From June 28 to 30, just after the typhoon and the end of the rainy season, we were able to arrive in Miyako safely and this was our second stay at Ferris. We were upgraded to a twin-bed Room for our family of three, and it also happened to be my wife’s birthday. The cake and bed decorations were wonderful surprises, making our first trip back to Miyakojima in two years truly memorable. Thank you very much to all the staff. Coming back from snorkeling and slipping straight into the private pool in our Room felt amazing—we could have stayed in forever while looking out at the mangroves. We enjoyed San’s shabu-shabu in our Room, and everything was delicious right down to the soba at the end. Next time, we’d love to try lunch as well! We look forward to staying with you again.

For quite some time now, I’ve been staying here about once a month. The moment I step inside, my mind switches from the everyday to something extraordinary. I keep coming back because I want to feel that shift. The Room and the meals are flawless, and above all, the quality of the sauna relaxation room is exceptional. To be honest, I like it so much that I almost hesitate to write this—because more people might find out and it could get crowded. The service is also impressively attentive every time—exactly what you’d expect from a top-class Hotel. It feels well worth the price. And most of all, the quiet here is wonderful. There aren’t many places where you can truly unwind and return to yourself in peace. For me, this is genuinely my third place. I hope to keep coming at least once a month for years to come… which is exactly why, if I’m being honest, I kind of hope it doesn’t get too busy (laugh).

Since my husband retired, we have made it a point to travel at least once a month. Thanks to the delicious meals and attentive service at this hotel, we were able to spend a wonderful and memorable anniversary in great comfort. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared by the head chef, and we enjoyed them all. At breakfast, the buffet area even had an adorable illustrated map showing where to find drinks, bread, and more—it was both convenient and charming, and it truly delighted us. What surprised us even more was seeing the General Manager personally greet every table equally during breakfast, and even proactively clear used dishes—something rarely seen. We were also impressed by how clean the large hot spring bath was, with meticulous attention paid even to the smallest details. We liked this hotel so much that we booked another stay for January 1 next year before heading home. Thank you very much for your hospitality. We look forward to visiting again.

Just like last time, we had a very comfortable stay. True to the name “Sunset Village,” dinner while watching the stunning sunset—so much like being at an overseas resort—was truly delightful. Our beloved dog, who is like family to us, ran freely around the spacious dog run and relaxed indoors as well; simply watching was soothing. We are very satisfied with the well-maintained facilities and the clean, comfortable environment. If possible, having a standing fan or air circulator would be convenient when we want to cool down on the BBQ terrace or indoors. We would appreciate your consideration. From the large windows and terrace, we could gaze at the huge trees right in front of us, many boats floating on the sea, and the scenery across the water—it’s easy to lose track of time. We’re already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

After arriving at Nakamatsuya in Bessho Onsen, we first visited the nearby Kitamuki Kannon Hall and then enjoyed a bath. The water temperature was perfect, and we felt wonderfully warmed up before heading to dinner. There, an incredible feast of matsutake dishes kept coming—more than I’ve ever had in my life—and it truly felt like I’d eaten a lifetime’s worth of matsutake. I’m so glad we came here, and I’d love to visit again around the same time next year.

All the meals were delicious, and the Onsen was wonderful. The Room and bath areas were kept very clean, so we had a very comfortable stay. The amenities were well provided and really helpful. There was bottled water in the Room refrigerator, and there was also a lounge where you can freely enjoy soft drinks; we had coffee after dinner as well. The Japanese garden in the courtyard was also beautiful. We could choose our favorite yukata, which made us feel even more excited. All the staff were kind and helpful. There were lots of cute cat-themed items in the lobby, hallways, and lounge, which was very soothing. We were able to relax at a leisurely pace. There was a roadside station and a supermarket nearby, so the location was convenient as well. It was such a lovely Accommodation that we would love to stay again. Thank you very much!

