This was my second visit since coming in May. My dog (my beloved “daughter”) was thrilled. It was about 5°C cooler than down below, but the late-summer heat was still intense, and it felt hot in the sun. My dog ran around the nature-filled dog run and had a great time. Because it was a weekday after the Obon holidays, it wasn’t crowded, so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. The building was clean, and the Room was also very clean. The large public bath felt like we had it to ourselves, so we could unwind and fully enjoy it. (We went twice.) The food was delicious as well. Since it’s close to home, it’s easy to plan travel time both ways, and for me this Facility has an ideal location. I’d love to take another overnight trip with my dog. All of the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Thank you very much.

I stay here about once a month. The staff and everyone I meet at the Hotel are very kind, and I always enjoy a comfortable stay in the Room.

With a homely atmosphere and very kind staff, I had a truly comfortable stay. Every dish was delicious, and I was completely satisfied. The Facility was well cleaned and felt very fresh and spotless—an Accommodation where I could really relax. I also appreciated the warm hospitality from all the staff. I would definitely like to stay again next year!

The front desk staff were polite and genuinely caring. The room was spacious, with a two-tier refrigerator, a large TV, plenty of power outlets, and USB charging. The chair was big like a gaming sofa and very comfortable. Breakfast lived up to its reputation. I chose the Japanese set, and I was surprised that the rice was served in an ohitsu wooden tub. The side dishes were delicious, and there was coffee after the meal—nothing to complain about. I chose this hotel for three reasons: the low price, free parking, and breakfast. I was satisfied with all of them. I’ve been traveling solo to various places recently, but this is the first hotel where I felt it was a shame to leave after just one night. As mentioned earlier, not only the front desk staff but also everyone in the dining area provided pleasantly courteous service that made me feel great. I’d like to come back when I try again to see the whirlpools (Uzu-shio). This stay became one of my favorite travel memories. As for the hot spring/bath facilities, I only used the shower, so it was neither good nor bad for me personally. The facilities aren’t new, but as noted above, what satisfied me outweighed everything else. Thank you very much.

This was our second stay—thank you again for taking care of us. We chose this place because the front desk staff are all so kind and gentle, which makes us feel at ease. The amenities are well stocked, too. The room isn’t very large (lol), but the bed is big and very comfortable. Despite being so close to the station, it’s not noisy at all. There’s also a supermarket right in front that opens from 7:00 a.m., and more. If we stay in Koenji again, this is the only place for us!!

Last time, we arrived after visiting other sightseeing spots and felt a bit rushed, so we made this reservation hoping to relax properly this time. Fortunately, we were blessed with great weather and truly enjoyed not only the dinner course, but also the sunset and breakfast on the balcony. Based on photos from our previous stay, my daughter created a printmaking piece, and I came wearing a T-shirt printed with it—so I was happy to be able to show it to everyone. I’m writing to let you know that the dishes we ordered through “Let’s Eat at Home Today!” arrived safely today. We’ll enjoy them while reminiscing about our stay. We look forward to seeing you again someday. Thank you very much.

The Hotel Room was very spacious, with a sitting area and large paintings, which allowed me to relax and feel at ease. I had an online interview to secure a new project, and I was so impressed by the elegant Room that it put me in a confident mindset. Perhaps because I took the interview calmly, I was told, “Perfect.” The spaciousness of the Room brought peace of mind, and I was extremely satisfied. The balcony had a table and chairs, there was also a TV in the bathroom, and the ceiling featured special curved woodwork that made it feel like being on a ship. I was able to spend truly meaningful time here. I look forward to staying again.

I used the Plan with dinner and breakfast included. I ordered the salmon bento, and it came with a generous portion of rice. The miso soup was also delicious, with nutritious ingredients such as daikon radish and meatballs. Breakfast offered many small, homemade-style side dishes to go with rice. The main dish was a hearty omelet. When I mentioned there was no bread, they brought it right away, and their service was excellent. The front desk staff explained everything clearly, the room was very clean, and the location is close to the interchange with plenty of nearby shops—overall, it felt like great value for money.

All the meals were delicious, and the Onsen was wonderful. The Room and bath areas were kept very clean, so we had a very comfortable stay. The amenities were well provided and really helpful. There was bottled water in the Room refrigerator, and there was also a lounge where you can freely enjoy soft drinks; we had coffee after dinner as well. The Japanese garden in the courtyard was also beautiful. We could choose our favorite yukata, which made us feel even more excited. All the staff were kind and helpful. There were lots of cute cat-themed items in the lobby, hallways, and lounge, which was very soothing. We were able to relax at a leisurely pace. There was a roadside station and a supermarket nearby, so the location was convenient as well. It was such a lovely Accommodation that we would love to stay again. Thank you very much!

There was a wide variety of welcome drinks. It was also fun to compare three different types of mandarin orange juice. One concern was that there was only one elevator, so it got crowded in the morning. Also, I didn’t find the miso soup at breakfast very tasty. Other than that, it was a wonderful hotel.

We truly felt your wonderful service and hospitality throughout our stay. The location, the meals, the baths, and all of the staff were genuinely excellent. You even prepared kaiseki cuisine for our 9-year-old son and accommodated a change to our breakfast time. Both the dinner kaiseki and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and it was clear how much care and effort went into them.

