I stayed in a room with a ceramic open-air bath. In front of us was a quiet beach after the swimming season. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, but the calm Seto Inland Sea—shallow and constantly changing—was very beautiful. At high tide in the middle of the night, the sea came right up to the road in front of the inn, creating an impressive scene you don’t often get to see. Dinner was heartfelt, homemade Japanese cuisine with an exceptionally large number of dishes, and I really appreciated the thoughtful presentation and tableware. If I could ask for one thing, I think reducing the number of items slightly and putting more cost into the main ingredients would create a menu with clearer highlights and make it even more appealing. As for the room, it had a practical layout leading from the vanity area to the shower room and then to a comfortable semi-open-air bath with a ceramic tub that was just the right size, so I had a very pleasant stay. However, it was disappointing that the sliding toilet door was extremely heavy; adding rollers would be an easy renovation that would make it much easier to use. Also, whatever fragrance is used in the elevator may be difficult for guests who are sensitive to chemicals. Keeping it clean is important; if any scent is added at all, something very subtle—such as light aromatherapy or a small sachet—would be better. There were beautiful fresh flowers arranged in the tokonoma alcove in my room, and all staff members were cheerful; I felt warmth that you can only find at a small inn like this. Finally, beds are much appreciated for elderly guests. The room is spacious enough that with minor remodeling it could become a lovely twin-bed Japanese-Western style room—and if so, I would like to stay here again.

The meals, the Room’s open-air bath, and the service were all excellent. We were able to fully enjoy a special getaway and relax at our own pace. We would love to visit again!

I was surprised to find my skin felt so smooth the next morning. The hot spring and large public bath were excellent. Dinner is served in a semi-private setting, so you can relax and enjoy your meal. Breakfast is buffet-style with a wide variety of options, and both Japanese and Western dishes are delicious. I went back for seconds of the clam miso soup. There is also a shuttle bus to the station, making it convenient even if you’re not driving.

We visited to enjoy a family vacation. THE HOUSE has wonderful taste. From the moment we stepped inside, we fell in love with the ocean view stretching across the entire window. We were also captivated by the sight of Mt. Fuji glowing in the sunset, and couldn’t stop taking photos. There was an original photo book casually placed there, and when we opened it, inspiring words appeared, which conveyed the lovely thoughts behind this place when it was built. Since it was Golden Week, Aburatsubo and Misaki Port were crowded, but coming back felt like returning to a secluded private villa where we could truly rest and enjoy the quiet. Also, at a Hotel or Ryokan you can feel slightly rushed about breakfast times, so it was great to spend relaxed “THE HOUSE time” without that. Our dog could also stretch out and seemed very happy. Thank you very much.

I stayed here during a training trip to Kyoto. It is conveniently located near Kyoto Station’s Hachijo Exit, with a convenience store on the way to the Hotel. The Room was spacious and clean, and the Hotel staff were kind. I had a comfortable stay.

This was my second stay. The Room size and Facility are fairly standard, but everything is well cleaned and feels very fresh and spotless. The real highlight is the breakfast—there’s a great variety, and everything is delicious. Made-to-order dishes like lemon steak and fried horse mackerel, limited-time specials, and the homemade pudding for dessert were all excellent—I was truly satisfied. The breakfast staff were also kind and attentive, making this a Hotel I’d happily recommend to others. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in town!

Mr./Ms. Chitose stayed with us for the third time this year. One of this Accommodation’s highlights is the meals, but above all, it’s the quality of the hot spring water. We look forward to visiting again.

We had been looking forward to our stay even before arriving. We stayed in a Room with a slide, and the kids were thrilled (an early elementary schooler and a 3-year-old). The Facility offerings were also excellent, so we had no trouble at all even with children (including a space where kids can play). They also organized a festival event inside the Hotel during our visit, and we joined that as well. All the staff were kind, and we felt their hospitality everywhere. The view from the rooftop terrace was wonderful (morning is recommended). During dinner, there was live music, and they included songs that children would enjoy, so it never got boring. Highly recommended for families with children. Of course, I think it would be a very satisfying stay for adults only as well. We will definitely return. Thank you very much for everything.

Being close to the station is everything. No matter what, being close to the station matters most. Getting to the Accommodation can be tough with luggage, but you arrive in no time, which is wonderful. They even offer a welcome drink service—thank you.

The following items were listed in the Facility information, so I brought them from home, but they were actually provided at the amenity bar. I was very pleased, but it might be helpful to update the Facility information for future guests. × Comb/Brush × Bath Additives × Yukata × Lotion × Emulsion × Makeup Remover This time, I was able to stay at a very reasonable price, and I also appreciated the extension cord and extra towels provided in the Room. I will definitely use this place again when visiting Wakayama!

The staff were very friendly, and the property was clean and comfortable throughout. The bed was quite high, so getting in and out was a bit difficult, but it was extremely comfortable to sleep on. Perhaps because the weather was nice, the boxed breakfast eaten outside was also excellent and delicious. I would love to stay here again.

It was a Hotel I booked for my wife. She said the large public bath was spacious and relaxing. She also said the breakfast had a good variety, so it never got boring.

