It may sound a bit exaggerated, but it felt like going back to my family home—catching up on how things have been lately and, if the mood struck, stopping by places I was recommended. Meals were unpretentious, and bathing felt just like soaking in our own tub at home. I was able to truly relax.

It was a wonderful stay. The exterior is charming, and the interior—including the Room—was very clean and well maintained overall. The bed had just the right firmness, and I slept very well. Having an on-site restaurant was also very convenient. And the food was delicious. The location is excellent, and we had no inconveniences at all. The staff were also very courteous and helpful. I would love to stay again.

I love Niigata in midwinter, but I also really enjoy Niigata in the season of wild mountain vegetables after the snow melts. In terms of Onsen Ryokan within the prefecture, I have previously stayed at Satoyama Jujo, HATAGO Issen, ryugon, Hinano Yado Chitose, and Rankei-so. Each Accommodation was unique and charming, and this time I was finally able to visit Shiki Yuzawa QUATTRO, which I had been curious about for a while. As you can probably tell from the above, we travel around various Accommodations because we like places with great food. From that perspective—this is how my spouse and I both felt—the breakfast side dishes were good, but not “exceptionally delicious.” As for the seaweed (“nori”), it had a color and taste we had never seen before, which made us wonder: had this processed product changed over time? Or is this its intended final form in terms of appearance and seasoning? It left us feeling a bit uneasy. Perhaps for guests who usually select ingredients carefully and cook at home on a regular basis, it may not be especially impressive. That said, we truly appreciate that they prepared such a large number of dishes at the in-room chair-and-table seating area and offered their very best hospitality. We felt they were doing everything they could to provide a comfortable stay despite limited staff and time. We would recommend it more to guests with a hearty appetite who have no concerns about their legs or knees. This is because getting into a bathtub without handrails can become difficult as you get older. Both the indoor bath and open-air bath in the room continuously supplied Onsen water, so we could soak at a comfortable temperature again the next morning. We also enjoyed relaxing on the second-floor terrace. Since this season is neither too hot nor too cold—and there are no bugs—why not plan a trip now? The room seemed renovated and was very clean, and there was also a hair straightener in addition to the hair dryer. We were satisfied with the amenities! Thank you to everyone for your kind assistance throughout our stay. The large public bath at Sakura-tei was also nearby, so getting there was easy.

I stayed in the "Gakuajisai" room this time. Each room is separate, allowing for a very quiet and peaceful stay. However, as I did not thoroughly check during the Reservation process, I ended up booking a room with only an open-air bath and no indoor bath. The changing area was inconvenient to use; the floor got wet, making it difficult to put on my yukata. The meals were absolutely delicious. They featured plenty of seasonal ingredients, which left me completely satisfied. All the staff members were calm and provided courteous service.

The hospitality felt more like a luxury Ryokan than a temple lodging. Our Room was upgraded to a special suite, and we were able to relax in the spacious “Hojo” Room overlooking an expansive garden. The shojin-ryori cuisine was beautifully presented and delicious throughout. After dinner, we took a short walk (about 3 minutes) to Danjo Garan. With bonfires lit and the area illuminated, we caught a glimpse of Kobo Daishi’s mandala world through sights such as Konpon Daito, Saito Pagoda, and Kondo Hall. The next morning, we joined the morning service from 6:00 a.m., which felt truly solemn and moving. The Dharma talk by Archbishop Miyata explained Buddhism from a global perspective with humor, making it easy to understand. I strongly feel that Koyasan is best experienced with an overnight stay. My wife and I stayed here together. All of the staff were very kind, and we had a truly pleasant stay—thank you. The entire building is over 200 years old, full of character, and has a calm atmosphere. It has been renovated well overall, but we found the layout a little difficult to navigate. Why was the washbasin separated from the bathroom? Also, the placement of items in the changing area felt odd. When using the hair dryer, it took us quite a while to find an outlet. These were our only two concerns; otherwise, we were very comfortable throughout our stay. The food here is genuinely delicious—simple dishes that bring out the best in each ingredient. This is an inn we definitely want to visit again!

The breathtaking ocean view stretching out beyond the large windows was truly spectacular—it felt like being abroad in an amazing location! We brought together delicious ingredients purchased nearby and enjoyed a lively, fun dinner with our family of five and our dog. Both the kids and our dog were thrilled, and we were completely satisfied. All of the staff were very kind and helpful, and we truly appreciate it. Thank you!

As the title says, I used this Hotel as a base during my sightseeing trip in Nagoya. It was about a 15-minute walk from the station to the Hotel, so I walked there. It was a very hot day, and although I walked through the underground shopping area for part of the way, once I came up to street level I immediately started sweating. I was thirsty, so the complimentary bottled water I received upon arrival at the Hotel was really helpful. In summer, it would have been even better if it had been chilled. The Hotel itself was quiet, and since it’s located away from the station, I couldn’t hear any noise from crowds or footsteps in the hallway. With the pillow I chose, I slept comfortably for the first time in a while, which was great. I checked in early and was able to choose my pillow, so that worked out well. Breakfast items like miso katsu and eel were delicious, but they felt similar to breakfasts at other hotels and didn’t leave much of an impression. If there had been one standout dish that really stuck with me, I might have given it five stars. It’s a Hotel I’d like to use again if I visit Nagoya in the future.

The building isn’t new, but it was clearly well maintained and very clean! It was a pet-friendly Room, but there was no noticeable odor at all. We were very satisfied with the Room!! The pool is available from 9:00 to 17:00, but since check-out is at 10:00, using the pool in the morning feels a bit rushed. I thought it would be nicer if check-out were at 11:00 so we could relax more. Next time, I’d like to come back for a Multiple Night Stay and take it easy!

