    The excitement of a historic Hotel

    Sapporo Park Hotel excites you even before stepping inside. The blue-tiled exterior nestled in the greenery of Nakajima Park, along with its Japanese logo, is strikingly impressive, harmonizing quietly with the lush park surroundings while exuding elegance and a sense of nostalgia. This accommodation has a unique charm due to its history, offering a different design and atmosphere compared to modern hotels. For instance, the surprisingly large bathroom sink reflects the design philosophy of its time, and the calm tones throughout the building evoke a Showa-modern ambiance. It provides an experience distinct from newer accommodations—a taste that only comes with time and history! Above all else, breakfast at the restaurant was exceptional! Enjoying delicious dishes at leisure while gazing out at the park's expansive scenery felt truly luxurious. The female staff’s warm hospitality made this relaxing moment even more pleasant. (One disappointing point: when I went back to retrieve my forgotten jacket from inside, it had been carelessly rolled up for transport and handed over in a manner reminiscent of crumpled convenience store bags—perhaps because it was handled by male staff? It left me slightly disheartened.) If given another opportunity, I would love to stay at this hotel just as it is now. Thank you very much!

    Enjoy a delicious breakfast surrounded by the fresh greenery of early summer.

    I always choose this hotel for my stay in Sapporo. This time, I opted for a breakfast-included plan to enjoy a delicious morning meal. At home, we rarely have traditional Japanese breakfast dishes due to family preferences, but I occasionally choose the breakfast-included plan here to savor Nadaman's breakfast. The clear blue sky and the nearby and distant mountains spread out before me. While enjoying a leisurely breakfast, I reminisced about climbing Mt. Moiwa every year during high school outings. This is my little luxury that I indulge in a few times a year. This time, I was upgraded and had a pleasant chat with one of the front desk staff from Asahikawa. Thank you always for your warm hospitality! I wonder when I'll visit next—perhaps during the autumn foliage season? I'm looking forward to it!

    Sapporo Best Hotel

    The room was clean and spacious, with meticulous housekeeping, and the staff were kind and professional... truly an amazing hotel. The room was dust-free, and the air was fresh—perhaps because it’s near a park. Taxis were always available, making it very convenient. I wish there were more hotels like this that treat their guests with such care. The garden with views of birch trees was beautifully maintained, and I felt completely refreshed by the soothing waterfall and rain-kissed trees. For breakfast, I opted for the buffet after much deliberation, and everything was so delicious that I ended up spending about two hours enjoying it... It was absolutely wonderful! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Sapporo now. Next time, I’ll visit for a multiple night stay. To all the staff members—front desk team, chefs, housekeeping team—thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

    Dining with exemplary hotel staff at a city Hotel.

    I have been using this hotel for 30 years, though not frequently, with a total of approximately 15 nights. The Wi-Fi password starts with the hotel's opening year, and while the facilities may not match newer hotels, I continue to stay here because of the attentive bell staff in the lobby who are always ready to assist when needed. The breakfast features many handmade dishes using local ingredients, making it enjoyable even during a Multiple Night Stay without becoming repetitive. Both services require significant effort, but I hope this standard is maintained. It would be appreciated if improvements could be made regarding the nightwear design that is difficult to put on and take off and the inconsistency between requesting sheet changes by placing a card on the bed versus indicating no towel change by attaching a card to the door. Additionally, as air conditioning is centrally controlled, I was concerned at Reservation about maintaining room temperature comfortably during May's fluctuating weather. While there were no issues during my stay, it would provide peace of mind if it were clarified that cooling is standard in this season and blankets or personal heaters can be provided upon request for colder moments.

    Stayed at the accommodation I had always dreamed of.

    I stayed at this hotel for one night during my 6-night stay in Sapporo. Two years ago, I saw this beautiful hotel from Nakajima Park and wanted to stay here. The view of the park was incredibly soothing. However, the overall atmosphere felt like an older hotel. I was surprised by the intimidating tone of a staff member who seemed experienced. While there were also staff members with very polite manners, it left a disappointing impression of the hotel overall. This experience made me realize how much the attitude of hotel staff can influence the overall impression of a trip during my 6-day stay at various accommodations. Even if physical aspects cannot be changed, I felt it’s unfortunate that improvements in service could be achieved through individual awareness but weren’t fully realized here.

