Smell of cigarette smoke

I requested a non-smoking Room, but it smelled of cigarettes. They kindly moved me to the floor above, but at night cigarette smoke still came in from the hallway, so I covered the gap under the door with a towel to sleep. The staff were very kind, but it seemed there may be smoking Rooms on the same floor, and the smell spread throughout the hallway. It felt like even the non-smoking Rooms were almost no different from smoking Rooms. If they hadn’t changed my Room, I was close to moving to another Hotel.

Although you requested a non-smoking Room, we are truly sorry to hear that you were troubled not only in the initial Room but also after moving Rooms due to odors coming from the hallway. As our guestroom floors are separated into non-smoking and smoking floors, we recognize the need to conduct thorough daily inspections to ensure there are no issues with the air-conditioning or ventilation systems.
