    Perfect for families.

    We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with our 2-year-old. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we didn’t feel it was too crowded, allowing our child to enjoy the stay comfortably. We are grateful for the kindness of the staff. Although the beach is a bit far, it was very beautiful.

    Enjoy the spacious sandy beach

    Located right in front of a stunning sandy beach, making it incredibly valuable. I once saw this beach from the island across and always wanted to stay here. It was great.

    Unfortunately.

    For the past 10 years, I have visited Tokyu Hotel annually, but it no longer feels like a Resort Hotel. Overall, the Room was not very clean, and a torn anti-slip mat was placed in the bathroom. The variety of towels and amenities has also decreased. Considering the price, it was very disappointing. At the breakfast venue, there were not enough dishes available, and food replenishment was slow. I plan to make a Reservation at another Hotel next year.

    The accommodation shows signs of aging as expected. There is only one key, the bathtub is small, the room wear is tight, and the rice at the restaurant is not good. Compared to the hotel I stayed at until the previous day, it falls short in many aspects. While it seems to have a high grade, overall, I would not recommend it.

    My first visit to Mi...

    My first visit to Miyako Island and my first stay at Tokyu. Although it was the rainy season and I couldn't fully enjoy the Miyako Blue sea, I still appreciated the beautiful ocean view from my Room. The white, powdery sand was pleasant to walk on barefoot, and the water's clarity was truly impressive. While the Facility is not brand-new, its excellent location, spacious grounds, and breezy interior gave it a feel similar to beach resort Hotels overseas. I dined at both the buffet and Japanese restaurants; both were delicious. The Japanese restaurant skillfully incorporated local ingredients, offering great value for money. The shop was conveniently open from early morning until late at night for souvenir shopping, and there’s also a convenience store available. All staff members were sincere and very pleasant to interact with. Close to both the airport and town yet offering a relaxing resort atmosphere—it’s a wonderful Hotel overall. I’d love to visit again during a non-rainy season!

    Revisiting After Five Years

    A long-awaited trip to Miyako Island brought us to Tokyu Hotel on the last day, as per my family's request to visit Yonaha Beach. The food at the Japanese restaurant Yaebishi was delicious, and the staff's hospitality was excellent. The Room and Facility were clean and comfortable. However, it was disappointing to see that the beautiful beach we had looked forward to had significantly diminished over time, with little trace of its former charm at Yonaha Beach. We learned that this is due to sand being washed away by tidal currents. It seems Okinawa Prefecture is investigating and working on measures, and we hope the beach will return to its former glory someday.

    This is a must-stay Hotel to fully enjoy Miyako Island.

    Since the pandemic has settled, I have been visiting twice a year for the past four years to see the stunning Miyako Blue in person. Once you experience the beauty of Yonaha Maehama Beach on Miyako Island, you'll be captivated. This Hotel is highly recommended for families, couples, and guests of all ages. If possible, consider a Multiple Night Stay to relax on the beach and fully enjoy the breathtaking Miyako Blue—it will surely be an unforgettable experience.

    Family Trip

    We stayed as a family. Although the Hotel is slightly dated, we had a very comfortable and satisfying stay. The staff's hospitality was kind and excellent. This Hotel is highly recommended for those with children. Thank you for your hospitality during our stay. We look forward to visiting again.

    Great location.

    Although I couldn't make it before sunset, I thought this hotel offered a beautiful view of the evening sun. The sandy beach within walking distance was as beautiful as the reviews mentioned, and there was a large banyan tree on the premises, making it enjoyable to explore. The room was spacious and clean, and the service was excellent. I felt it offered great value for money and would love to stay here again. Thank you!

    We enjoyed the beautiful Miyako Blue.

