I have stayed at NIPPONIA in other locations before, but we chose this Accommodation because it is close to Chichibugahama Beach. It seems well suited for longer stays, with a spacious kitchen that was very easy to use. The two-story maisonette layout also provided plenty of privacy; the three of us stayed as a family and each of us could relax at our own pace. We could walk to Chichibugahama Beach, and although it was extremely hot, we enjoyed morning and evening walks. Since dining options are a bit far away, it was slightly inconvenient without a car. It might be nice if in-Room dining were available as an option as well. This time we also ordered an optional cake, and they kindly consulted with us from the planning stage, making it a wonderful birthday and trip with great memories. I would love to come back and take it easy again in another season.

This was our second overnight trip with our dog, and our first time staying at an Accommodation with a dog run. The goal of this trip was to find a way to travel without putting any strain on our dog, and I feel we found one answer here. It was a very satisfying experience. Our dog tends to hold in pee and poop when we travel, but here, being able to touch the pleasant grass at all times helped him relieve himself as he normally does at home. He’s also a timid dog who tends to keep his distance from strangers and other dogs, but the calm nature of the owner and Rani-chan and the others really helped him relax. In addition to how well maintained the lawn felt, we could sense thoughtful consideration for dogs in many details—such as the sliding entrance door, ramps, cute bowls, and even a night-time dog run. For us humans as well, the Room was just the right size, and we found everything very comfortable—the service during meals (we really appreciated being able to use the dining area), and how dishes were served quietly and considerately. One very small suggestion: it might be nice if there were a hook near the entrance for locking up keys. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

This was my first time staying here, and the Facility was well equipped, so I had a very comfortable stay. I was able to forget about work and relax while watching the sunset and sunrise, and I truly felt refreshed. I was also impressed by the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea as seen from the cabin. I’ve been to various glamping sites, but so far this is the best. The only reason I deducted one point is that the shower area in the bathroom is a bit small. Next time, I’d like to try a Multiple Night Stay. Thank you very much.

In a wonderful space, we could truly enjoy delicious food, and the hospitality was outstanding—an Accommodation that makes you want to come back every year. In fact, we really do visit every year. The owner was very kind, and I was truly impressed. We requested breakfast only, and the homemade sandwiches, soup, and yogurt were delicious and more than filling. Heart Rock is nearby, and Tinu Beach is also close—at this beach you can even watch the sunrise. Highly recommended Accommodation.

I mistakenly reserved a plan without dinner, but when I explained the situation, they kindly prepared rice for dinner on the spot. They also recommended a supermarket for shopping, which was very helpful. I truly appreciate their kindness and will definitely visit again next year.

My first time in Minami-Izu—summer vacation at Yumigahama I stayed for two nights at this long-established Accommodation with over 50 years of history, and it turned into the best summer vacation ever. I’m truly grateful. This Accommodation is genuinely wonderful. The quality of the Japanese cuisine, finished by a head chef with an outstanding background, is simply breathtaking—in the best way. Honestly, it’s better than many high-end restaurants! The bath can also be reserved for private use free of charge, which is fantastic. Spacious and spotless, and you can use it anytime 24 hours a day. Above all, what makes this Accommodation truly exceptional is the care, presence, and almost unbelievable hospitality of the staff—led by the proprietress. Everyone is so kind, and it’s incredibly comfortable to be here. It brought back childhood memories of staying at my grandmother’s house during summer vacation… something I naturally remembered again as an adult. There’s something here that no great Hotel or Ryokan can replicate. It’s rare to find an experience where you can relax from the bottom of your heart like this. Next time I’ll visit during the Kawazu cherry blossoms and nanohana season!!

Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay. The building has a charming atmosphere, and we found the Room very clean, allowing us to relax and rest well. The bath was not too hot, so we could soak slowly and comfortably. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious—everything we tried was wonderful. In particular, the rice and miso soup were exceptionally good. Thanks to the warm hospitality of the proprietress and all the staff, we spent our time with smiles. When we stay in Ibaraki again, we would love to return. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a couple. The Room and all Facilities were clean and comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast featured seasonal dishes, all delicious and generously portioned. Above all, the hostess was friendly and fun. We even received a souvenir (seasonal manju) when we left. This trip became a wonderful one for us.

