While looking for an Accommodation on the way from Ise to the Kumano Kodo, I found this place. As the Reviews said, it was a simple yet very good Accommodation. I enjoyed the instant miso soup at night and in the morning, and the breakfast bento and coffee were also delicious. The staff were very friendly as well.

I wasn’t sure if we would be able to come due to the typhoon, but they were very accommodating.\nThe Facility was well maintained, and the dog run was just the right size for our dog, who happily ran around.\nWe really appreciated being given rice for dinner.\nThe Room felt like a living room at home and had all the necessary appliances, such as a rice cooker and microwave, which we could use freely.\nThe owner was also very kind, and I’d like to stay here again when visiting Kumamoto.\nIt was a wonderful trip. Thank you.

I stayed for two nights as a solo traveler (no dinner, breakfast included). The building itself seems old, but the interior was very clean and I had a comfortable stay. Based on the Accommodation Fee, I had certain expectations, but it exceeded them. I’m glad I chose to stay at Marumo. Thank you very much!

Time passed at a relaxed pace, and I truly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel. The view from the window was absolutely beautiful. The grouper course was very generous in portion size, and every dish tasted exceptional. The warm hospitality also made me feel comfortable. My family said they would love to come again.

All staff were very friendly, and the Hotel was beautifully decorated with lots of art, making for a wonderful stay. The shampoo and other amenities had a great fragrance. At breakfast and the reception, it felt like about 80–90% of the guests were international tourists, and you could often hear English. It made me feel like I was abroad. There was also a “Morning Starter” service where you can enjoy a drink at the first-floor restaurant, which was stylish and appreciated.

They were extremely kind. The next day, I tried to book a sightseeing taxi, but none were available and I was in trouble. A member of the Hotel staff kindly showed me around for half a day. Thank you so much. It may be rude to say this, but I was surprised to find such a wonderful Hotel in Oki.

Only the representative needed to register in advance, but signatures from all guests were required at check-in, and the tablet interface was a bit hard to understand. The Hotel was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay.

Even after setting the navigation system, the destination disappeared along the way. Feeling a bit uneasy, we followed the signboards and drove deeper into the mountains on narrow roads—then suddenly, there was the Accommodation entrance. The warm light that appeared in that moment was a real relief. The staff’s welcome and service were also very courteous. We headed straight to the private indoor bath in our Room. Just as I was about to soak in the retro-style tub that felt like an old hot-spring cure retreat, a large hornet—stuck and unable to get out through the window—greeted us first. We somehow dealt with it using the free-flowing natural hot spring water (quite hot). Once adjusted to just the right temperature, it felt amazing on the skin and was incredibly relaxing. When my wife took her turn, this time a rhinoceros beetle stopped by to say hello. Just as explained in advance by the Accommodation, we had a rare experience surrounded by rich nature. From the scenic open-air bath, we enjoyed views of mountains stretching out as if they were ours alone. The meals were also carefully prepared. We were able to spend a truly unhurried time here. We recently stayed with our two dogs for a birthday trip. It was our first time at Regina in Lake Yamanaka, and it turned into a truly enjoyable getaway. All of the staff were very kind and welcoming to our dogs as well. The Room was clean and comfortable, and we had a wonderful stay—if anything, we only wished there had been one more Room. The large public bath was also very relaxing. Dinner was Italian, and every dish was delicious; even the bread was excellent, so we were very satisfied. The restaurant seating was spacious, and having space for our cart was a big help. Since it was a birthday celebration, we received an adorable cake and they even took photos for us—such a lovely memory. It was also our first time using the pool, and it seemed like they had fun (haha). The drink bar in the lobby—especially the coffee and apple cider vinegar drink—was delicious and much appreciated. We would love to visit another Regina property as well. Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, due to cloudy and rainy weather, we couldn’t see the starry sky, but we’re already thinking about when to come back for another try. There was a warm, homey atmosphere among guests as well—people asked questions and helped each other out. The drink corner was a great idea, but even after trying many times, no ice came out, and there were a few things that were unclear. An elderly guest seemed troubled because the coffee wouldn’t stop dispensing. I think it would be helpful to post easy-to-understand instructions. At mealtimes, the staff serving us were all foreigners, but they were very polite. Their Japanese was quite limited at times so we didn’t always understand what they said, but we could generally guess from the context and had no issues. One thing that stood out compared with other hotels I’ve stayed at: since it’s a quiet Hotel I thought this might be normal here, but I was surprised that none of the staff said “good morning” to guests in the morning. When my husband passed by the front desk he greeted them first; they may not have heard him, but they were chatting among themselves and didn’t greet guests even as people walked right in front of them. In contrast, the foreign staff in the restaurant—even with limited Japanese—did say “good morning.” Also, the Onsen was wonderful, but there is no fan in the changing room. Having one would help guests cool down more easily and might reduce crowding there. The large public bath and open-air bath are very comfortable and warm you up well. The green view from the open-air bath—and in the morning, clouds or mist drifting over the mountains—felt truly unique. The meals were a good portion size and showed creativity within their price range. Dinner offered an enjoyable mix of Japanese- and Western-style dishes with plenty of variety. Breakfast was buffet-style with many options including both Western and Japanese items as well as desserts; everyone seemed to be enjoying it. The highland area is beautiful—it feels like it could even become a villa resort area someday. We also visited Relaxia Forest next to the Hotel (apparently used as a movie filming location). It’s a lovely forest where we could enjoy forest bathing too. There don’t seem to be any other Hotels around this area, so we’d like to stay again.

