The staff were exceptionally friendly. They were kind and attentive, and every staff member greeted us as we passed by. The food was delicious, and the service was a pleasure. All rooms had an open, ocean-view setting. This can’t really be helped, but the long layout made getting around a bit tiring.

The renovated Onsen had a wonderful view, and I was able to relax. The dining area also had spacious seating, so it wasn’t crowded and I could enjoy the meal comfortably. However, the light snacks in the lobby were chaotic, with no seats available and a line for check-in, which felt tiring right after arriving. It would be nice if it were more spacious, but I suppose that may not be possible...

It was a very large hotel with a wonderfully retro feel, yet we were able to enjoy our stay without feeling crowded. The hot spring water quality was excellent, and we were very satisfied with the sauna and cold plunge bath as well. The restaurant was spacious, so we could dine without waiting in line. We would love to visit again.

We stayed here for a 50th birthday trip with two classmates from Osaka and two from the Kanto area. Our Room was on the 3rd floor, so the view was of the sea beyond the parking lot. It wasn’t the view shown in the photos, which was disappointing. The bath was a hinoki bath, and the Onsen was great. Google Maps guided us to approach from the stairs side, so we had to take a longer route. There were also two toilets, and the Room was clean, so we had a wonderful time.

We stayed to coincide with the Atami fireworks. We were able to watch from the rooftop with an unobstructed view and fully enjoy the beautiful fireworks. All of the meals were delicious, especially the squid sushi and sweet shrimp. The bath was also clean and nice. The front desk staff were kind and courteous, making this trip a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

This is a very attentive Accommodation. The staff provided clear and courteous explanations. The cuisine was refined, gentle on the body, and we enjoyed a wonderful time pairing it with delicious drinks. The bath was also clean, and the water felt great on the skin. From the in-room bath, we could look out over the sea in Atami while soaking at a relaxed pace. We only visited Kinomiya Shrine for sightseeing, but it was a trip where we could take everything slowly and unwind.

We had a comfortable stay with the whole family to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. Thank you for exceeding our expectations with your responses to our requests. We are truly grateful for the memorable and enjoyable moments you provided.

I have experienced almost all luxury vacations in Japan, but the support here is undoubtedly the best in the country. We ended up staying on a day when a severe cold wave hit, and upon mentioning the cold, they immediately went out to purchase and set up a heater for us. Despite being a large facility, it was impeccably clean with no complaints about cleanliness. Even though it was a vacation stay, their thorough support allowed us to feel at ease during our accommodation. In contrast to another nearby new facility called N ○○tami where even the main power for the sauna wasn’t turned on and inquiries were poorly handled—making it impossible to use the sauna—this place responded promptly to everything we needed. The staff quality here is comparable to that of butlers at The Ritz Hotel. It’s clear that the owner is very competent. The location is also wonderful and provided an excellent change of pace. Thank you so much! On particularly cold days, having heaters in each room would be even better; however, during daytime hours, sunlight streamed in beautifully and kept us warm enough.

The pool was honestly too cold in March, so it wasn’t really possible to swim, but I think it would be perfect in summer. I appreciated the discount because of that. The Room, Facility, and stocked supplies were all high quality, and I was very satisfied. The tea and coffee were also delicious. It’s on a hill, so the view was great. There’s also a 7-Eleven nearby, which was convenient for buying anything we ran out of.

Thank you for hosting us with the yakiniku set included. Although it rained and some of our plans changed, we had a very fulfilling day with the tent sauna, cold plunge bath, table tennis, and BBQ, and we were very satisfied. We would love to stay again.

We stayed here during the fireworks festival in a Room with a fireworks view. I wasn’t sure about the location at first, but we were able to watch the fireworks perfectly from our Room. The Ryokan itself is quite old, but it has been nicely renovated—especially around the bathrooms—so it was very comfortable. The meals were generous and we were very satisfied, and the staff’s service was excellent. With only seven Rooms in total, it’s a small Ryokan, so we didn’t run into other guests in the bath and enjoyed plenty of privacy.

While preserving as much of its charming traditional wooden character as possible, the property has been renovated to be clean and convenient, making it very comfortable to stay in. The manager (or proprietress?) was also wonderful and welcomed us in a relaxed, unpretentious way. Next time, I’d like to bring friends and stay again.

The service and food were wonderful, just as other reviews on different sites said. In particular, Ms. M, our room attendant, was truly impressive—despite being a foreigner, her Japanese was fluent, and her manners and attentiveness were outstanding. We had a very comfortable stay. However, even though it is close to the station, it was difficult for an elderly person while pulling a suitcase, so we would have appreciated a shuttle service... Please consider this for our next visit as well.