The Room was much more spacious than I expected, and the amenities were well stocked. The morning coffee service and easy microwave snacks were also great. The only thing I noticed—just a minor detail—was that when you enter and open the door, the entry step area extends to the right, which made it hard to take off shoes and close the door (my shoes could get caught in the door). If that space extended a bit more to the left instead of the right, it might be easier to come and go, so I rated the Facility 4. That said, everything was very comfortable, starting with the front desk staff’s service. The Room was truly spacious with a sofa and very clean. Going out into Otaru and returning to the Accommodation also felt easier and more casual than at a typical large Hotel. If I have another chance, I would definitely like to stay again.

We stayed here for a girls’ golf trip. The weather on the day of play was terrible—the fairways were muddy and in awful condition, and fog rolled in from the afternoon so we couldn’t even see 100 yards ahead. However, our stay in the room was very comfortable, and the meals were delicious—we were very satisfied. We’d love to come back and try again on a sunny day. One note: after turning left at the Oiwake traffic light on National Route 18, there was road construction and heavy traffic. The road was narrow and unfamiliar, and we couldn’t pass oncoming cars without backing up, which was difficult. The hotel is away from town, so it’s very quiet and highly recommended. We definitely want to stay again.

They provided clear, courteous explanations via LINE even before our stay, which made everything easy to understand. During the stay, they also sent updates via LINE, so we had nothing to worry about. When we entered the Room, it was clean and smelled wonderful. The tableware and cooking utensils were well stocked, so we had no inconvenience. There were only a few amenities, but since preferences vary, it didn’t bother us. There is no TV, but we watched movies on the projector—it felt luxurious on a big screen. We stayed mainly for the sauna, and it was piping hot—very satisfying. It would have been even better with a cold plunge bath and relaxation chairs. You can see the Mogami River from the Room and the bath—it’s very soothing. It was an excellent sauna trip overall.

The Room and the bath were both very clean and lovely. On the first floor, there was a library-like space where I could read magazines and enjoy drinks from the drink bar, which was very relaxing after taking a bath. All of the staff were pleasant and kind. I’d like to stay here again!

We usually travel as a couple a few times a year, mainly to Hakone, but this time we stayed one night at “Rinpo Kiryū” for our first family trip, including several celebrations. We have had the chance to visit many Accommodations, but we have never encountered one as wonderful as this—everything from start to finish was truly moving. We arrived about an hour before check-in time, yet we were warmly welcomed without hesitation. From the lovely commemorative photos for our celebration to the heartfelt message card with a photo, we were touched by the surprise hospitality and thoughtful care. We are genuinely grateful to have made so many unforgettable memories for our family trip. Thank you very much. Above all, what deserves special mention is the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From greeting us on arrival to seeing us off at the end, every moment was outstanding, and we were able to spend a truly relaxing time. Our assigned staff member was incredibly kind and always smiling; we enjoyed chatting with them, and our whole family was impressed by their attentive care down to the smallest details. The guidance around the property—like a paradise far removed from everyday life—was also thorough and considerate, and everyone we met greeted us with warm smiles that put us at ease. The Room was very spacious and kept beautifully clean. The bed was also ideal for us—comfortable without sinking in or feeling overly soft. (My wife is quite particular about beds and rarely says this at other Accommodations; I was surprised when she said she wanted to stay another night and didn’t want to go home yet.) During our stay, there was a private open-air Onsen bath exclusively for our Room with free-flowing water from 100% natural source spring water—no added water or heating—from the rare Dogashima Onsen source said to be “legendary,” so we could enjoy an Onsen soak anytime we liked. In addition, there is an indoor hinoki Onsen bath, a private sauna, and even a pool, which allowed our family to enjoy many different experiences together. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious; each dish was beautifully presented with great care and full of creative ideas from the chef. There were also many staff members on hand—the service felt perfect. In my experience so far, it’s rare to find an Accommodation where service is this attentive in every respect. More than anything else, being able to stay at “Rinpo Kiryū” became a wonderful experience for our family. Thank you again very much. We would love to visit again.

I have stayed here before and returned again after a while. This time, I was delighted to find that a new private sauna had been added. It was great to be able to use it freely at my preferred time without worrying about others, and I enjoyed it many times during my stay. The sofa had also been replaced, and as a repeat guest, I was happy to see not only new facilities being added but also careful maintenance and gradual improvements being made. The room was clean, the facilities and amenities were well stocked, and I had another comfortable stay. My dog also relaxed and enjoyed the dog run, so both owner and pet were very satisfied. I would definitely like to stay again.

I stayed here for a hike on Onyujima Island and to visit the Nokasayama war ruins. It was a very well-located Hotel, close to Saiki Station and the highway bus stop from Oita Airport. The ferry terminal for Onyujima Island is also about a 10-minute walk away, which was very convenient. Leaflets for nearby restaurants were available in the Hotel lobby, and the recommended place “Toritomi” had amazing chicken tataki. This time I didn’t have enough time to sightsee around Saiki Castle, so I’d like to visit Saiki again. I’ll stay here again next time.

Great location, and the room was spotless—very satisfied.

It was a very clean Hotel, and I had a comfortable stay. In addition to the welcome drink, I was grateful to receive one free drink per night from the vending machine. Although my plan was No Meals Included, I would like to stay with breakfast included next time if I have the chance.

During our stay, every staff member provided attentive hospitality, and our whole family had a very comfortable time. We also greatly appreciated your prompt help with an item we left behind. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

It was my first stay in six years, and I felt that the calm, natural atmosphere is always maintained by the staff and throughout the entire Facility. The comfortable Room and the private pool in the quiet villa allowed me to relax without worrying about anyone else. The staff’s sense of distance was also pleasant, and with a touch of Okinawan language, it feels different from the slightly formal atmosphere of a large Hotel—making me want to visit again.
