    A suitable Hotel

    Neither good nor bad. I don’t think there were any particular issues for staying overnight. However, the breakfast area was extremely crowded. The temporary buffet setup for breakfast also felt like a school cafeteria serving line, which took away the special feeling of being on a trip. It might have been better if the venue had been different.

    Family Vacation with Your Grandchildren

    As someone who has moved frequently for work, I often stayed at Hotels near Disneyland when I lived in Tokyo and visited Disneyland many times. When I lived in Osaka, my wife and I bought annual passes for USJ and went often as well. After returning to Fukuoka, I decided to visit Huis Ten Bosch for the first time with my grandchild who had come back home from the Kanto area, and we chose Hotel Nikko Huis Ten Bosch because of its excellent location. The smiles and kindness of all the floor staff and lobby staff felt truly warm, and my wife and I agreed that we would love to stay again if we have the chance. P.S. We also had breakfast, and every dish was delicious—it was a very satisfying breakfast time. Extremely satisfied!!

    This Hotel is highly recommended if you are visiting Huis Ten Bosch.

    We stayed overnight to visit Huis Ten Bosch. From the morning of check-in, we were able to park our car and have our luggage stored. There was a dedicated gate for Hotel Nikko, and the entrance/exit was close, which was very convenient. In the evening, we returned to our Room once to take a break, then went back to Huis Ten Bosch again. After returning tired after the park closed, the large public bath helped us relax and felt great. Breakfast was also very delicious, just as expected.

    Family Summer Vacation

    Our family stayed for two nights to visit Huis Ten Bosch. The Hotel was very close, making it easy to take a break during the day and stay out until closing at night. The large public bath was open late and helped us relax after a long day. We enjoyed the buffet for both breakfast and dinner; everything was delicious with a great variety, and our whole family was very satisfied. The staff were polite and attentive, which we truly appreciated. We would love to stay again.

    While the location is very convenient, the Facility is showing signs of age.

    With a dedicated entrance to Huis Ten Bosch, the location is highly convenient. The amenities are of a decent standard, but the property does feel somewhat dated. Many nearby hotels around Huis Ten Bosch are also showing their age, so I hope to see renovations and updates in the future.

    Good

    The location is excellent. We used the dedicated gate to enter the park many times. The automated luggage storage was smooth and very helpful, as we could use it right up until just before heading to the station on our way back. Also, the staff were very kind. Thank you!

    My first trip alone with my granddaughter.

    I visited Huis Ten Bosch with my 7-year-old granddaughter. On the first day, we enjoyed the Miffy show, the carousel, the Ferris wheel, and Shower of Lights. The Hotel was fairly close from Art Garden, and luckily a bus came by, so we were able to get back to the Hotel easily. On the second day, we decided to relax at the Hotel until check-out time. The large public bath in the morning was almost private, so my granddaughter could enjoy it without feeling shy. For breakfast, she made her own pancakes and ate them happily. Afterward, we had ice cream in our Room and she drew pictures of our fun memories. We spent a quiet and enjoyable time together. She had such a great time that she asked to stay at that Hotel again for her 8th birthday.

    I’m happy there’s a large public bath, but it gets crowded.

    I stayed with my 89-year-old mother. The bath was extremely crowded, possibly because it overlapped with the end time of a show. Not only my mother and I, but several guests had to stand naked and wait for a washing station to become available. Also, perhaps because our Room was near the smoking area, I was surprised by how strong the cigarette smell was when stepping out into the hallway. When I informed the front desk staff, they said they would address it immediately, but it was disappointing. Other than that, all of the staff were very hospitable, and we were able to spend a wonderful time together. Thank you very much.

    It was a comfortable and wonderful Hotel.

    We stayed as a couple to visit Huis Ten Bosch. Due to work, we checked in in the evening on the first day, then went to Huis Ten Bosch the next day and stayed another night, for a total of two nights. What we especially loved was the breakfast buffet. Everything was delicious, with plenty of local specialties and a wide variety of options, so we really enjoyed it! When entering Huis Ten Bosch, we were told that QR code tickets allow access through a dedicated entrance, but another Hotel staff member kindly suggested using the general entrance instead because there are lots of great photo spots along the way. The Room was very comfortable. The Room we stayed in had a view of the entrance building, and the scenery outside was beautiful as well. We used the large public bath, so we didn’t use the in-room unit bath, but the sink area was clean and easy to use. The courtyard was also lovely, and it was adorable to see this Hotel’s characters mowing the lawn. We would definitely like to stay again if we have another chance!

    Your First Visit to Huis Ten Bosch

    We chose the Hotel closest to the Huis Ten Bosch entrance. The Facility and amenities were very clean. For dinner, we ate at the Japanese restaurant Ajisai on the 1st floor of the Hotel, and the food was high quality and delicious. What we appreciated most was that there is a Hotel-exclusive entrance to Huis Ten Bosch just a 1-minute walk from the Hotel, so we didn’t need to go to the immigration building. This was especially helpful for us seniors (all three of us are over 70). After dinner, we re-entered the park and went shopping for Huis Ten Bosch goods. We were very satisfied.

