We stayed one night in a glamping tent where we could spend time with our dog. Both the night view and the sunrise were beautiful! The BBQ was delicious too! However, the front desk is unattended from 20:00 to 8:00 (phone support only for emergencies), and there was no refrigerator Facility in the tent. Since we had to leave for our next destination by 8:00, we couldn’t ask the front desk to freeze our cooler ice packs, which was disappointing. This is essential in summer, so it would have been great if the Room had a small fridge/freezer.

It is located very close to the Tanegashima Space Center. The pink building stands out. The building and Facility feel a bit old, but everything seems clean. There is no large public bath; you use the in-room bath, but the shower has good water pressure and the tub fills with hot water quickly. I stayed in a twin Room, which was relatively spacious and had a balcony. The view is wonderful, with an elephant watering area right in front of you. There are no USB sockets in the Room, so you will need a power adapter/plug. Perhaps because there were few guests, breakfast was served as a set menu: Western-style Eggs Benedict on the first day, and Japanese-style on the second day with chicken rice (Keihan). I also requested dinner: a Western steak course on the first day and a Japanese shabu-shabu course on the second day. All meals were delicious. The selection of alcoholic drinks also seemed fairly good. The staff provided pleasant service, and I had a great stay.

I stayed here during Golden Week. The staff were very courteous, and I felt truly comfortable throughout my stay. The meals were excellent—I could enjoy freshly cooked rice, and I could really feel the care put into serving warm food. I was very satisfied. The bath was also wonderful. The items in the Showa-era room were full of nostalgia, and it was fun to play Super Mario on a Famicom! What impressed me most at first was the small chilled rice ball placed alongside the manju when I checked in early. It was delicious, just the right amount, and it made for a relaxing start to my stay. Thank you for two great days!

I stayed for one night and two days. The staff were very polite and kind, and their friendly conversation made my stay truly enjoyable. I also used the sauna, and the facilities were well equipped—I was very satisfied. My friend who stayed with me even said, “We want to stay one more night,” because we had such a meaningful time. It was a wonderful Accommodation that made me want to return every year. I will definitely be back!

I stayed for 2 days. The front desk staff was a foreign national, and we had some difficulty communicating in Japanese. Even on a Multiple Night Stay, housekeeping came every day, so the Room was kept clean and I was satisfied. There is a Belc supermarket and a convenience store nearby, which made shopping easy. I would like to stay here again.

First-time visit. Just a short walk through the shopping street from the station, surrounded by convenience stores, restaurants, and even a famous ramen shop—finding food is no problem! This newly opened capsule Hotel has a space-themed concept. Inside, you'll find two-tiered capsules lined up neatly. There is one restroom each for men and women, and three shower rooms available on a first-come-first-served basis. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. There’s also a women-only area, making it convenient for female guests to use comfortably. The location, price, and overall value were excellent—I’ll definitely stay here again next time!

It was my first time staying here. I was looking for a Hotel where I could stay at a low price without any unnecessary Plan options, so it was perfect for me. The parking lot is right in front, so carrying luggage was easy. The Room was clean and I was satisfied. Since it’s available throughout The whole country, I will definitely use it again.

At check-in, the parking guidance didn’t feel very smooth. Because the guidance wasn’t in time, several cars were waiting in front of the Hotel. Although an overflow parking area was provided, some guests left their cars there and went to check in, which caused congestion in front of the Hotel. Considering traffic flow, I would have preferred to be directed to the parking area first.

We stayed as a family. The view of Nagasaki from the window was beautiful. There is a lounge available to all guests, and we could easily drop in when we arrived at the Accommodation or after taking a bath. The selection was plentiful, including alcoholic drinks. At night, the lighting is dimmed and it becomes a cozy, atmospheric space, so we enjoyed Nagasaki’s night view while relaxing there. For the dinner buffet, you can choose from three time slots; we picked the earliest one at 5:00 PM, and it was less crowded—highly recommended. Every dish was delicious. I know buffets can be hit or miss, but we were very satisfied. We enjoyed sashimi, sushi, steak, and more. We were also happy that the ice cream was Häagen-Dazs. The baths alternated between men’s and women’s hours, but we especially liked the 11th-floor panoramic bath with its great views. We’ve stayed at many Hotels, but overall everything here was satisfying and it became a wonderful memory. If I had to mention one thing: my preference is for towels to be provided in the bath area so you can borrow them there and return them afterward.

There is an accommodation located just up the hill of Shiroyama at the eastern edge of the grid-like town. The narrow and steep approach road is one-way, so there’s no need to worry about oncoming traffic. Even large buses were able to make their way up. Although the entrance area of the accommodation is narrow, once you unload your luggage, valet service will take care of parking your car. Walking downhill from the accommodation leads to a main tourist spot, and it’s also conveniently close to the station, making it a great base for exploring. The interior is spacious with intricate design details. The staff are kind and attentive in their interactions. The room faces west with no tall trees obstructing the view, offering a wide panorama of the entire town that can be enjoyed both from inside and from the terrace with an open-air bath. (The view may vary depending on room orientation.) The private open-air bath in each room maintains an ideal temperature all day and night; it’s made of stone and spacious enough for a family to enjoy together. A shower room is conveniently adjacent. On our stay date, fireworks lit up Takayama city, which we watched for about an hour while leaning against the terrace railing. Meals are served in semi-private booth-style seating with sunken kotatsu tables. A quiet group of Western guests dined together in a large hall nearby.

I had a refreshing experience interacting with many animals and nature. The staff were kind, and I would love to visit this accommodation regularly.

