This was my first stay since New Year's 2024. During my previous stay, I felt the room was quite small, so I came prepared this time, but I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t as small as I thought. Perhaps it’s due to the size of the window and the absence of a wall next to the bed. The design is compact, but it didn’t feel cramped at all. While suitcases can apparently fit under the bed, I chose not to store my bag there and instead used the coat rack near the entrance. There’s no closet, but six hangers were provided on the coat rack. After two years since my last visit, I noticed some changes in the breakfast menu and a significant increase in foreign guests—there were fewer Japanese guests this time. However, check-in was quieter compared to before; everyone waited patiently in line without making much noise. Conversations were kept low-key, and parents quickly addressed any noisy children. Even in the hallways, it was very quiet. With its convenient location and reasonably well-equipped amenities for this price range, everything exceeded expectations—completely satisfied! Thank you very much!

The bath water was silky-smooth, making it incredibly relaxing and wonderful.

This Hotel is set on spacious grounds in a quiet lakeside setting, perfect for relaxing at a leisurely pace. The view from the panoramic bath is outstanding. The meals are generous—so much so that you may not be able to finish everything. The only drawback was that BS channels were not available.

I felt this Accommodation could be rated very differently depending on the purpose of your trip and the Room you choose. I stayed because I was interested in their guest Room with a semi-open-air bath. The exterior looks dated, and the front desk area doesn’t feel like a typical Hotel, which made me a bit uneasy at first. But once I entered the Room, it was very clean and instantly lifted my mood. The Facility also felt relatively new and well maintained. And of course, it has an ocean view. The refrigerator includes a freezer compartment, and there’s also a microwave and a washing machine (with dryer). Amenities such as skincare items and cleansing products are all provided individually packaged. There were two bath towels set out plus one spare in the drawer—three per person in total, which was more than enough. (Though I’m not sure if this applies only to Rooms with a semi-open-air bath.) Most importantly, the semi-open-air bath was truly wonderful. You can see the ocean at a glance through the large window, and the tub is spacious enough for what feels like four people. The Onsen in the Room is not free-flowing, but it’s easy to adjust the temperature so you can soak as long as you like at your preferred heat. Because there’s a glass partition between it and the living area, you can even watch TV (with subtitles) while bathing. The staff were pleasant and kind—they quickly helped me exchange my indoor sandal size and delivered them to my Room. It was No Meals Included, but it’s close to both the station and Atami Ginza, making dining out and shopping very convenient. It’s different from an ordinary Hotel, but as a condominium-style stay with an in-room Onsen, it was excellent. I highly recommend the Grand View Room. I’d love to visit again.

I usually stay at a Hotel, but this time I chose a Ryokan with one natural hot spring source and stayed here. Everything was clean and well kept, the staff’s level of attentiveness felt just right, and the breakfast was delicious and very filling. The Room was also a Japanese-style room, so I could relax on my own at a leisurely pace—it was very comfortable. The Onsen felt wonderful too. Next time, I’d like to come back and stay with my family.

I don’t usually stay at small Ryokan, but given the area, I felt comfortable doing so. The property and rooms were well maintained and very pleasant. Above all, the service was excellent. We ran late for dinner, and after checkout they even delivered a forgotten item to the station… I’m truly sorry for the trouble… yet everyone was smiling—thank you very much. The meals were also carefully prepared and delicious. If I have the chance, I’d like to stay again. Since I only used the public bath outside, I’m rating the Onsen bath a 3. Sorry.

It was a one-night stay. The staff were kind and helpful. The Room was a smoking Room. Because it was heated tobacco, the smell bothered me a little. I thought it would be nice to have Rooms specifically for heated tobacco. However, overall it was good, and I would like to stay again.

Thank you for your kind assistance during my late-night check-in. I would love to visit again. Next time, I plan to arrive earlier and enjoy a more relaxing stay.

This was my first time visiting Fukui Prefecture, and I stayed at this Hotel. The Room was very spacious and comfortable (it was a bit disappointing that there wasn’t a toilet in the Room). The hand-rolled sushi for dinner was delicious—I couldn’t stop eating. Tojinbo was also nearby, which made getting around very convenient.