    We stayed for 4 nights on our first trip to Miyako Island. For 2 days, we used car-sharing services to explore the area, and on one day, we relaxed at the beach and enjoyed the beautiful sea. Although we heard that certain fish are not seen near sandy beaches, we were surprised when a fish called "Kotohiki" approached us even in shallow waters—it was very cute! Unlike the trendy white-and-blue flashy hotels, this accommodation had a calm atmosphere with landscaping that reflects its 40-year history. The view from our room was stunning—whether it was cloudy or sunny, it was so captivating that we couldn't stop gazing at it. While it's understandable, the softened tap water left a slippery feeling that took some getting used to for us. As a result, despite efforts to conserve water usage, it felt like more water was being used than necessary. Additionally, if you encourage guests not to request linen or towel replacements as part of eco-friendly practices, wouldn't it be fair to issue resort credits for those who opt out of these services? While we cooperated as much as possible during our stay and paid an all-inclusive accommodation fee, this aspect felt unsatisfactory. I mention this because I have experienced other island hotels offering such credits before. Since our return flight was early in the morning, we reserved a taxi in advance; however, no taxi showed up on time. We hurriedly contacted another company and managed to catch our flight safely. When speaking with another driver later on about this incident, they mentioned that some drivers in Miyako struggle with waking up early—a reminder to be mindful of "island time" and "island ways."

    Stayed for 2 nights ...

    Stayed for 2 nights from April 3rd in a Standard Twin Room. Upon entering the room, there was a noticeable odor. Additionally, the bathroom and toilet were combined (I admit I didn’t notice this when making the Reservation). I called to request a Room change, but unfortunately, there were no available Rooms, so we had to endure it. My family and I discussed how surprising it is that such Rooms still exist even in standard types these days. The breakfast the next morning was slightly limited in variety but both the buffet and Japanese-style breakfast were delicious. The bitter melon juice and pineapple from the buffet were especially tasty—very enjoyable as they felt distinctly Okinawan! After returning from our activities, we found that while housekeeping had been done, there were hairs left behind and overall cleanliness was lacking—disappointing. The Hotel has an excellent location with a beautiful beach right in front of it—a fantastic view! While it’s an older Hotel, my family thought that improving cleanliness and properly repairing areas needing attention could make this place much better. A Room with a combined toilet and bath is quite rare nowadays too. It seems like they are constructing a new building; however, focusing on immediate improvements might also be important for enhancing guest experiences.

    Spacious and comfortable Room, perfect for enjoying the sea!

    Reserve a Japanese-Western style Room. Both Japanese and Western restaurants offer great taste, excellent value, and outstanding service. Relax in the room by stretching your legs on the tatami mats. Enjoy a spacious and comfortable room equipped with a foldable laundry drying pole for convenience. After enjoying marine activities at Yonaha Maehama Beach, you can borrow beach towels and use the outdoor warm shower to rinse off sand before returning to your room, making cleanup easy. This Hotel provides a pleasant resort experience. Additionally, Tokyu members benefit from late check-out services, which is very helpful. Highly recommended for families with children, couples of all ages, or anyone looking for comfort!

    I was surprised at the breakfast venue.

    I have stayed at this hotel several times and generally had good experiences, but this time I was shocked by the extremely undercooked omelet served at breakfast. When I asked for it to be cooked again, the staff's attitude was surprisingly unpleasant. It seems I just happened to encounter an unfortunate staff member. The staff at Yaebishi and Moon Shell were very kind and accommodating.

    A Hotel You'll Want to Visit Again and Again

    This was our second stay at this accommodation in two years, and it’s the kind of hotel that makes you wish for a longer stay even after just one night. From the room, you can enjoy a stunning view of the blue ocean at Yonaha Maehama Beach, and lying on the bed offers an unparalleled view of nothing but the sea. During our previous 3-night stay, our children became familiar with where everything was located and were excited to see what color hibiscus would be displayed in the large pot at the entrance this time. The pot and hibiscus decorations remained unchanged, allowing us to appreciate their timeless charm once again. The beautifully maintained garden, abundant greenery, and how it seamlessly connects to the blue ocean are truly breathtaking. Our family often struggles during trips due to our children's severe food allergies; however, both during our last visit and this time as well, we received incredibly thoughtful care from staff members here. Despite not being charged restaurant fees for preschool-aged children, they accommodated us with great attention without any hesitation or discomfort—so much so that we felt apologetic for their efforts! We hope to visit again when we return to Miyako Island in the future. The staff were all very pleasant and maintained a perfect balance in their service approach that made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We look forward to visiting again during a time when we can enjoy watching your staff perform Eisa dancing!

