old wall-mounted shampoo dispenser that seemed unused but still left hanging with mold around it—unsightly to say the least. If it's not in use, it should be removed. There were also cracks on the walls. The provided hairdryer felt like a toy, and when I went to the front desk to rent a high-quality one (as they mentioned), they were all out of stock. Had I known about this beforehand, I would have brought my own from home. Only one towel per person is provided—you even have to bring it with you if you go to the Onsen! The TV operates on an outdated card system reminiscent of decades past; while some hotels now offer DAZN or Netflix access, this setup feels like a relic of another era—though perhaps rare in its own way. For what we paid for our stay here, even a budget Business Hotel costing just a few thousand yen per night would have been better value for money. This experience did not justify its price at all—I will never stay here again!

I decided to make a reservation at this hotel on the same day. As a result, it turned out to be a very nice accommodation. The room and onsen were kept very clean, allowing for a comfortable stay. Despite our personal circumstances, you kindly accommodated our room requests, for which we are truly grateful. I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much!
