The room, with its white-based design and high ceiling, felt clean and relaxing with heated wooden flooring. The semi-open-air bath in the room was spacious, filled with plenty of silky smooth water. Having a water dispenser was also very convenient. Both dinner and breakfast were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making the experience truly delightful. The staff showed great care and attention to my elderly mother, allowing us to enjoy our stay with peace of mind. Thank you very much!

We stayed in a two-room suite with a view of the townscape roofed with Sekishu tiles. The view itself wasn’t great—more like looking at the neighboring house—but it was more than made up for by the hospitality and the food. This wasn’t typical Ryokan cuisine; the dishes were thoughtfully prepared using local ingredients. Hot items were served hot and freshly made. We stayed on the day of the fireworks festival before Obon. After taking a bath, we lay down until dinner, watching the sunset and listening to insects—it felt wonderful. We went to Yakushiyu before dinner, but it was hot while waiting there, and since the Accommodation’s bath was so good, we wished we had used the Accommodation’s bath in the evening and gone to Yakushiyu early in the morning instead. In the hallway, as part of their hospitality, there was a refrigerated case where each guest could choose one drink—beer, juice, or water. That made us happy. And about the fireworks: we expected a small rural display, but it kept going for nearly 30 minutes without getting boring—it was very well planned. We’d like to stay again around this time next year before Obon.

Return Visit Stayed for two nights a few years ago and was amazed by how incredible the Moor Onsen was. They even had our past stay history on record, which really showed their professionalism. At the time, we were a bit bothered by some odors in the Room and Onsen, so we “cheated” for a while with a newer Accommodation nearby (laugh). This time, we made a Reservation for a newly renovated Room. Bottom line: it was excellent! I’m not really into saunas, but I enjoyed it because you can adjust the temperature in various ways and even listen to music. There were plenty of towels, and bathrobes were provided as well. The only downside was that the open-air bath was slightly too hot. The food was delicious, and the service was flawless. If they renovate more guest rooms, we will definitely stay again.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. This was our first family trip since losing our beloved dog, and we traveled with my elderly parents who have difficulty walking. I thought it might feel a bit sad, but everyone was so kind and had such wonderful smiles that it became a truly enjoyable trip! Our dog’s name was also Fuji, so it felt like we were meant to be here. My parents were also happy that, thanks to the walking support cart, they could choose their own dishes at the buffet. Every dish was amazing—beautifully presented and delicious. The meat was tender as well, and everyone loved it. We also enjoyed the water bar, the old-fashioned game arcade, and the souvenir shop! The bath was spacious and great, but there weren’t many handrails, so my mother seemed a little uneasy. Still, it felt wonderful. The Room was of course clean and very comfortable. We went to the pool area to take photos, and I thought it was a pleasant place for a walk. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I made the mistake of thinking I had booked the same Room as before, not realizing it had been completely renovated, and only noticed after entering. I hadn’t read the description carefully enough. It was my first time using a daybed, but it felt modern, and I’m satisfied with it in its own way. As for the in-room bath, last time it rained and we got caught in the rain while using the open-air bath, but this time it felt easier to use than before. However, adjusting the temperature is still a bit tricky. The meals were just as satisfying as before in both portion size and taste. Last time, simmered golden eye snapper was served at the end when I was already very full, so I couldn’t finish it, but this time it was served midway through and I was able to eat everything. That said, the seasoning of the spiny lobster dish didn’t quite suit two elderly guests like us. It felt overly elaborate and seemed to mask the lobster’s natural flavor. For us, something simpler like sashimi or simply grilled would have been better. Our attendant was a foreign national and did their best to explain each dish clearly, which we appreciated; casual conversation might be difficult though. It seems that staffing shortages have reached Hotels as well. We were impressed that you greeted us right as we drove in upon arrival and saw us off at departure—service that remained just as attentive as last time. If we have another chance to visit Izu, we would like to stay with you again. Thank you very much.

The Facility is a bit old, but it is thoroughly cleaned and I have no complaints. Both dinner and breakfast feature many homemade dishes, and everything tastes excellent. The dinner’s buttered potatoes came with an incredibly generous amount of rich butter. For breakfast, there were rolled omelet and French toast—everything was truly delicious. It’s well worth visiting just for the meals alone.

