We stopped by on our way back from a memorial interment and were completely exhausted, but this Accommodation was satisfying in every way and truly helped us unwind. Although it is a little far from the station, it is surrounded by greenery, and we also liked the natural, not overly manicured garden. The facilities and service were attentive, and we appreciated having pajamas provided in addition to yukata. The spacious indoor bath that can also be enjoyed like a semi-open-air bath was wonderful. The bedding was very comfortable, and even my husband from Kansai praised the meals highly. I had little appetite, but I was still able to enjoy the food. All of the staff were warm and welcoming, making this an Accommodation our whole family was happy with. Thank you for taking such good care of us—we would love to visit again.

Thank you very much for taking care of us during our 3-day, 2-night stay. We visited to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and thanks to your thoughtful hospitality, we were able to enjoy a relaxing and healing trip. Thank you. At the beach below the Hotel, it was quite windy due to a low-pressure system, but we were still able to snorkel and see some fish. The Room was just the right size, and we could relax comfortably. We also enjoyed the private open-air bath on the 5th floor without worrying about time, which made for a very restful experience. The meals were delicious from the jimami potage onward. Breakfast was also just the right amount and very enjoyable. It felt like there were more Western guests than we expected. We heard that an annex is scheduled to be completed next year, so we are really looking forward to it. We would love to stay with you again next time.

It was a wonderful night. Dinner is served to just three parties at this inn with only three rooms. You might imagine a quiet, lonely atmosphere—but what filled the space was lively conversation. “It’s the Mid-Autumn Moon tonight, so we’ll dim the lights,” said the mother. When she opened the door, you could hear waves loud enough to rival any background music; beyond the terrace, moonlight shimmered on the sea, with fishing boats’ lights in the distance. On our table were various handmade dishes prepared by the whole family. Everyone moved cheerfully between kitchen and dining room, while happy conversations flowed among guests. The father’s Japanese cuisine—after training at a long-established sushi restaurant near Akebonobashi and running a sushi minshuku in Kamogawa with his wife for over 30 years—and French dishes from their son, who returned home after 11 years of training at Hotel New Otani. Even the porcini mushrooms were locally sourced. “Destination restaurant” may be today’s buzzword, but for me this place suits me better—and makes me want to come back more—than certain well-known spots deep in Toyama’s mountains or in Nirasaki. Reservations are easy to get, and it’s only a 90-minute drive from central Tokyo.

We were completely satisfied with everything—the meals, the Onsen, the Room, and the service.\nSimmered golden eye snapper is a specialty at Ryokan in Chiba, but although this one looked lightly seasoned, the flavor was thoroughly infused and we enjoyed it to the very end without finding it too strong.\nWe also loved the silky feel of the Onsen.\nWe’d love to visit again!

My husband said it was the best, to put it modestly. We watched both the sunset and the sunrise for a long time. Since we can’t eat a lot, it was great that there’s a restaurant where you can order à la carte instead of having to choose the set dinner. The amenities were also well stocked. This is an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a gift of a hot towel and chocolates at check-in. Of course, the staff’s hospitality was also excellent. I had checked in advance that there was a gym and spa, but the gentle, convincing suggestion—“Your Accommodation Room is on the Mt. Fuji side, and the spa is on the Skytree side, so please feel free to use it”—led me to enjoy both. The Room décor was elegant and refined, and I was amazed they even provided binoculars (unfortunately, the weather was bad so I couldn’t use them). The amenities and drinks were more than sufficient, but when I learned there were several types of pillows available, I couldn’t resist requesting one. Not only are the facilities outstanding, but every single staff member—including those at the breakfast restaurant—provided attentive service; everything on the service side was flawless. Hats off to them. I’ve never had such a comfortable stay before; my companion and I kept saying “We don’t want to leave,” as we checked out.

This luxury Japanese-style Ryokan with views of Mt. Fuji offered exceptional service. The view from the Room was stunning, and the windows were polished to a shine, which showed true hospitality. Both the in-room bath and the large public bath were comfortable and deeply relaxing. The meals were also delicious. The attentive service made our children happy as well. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again.

We were worried that the earthquake might have caused damage, but when we asked in advance, we were told there was no particular impact and that we could feel at ease, so we decided to visit. The area around Aso was cooler than Kumamoto City and very comfortable. For the open-air bath in the Room, they showed us how to fill it with Onsen water when showing us around, and since it is available 24 hours a day, we were able to enjoy a relaxing soak at night and again in the morning. This time we chose a Plan with breakfast only, but there were many small dishes beautifully arranged and pleasing to the eye, and the rice cooked in a pot was also very delicious. This is an Accommodation we would like to visit again for a relaxing stay.