    The interior is outdated.

    I made a reservation because it is located very close to Nakajima Park. However, I was disappointed with the room as it was quite different from the photos on the website. In mid-May, Hokkaido is still quite chilly, and the room was cold.

    The location is excellent.

    The parking lot was very spacious and easy to park in, and above all, the location was excellent. I was able to leisurely enjoy Susukino and Sapporo Station area by car for the first time in a while. The view from the Room overlooking the park was beautiful. The staff kindly guided me to my Room, which left a good impression. There were capsule coffee and blueberry tea available, allowing for a relaxing stay. Amenities were well-prepared, and even the fluffy slippers added to my satisfaction during my stay. After staying here, I understand why it is so popular. I would love to visit again!

    Always a reliable Hotel!

    Thank you for always upgrading our stay. We had a spacious and pleasant time. We enjoyed tea at the first-floor café using the ticket we received as Diamond members. The view was excellent and truly wonderful. The proximity to the subway and free parking were also very convenient. We would love to stay here again when visiting Sapporo.

    The facility is quite old, but it can't be helped.

    Nakajima Park is nearby, making it a good spot for a walk. However, the breakfast is underwhelming. The live kitchen does not cook in front of you but serves pre-cooked items, defeating the purpose of a live kitchen!

    Located in a special setting within a corner of the park and facing the lively Susukino area, this accommodation offers an unparalleled location in Sapporo. Having lived in Hokkaido for 20 years, I am grateful to use it as my regular accommodation.

    We recommend the Chinese restaurant.

    The overall service was stable, allowing for a comfortable and worry-free stay. I tried the Japanese, Western, and Chinese restaurants, with the Chinese restaurant being the best. The facility has a classical feel, but the accommodation offered great value for money and high satisfaction. Considering the price of meals, I had slightly higher expectations. My companion loved the mattress so much that we are likely to return.

    A Hotel That Makes You Want to Write a Review

    We stayed on a special floor as a family. The Room was clean, and we were very satisfied with the linens, amenities, service, and meals. Despite being a special floor, the price was quite reasonable, offering excellent value for money. This is a Hotel I can confidently recommend to friends.

    Hotel near the station!

    The Hotel had a luxurious feel, reminiscent of a long-established Hotel. Thanks to the thoughtful gesture from the Hotel, my Room was upgraded to a spacious one with an excellent view. It was wonderful. Thank you!

    I would like to use it as much as possible until the closing period, as I will miss it.

    The parking lot is available for flat parking (though snow accumulates). The subway station is nearby (you can walk to various places), and the front desk is simple and approachable. A luxurious Hotel from the Showa era. No problems at all, and I think it's cheap. I also like Nadaman's breakfast with a nice view.

    The price was signif...

    The price was significantly higher due to the Snow Festival. However, the location was excellent, being close to the station and also near Susukino. The Room was on the park side, offering a beautiful snowy landscape, and it was great to be able to take a walk right in front of it. The Facility was average. The bed felt slightly worn out.

    The first Room on the Nakajima Park side

    I have stayed several times during concerts at Kitara. Around October 20th, expecting the autumn foliage season, I splurged on a room on the Nakajima Park side. Compared to the single rooms I had stayed in before, the room and bed were spacious and more comfortable than usual. It might have been a bit early for the peak of the autumn foliage, but the view of Nakajima Park from the room was superb. I used Nadaman for breakfast. The Japanese set meal in a quiet environment overlooking Nakajima Park was exceptional.

    Quiet and convenient

    I stayed for a concert in Makomanai, and the nearest station is on the Namboku Line, just a one-minute walk from the station. There is a park and a convenience store right in front, making it a very convenient yet quiet environment. The Facility is not the latest, but you can leave your key, and the staff are very courteous. It was a very comfortable Hotel.

