Kobe Sannomiya Tokyu REI Hotel

I stayed here when visiting Kobe for a concert at GLION Arena. It was very convenient and close to Sannomiya. The Hotel staff were very welcoming and left a great impression. I was able to refill drinking water for free, which helped me avoid heatstroke in the scorching Kobe heat.

I was on a business trip, but my wife and I stayed here for one night together. After I finished work, I met up with her; she wandered around a bit until 3:00 p.m., then checked in first to rest. She called me urgently to say there was a stink bug in the Room. Well, bugs can happen—but she really can’t handle them... So she contacted the front desk. While she kept an eye on it so it wouldn’t disappear, a Hotel staff member came up and launched an “operation” to capture it without letting it release its smell (lol).Tokyu REI—impressive as expected. Not because the capture itself was amazing, but because they had already brought a key for another Room. According to my wife, even though the bug hadn’t released any smell at all, they still said, “It smells a little—please stay in this Room,” and handed her the key. That put her in such a good mood that she happily enjoyed plenty of drinks that night (lol).Even at checkout the next day, they noticed us and came over to speak with us again. We’re grateful for their kindness—it added an extra touch to make our two days even more memorable.My wife says, “Next time we come to Kobe, we’ll choose this place without hesitation.”
