Ryokan Kikusui-kan

I stayed here alone. The Room was comfortable, with a bath, toilet, and sofa, and the fluffy futon bedding was very cozy. The refrigerator was also a two-door model. As for the meals, a variety of side dishes were beautifully arranged on lovely plates, and I could tell how much care went into the cooking. Everything was delicious. Even the chopsticks were placed in an elegantly wrapped holder, which showed thoughtful attention to detail. Breakfast was colorful and wonderful. Coffee was also served. The proprietress did an excellent job of keeping an eye on guests at all times. I had a very enjoyable time—thank you very much. I hope to stay again if I have the opportunity.

After searching for various accommodations, I chose this one—and it was the right decision, although the location was a bit hard to find. The Room was spacious and clean. The meals used local ingredients and there was more than we could finish. I was happy they served hoya, which is in season right now. It had a cozy, homely atmosphere like a traditional guesthouse. I’d like to stay again.
