Right after breakfast I had to work, and they kindly kept things quiet—even during cleanup, they were very careful not to make noise. The bath was also wonderful. Some people mention insects or noise, but I didn’t experience any of that at all!

A last-minute trip to Fukui. We stayed at Mayu-san’s Accommodation for one night, and they took great care of us. We originally made a Reservation simply because we wanted to visit a gravel beach and this was the only available place nearby, but it exceeded our expectations in the best way!! Since we had been playing at the beach, we headed straight to the bath right after check-in. There are four washing stations, and from the tub you can look out over the Sea of Japan. In the women’s bath, there were about six types of shampoo and conditioner to choose from—such a thoughtful touch! Dinner was what we had been looking forward to: an incredible boat platter packed with fresh sashimi. We actually said out loud, “Is this really for two people?!” The selection may vary by day, but everything was extremely fresh and delicious. Even though we visited in August, we also got to enjoy crab. When I asked later, I was told that Echizen crab in winter is even better—now I’m already excited. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, they served one whole fried flounder per person—what a surprise!! Rice refills were free as well. It was also great that we could enjoy everything in our Room. After dinner they laid out our futons for us, and our family of three—completely full—immediately sprawled out flat (laugh). There was only one small thing I noticed: At lights-out, it would have been nice to have a nightlight or bedside lamp! If there actually was one and I missed it, sorry about that! We also had breakfast in our Room the next morning. The grilled mackerel was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had!! Ah… I want to eat it again. The proprietress and staff were all truly cheerful and kind—we really felt their warmth. They took care of everything so efficiently that we had no inconveniences during our stay. Everything was kept very clean throughout as well, making it a comfortable stay. Since it took us over four hours each way from Nara, one night felt too short—I wanted more time to enjoy Fukui’s seafood. We’ll definitely be back!! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

The Room was clean, and the Onsen was amazing! The food was incredibly delicious and very generous in portion size, so even men will be satisfied! It would be helpful to have a fan in summer. I will definitely come again.

The Room was spacious, and dinner was so plentiful we couldn’t finish it. Even during the Obon holiday, there were not many guests, so we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. I wished breakfast had a bit more variety. The bath area had tatami flooring, which felt nice to walk on. The price was reasonable and we were satisfied.

Thank you for taking care of us on our one-night, two-day family trip over the long weekend. It seems Reservations for karaoke, table tennis, billiards, and the private family bath are available on a first-come, first-served basis. With an 18:00 check-in, we could only make a Reservation for billiards. Even though the price is the same, it felt like we missed out a bit. Meal times also fill up starting with the most popular slots. I appreciated that both guests and staff were mostly Japanese. The buffet was great, and having all drinks included was excellent. However, many of the staff were older and seemed to have a hard time keeping up with refills... I would have liked to see younger staff working more efficiently there. That said, the senior staff worked hard and were very polite!! The Room was spacious and nice, but there were snack crumbs under the desk... It would be helpful to have a lint roller in the Room.

This was my first time staying at Goryo AZ. The front desk team and housekeeping staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which made my stay truly comfortable. I would be happy to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Conveniently located near the station. There was a large public bath, which I enjoyed as I like such facilities. A female staff member at the front desk made me feel more comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of dishes, especially plenty of vegetables, and it was delicious. Just one thing: I gave a rating of 4 not because of any fault on the hotel's part but because I didn't check my accommodation plan carefully enough—it turned out to be a smoking room. Since I don't smoke, the faint smell of tobacco in the room bothered me. I'll make sure to check next time. Thank you for your hospitality!

We truly enjoyed our stay as a family thanks to the excellent location—close to town and with a private beach. Thank you very much. Cats may come into the garden, which we found soothing, but guests who are not comfortable with cats may want to be aware of this in advance.

It was good. However, while there is a restaurant in the Hotel, there are not many places to eat around the East Exit of Higashi-Hanno Station. There is a FamilyMart inside Higashi-Hanno Station, and near the Hotel there are a 7-Eleven and a Lawson.

