    Satisfied but with some dissatisfaction about the Room.

    I stayed with my elementary school-aged child at the accommodation. We arrived about two hours before check-in, left our luggage, and headed straight to the pool! It was not crowded, the changing rooms were clean, and my daughter was very excited and satisfied! After that, we checked in and entered our room. While I was aware of the facility's age beforehand, there were some issues with cleanliness. First, when opening the bathroom door hinge area? There was a lot of dust accumulated there. It’s not visible when closed but seeing it was disappointing. Also, perhaps due to being a wet area, there was an unpleasant damp smell that made it difficult to use the sink or toilet without holding my nose. The kettle already had water inside when we arrived; however, I wasn’t sure if it was clean water or not. So I emptied it out and used bottled water instead for boiling. The time taken for boiling surprised me as it took much longer than expected compared to what I'm used to at home using electric kettles. When trying coffee later on - unfortunately found debris stuck inside one provided cup which led me deciding against drinking altogether. Lastly noticed discomfort during bedtime caused by lumpy pillows making sleep unpleasantly rough experience though another bed’s pillow seemed fine comparatively speaking. Dinner included meal vouchers redeemable within Yurakujou dining facilities where food quality exceeded expectations both taste-wise alongside portion sizes leaving us fully satisfied overall experience-wise here too!     Request

    This was my first stay with my wife. The front desk staff were polite and provided excellent service. However, it was a bit disappointing that the restaurant only offered buffet options. We had hoped to enjoy a leisurely à la carte meal! We enjoyed the spa facilities, but the quality of the food was quite poor. We would like to visit again, so we kindly request improvements in dining options within the hotel. Thank you!

    Question for IKYU.com

    When I initially made the reservation, I chose Local Payment. Two days ago, I received an email from IKYU.com stating that if I switched to card payment, I would get a discount of 1,218 yen. However, after switching to card payment, the amount turned out to be higher than the Local Payment amount. Could you please explain why this happened?

    I had a comfortable stay.

    This is my third stay while visiting my hometown. It was a bit disappointing that the neighboring property has become a heavy equipment storage area, but overall, it was a satisfying stay. I will use this Hotel again.

    Purpose of Stay at Yutaki Castle

    The Facility has been minimally renovated. Both the Room and the premises were thoroughly cleaned, ensuring a comfortable stay. The front desk staff provided clear and helpful service. We were also satisfied with our stay as we could use the indoor pool even after check-out. Please note that buses to the airport and city center run infrequently, so be careful not to miss them. The only disappointment was that the water in the tank of the requested humidifying air purifier was old and had an unpleasant smell.

    I stayed at the accommodation looking forward to enjoying Yurakujo. The pathway to Yurakujo had leaks from the rain. The onsen's stone sauna was surprisingly low in temperature, making it seem safe to bring a phone inside, though there were no charging outlets available. There is an additional fee for stone sauna wear. I spent my stay with just one yukata provided. There was a show that could be enjoyed even during meals, and although the outdoor fountain show was cold, it was beautiful. Overall, while efforts are evident, something felt missing and lacked excitement. The sparse crowd seemed understandable somehow. The onsen is small considering the size of the facility and may not be ideal for spending an entire day there. It might be more suitable for families with children. The hotel itself was average. Breakfast options were limited without any standout dishes. However, the shuttle bus service was appreciated.

    Not recommended.

    There are many Chinese guests, and it can be noisy. The meals are not delicious. The facility is outdated. It might be better to just visit the nearby Yurakujou Onsen. There is no value in staying overnight here.

    The bath is enjoyable.

    The bath at the adjacent Yurakujo was spacious with many washing areas, which was nice. The rest area had a festival atmosphere, and I think you can enjoy it for a whole day. As for the Room, since it's an old Facility, it can't be helped, but I felt there were few outlets and not enough places to charge devices. Since we checked in during the evening and were in a rush, next time I'd like to take my time soaking in the bath for a whole day. Thank you very much.

    I stayed at a hotel ...