    The bathroom feels a bit dated, but the Room didn’t feel that way as much. The shower pressure is on the weak side. Using the dedicated entrance to Huis Ten Bosch is close and convenient. We lined up for the breakfast buffet first thing in the morning. The Plan with Huis Ten Bosch tickets felt like good value for money, so we’ll probably choose Nikko again next time.

    Nagasaki Trip

    Upon entering the building, there was a faint pleasant fragrance. It was a compact standard-type Room, but the unit bath was also clean and I felt comfortable using it. I did not use the Onsen, so I cannot rate it. Breakfast offered a wide variety of local specialties, and I appreciated that the egg dishes were kept warm on an IH heater so they could be enjoyed hot. Everything was very delicious and satisfying. All of the staff were kind, and I had a comfortable stay.

    Huis Ten Bosch with my grandchild and daughters

    The staff service (front desk and dining area), the baggage storage system, and the walkway to Huis Ten Bosch were all convenient and smooth. My two daughters also said the Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The buffet offered local dishes that both children and adults could enjoy, and everyone ate until they were completely satisfied. Although there was a bath in the Room, having a large public bath meant we could all bathe together, which was fun—and a spacious bath is one of the pleasures of traveling, so we really appreciated it. The Room was bright and roomy, the bedding was comfortable, and we slept very well. Without worrying about our luggage, we were able to fully enjoy Huis Ten Bosch again the next day, then pick up our bags smoothly on departure and head to the station with ease. Just one thing: when I first used the toilet right after check-in, I noticed that part of it looked untidy—perhaps it had been done in a hurry or left from the previous guest—which was disappointing. It had been about 30 years since my last stay at this Hotel under this brand name, but it has evolved—cleaner and more convenient than before. I came with my daughter this time with my grandchildren as well; next time I’d like to visit again with friends. Thank you for your hospitality.

    It was comfortable again this time.

    This time, we stayed in a courtyard-side Room with a direct view of the park from the window, and we really enjoyed the scenery. In addition to the unit bath, there was a spacious vanity area right by the entrance with a chair, which was very convenient. Since I like to wash my hands with hand soap after using the toilet, it would be nice if hand soap could also be provided in the unit bath. The loungewear was made of sturdy waffle fabric and felt great to wear; the sleeves and hem were slightly shorter, making it comfortable. The design was cute as well, so I considered buying it, but unfortunately it wasn’t available in the shop. I also appreciated having two types of slippers—one for indoors and one for the large public bath. It was reassuring that the ones for the public bath were labeled as disinfected. The face soap bottle in the large public bath was broken, so I informed a staff member. Breakfast was delicious too. In Nagasaki, I especially love fried horse mackerel and castella cake, and it was great to see local items offered as well. The layout of the food selection had changed slightly compared with March—maybe just by chance—but I think it’s important to keep making improvements and adjustments. What stood out most about this stay’s service was a male staff member at the luggage area; he looked busy but still greeted us with a smile. The other front desk staff were polite as well. Good service alone can make both a Hotel stay and an entire trip into wonderful memories. I hope you will continue to be a Hotel that offers great value for money.

    This is a very good Hotel.

    We stayed here to visit Huis Ten Bosch. It’s right next door, with a dedicated entrance, which was very convenient. The large public bath was more spacious than expected, and we were able to relax. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant Ajisai inside the Hotel, and they kindly accommodated our requests, making the meal even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet also offered a great variety of dishes. All of the Hotel staff were pleasant and welcoming, so I’d give it full marks.

    The First Day of Golden Week

    I stayed at Hotel Nikko Huis Ten Bosch after taking two ferry connections from Kagoshima. True to the Nikko style, the building and décor feature a clean white theme, which felt familiar and similar to other Nikko hotels. The staff service left a strong impression. They kept us updated on how crowded the public bath and breakfast area were, which helped us avoid wasting time. Since it was during Golden Week and very busy, I didn’t expect that level of attentiveness, so their thoughtful support during peak hours really stood out. I had a heavy lunch (okonomiyaki and yakisoba), so I could barely eat at the dinner buffet. Still, I was able to look over the full selection, and it seemed more than enjoyable. For a hotel around Huis Ten Bosch, it offers great value for money, and I’d like to stay again. Unfortunately, due to heavy rain we ended up not entering the park this time; we relaxed at the hotel instead. Even so, walking around inside the hotel—and having access to a smoking area—was enough for us to spend our time comfortably. I believe this was thanks to the staff’s hospitality. Thank you very much for your courteous service. And thank you for all your hard work during such a busy Golden Week period.

    It was very good.

