An accommodation that satisfies everything.
We were extremely satisfied with the excellent cuisine. Although it is already September, thank you for accommodating our request to enjoy the August menu. We are very pleased with both the accommodation's setup and hospitality. The familiar staff treated us so well that we had a truly pleasant stay. This Onsen accommodation, Kawasemi, is an irreplaceable part of my life. We will visit again.

There were various disappointing aspects, perhaps because I had high expectations. For an accommodation costing nearly 100,000 yen per person, the level was quite low. Amenities were limited, and there were no complimentary drinks in the room. Although meals were served in the room, alcohol service was slow and food took time to arrive, possibly due to a lack of staff. While premium ingredients were used, I felt their quality was not fully utilized. It turned out to be a disappointing stay.

I should have visited earlier.
Drawn by the invitation to "enjoy a meal with an overnight stay," we visited and it was exceptional. The happiness of savoring delicious food in the room, paired with the freedom to enjoy drinks without worrying about returning home, was unparalleled. The service was pleasant and stress-free. Both the interior and furnishings were exquisite, making it a very comfortable accommodation. We will definitely visit again. Next time, we are excitedly considering staying in either a detached room or one with a bed. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Exceptional hospitality and exquisite cuisine!
This was my second stay, and once again, it was a wonderful accommodation. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a bed on the second floor that made for a pleasant stay. The large public bath includes a sauna, and after bathing, there are complimentary small beers and yogurt drinks available—a delightful little treat. What impressed me the most was the food! Every dish was absolutely delicious, with attention to detail in both presentation and taste. I’ve stayed at various accommodations, but this place serves my favorite cuisine. The staff were incredibly kind as well. I always receive follow-up letters after my stay, which is such a thoughtful gesture. This time too, the same staff member who assisted us during our previous visit took care of us again—I believe they made special arrangements for this. I definitely want to visit again; this is an accommodation I can wholeheartedly recommend!

Stayed at the accommodation to celebrate a 77th birthday. It was an exceptionally comfortable and secure accommodation, perfect in every way. The meals were particularly creative and delicious. Celebrating both a golden wedding anniversary and 77th birthday with this memorable trip was truly special. I hope to stay here again in the future. Although it’s far away, I enjoy driving, so I’ll make an effort to visit as long as my health allows. It was truly a wonderful day!

A Blissful Moment
From the room, you can see a garden with singing warblers and hear the croaking of frogs from the pond, allowing for a relaxing time. The cuisine was excellent, not only in taste but also in the thoughtful pairing with beautiful tableware. This was my first stay, but it is an accommodation I would definitely like to visit again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Accommodation Kawasemi, a place I had long wanted to visit. With only 12 rooms, the facility is extremely quiet. During this season, you can hear nothing but the sounds of birds and frogs. A dedicated staff member provided attentive and kind service, even seeing us off until our car was out of sight. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented, and every dish was delicious. For a late-night snack, we enjoyed rice balls with plum and bonito flakes. I used both the large public bath and the private open-air bath attached to my room. The private open-air bath uses hot spring water that is quite hot, so I adjusted it with cold water while bathing. In this tranquil environment, I fully enjoyed an extraordinary experience. I look forward to visiting again in the future—thank you for your hospitality!

High satisfaction with food and service.
We stayed for two nights as a couple, hoping to contribute to the recovery of Fukushima. 【Customer Service】 The staff, including the attendants, were very polite and ensured we had no inconveniences. 【Meals】 The dishes were crafted using seasonal local ingredients, highlighting their natural flavors while showcasing the chef's artistry through both taste and presentation. Additionally, they accommodated our allergy-related requests after prior notice, with explanations provided by the attendant, allowing us to dine with peace of mind.

Spring Trip to Fukushima
I stayed in early April. Although the weather was rainy, the Japanese garden at the accommodation was very beautiful. The customer service was attentive to every detail, and the meals were beyond my expectations in taste. Next time, I would like to visit in autumn to see the garden's autumn leaves.

Completely satisfied.
I have been visiting at a pace of 2-3 times a year for nearly 20 years. The hospitality is impeccable, and I have never had an unpleasant experience. Both the staff and attendants provide exceptionally pleasant service. The cuisine is so satisfying that even after all these visits, I never tire of it—it perfectly suits our tastes. I especially look forward to the monthly special dishes. The facility undergoes fine renovations almost every year, offering subtle changes each time we visit. This time, I was deeply moved by the celebration of my birthday during our stay. Although it’s about a 500-kilometer drive from our home, as someone who has passed their seventies, I hope to continue visiting as long as I can still drive. Reservations are becoming increasingly difficult to secure each year, but I will do my best to complete the reservation whenever possible. We go on Onsen trips about 6-7 times a year; however, accommodations without any dissatisfaction are rare. "Onyado Kawasemi" is truly the only accommodation where we have no complaints at all!

This time, to celebrate my father's retirement, the three siblings gifted him a 2-night, 3-day stay. We knew he liked the place as we had visited several times as a family before, so we decided without hesitation on a place where the two could enjoy themselves. From the time of reservation, they were considerate of the celebration, prepared a gift, and even made a courteous call to confirm the reservation a week in advance. In today's world, where efficiency is prioritized, I felt the warmth of Japanese hospitality that I had forgotten. The food was as delicious as ever, and on their way home, they stopped by our house to report directly that they had a great time. They also mentioned that the autumn leaves visible from the room were very beautiful. I'm glad we gave this gift. If there is another opportunity, I would like to be the one to be taken care of next time.

The pinnacle of cuisine
I visited Kawasemi for the first time in 20 years. I was first surprised that it remains a wonderful ryokan even after the Tohoku earthquake and the COVID-19 pandemic. I believe the efforts of everyone at the ryokan are extraordinary. The cuisine was particularly astonishing. Without being confined to the boundaries of Japanese cuisine, they provided the most delicious dishes using the finest ingredients. Even a single item in the hassun was filled with surprise and emotion, with no shortcuts taken, allowing us to enjoy heartfelt dishes. I immediately made a reservation for the next visit, wanting to enjoy this cuisine again. The staff in charge of our room was also very pleasant, allowing us to enjoy our stay without any stress. Thank you very much for taking care of us. I am looking forward to the next visit.