I stayed here for one night on a trip to Kyoto. I often stay in Kyoto and Nara, and this place has the unique comfort of a compact hotel. It feels very cozy, the Facilities are well equipped, and overall satisfaction is high. Although the hours are limited, it’s wonderful that there are complimentary drinks. Having local Kyoto sake is a service that makes travelers very happy. I was delighted to find the same sake I had at Kyoto Station on my way back. It might be nice if it were available for purchase as well. The front desk staff were kind—I enjoyed talking about sake with them—and they replenished breakfast at just the right times, so I had a very comfortable stay. Kyoto summers are hot, so I’d like to visit again after peak season. Thank you very much.

Despite my sudden late-night stay, you kindly checked me in. Thank you so much...! It was a single room, and the bed was quite fluffy. Breakfast mainly featured Chinese congee, and there were also rice dishes. I had the seafood congee, and it was very delicious! However, since the lobby is on the second floor, you might be a little confused when entering. I was too... Also, because it was late at night, I entered from the elevator-only entrance rather than the main entrance. USB adapters can be borrowed from the front desk counter.

We stayed in a pet-friendly Room. We have used many Hotels before and expected some odor since dogs stay there, but at this Hotel my wife and daughter, who are sensitive to smells, were happy to say they didn’t notice any at all. Also, when we mentioned that our dog cannot stay alone in the Room, we truly appreciated your thoughtful consideration. Thanks to your kindness, it was a refreshing trip for us.

I truly appreciate that you arranged all of my requests. The property is thoroughly cleaned, and although compact, the rooms are functional and kept impeccably tidy. Most notably, the simple breakfast is wonderfully delicious—especially the miso soup, which is outstanding. The morning miso soup alone is reason enough for me to promise I’ll return.

It’s wonderful to find such a large garden in the heart of Tokyo. I was able to forget about everyday life and truly relax. There were so many international guests that it almost felt like being abroad. The staff were also very kind, and I had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

This was our first time in Inatori, and I stayed here with my elderly mother for the first time as well. There were six of us in total, including my wife and children. The food was incredibly delicious and everyone was very satisfied. Since my child’s birthday was coming up, we requested a cake, and they brought it out as an after-dinner surprise—my child was thrilled. My mother especially loved the open-air bath at the large public bath and happily went back and forth between our Room and the baths many times. I felt it was a wonderful way to show her appreciation. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, so I’d like to bring her again on a clear day so she can enjoy the spectacular view from that open-air bath.

We stayed with you at the beginning of August. We visited with 2 adults and 3 children (6th grade, 3rd grade, and kindergarten), and everyone was extremely satisfied. Our Room was the Deluxe Kousuiden with an open-air bath, and the atmosphere of the private open-air bath was amazing—our kids went in so many times we lost count! (LOL) Of course, the shared baths were also excellent, and since towels are provided there, we never had to worry about running out no matter how many times we bathed. The dinner buffet wasn’t “buffet-level” at all—it was truly delicious! The sushi, steak, and Häagen-Dazs were all fantastic. It was so good that I even managed to drink less alcohol than usual (LOL). The Facility options for kids were also great (arcade games, lounge, water play area outside the lounge, table tennis, etc.), and our family promised we would definitely come back. Also, my wife accidentally left her wallet in the safe when we checked out. Since we had to catch the dinosaur train, we didn’t have time to go back for it—but your staff checked immediately and reassured us so we could keep enjoying our day without worry. It arrived by mail the day after we got home, which really helped. We’ll definitely come visit again!

I stayed in a twin Room with a friend. Hotel pillows usually don’t suit me, but they offer Tempur pillow rentals, which was a big help! The Room was clean, and the unit bath was also spotless. It was quiet and comfortable. Above all, the location is great and very convenient—perfect when you have things to do in Tokyo and want to get around easily. The amenities were more than sufficient, and I really appreciated having four bottles of water. Next time, I’d like to stay in a Room with a separate bath and toilet.

The bathroom and toilet were separate, and the view of Kobe’s downtown from the bath made it feel like a semi-open-air bath—it was truly wonderful! There was no noise at all, so it was very quiet and I could relax comfortably. Breakfast was on the top floor with an amazing view, and I felt great lounging on the stylish sofas! The Chinese rice porridge was delicious, and I was happy there were lots of side dishes to go with it. Having roast beef in the morning also felt luxurious—absolutely fantastic. With direct access from the station and an affordable supermarket right below the Hotel, everything was convenient and comfortable.

Three generations of our family, including myself, stayed here. We truly appreciated the thoughtful care shown throughout our stay, especially the consideration for my mother, who has difficulty walking, and we were able to relax comfortably. When we visit Arima Onsen again, we would love to stay here. Thank you very much.