The service is excellent, and the hot spring water quality is wonderful—maybe even better than Saki-no-Yu. The Room is spacious and comfortable, and the Accommodation fee is unbelievably cheap! There are quite a few things you need to do yourself, but if you have time and think, “It’s tiring to just come for a quick swim and go home—maybe we’ll stay the night instead,” this place will be perfect for you. In times like these with the economy so bad, this might be the only place where you can feel like you’re traveling at such a low price. I’ll definitely come again!

We stayed here when visiting Huis Ten Bosch. We found this place while looking for a Room that could accommodate our family of five together. The price was reasonable, and it was convenient because everything we needed was provided. There are no dining options within walking distance, but if you have a car, there is a convenience store nearby, so it wasn’t an issue. I also visited an Onsen (day-use bathing at another Accommodation) about five minutes away by car. Although the check-in process is unmanned, the support center was very kind and helpful. We would like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

The service was excellent. When I was wiping dirt off my car window as I was leaving, the staff came over right away and cleaned it for me—with a smile! The meals were also delicious. The location is perfect for visiting multiple hot springs, so I highly recommend it.

We stayed with you last year and returned again this year, and despite the intense heat, it was wonderfully cool, allowing both our minds and bodies to truly relax. We plan to come back again next year with our two dogs. On the way here, we were also able to visit Kumano Kotai Shrine (Kumano Kōtaijingū), famous for its “long-life shrine for dogs,” where we prayed once again this year for our dogs’ knee health and overall well-being.

As the Hotel is located on the upper floors of the relatively new (2-year-old) Chunichi Building, it is connected to the station underground, so you can get around without getting wet. Since it’s a commercial building with several restaurants in the basement, we also recommend relaxing and spending time at the Hotel. There are department stores nearby as well, making it a convenient location for dining in a lively area and for sightseeing anywhere. The Room was spacious, and the bathtub was deep enough to relax. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

I have stayed here many times. The bathroom has a separate bathtub and washing area, so you can relax and enjoy a long soak. Many of the front desk staff are from Okinawa and are very kind. The breakfast is delicious, and this Hotel offers great value for the price. I highly recommend it.

I stayed here as it had just opened in January 2026. The Room was beautifully renovated, and the large smart TV lets you watch YouTube and Netflix (account required). The digital clock also functions as a Bluetooth speaker, so you can enjoy music as well. The Onsen was excellent, with both an indoor bath and an open-air bath. Amenities were well stocked. The meals offered a great variety of seafood, including all-you-can-eat salmon roe. There were even salt-grilled trout and sweetfish. Staff regularly checked the buffet and quickly refilled items when they ran out. Breakfast also included all-you-can-eat salmon roe—you can even choose to make a seafood rice bowl in the morning. It was a wonderful Accommodation with great value for money.

We stayed with a family of four and one dog. With this group, we often stay in whole-house rentals, but meals in those cases are usually simple, like hot pot or BBQ only. Here, we also enjoyed a great selection of appetizers. Dinner and breakfast were stocked in the refrigerator, so we could relax without worrying about anyone coming in, and our shy dog could unwind too. The building itself is old, but the Room was beautifully renovated, and the odor mentioned in the Review was not an issue for us. The staff were also kind. We had a wonderful stay.

They securely stored my suitcase early in the morning, and I checked in when I returned. The only downside was that there’s just one elevator (it might be best to allow extra time, especially when you’re in a hurry). When I went out and came back to my Room, the Skytree was sparkling right in front of me. After enjoying the view to my heart’s content, I used the bath-hopping pass to head over to Nono Annex and enjoyed the black Onsen. I also made sure to enjoy the late-night soba, and then had some ice cream available in front of the Onsen on the 10th floor of this Hotel… (there were four flavors, but two were sold out… it was disappointing that the one I really wanted was gone). While relaxing with it in my Room… I could hear the guest next door snoring—honestly funny. The walls must be thin. Bad luck with this Room. The next morning, I enjoyed the 10th-floor Onsen again and had some drinks as well, and I successfully caught the early-morning Spacia X departing from Tobu Asakusa Station. Since it was so early, I only glanced at what looked like a delicious breakfast… I chose this Accommodation solely because it’s close to Tobu Asakusa Station, and aside from bad luck with my Room, everything else was completely satisfying. Thank you very much. If I asked at reception, would they have given me earplugs? lol
