This was our first trip with our beloved dog (a black Mameshiba), and we really enjoyed it—the meals were delicious, and the private bath was very spacious, so we could relax at length. Our dog was also thrilled with walks through the pine grove and along the sandy beach. If we have another chance to visit Awaji Island, we’d love to stay here again.

A luxurious Facility where extraordinary koi swim. We were able to enjoy a sand bath, a ceramic bath experience, and a private open-air bath at no additional charge. All staff were kind and provided attentive service. The Japanese cuisine served at the Yakusugi cedar counter was exquisite, with tropical fruits used throughout that were as beautiful to look at as they were delicious. The entire property was spotless and impeccably maintained, and the star-filled sky we gazed at late at night from the free-flowing natural hot spring open-air bath in our room was beyond words.

A calm Accommodation in a quiet, secluded area with hardly any traffic noise, where you can truly feel time pass peacefully. The meals weren’t overly large and the number of dishes was modest, but each one was carefully prepared and delicious. It was an adult-oriented Accommodation where you can genuinely relax and unwind.

I think this Accommodation is very comfortable for solo travelers. I was worried about using the bath because I wanted to use it as many times as I liked whenever I wanted, but I was able to enjoy it to my full satisfaction. Breakfast also offered a generous variety. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to come back anytime. The shakuhachi performance was also a refreshing experience.

This was a wonderful Accommodation where the owners’ sense of style and hospitality were evident in every detail. The clean Room, the handmade garden, and the carefully prepared meals were all warm and comforting, and we felt truly relaxed. Rather than the standardized service of a large Facility, we could really feel how much they love this place and are devoted to nurturing it. My elderly mother also said she would definitely like to come again, so we will surely visit again. Thank you very much.

This was my first time visiting Yuda Onsen. It was very comfortable, as we could use the elevator both for going to the hot springs and for meals. The portion sizes were just right, and I was pleasantly surprised by a new way of eating fugu sashimi with sesame oil and salt. Breakfast was also excellent—I enjoyed egg over rice with freshly shaved bonito flakes and even had seconds. The young proprietress and all the staff were very kind, so we had a wonderful stay. I would like to visit again.

It’s rare to enjoy this level of cuisine, hot springs, and service at this price, and the garden is also wonderful. The facilities are impeccably clean. It stands out even among Japan’s luxury ryokan.

We visited during the Obon holidays, and the drive was not crowded at all. The Accommodation is in a great location, just a short walk to Irago Cape Lighthouse. Right in front is Koiji-ga-hama Beach, and we were able to relax at the Accommodation while enjoying the beautiful ocean view. The proprietress, the young proprietress, and all the staff were wonderfully pleasant and welcoming. We have stayed at many Ryokan and Hotels, but we think this place is the best. The food was also excellent, and we were completely satisfied with everything. We would like to take good care of the hibiscus we received on our way home—thank you very much. We would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed here to see the crystal-clear “Lake Biwa Blue,” and this hotel exceeded our expectations!! From the courteous service by the male front desk staff to the moment we entered our lake-view room—we were truly moved. The view spreading out before us made us gasp in delight. The room was spotless, and the bed-making was truly five-star quality. With amenities like a massage chair, we could relax comfortably just staying in the room. Dinner featured a wonderful selection of dishes that were clearly not pre-made—each one reflecting the chef’s refined sense of aesthetics. We also enjoyed the seasonal tableware at a leisurely pace. After dinner, we took a walk along Lake Biwa, soothed our tiredness in the private family bath, and went to bed early. The next morning, we watched migratory birds flying over Lake Biwa and admired a beautiful sunrise, starting the day feeling refreshed. This is a hotel we would definitely love to visit again!! The hot springs were wonderful. My skin felt silky-smooth in the water. The samue loungewear was great, with elastic at the wrists and ankles, and the fabric felt gentle on the skin. Even though the hotel was fully booked, I was able to enjoy the large public bath as if it were private. The open-air bath in the room was also spacious, and I imagine it must be stunning during cherry blossom or hydrangea season—though it may be hard to get a reservation because it’s so popular. The meals were all delicious as well, including corn soup, cheese chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), Jerusalem artichoke chips, and mukago (wild yam bulbils). I found an inn I would truly love to visit again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Whenever I find some free time, I visit Sunset Susami to relax. But what impresses me most is the people who work here. No matter when I come, everyone is kind, and even the newly hired staff (including international staff) explain the dishes in Japanese—you can really feel how hard they are trying. From check-in to meals, they do their very best to provide warm hospitality, and it makes me feel grateful and comforted. There may not be flashy or luxurious facilities, but the rooms, lobby, and restrooms are always kept spotless and well cleaned. Whenever I stay here, I can always head home feeling refreshed. I didn’t get to see the manager this time, but please take good care of yourself.

This is a perfect Accommodation no matter when you visit. It was Kyoto in extreme heat, but thanks to your thoughtful care in many ways, we had a wonderful time. The pike conger is a must in this season; it is an additional-order dish, but highly recommended. We are planning to visit again in autumn.