This was our second stay! The summer atmosphere was wonderful, and as always, both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The portions are generous, but even I could finish everything easily. I also love the charming indoor bath—it has such a lovely ambiance. Everyone’s hospitality was outstanding, and we were very well taken care of. I’d love to visit again if I have the chance!

It was hot in Kyoto, so I really appreciated how close it was to the station! The Room was clean and I was satisfied, and the staff were very kind, making my stay comfortable.

A well-balanced breakfast gave me the energy to head to work, and the large bath helped me unwind after a long day. Despite the clean Room and convenient location, the price is reasonable. There are no excessive amenities, but all necessary services are well provided, making my business trip comfortable. They also handled taxi arrangements with great care, and I felt it was a Hotel where I could stay with peace of mind. I was also satisfied with the user-friendly in-Room features such as a TV that shows how crowded the dining area and large public bath are, as well as an air purifier.

With its expansive grounds, tranquil atmosphere, seemingly oversized guest rooms, and dedicated attendants, this is a top-tier Japanese-style Ryokan. While it did feel a bit dated in places—such as not having enough power outlets by the bed—we were very satisfied with our stay. It was disappointing that the private family bath (Nishi-no-Yu) was closed due to reduced hot spring water volume depending on the season.

We stayed here for our second night. We were blessed with great weather—it was perfect. Since we arrived early, we visited Otaki Falls nearby, but the valley was deep and the elevation changes were intense, leaving us completely exhausted. (There were some fallen trees and rockfalls, so we had to take a detour.) This is a wonderful auberge, just as reputed. That day it was only our group, so we fully enjoyed the private bath, and the Room was lovely—we could relax and truly enjoy a cool summer getaway. Every dish was delicious, and the wine at dinner was outstanding. We were especially impressed by the peach dessert. The owners’ warm hospitality was exceptional—this has become an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again.

From the welcome sweets, this inn instantly lifts your spirits. The room is wonderful, and the therapeutic sleep treatment feels so good that you’ll feel lighter afterward. They carefully listen to your requests, and you can receive the treatment in your room, which makes it even nicer to enjoy it in a fully relaxed state. Dinner is beautiful to look at, every dish is thoughtfully prepared, and we were completely satisfied. Breakfast was also delicious across the board—especially the fish, which was incredibly flavorful and richly fatty. The service is excellent as well, and I highly recommend this inn. I’ll definitely be back.

We chose to stay here as a family because the photos on the website made the location look great. We weren’t sure about the portions with the self-serve meals, especially with two small children, but there was more than enough—we couldn’t finish it (laugh), and even our kids were surprised at how much they ate. The bed was spacious and very comfortable. There was no TV, so we didn’t have access to information, which made us a bit uneasy and reminded me how dependent I am on it. Overall we were satisfied, but the noise and vibrations from trucks while sleeping were a downside. We’d like to stay again, but we’re unsure because we don’t want to end up sleep-deprived. If it weren’t for that, we would definitely book again next time.

This was our second stay in four months, and my husband and I stayed for one night. Just like the first time, we were able to relax completely. During our first visit, I wasn’t feeling well due to overwork, so I only managed to use the bath in our Room once and didn’t get many chances to talk with Madame. This time, I was in perfect condition, and I was truly happy to be able to visit again. As before, the cuisine was beautifully presented and of course tasted wonderful—we enjoyed everything all the way through dessert. We were genuinely moved by the chef’s uncompromising dedication. Also, on this second visit, we really realized just how high Madame’s level of hospitality is. She remembered exactly what drinks we had ordered last time, and we were impressed by her unwavering commitment to exceptional service. Next time, I’d love to visit with my sister as well—she loves traveling and good food. Thank you very much!

This was my second stay, following my visit in July. Perhaps because of that, the owner seemed more relaxed than last time, and I felt we were able to connect a little more. In my previous Review, I wrote things like how it didn’t feel like the cats were the type you could constantly pet, and that one of them seemed unhappy when we took photos. I got the impression the owner may have been a bit concerned about those comments. However, what I really meant was that this Accommodation is worth visiting not for the cats, but for the food—so if it came across as a negative Review, I truly apologize. This time, Candy looked very pleased when I petted her around her neck and chin, and Mew repeatedly showed off catching food in her mouth. I felt we became friendlier than last time. Cats are naturally moody—and just like people, there are times when they’re not in the mood. Since taste is subjective, it might be clearer for first-time guests if you highlight “cute cats” rather than focusing too much on the cuisine. Personally though, I think of this place as: amazing food first, plus the bonus of meeting adorable cats—so honestly, I would come even if there were no cats. This time I added breakfast as well. The homemade dressing was delicious; the miso soup had a rich dashi flavor; and overall—including dinner—you can really feel how much care goes into every dish. Dinner included some items from last time as well as some changes, so even repeat guests can enjoy it. I travel almost every month throughout The whole country and overseas (40 countries), so I can’t visit very often—but whenever I’m heading to the Izu area again, I’d love to return. Please keep running this Accommodation for as long as your energy and motivation allow.