    This was my first stay in over 10 years. The facilities are a bit dated, but everything was well cleaned, so I had no issues. I was inconvenienced by the lack of USB ports in the Room outlets, but the front desk lent me a charger, which was very helpful. Huis Ten Bosch has an exclusive entrance for guests staying at the Accommodation, making it very convenient to enter right away or return to the Room to drop off souvenirs. One thing I noticed was that some of the housekeeping staff were wearing casual clothes. Since there were also staff in uniform, I could tell they worked for the Hotel, but depending on the situation it might not be obvious. It may be better to standardize uniforms for all housekeeping staff. Overall, I was satisfied with my Hotel stay. Thank you very much.

    The breakfast buffet was delicious.

    The breakfast buffet was delicious, featuring a menu that included local specialties. Unfortunately, we could only just barely see a small part of the Huis Ten Bosch fireworks, but the Hotel had great access to Huis Ten Bosch and was just right for a family stay.

    Our girls’ trip with my daughters turned into a wonderful getaway.

    I stayed with my two daughters—three of us total—with breakfast included. I had booked a ReFa Room as a surprise, and when we entered the room they were thrilled. The interior was adorable, and above all, the view of Huis Ten Bosch through the curtains was amazing, showing a different atmosphere at night and in the morning. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and all the staff greeted us with warm smiles. We said that when we come to Huis Ten Bosch again, we definitely want to stay at this Hotel again. We were able to relax and feel refreshed. Thank you very much.

    A clean and comfortable Hotel

    Having direct access to Huis Ten Bosch through a dedicated entrance was very convenient! Both the Room and the large public bath were clean and comfortable, and the staff were courteous, so we felt at ease throughout our stay. We also appreciated having a basic skincare set in the Room. The buffet-style breakfast was enjoyable, with a wide variety of options including local specialties. It may have been unavoidable due to the number of guests, but it was a bit disappointing that the coffee machine remained out of order and items like salad were temporarily empty. It was cute to see an automatic lawn mower working hard in the patio! It was a wonderful Hotel where we’d love to stay again.

    It was comfortable.

    Luggage storage is available before and after check-in. The mechanical lockers were a type I’d never seen before, and using a Suica card as the key was smooth and convenient. They also assigned me a Room on the 6th floor. Although parts of the building and wooden furniture show some age, everything felt clean. The Room interior was cute, calm, and very comfortable. In my Room, the coffee maker buttons took a bit of getting used to, so I couldn’t make the first cup properly. There was also one strand of hair left in the unit bath. Other than that, everything was comfortable. Given the price, I understand the unit bath setup; it wasn’t overly old, and amenities were sufficient. There was a basic skincare set including makeup remover, plus separate loungewear. You can go to the large public bath in loungewear. In addition to sandals labeled as disinfected for that purpose, there were also disposable slippers for use in the Room. The large public bath had towels (thinner than those in the Room), so there’s no need to bring them from your Room (it said to use one face towel and one bath towel per person). There was facial cleanser that also removes makeup, basic skincare items, body milk lotion, hair milk, etc. There’s no open-air bath, but it was spacious and relaxing. I only used breakfast dining. As Reviews said, the fried horse mackerel was delicious, and there were local dishes too—enjoyable overall. They also provide paper cups with lids for takeaway coffee. The staff were polite throughout, and I had a great stay. I’ve stayed at official Hotels before as well; however since I bought an annual pass (so I no longer need perks like next-day ticket service offered by some official Hotels when purchasing a one-day ticket), considering both price and how satisfied I was as noted above, I plan to stay here again next time.

    It may be the off-season, but.

    In mid-January, I visited Fukuoka and took a short trip to Huis Ten Bosch. The flowers weren’t in full bloom, but it was quiet and I enjoyed it. Since the Hotel is a bit far away, I got lost on the way back. The room was clean. I ate there for lunch as well, and the breakfast felt somewhat similar. The staff were kind.

    The large public bath and breakfast buffet were excellent.

    It was great being so close to Huis Ten Bosch, and I appreciated being able to relax and warm up in the large public bath after a long day of walking. The bath was fairly busy, but the tub was spacious enough that it didn’t feel crowded. The breakfast buffet was also enjoyable, with many dishes featuring local ingredients.

    On my first trip to Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki, I arrived at the Hotel in the afternoon after taking the train from Hakata. I was able to check in right away and fully enjoy the park. As expected, a Hotel next to the park is very convenient. I would love to stay at your Hotel again on my next visit. Thank you very much.

    The location is very good, but...

    Although it was listed as non-smoking, the Room had an unpleasant odor (not sure if it was cigarette smoke or a musty smell), so we spent some time with the window slightly open. Maybe it was coming from the air conditioner... We were very satisfied with the staff’s service and the convenient location near Huis Ten Bosch! The cake was delicious too!

    Huis Ten Bosch Christmas

    The breakfast buffet featuring Nagasaki's local "Jigemon" cuisine was excellent. The desserts like Castella and Kanzarashi, as well as the fluffy fried horse mackerel, were all delicious and enjoyable. The ability to re-enter Huis Ten Bosch is also a great perk. All the staff were very kind and helpful. Thank you very much!
