    Excellent location!

    Located just steps from the Shinjuku New South Exit—an unbeatable location! Since the Hotel is on the 20th floor and above, the views are great, and we could even see Tokyo Skytree from our Room. Takashimaya is right in front, so it was easy to find places to eat. It was also very convenient for getting around with the Hotel as a base, so I’d love to stay again.

    It might be a bit old.

    The location is excellent and very convenient. I knew it had a unit bath, but it still felt a bit disappointing. The staff seemed busy and did not help with basic things like moving luggage, even though it is a Hotel.

    I stayed here last m...

    I stayed here last month and found it very comfortable with a great location, so I chose to stay again this month. The staff also helped me arrange courier delivery and a taxi. Everyone was very pleasant, and I felt at ease throughout my stay. I’m planning to stay again next month as well.

    Convenient.

    The location was very convenient and the view was great, so I really enjoyed this occasional Shinjuku stay. There was a QR code in the elevator for a stay survey, but I checked out early in the morning and forgot to respond, so I’m sharing my feedback here. In this Room, the closet spring (?) seemed to be broken; whenever I tried to hang clothes or open it, I had to use my fingernails each time to pull it open. Since some time has passed since my previous stay, I hope you will properly maintain and take care of areas that have become worn with age.

    Water only

    The room was clean, and I had no issues with the stay overall. The only thing that concerned me was the drinking water. I agree from an environmental standpoint with not providing plastic bottles in the room and instead having guests get water from a dispenser. However, it was difficult to store the water properly, so I only used it a couple of times. The container provided in the room didn’t feel very hygienic, and since it has no lid, it’s also hard to keep the water stored—so you either have to go refill each time or keep it in your own bottle or flask.\nI did appreciate that both room-temperature and chilled water were available. Still, since I came to the Hotel to relax, going to the dispenser every time was inconvenient, so I ended up buying bottled water at a convenience store. That was my only concern.

    I’m glad I chose to stay here.

    I stayed here for the first time because it seemed to offer the best access for taking the Keio Line early the next morning. The weather on my stay was stormy, but it was very close to JR’s New South Exit, which was great. The Diamond member early check-in benefit was a huge help in such bad weather! The Room felt historic yet was very clean. It was compact and comfortable. There’s also a convenience store on the first floor, which is handy. The view from the upper floors was wonderful. The next morning after the rain stopped, I could even see a beautiful Mt. Fuji. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. I’d like to stay here again when I’m in Shinjuku, and I’d also like to try the meals next time. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    Disappointed

    No car drop-off area, which is inconvenient. The route from the entrance to the floor is inconvenient. It feels like a Business Hotel aimed at foreign guests. If you accept it as such, it’s average. There is no particular consideration for children. The meals (breakfast) are also on a Business Hotel level. Only the view is decent, with a nice overlook of Shinjuku.

    The value did not match the price.

    Despite the price of 80,000 yen for two people, it did not feel worth the cost. While the view from the room was good, the outdated and basic facilities stood out, giving an impression not much different from a business hotel. Although it was understandable due to New Year's timing, there was no room upgrade as part of Diamond Member benefits, and facilities like lounges closed early, which was disappointing. Surprisingly for this price range, there was no in-room dining service or hair iron rental available. Additionally, there wasn’t even a minibar or complimentary bottled water in the room (though a water dispenser seemed to be available near the elevator), highlighting a lack of basic services. The location being just a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Station is commendable; however, even with that advantage considered, I felt that the overall experience did not justify its value. Other hotels at similar or lower price points clearly offer superior spaces and services. If convenience and simply having a place to sleep are your priorities, this might be an option. However, for those seeking special experiences or extraordinary stays that match their budget expectations, I cannot recommend this accommodation.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    The accommodation was peaceful and relaxing, possibly because it was after the New Year holiday. With the lobby floor located on the 20th floor, the view was spectacular, and from the room, I could enjoy a panoramic view of Tokyo Skytree and high-rise buildings in the city. It was a wonderful stay. I would love to stay here again if I have another opportunity.

    The location and views are exceptional.

