This is a wonderful, classic Hotel.

First of all, the staff were very professional—truly a classic Hotel. The Room windows were polished so you could fully enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Fuji, and the chairs and balcony bench were arranged so you could relax comfortably. It was spacious and quiet, and I felt like staying in the Room all day. There was also a great selection of amenities, and the refrigerator was stocked with plenty of drinks. Dinner was Japanese cuisine—a wonderful course featuring local ingredients. The atmosphere was lovely, and it felt like a place where you’d want to dress up a little. At breakfast (both buffet and Japanese set), there were people lining up early and the entrance area felt hectic, so I think introducing time slots would help preserve the elegant Hotel atmosphere. The garden is vast, and it’s enjoyable to stroll around. Next time, I’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay and visit the restaurants and lounge I didn’t get to this time.