This was about my fourth visit, and it had been a while since the last time, but once again I had a thoroughly satisfying stay in every respect. As it was just the beginning of September, we were served dobin-mushi and matsutake mushroom rice, allowing us to enjoy the flavors of autumn a little early. Everything was delicious. The Room was spotless, and the entire property felt clean and well maintained. Above all, every staff member was polite and composed; meals were served at just the right time, and they always seemed to be attentively looking out for guests in a natural way. The Hotel we chose for our first trip to Ishigaki Island Everyone was surprised by how spacious the Room was—it’s a space that makes you think, “Is this what an ideal villa stay feels like?” Since our goal for this trip was simply to relax, choosing UBUFURU was absolutely the right decision. Because they don’t accommodate many guests, we were able to spend quiet, fulfilling time there. Breakfast didn’t have a huge number of items, but that actually let us savor each one carefully. Having a washing machine in the Room made it easy to do laundry at our own pace, and we realized it quietly adds a lot of comfort to the trip. If I had to mention an area for improvement: I would have liked the sauna temperature to be a bit higher. The cold plunge temperature and the outdoor relaxation setup were excellent, so improving this point would make guests even happier! Thank you as well for preparing a BBQ dinner on short notice on our second day. Being able to eat at our own pace with family while looking out at the ocean became a wonderful memory. As mentioned in other Reviews, be careful if you do it in the Room—smells will linger no matter what—so I recommend doing it on the balcony instead. All of the staff maintained just the right distance without being intrusive, while still responding properly whenever we needed something. Thank you very much!

The Hotel is located right in front of Miyajima Port, making access excellent and extremely convenient. Even before check-in and after check-out, we could use the lounge and enjoy ice cream, coffee, and other drinks. Depending on the time of day, there was also a momiji manju service, plus vouchers to redeem momiji manju at shops on Miyajima (including fried momiji), and candy ice cream after the bath—everything was thoughtfully provided. The facilities were very clean, and the buffet featured carefully prepared dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. With an all-inclusive plan that included alcohol as well, we were very satisfied overall. The lemon herb tea in the restaurant was especially delicious; we highly appreciated that it used Hiroshima lemons and herbs, to the point that we wanted to buy it. We think it would be great if it were sold in the Hotel’s souvenir corner or similar shop.

We stayed as a middle-aged couple. We wondered if we might feel out of place, but it was a wonderful property with ocean views beyond the pool. Not only the pool, but also the two saunas each had their own unique atmosphere, and we enjoyed them both. The sunset and night views from the restaurant terrace were beautiful as well. Floating in the pool while gazing up at the blue sky was pure bliss. Thank you very much.

The food was truly delicious! Not only dinner, but also the vegetables at breakfast were excellent. The restaurant where we enjoyed the welcome drink and the guests-only lounge were both very comfortable, and we had a wonderful time. The bath felt a little small, but it was clean and pleasant. We stayed in Building D, which is pet-friendly. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. There’s honestly nothing to criticize, so here are a few tips to help you enjoy your stay even more. Jacuzzi / Open-air bath / Pool: 　Bringing a swimsuit is recommended. Stink bugs (currently a large outbreak): 　It’s helpful to bring sticky tape for removal. Bakery: 　There’s a great bakery nearby. Amenities: 　High-quality POLA amenities are provided, so you only need to bring the basics. To fully enjoy it: 　You’ll probably want to stay two nights. Appliances: 　Most appliances are available, but there doesn’t seem to be an air fryer (probably). Shirarahama Beach: 　It’s just under 2 km away—slightly far. Dogs aren’t allowed on Shirarahama Beach, which is disappointing, but the beauty of the beach is amazing.

Everything—the views, the Room, the baths, the meals, and the hospitality—was outstanding. My whole family kept saying again and again that we had never stayed at such a wonderful Ryokan. First of all, the baths! The view of Otaru spread out below from the open-air bath was breathtaking. (We also really appreciated that the amenities were from a well-known cosmetics brand and that towels were always available.) Inside the Ryokan, there were furnishings that evoked the former prosperity of the Herring Mansion, making it an irresistible place for history lovers. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and I especially can’t forget the potato with butter sauce—a long-loved specialty of this Ryokan. It was such an incredible time that I almost didn’t want to recommend it to others. I definitely want to come back again next time.

We stayed here as a couple for our wedding anniversary. It seemed we had the place to ourselves by chance, so we were able to truly relax. Every dish was carefully prepared, and everything was a flavor we had never tried before—absolutely delicious. The owners were also very kind, and we had a wonderful time. We would love to come back and stay again at a leisurely pace.

We stayed at Allamanda Splendid during Silver Week 2026. Our family loves each of the Shigira Group Hotels, and we stay at one of their Hotels about four times a year. This time, we were really looking forward to staying at Splendid, the newest property. As expected for a newly opened Hotel, everything was very clean and beautiful. The pool on the property was also spotless and spacious, and our child happily spent a lot of time swimming. We also appreciated being able to choose from three breakfast venues. It was very comfortable overall, and it’s relatively close to Shigira Beach as well. All of the staff were truly kind, which made our stay even better. Our whole family was extremely satisfied with this Hotel. Thank you very much. We look forward to staying again.

This was my second stay. My first visit left a great impression, so when planning this trip with friends visiting from Taiwan, I recommended it and included it in our itinerary. Everyone praised the courteous service, the Facility, and the delicious meals. Although everything was complimentary, we truly appreciated being served high-quality food and drinks.