I stayed here the night before golfing. The bath is located in a separate building from the accommodation, so you have to walk outside, which is a bit inconvenient. However, the bath itself is incredibly clean and luxurious! The open-air bath has a pleasant silky texture, and there’s also a well-equipped sauna. After bathing, complimentary soda, sports drinks like Pocari Sweat, and even ice bars are provided—a delightful service! Dinner was served on the first floor of the accommodation building and featured Italian cuisine made with local ingredients along with a free drink set including sparkling wine, regular wine, and beer for 18,000 yen. The food was delicious but took quite some time to prepare as it seemed to be made by one person. The room was very small but sufficient for just sleeping. The building and interior design are very stylish overall.

We stayed here for a family trip, and thanks to the great weather, we had a very comfortable stay. The views of Wakasa Fuji and Wakasa Bay were wonderful, and the Italian meals were delicious—we were very satisfied. It was also nice to be able to enjoy breakfast on the open terrace. Although there was a small issue, the staff responded quickly, which actually made it an even more memorable trip.

We stayed in a Compact Suite for a 4-night Multiple Night Stay in winter. We made a Reservation because we were drawn to the location and the concept of “staying as if you live here,” and it truly lived up to that idea. First, the location is excellent. We were able to visit Lake Mashu every day and enjoy how it changes with the weather and time of day. It was also convenient to shop in Teshikaga before or after sightseeing, and access toward Lake Kussharo was easy as well, so we could adjust our plans flexibly depending on how we felt. The services provided and the level of interaction with the staff also felt just right for us. Even without special offerings, we could freely enjoy drinks in the lounge, and by making good use of the refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and electric kettle ourselves, we had a very comfortable stay. We could unwind from everyday social fatigue while still receiving support that never felt inconvenient—highly recommended for guests who prefer minimal interference or for Multiple Night Stay. We booked the dinner course for one night only, but each dish conveyed sincerity toward the ingredients and careful creativity. Everything was delicious, and we’re glad we tried it. One minor point: because the toilet/bathroom fixtures and appliances are very design-focused—and apparently overseas-made (based on labeling)—they weren’t immediately intuitive to use. Once you get used to them, it’s not an issue. Overall, we were very satisfied to be able to spend our time quietly at our own pace throughout the stay without stress or inconvenience.

It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but the scenery along the way is so beautiful that getting there is truly enjoyable. The moment I arrived at the Accommodation and stepped inside, I was genuinely moved by the wonderful atmosphere. Everywhere you look feels like a scene from a drama or novel—surrounded by beautiful architecture and furnishings, I was able to fully enjoy an extraordinary escape. The entire property was also impeccably clean, making my stay extremely comfortable. From my Room, I could gaze out at lush greenery, and the soothing sound of the river was so relaxing that I found myself listening for ages and losing track of time. The baths are private-use only (a large bath and a smaller bath), so I never had to share with other guests. Being able to soak in complete privacy and unwind without any hesitation was something I truly appreciated. And as for the meals—I chose a Plan with both dinner and breakfast included, and both were absolutely outstanding. For dinner, we went to Otowasanso for kaiseki cuisine. Not only was everything beautifully presented, but the dashi flavors were exceptional; I was continuously impressed from start to finish by these delicate dishes unique to Japan. The attendant who explained each course was warm and attentive throughout, which made it an especially happy experience. Breakfast was served on the second floor of Meitokuan. Freshly cooked rice, rolled omelet, grilled salmon, miso soup—each item was simple yet carefully prepared, leaving me feeling satisfied in both body and mind. Both dinner and breakfast were so wonderful that I honestly wished those moments would never end. If you stay at this Accommodation, I highly recommend choosing a Plan that includes both dinner and breakfast—you won’t regret it. Lastly, this was truly a lovely Accommodation filled with thoughtful attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality beyond what I can fully describe. I would love to visit again. The two of us stayed for two nights. From reception to guidance to the Room and bath, everything was handled with great care. I’d never stayed at an Accommodation with such attentive service from check-in, so I was a bit nervous (lol). The Room was clean, and the bath felt luxurious—more exciting than relaxing! Also, we had a small issue unrelated to the Accommodation, but they responded immediately and it really helped. This is an excellent Accommodation that I’d recommend to anyone who wants to stay somewhere with a different atmosphere than usual, and I’d love to stay again! Thank you very much!

We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s 77th birthday. The meals, Room, and baths helped us unwind from everyday fatigue—if anything, I ended up enjoying myself the most. The ingredients and the care put into each one were outstanding. Everything was delicious. If I had to mention one facility-related point: after leaving the sauna in the large public bath, it would be even better if there were an option not only for a shower but also something like a hand bucket to pour cold water over yourself (even without a cold plunge pool). Above all, the staff were wonderful. Although this Accommodation has only just opened, everyone was highly experienced. We were truly impressed by the hospitality and attentive service. My parents love chatting and spoke to you a lot, but you responded kindly and thoughtfully. My parents were very happy as well. Thank you very much. We will definitely return.

At check-in, the front desk staff gave a courteous explanation, and I had a pleasant stay. I saw other Reviews saying it falls between a high-end Hotel and a Business Hotel, and that was exactly right. The breakfast area was a bit small and felt crowded, but the food was delicious. In particular, the grilled tuna collar was excellent. Thank you for your hospitality.

Before visiting Himakajima, I researched accommodations and found that the reviews were not very favorable, so my expectations were low. However, the staff at the accommodation were all incredibly hospitable, providing exceptional service throughout my stay. While it was not an onsen, the large public bath was spacious and relaxing, offering a similar experience with views of Ise Bay and Mikawa Bay. The sunset from the room was extraordinary—a scene reminiscent of a novel's opening line describing "a magnificent twilight," visible across the peninsula. The only disappointment was hearing that octopus catches have been poor recently. I look forward to visiting again when I have another opportunity.
