We stayed here at short notice so my son could attend a rugby training camp. Even with rising prices and during summer vacation, we were able to stay at a great rate—with dinner and breakfast included. Dinner (including chicken hot pot) came with an all-you-can-drink option, and we left completely satisfied. Breakfast was also just the right amount. The Onsen temperature was perfect as well. One thing that concerned me was the surroundings—not the building itself, but the area around it. It’s a shame, because the food and Onsen are excellent. With a bit of tidying up, I think it would feel much nicer. The scenery really matters—atmosphere and charm, too. With hopes for improvement, I’d like to stay again. Thank you as well for accommodating my son when his plan suddenly changed to No Meals Included.

My first time in Minami-Izu—summer vacation at Yumigahama I stayed for two nights at this long-established Accommodation with over 50 years of history, and it turned into the best summer vacation ever. I’m truly grateful. This Accommodation is genuinely wonderful. The quality of the Japanese cuisine, finished by a head chef with an outstanding background, is simply breathtaking—in the best way. Honestly, it’s better than many high-end restaurants! The bath can also be reserved for private use free of charge, which is fantastic. Spacious and spotless, and you can use it anytime 24 hours a day. Above all, what makes this Accommodation truly exceptional is the care, presence, and almost unbelievable hospitality of the staff—led by the proprietress. Everyone is so kind, and it’s incredibly comfortable to be here. It brought back childhood memories of staying at my grandmother’s house during summer vacation… something I naturally remembered again as an adult. There’s something here that no great Hotel or Ryokan can replicate. It’s rare to find an experience where you can relax from the bottom of your heart like this. Next time I’ll visit during the Kawazu cherry blossoms and nanohana season!!

Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay. The building has a charming atmosphere, and we found the Room very clean, allowing us to relax and rest well. The bath was not too hot, so we could soak slowly and comfortably. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious—everything we tried was wonderful. In particular, the rice and miso soup were exceptionally good. Thanks to the warm hospitality of the proprietress and all the staff, we spent our time with smiles. When we stay in Ibaraki again, we would love to return. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a couple. The Room and all Facilities were clean and comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast featured seasonal dishes, all delicious and generously portioned. Above all, the hostess was friendly and fun. We even received a souvenir (seasonal manju) when we left. This trip became a wonderful one for us.

This was our third stay. We visit Tateshina to unwind from the stresses of everyday life, and each time we are most comforted by the meals and the thoughtful hospitality of the couple. I love the stylish atmosphere throughout the pension, and from the moment I make a Reservation until the day we go, I look forward to it with excitement every day. No matter how many times we visit, it’s a place that always makes us want to come back.

The front desk service is pleasant. This Ryokan offers a calm stay without overly attentive hospitality.

We stayed for one night from July 4 to 5. The building looks quite old from the outside, but the interior has been beautifully renovated, and we had a very comfortable stay. My spouse and I travel every year, and this place was a real find. Every dish was delicious, and there was so much food that we were completely full—very satisfying. Above all, the hostess’s personality made the biggest impression. Her warm, pleasant hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable. We would love to return if we have the chance again. Thank you very much for everything.

The day before, we stayed in Takamatsu and traveled for about 5 hours, so we were a bit tired and couldn't visit the lighthouse on the Sadamisaki Peninsula. We stayed as a family of three with my wife and child. We were warmly welcomed by the young hostess and the hostess, who guided us to our room. The room featuring Ebisu holding up a sea bream was very clean, with every corner thoroughly cleaned. The bath was spacious and allowed for a relaxing soak. In the evening, we were greeted by Kintaro the cat before dinner. The Ise lobster served at dinner was incredibly sweet, and we also enjoyed fresh sashimi caught using single-line fishing methods—it was delicious! Everyone was satisfied with the beautifully presented dishes served in exquisite tableware. Breakfast surprised us as it came in an elegant multi-tiered box; it had so many items that it felt like another dinner! We left completely full. On our way back, we stopped at JA's direct sales store in Iyo to purchase 10kg of early-season mikan at a great price. We definitely want to stay here again next time! We're also considering traveling via Kumamoto or taking the ferry route from Saganoseki.

This is my second stay, two years in a row. I came to Taketomi Island because I wanted to relax at this Accommodation. It’s very clean, the air feels wonderful, and the Room is truly comfortable. Breakfast is prepared in the refrigerator, so I really appreciate being able to spend my time at my own pace 24 hours a day. They also made a dinner Reservation for me, provided Shuttle Service to the ferry terminal, and offered delicious welcome fruit—those thoughtful touches made me very happy.

I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but during my stay here I didn’t interact with other guests at all—it felt almost like a private rental, which was wonderful. The entire property, the Room, and the baths were all impeccably maintained—excellent. Both breakfast and dinner were served in the Room, and the staff member who assisted us left a great impression. There were two private baths available without a Reservation, and there was also an open-air bath. If I had to mention one thing, it didn’t really feel like an Onsen. In any case, it was the best relaxation experience.