My daughter and I stayed here together. We had a luggage issue before arriving at the Hotel and ended up arriving an hour late for dinner, but you kindly accommodated us, for which we are truly grateful. For the meal, although it was already past the time when it would normally have been served as a boxed meal, you were considerate enough to serve us as planned, and I was nearly moved to tears. Every dish was not only beautifully presented but also thoughtfully prepared with seasonal ingredients and flavors that guests of any age can enjoy. The seasoning and portions were just right, and everything was truly delicious. We chose the plan with breakfast included, and it was very lavish—yet never heavy—and before we knew it, we had finished everything. The rice was especially delicious; my daughter and I even said afterward that we should have asked for seconds. The Onsen bath was very clean, and it felt so wonderful that we forgot all about the day’s troubles. We also used the open-air bath; since it was a full moon that night, we enjoyed a blissful time soaking while looking at the moon peeking through the trees. The Room was very spacious, with a Japanese-style room plus a separate bedroom with beds. It’s a layout where you can relax in comfort in the Japanese-style room and then sleep soundly in bed afterward—something guests of any age can enjoy. Above all else, every member of staff provided outstanding service. When we arrived at Kinugawa Onsen Station there were hardly any taxis available, and we were worried about whether we could reach the Hotel on foot along dark roads. You picked us up by car from the station, which helped us tremendously. You also drove us to the station again the next day—thank you so much. Thanks to you, we made our scheduled train on time. Your kindness in every respect truly moved us. There are many Ryokan out there and we have stayed at several before, but this is a Hotel where we were satisfied with everything: staff service, cuisine, baths, and Rooms. This time it was only one night because there were other places we wanted to visit as well; however, if we travel to the Nikko area again next time, we will definitely choose this Hotel. And since we had your wonderful food rather hurriedly this time due to our late arrival (laugh), next time I’d like to arrive on schedule and savor each dish more slowly. We sincerely appreciate all your kindness. Thank you very much. We look forward to staying with you again in the future.

The hospitality was outstanding. From check-in to check-out, the staff were consistently attentive. Especially at checkout, they even wiped the car windows. It had rained the night before, so the windows may have been dirty, but this was the first time anyone has ever done that for me—I was truly impressed. Both the quality and quantity of the meals were very satisfying. Dinner featured a duck hot pot as the main dish, along with plenty of extras such as sashimi and Kasumi crab (benizuwai crab). Everything was delicious. If I had to mention anything, it would be that the Ryokan’s bath is small and it’s a bit away from the center of town. Personally, I enjoyed walking around while exploring and visiting different public baths, and they also said they could drive guests there upon request. As for the small bath at the Ryokan, I think it works well if you make use of the public baths too while still enjoying what’s available on-site. I would definitely like to stay again. This was our first trip with Mameko, our 8-month-old Shiba Inu. We had various concerns, but in the end it was a very satisfying stay. It started with the front desk’s kind and attentive service. It reminded us how important the atmosphere at check-in really is. We quickly made a Reservation for a private bath. Our Japanese-style Room was spacious enough, and the crate was large as well. The view from the window wasn’t great; it seems a Room on the opposite side of the hallway would have been better. Next was the outdoor dog run. It was covered with wood chips, which were gentle on our dog’s paws. However, it didn’t seem well maintained, and we didn’t see any other families using it. Then came the private bath. Dogs aren’t allowed in the bathtub for people, but there was a large tub placed in the washing area, so we could bathe together and still enjoy an Onsen-like experience. One thing to note: there was a brush provided, but it had plenty of hair from a previous dog on it—perhaps it was missed during cleaning—which was disappointing. Dinner was finally served, and both quantity and quality were more than satisfying. The tables were spaced appropriately apart, so we could relax comfortably alongside other dogs as well. The only disappointment was that my favorite salt-grilled ayu wasn’t cooked through enough. Ayu is usually edible from head to tail when properly grilled, but this one had hard bones (head and tail) that couldn’t be eaten. My wife’s portion was nearly raw; they re-grilled it for her, but even then the bones remained too hard to eat. Ayu needs to be grilled slowly over time; this felt like only the surface had been browned with a grill to save time and effort. I believe this should be improved promptly. There are two indoor dog runs as well—both were excellent spaces where we could also get along with other guests’ families. The large public bathhouse was a good size, and above all else, the sulfur Onsen was outstanding. They recommended “time bathing” (going in and out) because it’s hot; I gradually got used to it and eventually enjoyed how pleasantly the sulfur seemed to cling to my skin. After bathing there were massage chairs—three units including newer models—and having them free of charge really lived up to expectations. Breakfast the next morning also left us fully satisfied. One more small point: staff members kindly fussed over Mameko, but since they handle food service as well, I felt it might be better not to touch dogs during meal service. Overall, our 1-night/2-day stay ended on an extremely positive note. Beyond great value for money, we could truly feel everyone’s hospitality—this has become one of our family’s Accommodations we would like to visit again.”

