    45% OFF rate is reasonable.

    Stayed with a sale plan Chose this accommodation because it was cheaper than a business hotel. However, at the regular price, this hotel is far from worth it. It only holds value at the sale price. The location is good, staff are average, and amenities are well-equipped. The ReFa hairdryer and Mirable shower were nice features. However, the infrastructure like air conditioning is too outdated— the noise from water and air conditioning was excessively loud, making it hard to sleep. A full renovation after temporarily closing would be highly recommended. It's a shame given its great location. If paying the regular rate here, Mitsui Garden Hotel or Celestine Hotel or Marriott would be much better options. The Diamond Member upgrade benefits were also quite disappointing.

    It was a comfortable Room.

    Thank you, Hotel Monterey Ginza. The reception staff, breakfast venue staff, and parking staff (as I arrived by car and used the parking) all provided polite and pleasant service. The skincare set in the amenities was from Sekkisei. Since there were many international guests, I thought they might appreciate this renowned Japanese brand. The Room was compact but clean and comfortable. I was delighted to find a ReFa hairdryer in the Room. This time, my Room was upgraded to a twin room on the top floor (13th floor). Thank you very much for that! Despite being surrounded by buildings in prime Ginza real estate, the Room felt open rather than confined, making it so relaxing that I wanted to extend my stay. I chose a Plan with breakfast included, which was delicious. They even prepared omelets at a live kitchen station during breakfast service. When staying in Ginza again, I will definitely choose Hotel Monterey Ginza for its excellent location, great value for money, and wonderful staff. If there's one thing I'd suggest improving: the pajamas had a slight damp smell to them.

    A classical Western-...

    A classical Western-style Hotel, even more so than I had imagined. The atmosphere is wonderful, and I really liked it. The A8 exit of Higashi-Ginza Station was under construction and unavailable, so I exited to the ground through Kabukiza Theatre. There is a bit of distance from Kabukiza to the Hotel. After watching a play in Ueno, I walked from Yurakucho Station to the Hotel. It’s quite a walk from Yurakucho Station. However, the Hotel is very close to Ginza-itchome Subway Station. There are two convenience stores near the Hotel, which is very convenient. I was surprised by how luxurious the breakfast buffet was! It included a self-operated freshly made pancake machine (though it takes too long for pancakes to come out), made-to-order omelets with lavish ingredients and sauces, sukiyaki, seafood bowls, takoyaki, and more! They also provide high-quality ingredients as well as dressings and sauces. The Room's TV allows you to watch YouTube. I requested in advance for a DVD player (rental fee: 1,000 yen) and watched my own DVD—Monteverdi's "L'incoronazione di Poppea." The TV screen was quite large and easily viewable from the bed. The air conditioning worked well too; it was a comfortable Room overall. Overall, this is an excellent Hotel with an especially charming classical Western-style atmosphere that stood out wonderfully!

    Amenities are well-equipped.

    Since it is in Ginza, the Room is small, but the various amenities were excellent and soothing. The staff's thoughtfulness was also appreciated.

    A wonderful Hotel

    It was a stylish Hotel in Ginza with a cozy and elegant atmosphere. The staff were all kind and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, featuring omelets, seafood bowls, and salads with plenty of fresh vegetables. I would love to visit again. I also want to try their lunch and dinner options.

    I was satisfied.

    Conveniently located with excellent transportation access. The retro exterior and interior create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, due to a busy business trip schedule, I couldn't fully enjoy my stay.

    Unfortunately.

    I thought it was a business hotel in the countryside. Since it seemed unlikely that I could rebook another hotel due to time constraints, I reluctantly stayed here. However, I got the impression that even the front desk, which represents the face of the hotel, lacked proper staff training. The staff were not familiar with nearby restaurants and were having unrelated conversations and laughing behind the check-in counter—extremely unpleasant. The room had sand left on the floor, visible even with slippers on, and hair was clogging the bathroom drain, causing poor drainage. If this is Monterey's standard level of service... Staying at a city hotel would undoubtedly be more comfortable. I travel every two months but have never encountered such a hotel before. Perhaps this is unique to this Monterey in Ginza!

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    On 3/17, due to finishing work late, I made a last-minute Reservation the day before and used this Hotel for the first time. The retro atmosphere felt like stepping into a scene from an old movie, which was quite exciting. Thank you for kindly upgrading my Room from a single to a twin as part of the Diamond Member benefits. The Plan included breakfast with a wide variety of options—I might have eaten too much (laughs). If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay at this Hotel again. *Since I also have business trips to Osaka, I've already made a Reservation at Monterey Osaka.*

    With a child, just the two of us

    I stayed with my child and had a pleasant experience. It is a classical Hotel. The ReFa Beautech Dryer Smart gently dried my hair. The shower head "Mirable" might make the water temperature feel a bit cold if you're not careful with the water pressure. The refrigerator might move if you're not cautious when placing items inside. The Room itself was compact, and I was able to spend time quietly.

    I was able to relax.

    I made a reservation to watch Takarazuka. The location is great, within walking distance to both Yurakucho and Ginza, with convenience stores and many restaurants nearby, so there is no inconvenience. The room was clean and spacious, with amenities like face packs and eye masks for women, allowing me to relax comfortably. The breakfast was delicious, with seafood bowls and omelets from the live kitchen, and I especially liked the curry so much that I felt like buying it. All the staff were kind and pleasant. I will stay again!

    The front desk service is excellent.

    I have stayed here many times over the past 10 years, and the check-in experience at the front desk this time was excellent, with concise and friendly service. Recently, I have noticed that the shower pressure is strong, and I believe it should be improved.

    I have been using this Hotel for about 20 years whenever I come to Ginza. It is the most relaxing Hotel. The Deluxe has an entrance that looks like a foyer, and it is nice that it is separated from the Room by an internal door. The hairdryer has been changed to ReFa, which got me excited! It would be perfect if the bath was a separate type, but...
