The air conditioning was not very effective. Otherwise, the bed comfort and meals were excellent. I would like to stay again.

This was my first stay here, and it felt like the cleanest Business Hotel I’ve ever used. Not only the Room, but also the unit bath and all water areas were spotless, and it was clear that cleaning is thorough down to every detail. The most memorable part was how comfortable my stay felt. All of the staff welcomed me with smiles and were kind and warm. From check-in to check-out, I felt at ease the whole time—it was service that made me want to stay again. For dinner, I ate at Grill Kyo inside the Hotel; it had a calm atmosphere and the food was delicious, so I was very satisfied. Afterward, I went to a nearby traditional public bathhouse called “Kingyo no Yu” and was able to relax and soothe my travel fatigue. With its convenient location near the station, clean Room, warm staff, and great food, it was an extremely satisfying stay. When I visit Tochigi again, I’d like to use this Accommodation again.

Due to heavy snowfall the day before, I made a last-minute Reservation because I didn’t think I’d be able to get to work if I went home. Since dinner wasn’t included, I checked in after picking up some food. I was happy to receive one beer as a welcome drink. I headed straight to the bath—had the large public bath and the sauna all to myself, which was incredibly comfortable. The sauna was around 84°C; I did three quiet sets at a relaxed pace. The cold bath is always running with tap water and stays clean. There are two chairs. It’s very comfortable—a Hotel stay–only sauna where you don’t have to worry about other people watching. That alone makes it worth recommending. Breakfast is all-you-can-eat; I ate well, relaxed, and then went to work. I had a comfortable stay without being late, and thank you for the polite service at the front desk. You get service that exceeds the price. It was a great Hotel. I’ll use it again.

We stayed as a couple. Many Accommodations today try to satisfy guests by having everything fully equipped, but this place isn’t about that. Instead, the landlady who handles everything on her own offers such thoughtful care, warm hospitality, and attentive service that it more than makes up for it—an Accommodation that left us truly satisfied. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed local sake as well. They prepared an irori hearth and even set up a brazier outside so we could enjoy stargazing, and they also provided hot-water bottles—unique pleasures different from the usual stay. An Accommodation that satisfies the eyes, ears, stomach, and heart; we’d love to visit again.

Unlike a Hotel, it had a traditional tatami Room with an old-fashioned charm. Two of us stayed, and it was a comfortable Accommodation. There is also an Onsen about a 10-minute walk away, so it’s easy to see why this Accommodation is popular with riders.

Used by a family of four. Since our children are small, we chose in-Room dining for dinner. Both the in-Room meal and the breakfast buffet were delicious. Our 2-year-old loved the kids’ area and played there for over two hours. There also seemed to be many guests who looked like government employees, and we hardly saw any foreign visitors. The only disappointments were that the futons were a bit thin, the mobile signal was weak, and the Wi-Fi connection was not very reliable.

It was a beautifully renovated Accommodation. The meals prepared by the owner were delicious. The children also enjoyed having breakfast in the courtyard. The owner is friendly, and very knowledgeable, so our conversations were enjoyable. Walking around Usuki was not crowded, and we were able to enjoy the charming old scenery. If we have the chance, we would definitely like to stay again and explore the town.

The meals—especially the BBQ dinner—were delicious. The Maeda beef steak was outstanding. Since we stayed at the Super Premium Site, it was convenient that we could drive directly onto the site. The spacious grounds also made our dogs very happy; seeing them run around excitedly was truly satisfying. It felt like a luxurious private dog run experience. The beds inside the tent were also extremely comfortable. The large public bath in the clubhouse was fairly standard, but I appreciated the free massage chair in the changing room. One downside was that although there is an air cooler and a fan inside the tent, they didn’t work effectively at all. (It was comfortable from sunset until early morning, but during summer daytime it felt like a greenhouse—unbearable!) I recommend staying outside the tent during the day. It was also very inconvenient that there is no toilet on-site; if you see this as part of embracing outdoor inconveniences (no toilet, no refrigerator, no air conditioning, etc.), then it might be acceptable—but if you advertise it as a Super Premium Site, I honestly wish basic comfort (at least a toilet and heating/cooling) were provided. (Especially given that it wasn’t cheap.) There is a small cabin on the site with air conditioning and it was wonderfully cool, but it’s so small and empty that I did wonder whether it makes sense to pay such a high rate only to spend most of your time in that cabin… After check-in there isn’t really anywhere else cool within the site, so you end up taking refuge in this cabin, staying in your car with A/C on, or going to the clubhouse… Since the tent itself is so lovely, it would have been ideal if we could have spent most of our time comfortably inside it. I also strongly felt how convenient it would be if there were a toilet inside that air-conditioned cabin. Since you have to walk to the clubhouse restroom each time, you need to keep reminding yourself to go before it becomes urgent. (Waiting until your limit might be tough!) Unfortunately we couldn’t see the starry sky at night because of bad weather—it was disappointing—but I’d love to come back for another try next time, aiming for a more comfortable season! All staff members were very kind and made our stay pleasant. Thank you very much.