The relaxing Facility, the charming Room, the wonderful cuisine, and the silky Onsen I could stay in forever—everything was exceptional. The staff’s warm smiles and attentive hospitality made it even better. This is the first Accommodation where I truly didn’t want to leave because it felt so comfortable. I would love to visit again. We stayed here as a couple to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was an even more wonderful hotel than we expected, and our stay—from arrival to departure—was satisfying from start to finish. As someone originally from Nagoya, the TV Tower has been familiar to me since childhood, though it has been 25 years since I left the city. I was truly surprised and moved that such a beautiful hotel had been created here. From the warm welcome on arrival, every member of staff was attentive and kind, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. This time, we were upgraded to a larger room as a Diamond member benefit—what a lovely surprise! The welcome sweets were adorable and absolutely delicious. The view from the room was outstanding, of course. The art displayed throughout the hotel was also captivating, giving the entire property its own unique atmosphere. There were new discoveries everywhere we walked, and we thoroughly enjoyed the art tour as well. Searching for artworks together as a couple became a fun memory too (laugh). And the night view from the observation deck—an exclusive perk for guests—was truly breathtaking! We could take in all of Nagoya’s nightscape at once, making it an unforgettable moment. The hidden-door entrance leading up to the deck was incredibly stylish; its playful touch made us genuinely excited. Breakfast lived up to its reputation—delicious in every way—and we enjoyed a luxurious, happy morning while taking in the amazing view. My wife loved it too and said, “No.1 among all the hotels we’ve ever stayed at!” We’re truly happy to have found a hotel that satisfied both of us wholeheartedly. Thanks to everyone’s heartfelt hospitality, our 25th wedding anniversary became a wonderful memory we will never forget for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much to all of your staff for such an incredible experience. Whenever we visit Nagoya again, we would love to stay here again. This was my second visit this year, and it’s soothing no matter when I come. The service strikes just the right balance of attentiveness and privacy, the rooms are spacious, and the meals keep evolving—overall, it’s a place with an exceptionally high level of satisfaction. 　This time in particular, the breakfast—renewed since this spring—was outstanding. In contrast to the gorgeous French dinner, it’s a simple Japanese-style meal, but each dish is truly delicious. They’ve also changed how they cook the rice, and the finishing bowl topped with dashi was superb. 　I’m already looking forward to being impressed again on my next visit.

This is an inn I had been curious about for about a year, and I was finally able to make my long-awaited stay come true. At check-in, you kindly explained the history and culture of Ise-Kawasaki in great detail, which truly moved me. The Ise tea and salted yokan served to us were delicious, and the warm, attentive hospitality of the staff member in charge left a lasting impression. The room was a charming space where you could feel the breath of history—spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The beautiful garden view stretching out beyond the room was so captivating that I found myself gazing at it for ages. The amenities were also wonderful, including VMG’s familiar rice bran series and the “Ise Misogi-yu” bath salts. What impressed me most was breakfast. The dishes inspired by the tradition of “Shinsen,” offerings presented to the deities at the Grand Shrine, had deep, comforting flavors that reflected both craftsmanship and heartfelt care. It brought me a profound sense of peace and healing as I felt connected to the local climate and history. I also appreciated being able to enjoy Ise udon at breakfast—something I had missed during my trip—which was such a thoughtful touch. At check-out, you gladly took commemorative photos in front of the main building and warmly saw us off until we were out of sight; that moment remains vividly in my heart even now. It was clear that everyone on staff truly cherishes Ise’s history and culture. This stay reminded me of Japan’s precious sense of beauty—something easily forgotten amid everyday busyness—and made it an unforgettable experience. I would love to return again. Thank you very much for such a heartwarming and wonderful time.

The private family bath was spacious and even had a waterfall feature, with the water at just the right temperature, so we could soak and relax. The atmosphere of the large public bath was also wonderful. The meals featured local ingredients, the portions were just right, and we were very satisfied! If you have mobility issues, going up and down to the first floor may be difficult, but it was a quiet place to spend time. We’d love to visit again after a hike in the mountains.

The first thing you’ll remember after your stay is the exceptional cleanliness—truly the best I’ve experienced. The next is the quantity and quality of the meals: home-style cooking, yet incredibly delicious. I believe all of this comes from the warm, kind-hearted hospitality of the staff, led by the proprietress. She doesn’t speak much, but her words were wonderful. It became a truly memorable trip.

Choosing Richmond was the right decision. There’s a 24-hour supermarket next door, plenty of parking, and the event venue is also nearby—overall, we were very satisfied!

We had a wonderful time enjoying activities such as exploring caves by pleasure boat and at the private beach, and collecting sea glass. What impressed us most was how comfortable the bedding was. We slept very well and would love to use similar bedding at home. If you don’t mind, we would be grateful if you could tell us the manufacturer and product name of the bedding you use.
