The front desk service was courteous, and I appreciated that they promptly called a taxi for the next day. The Room was clean and comfortable. In addition, there is a convenience store attached to the Hotel, which is handy even when it’s windy and rainy. I would like to stay here again.

I had heard that my parents, who are from Ehime, used to stay here when they returned home. When my mother passed away, our family made a Reservation the day before. We were truly grateful that you prepared an offering meal for my mother both in the Room and at mealtimes. Although the staff member in charge was young, they treated us with just the right sense of distance. As there were six of us, you arranged a spacious tatami dining room for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious cuisine. I did feel that the selection of alcoholic drinks was a little limited. I thought it would have been even better with more wine options or easy-to-drink sours. Breakfast was wonderful! There was nothing too heavy for the morning—thick-cut salmon, rolled omelet, yudofu tofu, and more— a menu so satisfying that I ended up having another bowl of rice. The “Jinchoge” Room was fun—when we opened doors that felt like something out of a ninja house, it was “here too,” and “here too.” While more and more innovative Accommodations are appearing these days, this is an Accommodation that steadfastly preserves traditional charm and protects Dogo. Especially in times like these, I sincerely hope it will continue to remain. I no longer have any particular reason to visit Ehime, but I would love to return so I can feel close to my parents again. We stayed here during the Obon holidays with our family of five after a day at Disney. We used a Room with two bunk beds—our kids’ favorite. When making the Reservation, we expected a typical Business Hotel, but the woman at reception was refreshingly kind and welcoming—almost like a Disney cast member. After an exhausting, scorching summer day at Disney, her hospitality truly made an impression. The Room was more spacious than expected, and unlike many budget bunk-bed hotels, there was no “where do we put our luggage?” problem. Even with our bags lined up along the wall by the TV, we still had plenty of space to walk around comfortably. Everything was perfectly clean, and we felt safe using the bathroom with our children. We will definitely consider this Accommodation again when we visit Disney. One request: We arrived at 10:30 PM and all nearby paid parking lots were full. After driving around repeatedly—and honestly debating street parking—we ended up parking in a park lot because there is a police station next door. However, it didn’t seem to have security cameras and the area was deserted late at night, so we were worried about theft. Since we couldn’t reserve parking at the Hotel, this happened—so we hope there can be some improvement regarding parking availability.

It was very clean and well maintained. The private open-air bath in the Room was wonderfully relaxing. Since it was summer and the Room was on the first floor, a few insects did drop by the open-air bath at night—part of the charm. If that bothers you, a morning soak is recommended. Having the toilet on a separate route from the shower room and washroom is very convenient when staying with multiple people. Overall, I think it’s a very good Hotel. The meals also felt just right in terms of variety.

Simply the best. The staff’s professionalism, service, Room, meals, and architecture—everything was outstanding, and it made for a truly satisfying stay. The fittings were beautifully maintained, and it was fun just walking around and taking in the Facility. The amenities were well stocked, and the minibar was exceptionally well supplied, making for a wonderful time. And above all, the food was incredible—both dinner and breakfast were a perfect 10/10. Great care is also put into the desserts, which were delicious. A place I definitely want to return to.

Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay. We truly appreciate your accommodating our food allergies. The meals were absolutely delicious. The Ryokan baths, the private bath, and the public hot springs were all wonderful. It was a shame we couldn’t visit all of the public baths, but we’d love to come back and do a full hot spring tour next time! As for amenities, we didn’t have any particular issues, but I happened to forget my makeup remover and thought it would have been helpful if the Ryokan had one available. We’re grateful for the lovely time we had. Thank you very much.

We chose this Accommodation because the Reviews of the food were so positive. The French dinner started with a buffet-style appetizer selection, and we really enjoyed a wide variety of vegetable-based dishes—this alone was highly satisfying. The fish and meat main courses were also excellent. The buffet-style desserts included about 10 kinds in total, from small cakes to Japanese sweets, and everything was delicious. We were so impressed that we ended up eating too much. Even though we had overeaten the day before, the breakfast buffet the next morning was also very tasty, so we ate plenty again. We will definitely return for the food. Thank you very much.