    I stayed at a hotel I had been interested in for a while during the long weekend with a great deal on No Meals Included. The room was a twin in a separate building, and although the facility is old, it was clean and spacious, which was nice. (The accommodation cost felt roughly as expected) This time, since it was No Meals Included, I used Yurakujou for bathing and dining, which was also relaxing and pleasant. Yurakujou is about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, so wearing a coat is essential in winter! The gym and pool seemed well-equipped too, so I'd like to try them next time.

    Attractive pricing

    Although it was old, it was clean and nice. It was inconvenient because there were no power outlets by the bedside, possibly due to its age, so I couldn't charge my smartphone. It said free Wi-Fi, but it was almost unusable.

    Yurakucho

    The meals were very good, but the streetlights between Yurakujou and the Hotel turned off early, making it dangerous to walk from Yurakujou to the Hotel. The attitude of the staff at Yurakujou was not very pleasant. It would be beneficial for them to learn a bit about customer service.

    Check-in

    I used this hotel for an overnight stay due to an early morning departure from Narita Airport. The parking is free for two weeks, making it very reasonable. I checked in around 10 PM, but it took about 30 minutes to wait in line for the procedure. There were quite a few hairs stuck in the bathtub, so I switched to using the shower. It's a bit disappointing given its convenience.

    The all-you-can-eat crab is salty.

    Stayed for a few days for the all-you-can-eat crab. The crab on the first night tasted incredibly salty, like drinking saltwater. It improved from the second day onwards, so there might have been a mistake in the cooking method.

    *There is no large public bath*

    The business hours of Yurakujou are from 13:00 to 22:00 (last entry at 21:00). It is not recommended for those returning home at night after a long flight. I was very disappointed because I went there thinking there was a large public bath. My husband and I arrived at Narita Airport from Warsaw around 18:00 and made a reservation because our home is far away and we wanted to relax in the bath. After picking up our luggage, we missed the 19:05 shuttle bus and took the last bus at 20:35, arriving at the hotel around 21:00. We checked in and received a one-time ticket for Yurakujou from the hotel staff and heard the business hours mentioned at the beginning. I was disappointed that there was no large public bath, no time to relax, and no bath in the morning. Although it was past the last entry time, the staff kindly contacted Yurakujou for us. We hurriedly ran for about 3 minutes along the outdoor path lined with numerous flags and Chinese banners and handed the entry ticket to the onsen facility staff. The receptionist informed us, "This time it's okay because we received a call from the hotel, but from next time, you cannot use it after 21:00." Already disappointed that we couldn't take a leisurely bath, I entered the facility thinking (I will never come again). The bath was neither spacious nor clean, just an ordinary onsen facility. We were told that the changing room would close at 21:50, so I thought I would get out of the bath by 40 minutes and hurry to get ready. However, at 21:35, Hotaru no Hikari played loudly, and the staff came in saying it's over! and we were made to leave the bath. As for the guest room, it was old but clean, leaving a good impression. However, a half-drunk can of coffee was left in the refrigerator. Including the aforementioned issues, I thought it was unacceptable and decided to post this.

    I was able to refresh!

    Visited with my mother to celebrate her 60th birthday. Many of the staff at the front desk and restaurant were foreigners, but they spoke Japanese well and provided courteous service, which was appreciated. The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet was delicious! I was surprised that the Onsen facility was in a separate building, but the staff there were also kind, and the facility itself was well-equipped and very enjoyable! Thank you very much!

    It was better than I expected. I would like to use it again.

    I visited because I had business in Sakura City the day after my stay. Being accustomed to hotels, I have become unsatisfied with unit baths and started seeking hotels with washing areas or large public baths. Yurokujo was interesting, especially the fountain show. The ceiling projection mapping was also nice. Although it is next to your hotel, since both are large buildings with gardens, moving around in winter might be unexpectedly cold. Still, it would be more convenient than staying at a hotel with only a unit bath and going to a public bathhouse elsewhere. Since it was early in the morning, I had breakfast with the bread I brought, but I heard there is a light meal cafe open from early morning in addition to the buffet, so I would like to try it next time.
