Hamamatsu’s finest Hotel with sparkling night views from the upper floors

This is truly a Hamamatsu landmark, and I’d been wanting to stay here at least once. It’s adjacent to the station, but because the Facility is so huge, it felt farther than expected. That said, just as stated on the website, it’s a 3-minute walk. The location is very convenient. For my Room, I stayed in an “Upper Premium” Standard Single. The stylish, luxurious interior and amenities were excellent. It was a bit small, which was disappointing, but given that the price was comparable to a Business Hotel, that’s understandable. It faced the city side, but the view from the high floor was wonderful. In hindsight, at this level I should have paid a little more and chosen a larger Room on the ocean side. The staff’s courteous service also lived up to Okura quality. There was also an Act City walking map; starting early in the morning, I enjoyed a varied walk unlike anything else—highly recommended.
