This time, since I wanted an Onsen close to Yonago Airport, I chose Kaike Onsen. I was satisfied with the Room, the Onsen, and the meals. However, upon arrival: There was only one person at the front desk, and no one came to greet me at the entrance. (For some reason, when I left they saw me off the whole time?) I stopped in front of the entrance to unload my luggage, then parked my car on my own in a distant parking lot. When I entered, they were assisting the previous guest and didn’t say “Welcome” or even “Please wait,” which made me feel like I wasn’t being welcomed. We stayed for one night on our way back from a trip to Kyushu, and it was our first visit. The front lobby was very spacious, and the design—almost like a surrounding corridor—felt truly luxurious. With its seaside location, we could see the ocean from our Room, and there were many children enjoying the on-site pool. As an IKYU Diamond member benefit, we received access cards to the club floor and ended up using it twice. The club floor was also an exceptionally refined space with outstanding views, offering both table seating and sofa areas. A wide selection of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks was generously provided, so you could easily spend the whole day there enjoying drinks. There were also many well-seasoned, elegant guests who seemed like regulars, and even as a couple who rarely visits club floors, we enjoyed it thoroughly. The large public bath had wonderfully soothing saline water that completely relieved our travel fatigue. Next time, we’d love to stay longer for a more relaxing getaway. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious, and we were very satisfied. The view from the Onsen was wonderful, and we were especially happy that there was a carbonated bath. I visited here as a child, and this time I came back to my hometown and stayed with my son and my parents. The Hotel has been beautifully renovated, so it felt quite different, but I enjoyed the nostalgic kawara soba and visited the lounge for the first time. We were able to relax together as a family, and even with just one night we were completely satisfied. The bath in the Room was great, and the private open-air bath was also amazing. The meals were delicious as well, and I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

This was my fifth stay. I visited this time for my birthday. Because it was my birthday, they upgraded me to a suite Room, and I was truly touched by their thoughtfulness. The Room was spacious, spotless, and absolutely wonderful. As always, the meals were consistently delicious. The vegetables here are especially outstanding. It was my first time trying the egg tart, and it was perfectly flaky and very tasty. I don’t drink alcohol, but their decaffeinated coffee is excellent. When I asked for it, they even went out of their way to prepare and bring it to me, saying it’s “difficult to brew.” I really appreciated that kind of attentive service. For those who do drink alcohol, I think this Hotel must feel like heaven. All of the staff are kind and courteous. In particular, the front desk service was exceptional. Since I’ve stayed several times before, they skipped unnecessary explanations when appropriate—flexibly adjusting to the situation—which I found wonderful. The bath area was also well cleaned, and I’m happy that Sekkisei amenities are available. Before entering the bath, I heard another guest mention that something had run out, but it seemed to be replenished frequently; by the time I finished bathing, it had been properly restocked. The only disappointment this time was that because of the rain I couldn’t see Mt. Daisen, but the night view toward Yonago was beautiful. After five stays here in total, once again I felt this is an Accommodation where you’ll want to return again and again.

The Hotel is located right in front of Miyajima Port, making access excellent and extremely convenient. Even before check-in and after check-out, we could use the lounge and enjoy ice cream, coffee, and other drinks. Depending on the time of day, there was also a momiji manju service, plus vouchers to redeem momiji manju at shops on Miyajima (including fried momiji), and candy ice cream after the bath—everything was thoughtfully provided. The facilities were very clean, and the buffet featured carefully prepared dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. With an all-inclusive plan that included alcohol as well, we were very satisfied overall. The lemon herb tea in the restaurant was especially delicious; we highly appreciated that it used Hiroshima lemons and herbs, to the point that we wanted to buy it. We think it would be great if it were sold in the Hotel’s souvenir corner or similar shop.