    The station, convenience stores, and cafes are very close, making it extremely convenient. The view from the Room was also excellent. The staff's service was outstanding, and I had a very satisfying stay. Thank you!

    Breakfast

    The seat assigned at the breakfast restaurant was uncomfortable. Due to the New Year holiday, there were many tourists, and it was crowded. Since our table was near the buffet area, people frequently passed by on both sides to get food, making it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. I wish we had been seated by the window where there would be no foot traffic. Considering that breakfast is not cheap, I felt it wasn’t worth the price. The variety of dishes seemed fewer compared to before, and even their quality appeared lower—perhaps this impression was influenced by the overall atmosphere.

    I have been staying at this hotel for over 20 years, and it is my favorite accommodation that I always want to stay at whenever I visit Tokyo. The night view is beautiful, and the staff are kind.

    World Athletics Championship Viewing

    The location is excellent, making it worth staying for that alone. While the breakfast buffet wasn't particularly exciting, considering the convenience and great views, I think it's a hotel with no complaints. I walked back from the National Stadium without any issues at all.

    This is my second st...

    This is my second stay at this accommodation. My previous visit was six months ago, and I chose to stay here again because of the great view and the convenience for shopping and dining. Last time, I stayed in a Southern Tower Twin on the west side. This time, I stayed in a Scenic Twin on the east side. As expected, the city night view was stunning, and seeing Tokyo Skytree in the distance was delightful. The breakfast was delicious, allowing me to enjoy it leisurely, which made me very satisfied. I would love to stay here again.

    I stayed at the accommodation on the day of the Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival. The access to the venue was convenient. The front staff had a pleasant demeanor, and the room was clean and comfortable. Next time, I would like to try the breakfast as well.

    Above Standard Satisfaction

    Close to Shinjuku Station, this is a great hotel. For high floors, you need to transfer elevators once to go outside from the bedroom, but this is common in hotels within Tokyo. The view is excellent, with sights of Shinjuku Gyoen and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Since I stayed on the first day of a three-day weekend, the price was higher than usual, but I believe the service matched the cost. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, and I enjoyed it right after it began. It was relaxing and pleasant.

    The service is welcoming and friendly.

    The staff, including cleaning staff encountered in the facility, impressed us with their polite demeanor. However, it was disappointing that the unique smell of the old building affected the cleanliness of the Room. When moving the tissue case, a considerable amount of dust appeared, and perhaps due to air conditioning, we also noticed that towels felt damp.

    Two guests (one parent and one child)

    My husband and our two sons stayed at your Accommodation. It was peaceful, the night view was beautiful, and they were able to relax—thank you very much. They also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was delicious, and were pleased with how kind and helpful all the staff were. Next time, I would love to stay as well, and I look forward to visiting again.

    It was very convenient.

    Thank you for your hospitality. I chose this Hotel this time out of nostalgia, as my parents used to stay here often. Initially, I planned a 2-night stay but decided to extend it to 3 nights. Since I couldn't change the Reservation to 3 nights, I made an additional Reservation for the extra night separately. However, during check-in, the staff kindly informed me that "we have prepared the same Room for all 3 nights," which made me very happy. I truly appreciate your thoughtful consideration. The location was very convenient. The view from the Room was also wonderful, and I had a comfortable stay throughout. It would have been even better if there were more space in the bathroom to place items, but other than that, it was a highly satisfying stay. Thank you very much!

    The front desk service was unpleasant.

    The front desk lacked responsiveness, and the manager, who appeared to be a senior staff member, was arrogant and overly confident, displaying insincere politeness. It was a very unpleasant experience.

    The location is excellent.

    Close to Shinjuku Station and very convenient. I have stayed at many accommodations, but the staff, especially at the front desk, are efficient and provide excellent service. The water facilities in the room are slightly old but clean. Each guest is provided with two bath towels, face towels, and hand towels, which was impressive as it shows consideration for guests' needs. One towel is often not enough, and few accommodations prepare multiple towels, which has always been a dissatisfaction for me. I would love to stay here again if given the opportunity.