    Great location next to Nakajima Park

    Stayed with my beloved dog! The door was decorated with dog-themed decorations, giving a welcoming feeling even before entering the Room. The Room was just the right size and clean, leaving nothing to be desired. There were plenty of dog supplies, and there were two cushions of different sizes. The painting of a dog on the wall was so cute that I wanted a postcard of it as a Hotel souvenir! (I checked the shop, but they said it wasn't for sale.) I was curious about the dining venue, but since I had my dog with me, I used Room service for both breakfast and dinner. I was able to enjoy a leisurely and delicious meal! The autumn leaves of Nakajima Park were beautifully visible from the window. It was during the period when they were doing light-ups at night, so every time I opened the curtains, it was exciting. It would be even better if the bathroom light was brighter! I would love to stay again when I visit Sapporo. As expected of a long-established Hotel. I found the openness of the lobby and the architecture of the entire Hotel, as well as the horizontally long feel of the elevator, to be intriguing. Thank you for the hospitality.

    Luxurious time with your beloved dog at a long-established Hotel

    I am truly grateful for the opportunity to spend such a quality time with my beloved dog and spouse. A wonderful hotel with high hospitality. I fell in love with the warm comfort and calm atmosphere of Sapporo Park Hotel. Our stay in Sapporo, where we relaxed with our dog in the spacious and clean room, became a treasure. The map provided at check-in, which included dining spots where we could enjoy with our dog, was extremely helpful. Nakajima Park is just a 30-second walk from the entrance. (There is a lovely Western-style building.) Susukino entertainment district is a 20-minute walk away (we went to an izakaya listed on the map where we could enter together. It was delicious and very filling!). The area is fulfilling even with just nearby explorations. For breakfast, you can freely choose between a buffet and Nadaman. The Ainu cuisine at the buffet was delicious. Thank you very much for this time. I think it will become our regular Stays when visiting Hokkaido!

    When we communicated various requests in advance, they responded attentively and sincerely, even though it would have been understandable if they had declined our requests. I was deeply impressed. Additionally, all the staff had smiles, and it was as pleasant as the Disney Hotel.

    I wanted to see the ...

    I wanted to see the autumn leaves of Nakajima Park in front of the Hotel, so I reserved a room on the park side, but I was upgraded to a spacious room on a higher floor. The view of Nakajima Park from the breakfast venue at Nadaman was wonderful. However, the only issue was the drainage in the bathroom, but everything else was satisfactory.

    I am very satisfied with the hospitality unique to a long-established Hotel. The breakfast buffet has returned to its original form after the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing for a relaxing atmosphere. The aging of the building itself is undeniable, but the cleaning is thorough, and I was able to spend a satisfying time.

    After 9 years

    It was my first stay in 9 years. This Hotel holds many memories for me. The facilities have aged, but the warmth of the staff and the calming atmosphere are exceptional. The breakfast at Piare felt slightly less impressive, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. On the second day, I was torn between Nadaman and Piare for breakfast, but chose Piare. This is my home in Sapporo.

    Wonderful Hotel

    It was a Hotel I had known for quite some time. I had always wanted to visit. This time, on my fourth year of a motorcycle trip in Hokkaido, I decided to stay in Sapporo for the first time. I arrived just after noon, and since it was before check-in, I left my luggage, but they kindly came to pick it up at the parking lot. It was a slightly warm day for this time of year, and I set off for my desired sightseeing spot in good spirits. Nakajima Park was also lovely. At check-in, I was delighted to have my Room upgraded to the park side. The next morning, I had a panoramic view of the park where the autumn leaves had begun to change. Unfortunately, there was no laundry Facility, but I suppose that's due to the Hotel's prestige. Let's overlook that. It was a wonderful stay. Next time, I would like to visit with my wife. Thank you very much.

    Long-established hotel, comfortable stay with reliable service.

    This was our second stay in several years. We used a room facing Nakajima Park as a couple. The access from the subway station is extremely good. Although the building in general, including air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, and TV facilities, shows its age, the attentive service more than made up for it, allowing us to have a comfortable stay. It would be nice if the temperature in each room could be adjusted a bit. Amenities and linens are sufficient. The bathrobe after a shower is very comfortable. We tried both the 11th-floor Nadaman and the 1st-floor buffet for breakfast, and the 1st-floor buffet was overwhelmingly better. There was a wide variety of dishes. The homemade salted fish and Hokkaido yogurt were particularly delicious. The coffee after the meal was also very tasty. One concern was the air purifier in the guest room; it would be more reassuring to use if the water tank was emptied during the "non-humidifying season," as I was worried about mold. I have a mold allergy and was anxious, so I turned it off. (It's probably fine, though.)
