    Directly connected to the station, making it very convenient. The Room is clean, and the view from the window is also beautiful. Breakfast is generally delicious.

    The Day Before the Horse Race

    I stayed on an upper floor and enjoyed the view. The unlimited iced coffee was a treat, and I fully enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent, and though I usually don't go for seconds, this time I did and thoroughly enjoyed it. With a late check-out at 1 PM, I had plenty of time to relax. The location near Kokura Station is very convenient. Next time, I'll stay at RIHGA Royal Hotel again before heading leisurely to the racetrack the following day. The price was also very reasonable.

    The Chinese cuisine (Fukika) was exquisite!

    Dinner was Chinese cuisine for the first time in a while, and it was exquisite. While many places tend to have strong flavors, which made us avoid Chinese food recently, the flavors here were gentle and absolutely delicious. My wife was also very pleased. As we arrived late this time, we couldn't make it to dessert, so we're looking forward to enjoying it on our next visit.

    Comfortable

    I stayed here for an appointment the next day. They kindly provided a humidifying air purifier upon request, and everything was smooth—not only check-in and check-out, but also arranging the health club and taxis—which was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, but I couldn’t take my time due to my schedule, so I hope to visit again.

    Unchanging comfort, even after 30 years.

    I stayed at the accommodation for the first time in about 30 years. The timeless appearance of the building was impressive, and I could see why it has been loved for so long, with its thoughtful barrier-free design and impeccably clean interior. The view from the window was wonderful, though it was a bit unfortunate that the outer window happened to be slightly dirty. The hospitality of the front desk staff was exceptionally pleasant and left a lasting impression on me. When I mentioned that we had held our wedding reception here 30 years ago, they kindly turned on the lights to show us the venue floor, even though it was closed for year-end maintenance. While some aspects had changed since then, its nostalgic charm remained intact, leaving both my wife and me with warm feelings.

    It was a great value stay.

    Stayed for 2 nights at the end of the year. The 35 sqm spacious Room was comfortable. It was a Plan with breakfast buffet included, and the price was exceptional compared to nearby Hotels. However, it was disappointing to find long hair, possibly from a previous guest or cleaning staff, under the shampoo holder in the bathroom.

    A highly satisfying stay with exceptional service from all staff.

    This was my first stay at the Hotel, chosen for its convenient location for using the Shinkansen the next morning. Staying on an executive floor, I experienced exceptional service from all staff members, from check-in in the room to spa use, breakfast on the top floor the next day, and check-out. Their heartfelt hospitality left a lasting impression. The genuine care to ensure guests enjoy their stay in Kokura made for a very comfortable and highly satisfying experience.

    The view was amazing!

    I chose the Tower Floor and Teddy Bear Gift Plan as it was on sale on IKYU.com. It was absolutely wonderful! Check-in was done in the Room, free drinks were available at the Tower Library, and they kindly changed wine to non-alcoholic for me, allowing me to relax. The view during both daytime and nighttime was stunning. Lying on the bed, I could see the sky filling up the window, which gave me a moment of peace. For breakfast, I chose Japanese cuisine. The sashimi, tofu, Onsen egg, and other dishes were delicious and allowed for a leisurely meal. The staff engaged in conversation with me, making it an enjoyable time. At check-in, I noticed how lovely one staff member's smile was; they also assisted during check-out which made me very happy! Being greeted with a smile truly brightens your day! The teddy bear dressed as Santa Claus was adorable and even joined us at the Christmas market! I would love to stay here again. Thank you so much!

    Stayed for 3 nights!

    This was my first stay, and I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of three nights. The Room was on the 20th floor or higher, offering a wonderful view and an excellent space. I also enjoyed breakfast and visited the bar late at night. Everything about this Hotel was great, and I would love to stay here again when visiting Kokura. I have one request: as someone who frequently stays at hotels, I noticed that the quality of the bath towels might be outdated compared to others. While they are clean, they do not absorb water well, making them less effective after using the bath. Additionally, the material feels stiff and lacks softness against the skin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

    The hospitality of the female front desk staff was delightful.

    The female staff at the front desk provided heartfelt service, which greatly enhanced my satisfaction during the stay. However, during my two-night stay, every night from around 8 PM to 9 PM, there were unusual vibrations and noises coming from the upper floor that lasted for a while. It sounded like heavy luggage being thrown or dropped—though it didn’t seem like dancing—and I wondered what it could be. At one point, the windows shook so much that I thought it might be an earthquake. Having experienced earthquakes before, this made me very anxious and uncomfortable. However, since the noise stopped after about 30 minutes to an hour each night and was not due to any fault of the Hotel itself, I endured it. Despite this unpleasant experience during my stay, everything was overshadowed by the exceptional hospitality of a female staff member who assisted me when sending off my luggage at checkout. When I asked about directions to a taxi stand near the station, she kindly walked with me until we could see it and explained everything thoroughly. Her genuine attitude—not just following a manual—warmed my heart and left me with a positive impression of both Kokura and this Hotel. Thank you very much!

    The night view from the high floors is breathtaking.

    I booked a high-floor Room expecting a great night view, and it was absolutely stunning. The city, Kokura Station, and factories were all visible and amazing. It truly made me understand why Kitakyushu is considered to have the best night views in Japan. I stayed for two nights and had a comfortable stay, but there were two things that caught my attention. First, there are no power outlets by the bedside. Second, the room wear is too tight—while I am on the heavier side, having more relaxed-fitting options would be more comfortable for everyone. Even with these points in mind, the night view was so incredible that I would consider coming back just to stay in this Room again!