On the recommendation of an acquaintance who lives in Ibusuki, I stayed here in March and April this year. What stands out most about Ginsho is the delicious food! In addition to fresh local sashimi, the freshly fried Satsuma-age was exceptional. The seasoning was not too strong, and the portions were just right. The Onsen water quality was also excellent. I was able to relax and unwind.\n\nThe friendly and wonderful proprietress, whose warm personality truly shows in her smile, took great care of me. All of the staff were kind and provided very pleasant service. I will visit again soon. Thank you very much for everything!

The moment I stepped from the entrance into the lobby, I was struck by the sense of openness and the deep blue sea stretching out beyond it, and I felt truly glad I came. The warm welcome, dinner, and breakfast—along with thoughtful touches you won’t find at other Hotels—made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. This has become a Hotel I’d love to stay at again. Please keep up the great work for Wakura Onsen’s recovery.

We stayed here with our children and grandchildren as three generations, and it was our first time. All the staff were kind, and the meals were excellent with plenty of fresh seafood. Above all, the view from the Hotel window was beautiful. You can clearly see the sun rising over the horizon right from your Room window. The Facility did not feel brand-new, as it seems to be a renovated older Hotel, but we felt it was well worth it because the accommodation rate was very reasonable. We also enjoyed using the large public bath and open-air bath comfortably. Thank you very much.

I stayed with my 84-year-old mother. Using the large public bath would have been difficult for her, so we chose a Room with a private Onsen. The meals were very delicious, and the staff who served us were extremely courteous, so we were very satisfied. The in-room Onsen was also excellent. We also enjoyed the Facility services such as sweets and drinks, and in the morning we appreciated the fruit and yogurt as well. We knew from the start, but the stairs and getting around were challenging. Also, depending on the person, the front desk staff did not feel very welcoming.

We stayed as a couple. We made our Reservation one week before our stay, and the only Room available came with a semi-open-air bath. The Room was very clean and spacious, facing the ocean—absolutely wonderful. The beach is right in front of the Hotel, and it felt like a private beach; we could take a walk at sunset and really enjoy the resort atmosphere. Not only was the in-room semi-open-air bath great, but the large public bath with an open-air bath was also very spacious, so we could relax and enjoy it at our leisure. For dinner, since we don’t eat much, we chose the standard course and it was more than enough. It seemed you could also order extras such as golden eye snapper, abalone, and spiny lobster. Breakfast was entirely self-service, and even if you wanted to grill dried fish (aji), you had to go get items like a pot and solid fuel yourself, which felt a bit inconvenient. Alcohol was free during dinner, which was excellent; however, there were no vending machines inside the Hotel for other times, so having to go out to a convenience store to buy drinks was disappointing. Considering the Facility and overall offering, it felt like good value for money; overall satisfaction was high, and we would like to stay again.

I stayed here last year as well and am a returning guest. The baths are great, the meals are excellent, and while the Facility isn’t new, it feels well maintained and cared for. The staff were pleasant and attentive, and I was very satisfied. I was able to relax, but the enjoyable time flew by. I’d like to come again in a different season.

Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we were very satisfied. Everyone I traveled with agreed it was delicious and finished every bite. The staff were courteous, and we had a wonderful time with friends I hadn’t seen in a while. Thank you very much.

I always stay at this Hotel. This time, I stayed with my older sister’s family and my younger sister to celebrate my retirement. Thank you, as always, for your very kind service. The meals were also delicious.

It was a two-night Multiple Night Stay, but unfortunately it was rainy and sightseeing wasn’t really possible, so we were able to relax in the Hotel lounge. The all-inclusive plan was great, and the food was delicious. Even with a Multiple Night Stay, there were plenty of daily changes, and although it was buffet-style, many dishes were prepared fresh on the spot, so we never got bored. In fact, it was almost disappointing that we couldn’t try everything. The only slight downside was that our Room was far from the baths.

Fireworks were scheduled at Shirarahama that day, and while looking for a nearby Hotel, I happened to find availability and made a Reservation for a Room with an open-air bath. The Room was very clean and relaxing, and watching the fireworks right in front of us became a wonderful summer memory. Above all, the staff’s hospitality was outstanding. Everyone was courteous and very kind. I don’t usually write Reviews, but this was such a wonderful Hotel that it made me want to leave one. Next time, I’d like to stay in a different Room as well. I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for my girlfriend’s birthday trip. We made a Reservation with the birthday Plan, and everything—the cake, dinner, Room decorations, and bouquet—was wonderful and made the trip truly special. We would love to stay again when we visit Ehime. Thank you very much.
