This was our fifth stay in two consecutive years (we also visited 12 and 25 years ago, haha). The Room was clean, the meals were delicious, and we especially enjoyed the extra-ordered red ika somen. We also loved the welcome chestnut steamed yokan. We had one from a famous confectionery in Kyoto the day before, but this one suited our taste better. We bought some at the shop on our way home. Thank you very much for upgrading our Room as well. As we were leaving, the proprietress kindly said, “Please come again,” so we hope to visit again next year. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family of three with our child who had just turned one. As it was our first trip with a baby, we were a bit anxious, but we felt at ease thanks to services such as stroller rental, bed guard installation, and a diaper trash bin in the room. Washer-dryers are also available on each floor, which was very convenient. Although there are many international guests, everyone was calm and considerate, and we were able to enjoy a relaxing chill time in the lounge and on the terrace. The Accommodation is also kept very clean.

Having a public bath was great for relieving fatigue. The staff greeted us warmly and pleasantly. Breakfast was also delicious.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. The Facility is new and spotless, and the bathroom and bathtub are properly spacious. The Room layout is also well designed—the door isn’t directly visible from the desk, so I could work calmly. Breakfast was high quality too, and the meat soup was delicious! They also served excellent fruit, and at this price with breakfast included, I’m very satisfied. It’s a Business Hotel that could easily feel impersonal, but I discovered some great books at the library café at night, and the staff’s posted recommendations for local restaurants felt warm and welcoming. I often stay at Hotels that cost JPY 20,000–30,000 per night, but this place is more than good enough.

The Accommodation is still quite new and filled with a pleasant fragrance. You can choose your favorite scented diffuser and bring it with you. In the lounge, we enjoyed a variety of drinks and snacks. Dinner at the counter featuring Miyazaki beef teppanyaki was wonderful, and we enjoyed chatting with the chef while dining. For breakfast, we could also add a few extra menu items, which made it even more enjoyable. Everything was excellent—the in-house library, gym, in-room jacuzzi, complimentary drinks and rice crackers in the refrigerator, and the staff’s kind and attentive service. We would definitely like to stay again if we visit Miyazaki in the future.

To get straight to the point, this became an absolute favorite! I used to think staying overnight in Arima Onsen was expensive (especially with meals), so my usual style was to stay at a Hotel in Kobe, then stop by Arima Onsen the next day—soak at Kin no Yu or Gin no Yu and enjoy street food. This time I found this Hotel, and since it’s a No Meals Included Plan but still comes with tickets for the public baths, I was excited that I could finally fully enjoy Arima Onsen!! I arrived in the early afternoon and they kindly let me park my car at the Hotel. From the very beginning, all of the staff were incredibly kind and welcomed me so warmly! The location is easy to find since it’s just up from the shopping street, and Taiko no Yu is also right nearby. I walked from the Hotel and enjoyed street food starting from below all the way up to shops higher up, but it never felt far coming back. Also, while it may be an older property, everything is kept very clean, so it didn’t bother me at all—I was completely comfortable. I went to Kin no Yu, Gin no Yu, and Taiko-no-Yu Donokan as well, but personally I liked this Hotel’s bath the best! It wasn’t crowded and I could relax in a spacious setting. The foot acupressure bath felt amazing—I enjoyed it morning and night like a kid again! You do one loop through both cold water and hot water areas, and the stones underfoot give just the right amount of stimulation. Since I happened to be alone at that time, I went around several times! The hot water itself was also fantastic! The post-bath drink bar was another nice touch. And even the sweets with tea in my Room were something I already loved from Arima Onsen—so for the first time in a while I bought some at the shop to take home! Staying at this Hotel let me enjoy Arima Onsen to its fullest—it was refreshing and wonderful. Thank you as well for your pleasant service—I'll definitely come again!

We stayed with a same-day Reservation, and everything was excellent. We arrived later than planned and were almost late for our dinner Reservation, but every staff member remained welcoming and provided outstanding service. Thank you very much. Both the open-air bath and the indoor bath were great. The dinner and breakfast were especially delicious, and the all-you-can-eat grilled fish at breakfast was wonderful. We would definitely like to stay again on our next visit.

I chose this Hotel because I wanted to see Head Chef Takabayashi of Kureto in person. The Room was spacious, with the bath and toilet separated, and both the bathtub and washing area were large, making it very comfortable. For dinner, I dined at Kureto hoping to meet the chef. Every dish was delicious, and the chef came to our table to greet us; we had a wonderful conversation and spent a truly meaningful time. If I come to Kure again, I would love to stay here again.

I ended up traveling on short notice during Silver Week and booked in a hurry, but it’s reassuring when the service is consistently reliable anywhere. I gave 3 stars because I was injured for an unrelated reason and didn’t use the bath (I only rinsed off with the shower).

This was our second stay at Sekiyo. We were upgraded from Taikan and were able to stay in Kangetsuan. It was our first time in a detached guest room, and it was very quiet. From time to time, small birds came to the tree by the window, and my spouse and I were able to relax at a leisurely pace. We also fully enjoyed both the indoor bath and the open-air bath. The meals were wonderful—there were so many dishes that we couldn’t finish them all, and everything was delicious. The attentive service from the room attendant was excellent as well, and we would love to visit Sekiyo again.

