I had stayed at Kinkonko several times before, and after it became Regina Resort, we chose to stay again—especially as it coincided with our younger child’s birthday. It was an even better stay than I imagined; the time spent with our dog felt truly special. Just as rumored, the consistently dog-first hospitality warmed our hearts throughout the trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with smiles and greeted us by name, and our dog immediately relaxed. The Room and shared spaces were exceptionally well stocked with amenities for dogs, and their thoughtful attention to detail really stood out. A surprise that made us especially happy During our stay, I casually mentioned in conversation that our dog’s birthday was coming up—and to my surprise, they quickly prepared a birthday cake as a special treat. I was amazed by such a wonderful gesture, and having the staff celebrate together with us filled my heart. Seeing our dog happily enjoying the cake became an unforgettable memory. Surrounded by Yufuin’s beautiful nature, this is truly a dream-like Accommodation where both dogs and owners can relax without any hesitation. It was an outstanding Accommodation that I would wholeheartedly recommend for important anniversaries or creating special memories with your dog. We definitely want to come back again! We have stayed at many pet-friendly Accommodations before, but Regina Resort Yufuin was the most satisfying in every way. Next time, we hope to stay in “Kakoi,” the new annex.

We booked the Plan with dinner on a riverside dining platform, and not only was the meal excellent, but we also had a wonderful time chatting with a maiko, which became a great memory.\nThe in-house Facilities were also superb, and we especially enjoyed the Onsen twice.\nWe were truly moved by the warm hospitality of all the staff. I stayed here again on a trip to Kyoto with my daughter. As always, I was completely satisfied with the hospitality, the food, and the location. In every situation, the staff’s service was truly outstanding. I would definitely like to stay here again in the future.

Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. The open-air bath and toilet in the Room were very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. We were also surprised that even the indoor bath was an Onsen. As we traveled with our grandchild, the pool was wonderful and our grandchild was delighted. Since this time was only a one-night stay, everyone was very disappointed, and we are thinking of staying longer next year. Although one of us became unwell, thank you sincerely for your attentive support. The Facility is new, yet it is a wonderful Accommodation that preserves traditional Japanese hospitality and service.

On our previous stay we traveled with our baby at 7 months old, and this time at 1 year and 10 months—this was our second visit. The Facility was spotless, the meals served in the Room for both breakfast and dinner let us dine at a relaxed pace, and everything was delicious. Just like last time, it made for an amazing trip. In particular, the bath in the Room was spacious and easy to adjust the water temperature; even our son, who usually doesn’t want to take baths at home, happily got in again and again. All of the staff were friendly and approachable, and during check-in/out and meal service they spoke to our son often as well—we were extremely satisfied with the service. We would love to stay here again.

We stayed for two nights in late August on a family trip. On the first night, I became unwell (likely heat exhaustion due to Kyoto’s climate and lack of sleep), and you kindly adjusted how dinner was served. You also prepared an ice pack and cold water, and all the staff offered warm words afterward as well—I truly caused you a lot of trouble. The next day we returned to the Accommodation early after sightseeing, but housekeeping was completed quickly and the Room was restored to a comfortable state. Our child had brought a favorite stuffed toy, and seeing it seated on the sofa warmed our hearts. I was also impressed that all staff had shared information such as my avoiding caffeine and our child’s preferences, and handled everything so naturally with thoughtful care. The timing of your check-ins and sense of distance were just right, and we experienced truly wonderful hospitality. We used the Room as a family of three (our child is in 6th grade), and it felt neither too large nor too small. Having a bath in the Room was especially nice because we could use it whenever we wanted. The water temperature was set to 41°C, which feels hot in summer, but we could adjust it by adding water. The changing area had floor heating, which helped prevent us from getting too chilled after bathing. Towels and water were replenished as well, so even if we sweated after bathing, it was great to be able to use clean towels and clothes. Also, there was a lovely fragrance the moment we entered the Room, with incense throughout the building—these scent touches made everything feel special and out of the ordinary. Every meal was truly delicious. Our child has many dislikes when it comes to seafood, but you accommodated this thoughtfully; plus, both days’ menus were different so we could enjoy variety. In particular, the charcoal-grilled style dishes along with Anto-jiru soup, takikomi gohan (seasoned rice), and Wakan 18 tea were excellent—our child loved them too. Breakfast also came with many rice accompaniments that were all delicious. The soups and dashi-based dishes especially felt very “Kyoto,” which we appreciated. Finally, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took care of us during our stay. We made wonderful memories in Kyoto thanks to you. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again as a family.

From the moment we arrived until we departed, every moment was comfortable and truly luxurious. We were delighted with everything—the atmosphere, the room, the bath, and the meals—but above all, the attentive hospitality and thoughtful care from all of the staff made us want to return again. I am left-handed, and at dinner on the first night I moved my chopstick rest myself. Then at breakfast the next morning, my chopstick rest had been set up for a left-handed guest, which truly moved me...! Thank you so much for noticing even such a small detail.