Since my femur fracture, we’ve been staying in a Room with an open-air bath, and we’re completely satisfied with the meals, the Room, and the bath. The staff are wonderful as well, so we keep coming back. It’s a bit far away, but it’s our couple’s motto: “For birthdays, we come here.”

The hot spring water is simply outstanding. Meeting the friendly and kind proprietress is also one of the highlights. I’ll be back again later this year. Thank you for everything!

We stayed in a private two-story house with a Barcelona sauna. We were satisfied with everything—the Room, bath, and Facility. Above all, the Onsen water was silky-smooth, the temperature was just right, and it was amazing. Everything provided—from the hair dryer and facial lotion to the shampoo—was excellent. It was the best Accommodation we have ever stayed at. We would love to stay again someday.

I stayed for one night, and it was a wonderful Hotel from start to finish. The Room uses a PIN code system with no key, so it was very convenient to go out without having to carry a key around. In the evening, alcoholic drinks were all-you-can-drink (free). It was a shame the large public bath didn’t have an open-air bath, but it was clean and the alkaline Onsen water was excellent. Breakfast offered a great selection of both Japanese and Western dishes, and I was very satisfied. I was also impressed by the thoughtful services—being able to choose your pillow, and free coffee and drinks available at all times. What makes this Hotel stand out is how they thoroughly reduce operating costs within what guests can reasonably accept—such as shortening breakfast hours to about two hours, asking guests to help with tidying up, using PIN codes instead of keys, and not handing out unnecessary amenities—and then use those savings to enhance guest services like free drinks and alcohol overall. I felt this approach significantly increases satisfaction. I admired how well they strike that perfect balance where you feel like thinking, “They do so much for us—so we can do this much in return.” I would definitely like to stay again.

This is the most comfortable Hotel I’ve stayed at during business trips to Tokyo. Having a separate washing area in the bathroom is fantastic—no shower curtain sticking to you. The bath and toilet are also separate, and the Room feels very clean, making for a truly comfortable stay. I’d definitely like to stay here again on my next business trip to Tokyo.

I stayed at your accommodation two and a half years ago. At that time, the Hokuriku Shinkansen had not yet opened in Fukui Prefecture, so the nearest station was Takefu Station on the Hokuriku Main Line (now Happiline Fukui), and it took about 10 minutes by taxi to reach your accommodation. Now, with Echizen-Takefu Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen as the nearest station, it is conveniently located within walking distance for those traveling by Shinkansen. The room I stayed in was on the top floor of your seven-story accommodation. As shown in the images, you can see Route 8, the Hokuriku Shinkansen, and Hokuriku Expressway from there; however, my room faced away from Echizen-Takefu Station and Takefu Interchange. The design of this room reminded me of a hotel near Kanazawa Station (Via Inn Kanazawa), where a bed was placed next to a sofa in a similar layout. After relaxing briefly in my room, I went to the dining area on the first floor. The menu included some local specialties from Fukui (such as Echizen soba and sauce katsudon). I chose sauce katsudon for my meal. Afterward, I returned to my room and enjoyed a pleasant time there. The next morning when I looked out of my window, I saw beautiful morning scenery (as shown in two images). After checking out of your accommodation, I walked to Echizen-Takefu Station and boarded the Shinkansen for further sightseeing. I was truly impressed with staying at your hotel near this convenient Shinkansen station location. Thank you very much! I'd love to stay again!

We stayed at Chalet Ivy Jozankei for our honeymoon. When we arrived, we were a little surprised by the steep downhill slope, but a staff member quickly came over and helped carry our luggage, which was a huge help. The mango tea served at check-in was delicious, and we felt warmly welcomed. All of the staff were kind and attentive, and together with the calm atmosphere throughout the Hotel, it made for a truly relaxing stay both physically and mentally. The lounge had a wonderful view, and since it was relatively quiet, we were able to enjoy window seats many times. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and very satisfying. We used the bath in our Room about four or five times, and the public bath was often quiet as well, so we could take our time enjoying a relaxing soak on our own. Even after check-out, they drove us to the bus stop, and we were impressed by their thoughtful service down to every detail. Thanks to the heartfelt hospitality of the staff and the comfortable Facility environment, it was an exceptionally fulfilling stay. We would love to stay again.