    Trustworthy and Safe Accommodation

    This was my second stay, but this time I booked with no meals included due to urgency. The room was a twin and spacious enough for one person. Previously, I mentioned that it would be nice to have coffee as part of the amenities, and this time, coffee was thoughtfully provided. The two bottles of mineral water always available are also convenient and much appreciated. On the day of arrival, I was tired due to train schedule disruptions but found it helpful to relax in the room at my own pace. However, I did notice that the staff during check-out seemed unfriendly and did not respond when I said "Thank you for your hospitality," which left a slight impression on me.

    The view is spectacular.

    Connected to Kokura Station via a pedestrian deck, allowing access without getting wet even on rainy days. A luxurious Hotel with a sense of history and character. The cuisine was standard, possibly due to the limited availability of local specialty dishes in Kokura.

    A classic Hotel directly connected to the station

    A brief note for reference. Stayed in a ReFa Twin Room for a Multiple Night Stay as a solo guest. ■ Positive Points - The room was spacious and comfortable to use with plenty of space. - Enjoyed using the ReFa shower head, hair dryer, and hair iron, which made mornings and evenings delightful. - Although it was a unit bath, the bathtub was large enough to stretch out and relax. - Despite being on a business trip, the Hotel had an overall luxurious atmosphere that provided relaxation. ■ Points of Concern - Chose not to have cleaning service enter the room but requested additional towels and amenities only. While mineral water was supposed to be provided per night, there were times it wasn’t replenished unless contacted directly. - Cleansing oil wasn’t included in the amenities; instead, there was a facial wash pouch that also served as makeup remover. Those concerned may want to bring their own makeup remover products.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    With the Diamond privilege, I was able to check in from 1 PM and fully enjoy a comfortable Hotel stay. As always, I appreciate the kind and attentive service of the staff. The spa and sauna on the 6th floor provided a relaxing experience as usual. It is very convenient being just a short walk from Kokura Station. Looking forward to my next visit!

    Convenient and Comfortable Hotel

    A very convenient Hotel directly connected to Kokura Station. The Room is very spacious with well-equipped amenities, and the staff's hospitality was excellent, making my stay comfortable. They also kindly stored my luggage. Although I couldn't use it this time due to time constraints, the gym and spa seem well-equipped, so I would love to try them next time. Breakfast doesn't have a wide variety of options, but there are dishes featuring mentaiko and ingredients from Itoshima, allowing you to enjoy the taste of Fukuoka. I have stayed here several times and find it a very comfortable Hotel.

    Night in Kokura

    After a long time in Kokura, I went straight to Suke-san Udon after arriving at the station. The Hotel was clean, the view from the Room was great, and the morning breakfast had delicious egg dishes. Additionally, during my Multiple Night Stay, I noticed that the breakfast menu changed daily, which showed thoughtful consideration.

    It was comfortable.

    When informing about a change in check-in time for the online reservation, it was kindly accommodated. Stayed on the 26th floor. Check-in procedures were completed in the room, and we received a bottle of champagne, Halloween chocolates, and spherical chocolates. Since the champagne was in the refrigerator, I almost mistook beer and sports drinks as complimentary too. By registering on the app, we earned 500 points and confirmed that refrigerator drinks were included; with two registrations, we covered beer (500 yen) and nuts (450 yen). Additionally, as an app registration benefit, we received canned beer and bottled tea upon departure and coffee through a survey. We ended up with plenty of souvenirs. The breakfast on the 28th floor was delicious with a special dish from the chef that made us happy. There were also plenty of amenities available. The accommodation is conveniently located near the station with free parking provided—overall an extremely satisfying stay! Would love to visit again!

    A serene Hotel with attentive service

    I requested an early check-in, and the staff's response was kind and attentive. The Room was calm and relaxing, and the bed was very comfortable. I only had breakfast, but the menu was well-balanced, enjoyable, and delicious, so I ate a lot. However, the coffee taste wasn't great.

    The view was amazing.

    Stayed on a high floor on a sunny day and enjoyed the stunning view. The transition from sunset to night was incredibly beautiful, and the starry sky at midnight was breathtaking. Additionally, being close to the station made transportation very convenient.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night while visiting my hometown. I usually use a different hotel, but since it was a Saturday and accommodation prices were high everywhere, I chose Rihga Royal Hotel as the price wasn't much different. The cost may not have been significantly lower, but the quality was exceptional. The room was spacious with a great view, amenities were well-stocked, bottled water was provided, and the towels were of high quality. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay. If I had to mention one thing, when I made coffee, the cup was black so it was hard to see the color of the coffee; perhaps a different color would have been better.

    The tower floor is the best.

    I always use this place. The Tower Floor is highly recommended, even if it's a bit more expensive. This floor features a Tower Library where you can relax while enjoying complimentary drinks. Additionally, the Room amenities are excellent, with all towels being soft Imabari towels. A bottle of sparkling wine is also provided as a gift, making it the perfect Room for treating yourself to something special.

    Although the Hotel is a bit old, the staff's service is excellent, and I enjoy its calm atmosphere. I always choose to stay here when in Kokura.

    Had a comfortable stay.

    It was my first time visiting the Seller Bar at Liga Kokura in a while, and I had a pleasant and comfortable experience with its great atmosphere. However, I couldn't watch Netflix or similar services on the TV in the guest room, which might have been due to specific usage instructions. Therefore, I rated the Facility/Equipment 3 out of 5.