    It was a very enjoyable trip.

    We stayed with three generations of our family, including three infants, and the hotel staff were very kind, making it a wonderful trip. The water in the room is softened hard water from Miyako Island, but it leaves a feeling as if soap hasn't been fully rinsed off. For children's baths, it can be slippery underfoot, so borrowing a bath chair might be safer.

    Miyako Blue is the best!

    Surrounded by warm people and gentle breezes, I enjoyed blissful moments while admiring the beautiful Miyako Blue. To experience different atmospheres, I stayed multiple nights in both the Ocean Wing and Coral Wing. From the very first day, I was lucky to spot sea turtles on a glass-bottom boat ride in the stunning Miyako Blue waters! The Japanese breakfast's "Aoten no Hekireki" and Western breakfast curry were delicious! Personally, though, I found the water didn't quite suit me. I also had dinner within the Hotel; enjoying live performances of sanshin music and songs enriched my heart. The expansive garden is beautifully maintained, and I'm looking forward to the new building opening in 2027. Tandigaatandi!

    It was a bit disappointing that there was construction.

    Upon arrival, there was a power outage, and it was unfortunate that the construction from 9 AM to 5 PM was a bit noisy. It rained on the day we arrived, but the next morning it was cloudy, allowing us to take a walk on Yonaha Maehama Beach. Even though it was cloudy, the sea was blue. We planned to take a taxi to town but couldn't find one; however, the shuttle service staff kindly suggested going to the airport where taxis were available. Thanks to them, we were able to catch a taxi at the airport and make it in time for our reservation at an izakaya. We are grateful for their help. Encountering Shisa (Shiisaa) in kimono at a souvenir shop also became a memorable experience.

    The location was excellent, and I was able to relax.

    Used for a solo trip during the off-season. The ocean-view Room was spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed using the spa and relaxing at the wonderful Maehama Beach. I spent 2 nights and 3 days leisurely within the Property grounds. The staff's service was excellent. I would love to stay again.

    A long-established Hotel with a good location.

    The private beach is right in front, making it very convenient for use during the season. Although the building's age cannot be denied, you can feel the unique atmosphere of Okinawa. Since we stayed during the New Year period, we enjoyed countdown parties and New Year's events, experiencing Okinawan music, which made us feel like we were truly in Okinawa.

    The beach is simply the best.

    I spent four days from New Year's Day, and perhaps because of the 40th anniversary, there were events every day, including live violin performances, and the content was all wonderful. Also, the staff were all kind and friendly, making it feel like it wasn't my first visit. The room, although a bit aged, was comfortable with no stress thanks to the shower's water pressure and the deep sink. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, but it was a bit disappointing that it was narrow and lacked chairs (perhaps other rooms had them). The buffet at "Niraikanai" was good, but the rice at "Yaebishi" was cooked with "Aoten no Hekireki" and was incredibly delicious. The fish and small side dishes were also tasty and very satisfying. The most impressive part was the Yonaha Maehama Beach spreading out in front of the hotel. I will attach a photo, but I have never seen such a beautiful beach in my life. Depending on the time of day, you can also see fish. I didn't use it this time, but there was a tent sauna on the beach, and it seemed possible to swim in the sea even in winter, so I would like to try it next time. I definitely want to come again. I chose this hotel because of the high reviews, and it lived up to them.

    Satisfied.