We made a Reservation at this Hotel because my husband had stayed here before and really loved the Onsen. It was our first time back in Arima Onsen in a while, and since it was also his first time trying the meals—and the restaurant had just been renovated—we decided to book. We were also able to reserve a Room where we could enjoy a Silver Onsen bath. The renovated restaurant was beautiful, and dinner was an Italian buffet, with Japanese dishes available as well, so we enjoyed a great variety. Breakfast was also a buffet in the same restaurant, but with different items from dinner, and we ate plenty of delicious food. Both dinner and breakfast offered paper cups for takeout, which made us happy since the Room only had sencha tea bags. The Onsen was very relaxing, and I could see why my husband likes it so much. The Silver Onsen bath in our Room was a view-bath style that you fill yourself, and it was wonderful to soak at our own pace. The view from the lobby was lovely too—it was a stay where we could unwind and enjoy great meals. Thank you very much.

The meals were delicious, the amenities were well stocked, and even our young children had a great time—it was wonderful.

Located in a downtown area, I was unsure at first, but even though I checked in around midnight, the front desk staff kindly assisted me, which made me very happy. The Room was clean, and I was able to sleep well and relax. Breakfast included side dishes unique to Akita and was delicious, and the female staff member was also kind and told me about some tasty local items. I don’t think I’ll be visiting Akita Prefecture again, but if I have friends going to Akita, I would recommend this place without hesitation. Thank you very much.

A welcome drink was provided. You could choose any one drink you liked. I've never seen such a service before. The staff who assisted us were very kind. I'm glad I stayed here!

It was an absolutely amazing stay. I was truly impressed by the outstanding, well-equipped Facility that anticipated every need. The staff were very considerate with the luggage we sent in advance, prepared a pool for the children, and even when an accident happened, their first words were to check on us. Talking with friends around the barbecue, setting off fireworks with the kids under the sunset sky, and looking up at the stars late at night—every moment became a wonderful memory. My only regret is that because it was so hot, we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor facilities outside the cottage, such as basketball and the trampoline. We will definitely visit again next year. My wife had long wanted to stay at this Hotel, so we were glad we could make a Reservation this time. The Room was beautifully maintained, and we had a very comfortable stay. We also appreciate your kind guidance about the breakfast option, which we hadn’t planned on— the portion size was just right. It’s close to Ichikawa Station, and it has become one of the Hotels we would definitely like to use again.

Although the building is quite old, the reasonable pricing, convenient location, large public bath, and services such as welcome drinks and late-night ochazuke make this a favorite Hotel of mine, and I stay here again and again. Even though I live in the same prefecture, I stay almost every week on my days off as a short getaway. I look forward to staying with you again.

I spent the New Year holidays at a nearby Onsen. It is indeed old. The building is like a maze due to extensions, but the cards placed in the hallway were like Hansel and Gretel, and the elderly couple laughed, saying, "We just need to follow these." The highlight is the Onsen! As soon as you enter, you'll be moved by the wonderful Onsen, exclaiming, "This hot water!" There is no open-air bath or sauna, but it's truly a waste not to experience such a great Onsen. I regret not having visited before. It's only a 30-minute drive from my home, so I plan to use it for day trips from now on.

It was my first time back in Ube City in a very long while, and the town has completely changed, but I was truly moved that the Hotel was still there just as before. The building is understandably old, but in return, the staff’s kind service and the wide variety and abundance at breakfast were wonderful. (I was happy to see kawara soba again—it brought back memories.) I met my friend at the restaurant next door, and I was glad to receive a discount as a guest privilege. Thank you for taking care of me.

Most surprising of all was how delicious the meals were. After we were already full, they brought out dessert, and there was so much that we couldn’t believe it—very satisfying. Although the Facility is old, the food made everything OK. The lotus flowers next door were also in full bloom and very beautiful.

I suddenly had some free time, so I made a same-day morning Reservation. I arrived early to use the spa, and when I asked at the front desk, they told me my Room was already ready—lucky me. At luxury hotels, I usually expect service to be pleasantly understated, but here every staff member was truly kind. They approached me right away and offered suggestions beyond what I asked for—excellent hospitality. The Room was beautifully put together with great taste, and the bed was very comfortable. The spa was also wonderful. The executive lounge was quite crowded and there was a bit of a wait, but they could notify me by phone, and both the view and the food were great. Since it was that time of year, there were many families with children, so it felt a little noisy at times. However, there are time slots when children are not allowed in the pool or lounge, which gave me good options when I wanted to relax quietly. It turned into a fantastic staycation—I’d definitely like to come back again.
