A family-friendly Hotel where you can stay with peace of mind

We stayed here for a family trip during Golden Week (including our 2-year-old daughter). [Location] It’s away from central Karuizawa, so it may be inconvenient for those who want to spend all their time in the town center. However, it’s surrounded by lush greenery, and we even spotted a wild fox while driving. It’s a great fit for people who plan to base themselves at the Hotel and go out by car occasionally. Since our daughter is still small and we weren’t looking to be very active, it was perfect for us. Because it’s outside central Karuizawa, there was no traffic at all even during Golden Week. [Room] We stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room, which is incredibly helpful when traveling with children. We could lay out futons on the tatami area to sleep. I understand it may not work with the design, but it would have been nice if the Japanese-style and Western-style areas could be separated into two rooms with sliding doors or similar. The Hotel had just been renovated and was very clean. There is also a kids’ room, and our daughter had a great time playing there. [Bath] The baths were spotless (including the changing area), spacious, and excellent! There were indoor baths, a bubble bath, an open-air bath, a sauna, and even a mist sauna—wonderful facilities. Our daughter used the in-room bath, and baby soap was provided as well. [Meals] Both breakfast and dinner were buffet-style. The Joshu beef roast beef was amazing!! However, since we stayed for three nights and the menu was basically the same each day, we did get quite tired of it by the third time. I mentioned that it was my birthday in the comments section when making the Reservation, and they surprised me with a birthday dessert plate at dinner—I was so happy. Thank you very much. This is a Hotel I’d love to stay at again when visiting Karuizawa!! Thank you so much for taking care of us.