I stayed here for a concert trip this time. Because of the concert end time and traffic, I didn’t arrive until 9:00 PM, and I ended up getting to dinner very late, but you welcomed me with a smile and I had a wonderful time. Breakfast was also delicious, and since I had some time before checkout, I was able to take a walk in Kenrokuen Garden across the street. The location is excellent, and above all, every staff member was smiling and seemed genuinely happy—I would definitely like to stay here again the next time I visit Kanazawa. We were disappointed that the weather was bad and we couldn’t visit Zao Okama, but we were very satisfied with the Hotel. We were able to relax both in the Room and in the Onsen, and the meals were excellent. What my wife and I liked best was the breakfast—it was the best we’ve had anywhere we’ve stayed so far. This is an Accommodation we would like to stay at again.

All the staff were kind and helpful; the meals were outstanding, the Onsen was wonderful, and every aspect of the service showed thoughtful attention to detail—truly a lovely Accommodation.\nI also loved the tasteful selection of plants in the garden; the autumn berries added beautiful color, and I wanted to use it as inspiration for my own garden, so I took photos and used Google to find out the names of some of the trees.\nIn the morning, a varied tit even came by to visit, and I found myself soothed by this beautiful garden that never got boring no matter how long I looked at it.\nEverything was perfect from start to finish, and we were able to enjoy a truly luxurious time.\nI’d love to visit again in a different season. Everything is clean throughout.\nThe indoor open-air bath is very convenient and comfortable.\nThe meals are excellent in both quality and quantity. The service is also very polite, with no issues.\nWe stayed with children, and it was a great help that they proactively offered to provide a baby crib and bouncer.\nI’m glad we found such a wonderful Accommodation for the first time in a while.

On a whim, we decided to take a refreshing getaway and made a same-day Reservation at Nampuro, which we’d been curious about for some time. It was our first trip in a while, and while we were excited, we tried not to set our expectations too high when we checked in—but the moment we stepped inside, our excitement just kept growing! We stayed in Grand Oceans, and from the instant we got off the elevator—seeing the wide selection of drinks and light snacks—and walked down the beautifully atmospheric hallway, then opened the door to our room… everything was amazing. One “This is incredible!” after another. A bath with an ocean view, delicious meals, relaxing in the room with drinks—it was exactly the refreshing trip we had been looking for. Since it was raining, it wasn’t quite a breathtaking view this time, but we found ourselves saying, “Next time let’s come when it’s sunny,” and ended up promising each other another stay! Thank you for such a wonderful time. We’ll be back!!

This was my first stay at this Hotel, which offers the special opportunity to take part in Eiheiji’s zazen meditation and morning service. I was deeply moved by the cleansing, uplifting experience. In the stillness of early morning at Eiheiji, the crisp air filled the temple grounds; seeing so many trainee monks perform their service with such care, and the beauty of moss illuminated by the morning sun—these were all sights you can only experience because you are there so early, and because you stay overnight. I’m truly glad I came. The meals were also wonderful; even without meat or fish, I was completely satisfied by how delicious the vegetables were. The Room and bath were clean and well maintained, everything was spotless, and everyone at the Accommodation greeted us with warm smiles and attentive service—making this a trip I will never forget.

I stay here every year when I visit Kobe, also to pay my respects at the family grave. The front desk staff always welcome me warmly, making me feel like I’ve come home. The Room furnishings are calm and tasteful, and the drawers for storing clothes are very convenient. They provide a voucher for Chikuzono Butcher’s croquettes, so enjoying those nostalgic, warm croquettes in my Room is one of my pleasures. I also enjoyed drinks in the lounge while taking in the night view of Mt. Rokko and spent a relaxing time. I look forward to staying with you again.

This was my first stay here, and I felt thoughtful attention to detail throughout, making it a very comfortable experience. First of all, the location—right in front of Kyoto Station’s Hachijo Exit—is extremely convenient. Even with large luggage, getting around was easy, which was a huge help on this trip. Inside the Hotel, the lobby is spacious and there is also a guest-only lounge, which I really appreciated for relaxing. The lounge is accessed by tapping your Room key card, and there is a wide variety of drinks available—not only coffee but also options like matcha latte—free to enjoy. You can even take drinks back to your Room, and I was surprised that the lounge could be used even after check-out. It’s a wonderful service that lets you relax until the very end. And what I especially loved this time was the large public bath. It was kept very clean, with thorough cleaning and well-stocked amenities. During my stay I used it three times—in the evening, at night, and in the morning—and it was pleasant every time. You bring towels from your Room, but just in case you forget, spare towels were prepared at the entrance as well. I really appreciated this kind of consideration for those “small inconveniences.” I felt this is a Hotel that not only has excellent Facilities but also pays close attention to every detail so guests can enjoy their stay comfortably. I liked my stay so much that I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Kyoto.