    The welcome upon arrival, the smiles and service of the staff at the restaurant were wonderful. When I returned to the Room after breakfast, it happened to be cleaning time. They cleaned very thoroughly. The beach was also close, perfect for a walk, and I enjoyed the scenery. The glasses in the Room were Ryukyu glass, which enhanced the Miyakojima feeling. I had a little trouble with the bathroom lock, but it was a very comfortable stay. I would definitely like to use it again next time.

    It was a wonderful H...

    It was a wonderful Hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, everything was delicious. At night, I went to the BAR. It was very delicious and I was impressed. Orion Beer was extremely tasty. The sea was beautiful and I walked along Maehama Beach every day. It was a wonderful 4 nights and 5 days. I will use it again. Thank you very much.

    It really makes me feel at ease.

    I had planned for a two-night stay, but due to work, it became one night. Thanks to canceling golf, I was able to relax. When I was having trouble because I couldn't reserve a taxi due to the cruise ship being in, the staff arranged various things for me.

    Wonderful

    This time, I chose a room with a view bath for the first time. The beautiful sandy beach, sea, and Kurima Island were clearly visible from the room and while bathing, which was wonderful. There was also a value set for dinner, which was reasonably enjoyable. The original cocktail with banana was also delicious. For breakfast, the soy milk bread with brown sugar butter and kinako was so tasty that I had seconds multiple times. Once again, I thought that the Tokyu Hotel in Miyako Island is the only choice.

    It was comfortable even in the rain!

    This was my first visit to Miyakojima. Although the weather wasn't favorable, I was still amazed by the milky green color of the sea. This trip was a family vacation to celebrate my 60th birthday, and when I informed the Hotel staff about it, they kindly considered it for our Room, which made me very happy. I heard it's the 40th anniversary this year, but the Hotel was well-maintained, and I didn't feel its age. However, the laundry Room felt a bit dated. We only had breakfast, but we could choose from two restaurants every morning, and we tried both. Personally, I preferred Yaebishi. It was a calm place to enjoy a meal, and the rice cooked in a pot was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend it! The side dishes on the tray and the half-buffet dishes were all very tasteful. I thought it would have been even better if they had the "Goya Smoothie" from Niraikanai. In the evening, we also visited BAR Moon Shell. Besides tropical cocktails, we all had Miyako soba, and my son said it was the best soba he had since arriving in Miyakojima. We also went to the beach during a brief sunny spell between clouds and rain. It was a truly beautiful beach with pure white sand and not a single piece of trash. Although we could only stay for about 30 minutes due to the rain, we still enjoyed the extraordinary experience. The beach towel rental was also a nice touch. If I have the chance to visit again, I would definitely like to stay at this Hotel. It was comfortable even in the rain! Thank you for taking care of us. We appreciate it. On a side note, while taking a walk on the nearby Kurima Bridge during a sunny spell, we encountered a sea turtle! Just for this, I felt it was worth visiting Miyakojima!

    It was supposed to be a sea view...

    When making a reservation six months prior to the stay, I requested a "high-floor sea view room" as much as possible, but in reality, it was a room on the 3rd floor, and moreover, it was the room at the very end of the building farthest from the front. I thought I could get a full view of the sea from the balcony window, but half of it was hidden by buildings and trees, and the sea was barely visible, which was disappointing. Since there was no contact from the hotel until the day of the stay, I had some expectations, but I felt completely betrayed. I cannot recommend it.

    The resort feeling was abundant as the sea could be seen directly from the Room's balcony. It was also nice that the bathroom and toilet were separate. Being able to gaze at the starry sky from the rooftop was also a plus. It became a Hotel I would like to visit again.

    Great satisfaction

    The location right in front of Yonaha Maehama, along with the design and atmosphere of the building itself, is wonderful and truly makes you feel like you've arrived on a southern island. Despite being 40 years old, it is very well maintained and does not feel outdated. The staff were all smiles, making our stay very pleasant. I would definitely love to stay here again.