The building is new and very clean. Even though it was the summer off-season, it was a great deal to get dinner included at this price. The Room was clean and spacious, with a clear view of Mt. Yotei, and we were even able to see a sea of clouds in the morning. Dinner was delicious, and the portion size was just right—not too much. The large public bath is compact, but there are several types, so we were satisfied. I accidentally left something behind in the Room, but when I contacted them they responded immediately and sent it to my home. This is a Hotel that makes me want to stay here again if I visit Niseko.

The Room was very clean and spacious. The view from the balcony was great, and I was impressed by how spotless it was—clean enough to lie down on. The staff were cheerful and kind. I would definitely stay here again!

After pre-checking in in the early afternoon and leaving my luggage, I found that by the time of the regular check-in in the evening, my luggage had already been placed in my Room, which made everything very easy. This is standard service at a city Hotel, so I assume it’s fair to consider Grand Intelligent Hotel a city Hotel as well. Having the toilet and bathroom separated is also a great layout for a twin Room. It’s very close to Hiroshima Station, and now that you can use the 2nd-floor passageway at AER AER, it’s also possible to access the Hotel without going underground. As anyone familiar with Hiroshima Station will know, both the Shinkansen and conventional lines mainly use ticket gates on the 2nd floor (there is also an IC-only gate underground), so being able to go from the 2nd floor all the way to Kawabata without going underground is very convenient. I’d like to stay here again next year.

Relax in the Onsen, enjoy delicious meals, soak your feet in the footbath while drinking milk, and take your time admiring the stunning view through the large window from the Room. It was truly wonderful. The food was excellent; every dish was prepared with care by the head chef, and even the tableware was beautiful. The course meal came in just the right portions, and everything tasted great. The breakfast buffet was also all handmade with rich, thoughtful flavors. The Onsen was clean and well maintained, and I went in many times. The staff service was outstanding as well. Their spirit of hospitality showed even in the smallest details, and the service was excellent. My companion was very satisfied too. I felt it’s a Hotel where adults can relax and enjoy a luxurious stay. The 4.6-star rating wasn’t a lie. Unfortunately we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji this time, so I’ll visit again. It was also amazing to lie down and watch the clouds move through a picture-frame-like window. It really is a great Hotel.

We stayed here with four generations of our family. Because our 93-year-old grandmother has become more self-conscious around others and rarely goes out to eat, we chose a Room with a private Onsen. She was truly delighted, and we are so glad we chose this Room. Since it was a trip with four generations, we wanted a space where everyone could relax at their own pace, so we made a Reservation for the Wakakusa Room. Thanks to the spacious Room, everyone in the family was able to spend time comfortably and freely without any stress. We usually live in Mie, so it’s rare for our whole family to travel together. This time, traveling with our 3-year-old son and 93-year-old grandmother, we were able to create wonderful memories as a family. We hope we can all visit again while our grandmother is still doing well. Thank you very much for such an unforgettable stay.

I stayed here as a base for sightseeing in Matsuyama. It offers great access to the airport, Matsuyama Castle, Dogo Onsen, and the downtown area. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes—just as expected—and I was very satisfied. Above all, the staff’s respectful sense of distance and thoughtful attention made my stay especially comfortable. There is a fully equipped grooming room, and the high-quality shampoo and conditioner were excellent—we were very satisfied. The view was disappointing due to dense fog and rain, but we had a great time playing in the covered dog run. We also received plenty of treats and food for our dogs, so we will definitely be back.

A bit pricey, but the furniture and beds are high quality, and the place feels clean and upscale. The tableware and kitchen tools were also stylish and easy to use. What felt most comfortable was the spacious entryway area with a large pet toilet—thoughtfully set up so our dog was less likely to have accidents, which let us relax without worry. The sauna is also well designed with a great flow from the bath, making it very comfortable. We’d love to stay again!

Before each stay, it has become our tradition to visit Niutsuhime Shrine—a UNESCO World Heritage Site about five minutes away by car. This time, we joined a talk held from 5:00 PM in the lobby lounge about Niutsuhime Shrine. The storyteller shared fascinating behind-the-scenes stories that only someone closely connected to the shrine could tell; before we knew it, around 30 minutes had flown by. The next day after checkout, we visited Niutsuhime Shrine again and also explored nearby historic spots we learned about during the talk. It allowed us to worship from a completely new perspective—and we discovered power spots we never would have found on our own. The traditional house café near the shrine that was recommended to us was also wonderful, making this trip even more meaningful than ever! We heard these talks will continue on an irregular basis—if one happens during your stay, we highly recommend joining. We also heard that on some days there is a guided visit starting at 7:00 AM (meeting at the lobby lounge) for worship at Niutsuhime Shrine. No matter how many seasons pass or how much time goes by, this is a place we want to return to again and again. It’s truly a blissful hotel—so full of happiness that it feels impossible to find anywhere else!

I stayed here on a business trip. It wasn’t as small as I expected, and there was enough space to move around comfortably. The property isn’t new, but it was well cleaned. Above all, I appreciated the large desk and the effective air conditioning. The front desk staff were pleasant, and I had no issues with overall convenience during my stay. However, the complimentary drip coffee didn’t taste good, which was disappointing—but since it’s a free service, it can’t really be helped.