We had a truly wonderful time. From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere felt different from everyday life, making this Accommodation a perfect escape. The Room had a calm ambiance, and the Onsen was so relaxing that we wanted to soak again and again. As we soaked slowly while feeling close to nature, we lost track of time. Each dish was carefully prepared and delicious, and we also enjoyed the seasonal touches and presentation. We savored every bite until the very end. This was my first stay here. Above all, the Onsen were outstanding. I was able to enjoy a variety of baths— a clear, colorless iron-rich spring in the Room, a thick mixed sulfur and carbonated spring, and a gentle sulfur spring— and I was completely satisfied. The traditional Japanese meals made with mountain ingredients were also very delicious and easy on the stomach. I’m also grateful for the warm hospitality and smiles from all the staff. I booked with No Meals Included and didn’t expect too much for the price, but it exceeded my expectations in the best way. First, the front desk staff were incredibly courteous and impressive. The Room was spacious, spotless, and came with a bathtub. While the public bath isn’t large enough to be called a big bathhouse, it was perfect for soaking slowly in warm water. I honestly found myself thinking, “Is it really okay to stay here on a weekend for this price?”—almost feeling guilty. This time I didn’t add breakfast due to my plans the next day, but it looked very delicious. When we stopped by in the evening to pick up our stored luggage, you kindly lent us towels because we were soaked from a sudden heavy downpour. From start to finish, it was truly a Hotel full of outstanding hospitality. Thank you very much.

I stayed at this Hotel for the first time after wanting to for a long time. I stayed in a Room with a terrace, and it was spacious enough to relax comfortably on the terrace or sofa. The Room was also kept very clean, which I was happy with. Breakfast was delicious as well. I would like to stay again.

On the day of our stay, unfortunately it was pouring rain, so we couldn’t go sightseeing. We were cold and soaked, but even though we arrived before check-in, they kindly let us wait in the lobby. They served us hot coffee, and soon after they prepared our Room early for us. Thanks to that, we could change out of our wet clothes and avoid getting sick. The proprietress and all the staff were very kind, and we had a truly comfortable stay. The food was delicious, the Onsen was wonderful—everything was perfect. We’d love to visit again.

We booked the “Chef’s Choice Kura Twin” Plan and stayed in Room 101 of the MOSO building. The Room was a very comfortable size for two people. The beams, the safe room, and the steep stairs were all experiences you don’t usually get to have, so they felt truly special. The dinner we had been looking forward to was delicious. In particular, the rich flavor of Togeshita beef and the vivid colors of the corn bavarois appetizer left a strong impression. We chose an anniversary Plan, and we were delighted to see our requested message along with a ribbon. At breakfast as well, staff offered refills at just the right time, and they also knew we were staying on an anniversary Plan and kindly took photos for us—making it a very pleasant time. It was a stay that made us feel truly welcomed—both by the Accommodation and by the town! We also loved the Takehara Campbell juice listed on the lounge and restaurant drink menus. It’s grape juice, but I’d never tasted one with such clarity before. We had it again at a roadside station after checkout—and even bought more to take home. A couple of small things we noticed: Dust had collected in the basket in the washroom. Each time we entered to use the sink, the toilet lid sensor reacted and opened automatically; we would prefer it without automatic opening/closing.

Both dinner and breakfast (we chose the Japanese set) were perfectly seasoned and truly delicious. The conger eel fritters were especially outstanding. The after-bath ice cream, morning milk, and complimentary drinks were also plentiful, so we could enjoy them throughout the day. The amenities were well stocked as well—Sekkisei toner, emulsion, face wash, and cleansing products were provided, so there was no need to bring our own.

We stayed here for my husband’s birthday trip. Our Room faced Mt. Fuji, and the view was amazing—we could see Mt. Fuji clearly even from the open-air bath. The meals also included Mt. Fuji-themed dishes, which we enjoyed with all five senses. There was a fireworks festival at Lake Kawaguchi, and the hotel prepared special seating on the rooftop so we could watch comfortably. We were also able to make a Reservation for a surprise birthday cake through the website, and it was served at our requested time. The service was excellent, and we would love to stay again.

I fell ill and had to ask my brother’s family to go in my place. My nephew loves rice, and I have never seen him eat bread. However, dinner was bread-based, so they assumed he wouldn’t eat much. Instead, they said everything—the dishes and the bread—was delicious, and the three of them finished a meal meant for four. They also told me breakfast was truly wonderful. My brother and his wife, who are constantly worried about their son, said they had a very comfortable Hotel stay thanks to the excellent care from all the staff. Thank you very much for your kindness. Thank you as well for the get-well gift for me. June is both my birthday month and your Hotel’s celebration month, so I was disappointed that I couldn’t visit myself. I hope to visit again soon.

I would like to stay again. This is an accommodation I would recommend to my friends. It was very relaxing.

With work every day, I rarely get the chance to travel from Kansai to Tohoku. However, this is a famous long-established Accommodation that I had always wanted to visit someday, and this time I finally made it happen. As expected, it was wonderful. The vast, beautifully maintained garden, delicious meals, and the well-trained staff who welcomed us so pleasantly made it truly relaxing. Thanks to tips from the staff, we also visited Higashine City and Tendo City the next day and enjoyed lots of great local food. I also accidentally left my electric toothbrush behind, and I really appreciate how quickly you handled it. This is another Accommodation I would definitely love to return to.

We stayed as a family. We were very satisfied with the Accommodation, the Onsen, and the meals. The building had a charming atmosphere (the stairs were a bit challenging), and we enjoyed a clean Onsen of excellent quality and delicious, high-quality cuisine. We were especially surprised by how good the meat, tofu, and rice were. Above all, we truly appreciated the heartfelt hospitality from all the staff. We were happy to receive so much helpful advice about getting around inside the property. We are also very grateful for your thoughtful consideration in providing an irregular Shuttle Service to the station. Although it is far away, this is a wonderful Accommodation we would love to visit again. Thank you for such a lovely time!

This long-established Ryokan had a calm atmosphere, and the garden was wonderful. Most notably, the in-room rock bath was so spacious that it felt almost too much for our family of three, and with free-flowing hot spring water straight from the source, we lost count of how many times we soaked. The meals were also carefully prepared; everything was delicious, especially the tasty rice—so good that our son, who usually never asks for seconds, did. We would definitely like to stay again.
