The Hotel itself is old, but it is very well maintained and I was able to spend my time comfortably. The staff were pleasant and very nice. I asked the Hotel laundry to wash my clothes, but my husband's pants were not done well, and the sweater I requested for dry cleaning (it was a cotton sweater, but there was no water wash option) had a bad smell, which was troublesome. I had planned to wear that sweater home, but it was too smelly, so I wore something else I had and washed the sweater again at home. The smell of other items I requested for water wash was fine, so I don't know if it's the dry cleaning solution or the machine, but I think it should be improved, so I deducted one star from my satisfaction rating. The next time I visit Hakata, I would like to use this place for its convenient location, as long as I don't use the cleaning service.