This was our third stay. We visit Tateshina to unwind from the stresses of everyday life, and each time we are most comforted by the meals and the thoughtful hospitality of the couple. I love the stylish atmosphere throughout the pension, and from the moment I make a Reservation until the day we go, I look forward to it with excitement every day. No matter how many times we visit, it’s a place that always makes us want to come back.

The front desk service is pleasant. This Ryokan offers a calm stay without overly attentive hospitality.

We stayed for one night from July 4 to 5. The building looks quite old from the outside, but the interior has been beautifully renovated, and we had a very comfortable stay. My spouse and I travel every year, and this place was a real find. Every dish was delicious, and there was so much food that we were completely full—very satisfying. Above all, the hostess’s personality made the biggest impression. Her warm, pleasant hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable. We would love to return if we have the chance again. The day before, we stayed in Takamatsu and traveled for about 5 hours, so we were a bit tired and couldn't visit the lighthouse on the Sadamisaki Peninsula. We stayed as a family of three with my wife and child. We were warmly welcomed by the young hostess and the hostess, who guided us to our room. The room featuring Ebisu holding up a sea bream was very clean, with every corner thoroughly cleaned. The bath was spacious and allowed for a relaxing soak. In the evening, we were greeted by Kintaro the cat before dinner. The Ise lobster served at dinner was incredibly sweet, and we also enjoyed fresh sashimi caught using single-line fishing methods—it was delicious! Everyone was satisfied with the beautifully presented dishes served in exquisite tableware. Breakfast surprised us as it came in an elegant multi-tiered box; it had so many items that it felt like another dinner! We left completely full. On our way back, we stopped at JA's direct sales store in Iyo to purchase 10kg of early-season mikan at a great price. We definitely want to stay here again next time! We're also considering traveling via Kumamoto or taking the ferry route from Saganoseki.

This is my second stay, two years in a row. I came to Taketomi Island because I wanted to relax at this Accommodation. It’s very clean, the air feels wonderful, and the Room is truly comfortable. Breakfast is prepared in the refrigerator, so I really appreciate being able to spend my time at my own pace 24 hours a day. They also made a dinner Reservation for me, provided Shuttle Service to the ferry terminal, and offered delicious welcome fruit—those thoughtful touches made me very happy.

I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but during my stay here I didn’t interact with other guests at all—it felt almost like a private rental, which was wonderful. The entire property, the Room, and the baths were all impeccably maintained—excellent. Both breakfast and dinner were served in the Room, and the staff member who assisted us left a great impression. There were two private baths available without a Reservation, and there was also an open-air bath. If I had to mention one thing, it didn’t really feel like an Onsen. In any case, it was the best relaxation experience.

I stayed for one night during the New Year. I have stayed at various accommodations converted from traditional townhouses, but this one was exceptionally spacious and thoughtfully designed. It was clear that the owner wanted guests to enjoy a comfortable stay, not just rent out a space. The accommodation is so spacious that it felt luxurious for just two people. I also appreciated the free bicycles provided. Thank you very much!

This seaside Accommodation was wonderful, with a beautiful ocean stretching out right in front of us. It also has a semi-open-air Onsen bath, so you can relax and enjoy the Onsen while taking in the sea view. Dinner used very fresh ingredients—of course the just-caught spiny lobster was excellent, and the other seafood dishes were outstanding as well. The seasoning was simple, letting you fully enjoy the natural flavors of each ingredient. The portions were generous, and even I—someone who eats a lot—was completely satisfied. The Room was clean, and it was a nice bonus that the drinks in the refrigerator were free—it felt like great value. The owner and his wife were also very kind; they even delivered something we left behind to the station, which truly helped us. This is an Accommodation I would definitely like to stay at again.

I had an errand in Takachiho and ended up needing to stay one night on short notice, so I stayed at Tenwa. They were very kind and helpful, which really saved me. For the bath, I received a ticket for the nearby Amanoiwato-yu and used it. Breakfast was also great—especially the miso soup and the salmon with tartar sauce. I’m sorry for any trouble we caused when my young child ran around upstairs. If we have the chance again, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

Conveniently located right near Yunotsu Onsen Motoyu and Yakushiyu, the Room was clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meals. It’s far from where I live, but I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance. If your schedule allows, be sure to watch the Iwami Kagura held at Ryugozen Shrine.