I was drawn in by the Hotel photos on Yahoo! Travel. The Room was very spacious, with an open and clean feel, and I was able to relax comfortably. The open-air bath was a good size, the sauna was clean, and I personally found the cold plunge temperature very pleasant. The meals were also delicious. I would love to stay again.

A solo, relaxing trip with a Multiple Night Stay on weekdays. Grateful for the quiet Room provided in a peaceful area. Thanks to a little daytime drink, I traveled from Okayama Airport by train and bus. Surprisingly, the route bus from Fukuyama Station in Hiroshima Prefecture was closer to the Hotel's nearest bus stop and more convenient than using the Ibara Railway! (This is part of life in the Fukuyama metropolitan area.) Unfortunately, there wasn’t a direct route to neighboring Kasaoka City... While driving is definitely more advantageous for accessing this Hotel’s location, I stuck with using buses. From the nearby supermarket "Izumi Ibara Store," I even took a 100-yen bus to visit "Yomeirazu Kannon" for sightseeing. The still-standing "TSUTAYA FamilyMart Ibara Store" opens as early as 7 AM—impressive! The artificial Onsen was slightly hot at around 43°C; lowering it by 1–2 degrees to about 41°C would be ideal... Perhaps there’s no wall clock visible inside the large bath because everyone takes short baths? The complimentary breakfast at the Hotel was excellent despite being free of charge. The new building offered Rooms facing the national highway but remained quiet and comfortable!!

As it is newly built, everything was new and clean, including the Room. It was raining heavily when we arrived and my carry-on suitcase got quite wet, but a staff member wiped it down for us. Since it’s a bit of a walk from the station, it was a little tough in heavy rain. When entering the building, you take off your shoes and put them in the shoe locker, but since they go in while still wet, they hadn’t dried by morning. I later found out that disposable slippers are also available in the Room; I would have appreciated being asked or informed at check-in.

This is a Hotel where you can feel at ease. Everything was kept very clean, and there was a card from the housekeeping staff with a message like “Please relax and enjoy your stay.” When I checked in late, the staff kindly shared information about nearby shops. The complimentary drink service even included Yoghurppe, and throughout my stay I felt the warm hospitality that reflects local friendliness. I would definitely like to stay here again.

Kannai was new and very clean, and I was satisfied. Excellent value for money. It was also very convenient to be able to check in right after exiting the ticket gates.

We stayed for two nights in late August on a family trip. On the first night, I became unwell (likely heat exhaustion due to Kyoto’s climate and lack of sleep), and you kindly adjusted how dinner was served. You also prepared an ice pack and cold water, and all the staff offered warm words afterward as well—I truly caused you a lot of trouble. The next day we returned to the Accommodation early after sightseeing, but housekeeping was completed quickly and the Room was restored to a comfortable state. Our child had brought a favorite stuffed toy, and seeing it seated on the sofa warmed our hearts. I was also impressed that all staff had shared information such as my avoiding caffeine and our child’s preferences, and handled everything so naturally with thoughtful care. The timing of your check-ins and sense of distance were just right, and we experienced truly wonderful hospitality. We used the Room as a family of three (our child is in 6th grade), and it felt neither too large nor too small. Having a bath in the Room was especially nice because we could use it whenever we wanted. The water temperature was set to 41°C, which feels hot in summer, but we could adjust it by adding water. The changing area had floor heating, which helped prevent us from getting too chilled after bathing. Towels and water were replenished as well, so even if we sweated after bathing, it was great to be able to use clean towels and clothes. Also, there was a lovely fragrance the moment we entered the Room, with incense throughout the building—these scent touches made everything feel special and out of the ordinary. Every meal was truly delicious. Our child has many dislikes when it comes to seafood, but you accommodated this thoughtfully; plus, both days’ menus were different so we could enjoy variety. In particular, the charcoal-grilled style dishes along with Anto-jiru soup, takikomi gohan (seasoned rice), and Wakan 18 tea were excellent—our child loved them too. Breakfast also came with many rice accompaniments that were all delicious. The soups and dashi-based dishes especially felt very “Kyoto,” which we appreciated. Finally, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took care of us during our stay. We made wonderful memories in Kyoto thanks to you. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again as a family.