I stayed here on a short trip to Ibaraki. Due to a mistake in my reservation, I asked to change from a smoking room to a non-smoking room, and even though it wasn’t really an appropriate time to call, they handled it politely—great first impression!! On the day as well, everyone was extremely courteous, and I could really feel the hotel’s high standards. Even though it was an inexpensive room, it had a solid table and chairs, so I was able to get plenty of work done! Although I received a welcome drink, there was also cold water in the fridge, which made me feel they truly care about their guests. The large parking lot is also great. One thing—I’m disappointed I didn’t get to try the famous late-night soba!! I’ll be back!!

This is a wonderful Hotel!! When making our Reservation, I called with various questions, and they answered everything kindly and thoroughly. Even when we arrived late for check-in at 6:00 p.m., they quickly arranged dinner so we could make it to the Yokagura performance, and we were able to go with plenty of time. The Room and the entire property were spotless, and everything was excellent—the soothing large Onsen bath, well-stocked amenities, and innovative two-way pillows that let you choose the height and firmness. We made a Reservation for two Rooms for three adults. Since the Rooms were different types, we assumed they would be on different floors, but they placed us in adjacent Rooms. My father has difficulty walking, and his Room was near the elevator, which was a huge help. I believe this was their thoughtful consideration—thank you very much. It’s clear that all staff provide warm service, work carefully, and always put guests first—this is truly an outstanding Hotel. We were moved by the breathtaking Takachiho Gorge we had long dreamed of seeing as well as Yokagura at night. Relaxing at this wonderful Accommodation made my father’s 80th birthday celebration and my birthday an unforgettable memory! To all the staff members—thank you so much!!

We stayed here to watch the Super Formula race in Motegi and to explore the surrounding area. The Facility was new, and we were very satisfied with the Onsen and breakfast. We were also soothed by Cocoa-chan’s warm welcome, and had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

I stayed here on a solo trip. When I arrived at the Accommodation, Lake Matsubara spread out right in front of me, and I spent time relaxing while enjoying the view from the window. The Room was very clean, spacious, and quiet, so I was able to unwind comfortably. The bath was spotless as well, which was great. The food was delicious, and I could really feel the care put into each dish. Even the plates were stylish and beautiful to look at. The tomato juice in the refrigerator was incredibly tasty. I was deeply impressed by how strongly the staff want guests to get to know this town—something I felt in many ways through their service and cuisine. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

Last year, when our whole family gathered for a homecoming, we stayed here and had a wonderful experience. The meals and the Facility were excellent, and above all, the warm hospitality from the proprietress and all the staff was outstanding. We were able to spend truly memorable time with my elderly mother and uncle, our dog, and the children. We stayed in two types of Rooms: two family groups in pet-friendly Rooms, and my mother’s group in a Japanese-style Room with an open-air bath. Both Rooms were spotless, well stocked with amenities, and very comfortable. For dinner, we enjoyed Saga beef at a relaxed pace with in-room dining. The Onsen was also incredibly soothing—soft water typical of Furu-yu, pleasantly lukewarm at body temperature—along with a sauna with great views. We used to enjoy trying different places each year, but everyone agreed to return to Suginoya again this year. We would love to come back again next year as well. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

A quiet setting, a clean Room with a great view, and above all, delicious meals made for a truly wonderful stay. I had the chance to speak with the owner at breakfast and could really feel the care and dedication they put into this place. They were such a lovely person, and I was truly glad I came. We stayed for 2 nights. The villa was very comfortable, and everywhere you look is picture-perfect. I think many guests stay here aiming for a photogenic experience, and in that respect you’ll definitely be satisfied. It would be perfect if you could catch the sunset too. Also, the Accommodation is quite visible from the main island side, so it was exciting when we spotted it. On the downside, you can just barely see the pool from the neighboring villa, and it’s a bit of a walk from the pool area to the bathroom. However, there are thoughtful touches—like speakers installed both indoors and outdoors that play acoustic guitar tracks—and features like a large garden. There are many points that set it apart from the villas that have been popping up all over Okinawa lately. Some Reviews mentioned lots of insects, but we hardly had any bugs come inside. On the contrary, there was a stag beetle on our pool float and that really made my day. A cat also came by to visit at night. We arrived in an Alphard; while the road leading to the Accommodation was surprisingly wide and easy to drive, the road right in front of the villa was narrow, and we had to make several back-and-forth adjustments to park. For check-in, a QR code was sent to our designated email address, but separately (from a different sender) an email with our Room number arrived from a Gmail domain. It went to spam, so at first we didn’t realize which Room we were supposed to enter. I’d prefer if they unified the sending address. Still, being able to complete everything contactlessly is appreciated. Also, drinks in the fridge are free, but we were told there would be no replenishment during a Multiple Night Stay. There is a vending machine on-site as well, but it doesn’t have alcohol—so keep that in mind.

We stayed here during an autumn foliage touring trip and loved it from the moment we arrived—the location and atmosphere of the pension were wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the private bath was great as well. The larger hair dryer made it quick to dry our hair, so we could return to our room without getting chilled. Best of all, the staff’s service was just right—friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