First, thank you for coming outside to greet us at the entrance. We were welcomed with Chinese black tea with honey as a welcome drink. The meals were home-style cuisine from Guilin, China, based on the idea that food is medicine, along with creative Japanese and Western dishes; both the aperitif and the tea were from China. The owner’s wife—more like a traditional hostess—is originally from Guilin, China. The ingredients were also carefully selected, making everything delicious: vegetables and rice from Nagano, fish, and fruit from the husband’s family in Yamagata. The Room had just been renovated and was clean and comfortable. We appreciated having a unit bath in each Room. It may not suit those who want to soak in a large bathtub, though. Breakfast was also healthy and made with carefully chosen ingredients. There was a drink bar and coffee from China as well. We could even see wild birds and squirrels from the window. When we took a walk nearby, we also encountered deer. We were touched that they came outside again to see us off when we left. It was so good that we will definitely return.

The Room was clean, and the owner was very kind. I would like to stay again when I want to relax. If you do your shopping in advance, you can sometimes enjoy a peaceful, relaxing time. Thank you very much.

I learned about this Hotel through the Sosui and Otomasa connection and decided I absolutely had to visit, so I stayed here. I’ve long been interested in fermentation and rice koji and have been studying it, so I was really looking forward to it. Dinner was, of course, all about fermentation and koji—and it was even more delicious than I expected; I was truly impressed. As a sauna lover, I was also excited for the sauna, and since there are only a few Rooms, it turned out to be completely private! It was one of the best “reset” experiences I’ve ever had in a sauna. The water provided was also silica-rich natural mineral water. The Room was quiet, spacious, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing. On top of that, I got to try making shio-koji and heard so much about koji from the professionals at the Facility—making this a truly meaningful stay. From here on, I’d like to get even more deeply involved in the world of koji. Thank you very much.

Both the front desk staff and the head therapist were wonderful. The Shuttle Service staff from Nasu-Shiobara Station was very kind. Thanks to them, we had a fantastic stay. It was like a dream to be able to enjoy such delicious, authentic Peking duck in Nasu Highlands. We will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

It was about a 40-minute drive from Naha Airport. Koza House is in a convenient location with plenty of great day-trip spots nearby, and getting anywhere was effortless. Before our stay, the owner recommended family-friendly places and delicious local restaurants, so we put together our Plan based on that information. The owner really knows good food! Every place we tried was excellent. The house was very clean and incredibly well equipped—almost too convenient. It’s a very comfortable home. To make mornings smoother, I recommend picking up some basics on the way—bread, soup, coffee, and milk (a must for our child)—so you can have a light breakfast before heading out. There are still many more places we want to visit. We’d love to stay again next time. Thank you very much.

I was a bit worried because there were no Reviews of this Hotel, but it was perfectly fine as a Business Hotel—in fact, the value for money was excellent. From Kagoshima Airport, I took the airport limousine bus and got off at Taniyama tram stop; the fare was 1,800 yen and it took just under an hour. It’s a 5-minute walk from the bus stop, and there is a FamilyMart there. The Hotel has a large public bath with Binchotan charcoal Onsen, which I enjoyed many times. There were three free massage chairs as well. Breakfast was simple but more than sufficient, and even over two nights the menu changed so I didn’t get bored. Bicycle rental is free for two hours, so I used it to shop at AEON Kagoshima; the electric bike was very comfortable. Thanks to Mr./Ms. Takahashi and family at this BBH Hotel, I had a very pleasant stay.

Thank you so much for picking us up at Kawana Station in the rain, even though our arrival time was uncertain. Thanks to you, we were able to see our grandchildren. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was excellent, and we would love to stay again.

We arrived early at the Accommodation in rainy weather. When I asked if we could leave our luggage, they said, “Your Room is already ready,” and let us in right away. When I made the Reservation, I wrote a question and even received a call in reply. On the day as well, they told us recommended spots around Yubara Onsen and how to get there, which made our trip even more enjoyable. It was raining, so we couldn’t fully relax in the rooftop open-air bath, which was a shame—but the water was wonderfully soothing. The building is old, but the toilet and wash area have been renovated. Everything was very clean and comfortable to use. The entrance was also lovely, filled with flowers. The meals were more plentiful than expected and delicious.