I stayed for one night during the New Year. I have stayed at various accommodations converted from traditional townhouses, but this one was exceptionally spacious and thoughtfully designed. It was clear that the owner wanted guests to enjoy a comfortable stay, not just rent out a space. The accommodation is so spacious that it felt luxurious for just two people. I also appreciated the free bicycles provided. Thank you very much!

This seaside Accommodation was wonderful, with a beautiful ocean stretching out right in front of us. It also has a semi-open-air Onsen bath, so you can relax and enjoy the Onsen while taking in the sea view. Dinner used very fresh ingredients—of course the just-caught spiny lobster was excellent, and the other seafood dishes were outstanding as well. The seasoning was simple, letting you fully enjoy the natural flavors of each ingredient. The portions were generous, and even I—someone who eats a lot—was completely satisfied. The Room was clean, and it was a nice bonus that the drinks in the refrigerator were free—it felt like great value. The owner and his wife were also very kind; they even delivered something we left behind to the station, which truly helped us. This is an Accommodation I would definitely like to stay at again.

I had an errand in Takachiho and ended up needing to stay one night on short notice, so I stayed at Tenwa. They were very kind and helpful, which really saved me. For the bath, I received a ticket for the nearby Amanoiwato-yu and used it. Breakfast was also great—especially the miso soup and the salmon with tartar sauce. I’m sorry for any trouble we caused when my young child ran around upstairs. If we have the chance again, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

Conveniently located right near Yunotsu Onsen Motoyu and Yakushiyu, the Room was clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meals. It’s far from where I live, but I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance. If your schedule allows, be sure to watch the Iwami Kagura held at Ryugozen Shrine.

It was our first time staying here, and it was a wonderful home. The Facility was well equipped. The amenities were plentiful. We truly appreciated the owner’s thoughtful hospitality. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.

The room had been renovated and was very comfortable. The open-air bath was a good size and very enjoyable. Above all, the quality of the hot spring water was excellent. Dinner felt a bit too plentiful. The yakiniku was charcoal-grilled, but the indoor ventilation wasn’t strong enough, so the room filled with smoke and it was quite difficult; I would have preferred options like grilling in the kitchen or teppanyaki-style cooking on a ceramic plate with solid fuel. I didn’t expect much sashimi in Yufuin, and at my age I’m tired of typical Japanese kaiseki dishes such as chawanmushi and tempura.

As this Accommodation has only just opened and there weren’t many Reviews yet, we arrived feeling a bit nervous, but we had a wonderful time with our dog. We chose the Plan with two meals included, and the BBQ dinner came with an amazing variety of ingredients: surf clams, whelks, whole grilled squid, atka mackerel, beef, pork, chicken, seasonal vegetables, plus soup curry to finish and even dessert—so we were completely full. There was plenty of food, but because it was simply seasoned with salt and pepper it felt light and let us fully enjoy the natural flavors. Since the BBQ is on the terrace, I recommend checking sunset time and setting your schedule accordingly. We started after dark this time and ended up having a BBQ in low light. Until we noticed there was a terrace lantern provided on the living room table, we did our best eating while lighting things up with our phone flashlight. In the morning they delivered a breakfast set to our Room, and we enjoyed a relaxing meal on the terrace while looking out at Mt. Komagatake. The salad, eggs, and milk were all delicious—an excellent menu that really let us savor Hokkaido’s bounty. The most moving part of this stay was the star-filled night sky. With no surrounding lights at all, countless stars spread across the entire sky—it was so beautiful we could have watched forever—and it became an unforgettable family memory. There is also a fireplace in the living room, so I’m sure it would be warm in winter with an equally wonderful view. We’d love to stay again. Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. Having the entire house to ourselves, we were able to relax in the traditional home and enjoy spending time looking out over the islands of the Seto Inland Sea and the ocean. Strolling around Mitarai also brought back nostalgic scenery, but since we visited on a weekday, it was a pity that many shops and Facilities were closed. Even so, thank you for accommodating our request to try lemon zenzai!

It was another comfortable stay. We apologize for the trouble caused by my friend’s forgotten item, and we truly appreciate your kind and attentive support. The breakfast we were looking forward to was exactly as expected—both the fresh juice and the rice were delicious. We enjoyed a hearty meal with an extra serving of rice before heading out sightseeing. We also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, as well as the lounge in the evening and the coffee service in the morning. In Kyoto we end up walking a lot, so it was wonderful to relax in the spacious bathtub to ease our tiredness, then unwind and chat in the lounge. This is a Hotel in Gion with great access for getting around on foot. We will visit again.