It seems this property had just opened in the summer, and I found it while looking for a place to stay in Atami. Since it was right after opening, everything was very clean. You can also enjoy drinks in the lounge. Overall it has a Japanese style, but the rooms are stylishly designed as well—tatami with beds is great. The TV is large, and I was surprised by how many high-end amenities they provide. The best part was the bath. It’s a semi-open-air bath, but it’s impressively spacious for an in-room bath, and the water circulates so you can soak anytime—perfect. Since we were in Atami, we also tried the large public bath on the first floor. That was spacious too, and the open-air rock bath was wonderful. After relaxing in the baths, we had dinner. The dining area is on B1, and it’s incredibly stylish—more like a chic dining spot you’d find in central Tokyo. There were quite a few international staff members as well (perhaps because of the location). Some moments felt a bit awkward at times, but everyone worked hard and left a great impression—it made me want to support them going forward. The food was excellent too—perhaps creative kaiseki cuisine. You could really feel their attention to detail, and everything tasted outstanding. Atami can be crowded with young people around the station area, but this place felt calm and elegant—a space where you can truly unwind. I visit Atami often, and this is definitely an inn I’d love to return to again.

I booked this Ryokan two days before my trip to Atami. It is located near Kinomiya Station, which is within walking distance from Atami. The location was excellent, especially being just a few minutes' walk to Kinomiya Shrine. The room was a typical Ryokan style, offering an authentic experience. Although the angle of the room was slightly awkward, I could still catch a glimpse of the sea. This Ryokan also has table tennis facilities, which provided some simple yet enjoyable entertainment. The onsen bath was small but gave a nice onsen experience. However, there were no facial cleansers available, which might be inconvenient for women. I added breakfast to my stay and enjoyed bread, bananas, boiled eggs, fruits, and drinks. While simple in variety, having breakfast at the Ryokan added to the travel atmosphere nicely.

They responded quickly to all my inquiries from the Reservation stage, so I felt at ease throughout my stay. There were two baths, both available for private use. Since there weren’t many other guests, I could soak whenever I wanted—it was perfect! I also really appreciated the drink bar. Unlimited alcohol and being able to go straight to sleep afterward is something you can’t easily do at home. The Hotel also has karaoke (a DAM room), available until midnight. With unlimited drinks, unlimited karaoke, and unlimited Onsen access, I would have stayed another night if time allowed. I’d love to stay here again when I visit Atami! I was amazed by the ReFa hair dryer!

A wonderful space, rich in artistic ornaments and paintings. It's a shame not to stay for at least two nights. The bath was also excellent with two bathtubs.

I stayed here at the end of 2025. This accommodation, carefully crafted by a travel-loving couple, feels like a hidden retreat for adults. As the facility is relatively new, it seems not widely known yet, but every detail—from the room layout and furniture to amenities and lighting—reflects thoughtful design. The spacious and quiet environment made for an incredibly comfortable stay. The open-air bath was particularly outstanding, offering such comfort that I found myself wanting to take multiple dips while enjoying fresh air breaks in between. The sauna is also available, allowing guests to relax privately without worrying about others. Meals are not provided, and while it’s located slightly away from the center of Yugawara, this adds to its charm as a serene escape where you can truly forget daily life and indulge in the luxury of doing nothing in this hidden retreat-like space.

At the very end of summer vacation, my husband and son insisted on coming here for glamping. As a woman, I was honestly a bit nervous about the Facility and meals—but it was simply the best. 【Check-in】 They explained the Facility to us. At the marché, there were vibrant vegetables and even seafood in a large tank! Some items are free, and others can be exchanged with coins you receive—choosing what to get was so exciting. We booked a Plan with dinner and breakfast included, but the portions were incredible. Even my big-eating husband and son had more than enough with what was included in the Plan! (Any unused coins could be saved for Shizuoka souvenirs or even kept for our next stay.) In the firewood area, there were many different types of wood. The Room already has firewood for cooking, but here you can choose wood to enjoy different sounds and aromas. 【Room】 It felt spotless, and we had no worries about odors or temperature. There are two BBQ areas—one indoors and one outdoors. The indoor side (with an earthen-floor style space) has a kitchen and a large ventilation duct, plus air conditioning, so smoke doesn’t come into the living area. The Room was extremely clean and beautiful. I expected some bugs or smells with glamping—and heat in summer—but it was surprisingly comfortable. There’s a double-sink vanity, two types of hair dryers (including a Repronizer), and even hair irons provided. In addition to pajamas, they also provide samue loungewear for dinner (for both adults and children), so there’s no need to take home clothes that smell like food. 【Onsen & Sauna】 There is an Onsen connected directly to both indoor and outdoor baths, plus a barrel sauna and an impressive cold plunge pool. Ponchos and hats are also available. The bedroom is separated from the bath/changing area/vanity area, so it works well even for two families traveling together. 【Meals】 The commercial refrigerator was stocked with juices, alcoholic drinks, and ice cream! With stylish camping gear like skillets and mess tins—along with ingredients & recipes—our 10-year-old son enthusiastically cooked for us. The thick Shizuoka beef was so tender you barely needed teeth… even the abalone was truly soft! For breakfast you can choose Japanese or Western style; either way it was delicious and satisfying. All of the staff were very kind. We enjoyed luxury-Hotel-level comfort while still experiencing the freedom that makes glamping special. We’ll definitely be back when the season changes!