This was our second stay. Last time, the hotel was spotless with thorough cleaning and the service was excellent, so we already felt it was a rare gem. This time, they upgraded our room, and we were able to enjoy a spacious, newer room. The food was delicious, the staff member who assisted us during meals was very pleasant, and of course the front desk staff were also wonderful—once again confirming what a welcoming hotel this is. We stay in many different places, but in reality there aren’t many hotels where you can feel this comfortable. I’m impressed by everything. It may be that everyone works in an enjoyable environment and that putting hospitality first is part of the hotel’s culture—but I truly felt that maintaining that consistently across all staff is not easy to achieve. We made more great memories here, and I sincerely hope to stay again. Thank you very much.

The convenience is excellent, with the express bus stop from Sendai right in front of the property, and the bathroom’s separate washing area was also a big plus. Above all, I was amazed by how lavish the breakfast was. I chose the Japanese set, and was surprised to be served a tray-style meal that felt just like a Ryokan. Starting with imoni soup served on a small burner, every dish showcased Yamagata specialties—I was truly impressed. Both the quality and portion size were completely satisfying. I would love to stay again.

Please remove your shoes upon arrival; guests generally walk around in socks. I loved it from that moment on! The room felt modern, was quite spacious, and very clean—so impressive. All-you-can-drink is available from check-in until 21:00. I don’t drink alcohol myself, but there was a great selection and my companion was very happy. I was a bit disappointed that the “milk” seemed more like a milk beverage, but there were plenty of other drinks. It felt wonderful to enjoy drinks while soaking in the footbath. For dinner we chose the top course, and it was my first time having such amazing meat!!! The salad bar was also very satisfying. The foreign staff member who explained everything to us seemed sweet and new at the job—I couldn’t help but want to cheer her on. Her smile was lovely! Not just her—everyone on staff was kind and had great smiles. There are two baths: the “Beauty Bath” and the “Health Bath.” The Beauty Bath is definitely more exciting. There were ReFa shower heads with a mist setting, and the hair dryers were Panasonic and ReFa as well. It was also nice that you can borrow shampoo. I’d seen reviews saying there wasn’t much for breakfast, but I was satisfied! The curry had a Japanese-style flavor and was delicious. The croquettes were great too—I ate a lot. I also loved being able to eat lots of cherry tomatoes at both dinner and breakfast (I wonder where they’re from). Maybe it just happened to be that way during our stay, but most guests seemed older, and since there aren’t many rooms overall, it felt calm and relaxing—which I really liked. I’d love to stay again. It’s also nice that you can play park golf—I didn’t try it this time, but maybe I should have!

I stayed here on a solo trip. The room was clean and spacious, and I was able to relax comfortably. The amenities included face masks and socks for the room. Since I don’t drink alcohol, they replaced the alcoholic drinks in the fridge with non-alcoholic options. Dinner was plentiful and delicious—I was very satisfied. Great value for money with excellent service, and I’d love to stay again. Thank you!

I had been looking forward to my stay at Manpei Hotel, but after arriving I became unwell and developed a fever over 38°C. Even so, the staff were incredibly kind—lending me a thermometer and promptly bringing an ice pack and ice. They also kindly changed all of my meals to room service, allowing me to rest and eat comfortably in my room. Although my long-awaited stay turned out differently than expected, I truly appreciated the thoughtful care and warm hospitality, especially while I wasn’t feeling well. Unfortunately, I ended up spending most of the time in the room this visit, but my husband was very pleased and said the in-room hot spring bath was wonderful. While I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the hotel in perfect health, the kindness of the staff is what stayed with me most. Next time, I would love to return when I’m feeling well and take my time enjoying this historic hotel and its dining. Thank you very much for everything.

It was a pity that the entrance gate was still under construction, with cones and blue tarps scattered around (I understand that unexpected earthquakes and heavy rain can take up manpower). This time, the meals were upgraded and were a delight to both the eyes and the palate. For breakfast, I would have been even happier if there had been a choice of bread. I will visit again—thank you very much.
