This Hotel offers outstanding staff service.

We booked this place because our trip was decided at the last minute and only one Room was available. It was incredibly affordable!! After making the Reservation, we read some Reviews and felt a bit uneasy… but once we actually stayed, it was great. When we arrived near the Hotel and were wondering if this was the parking lot, a staff member ran out from inside the Hotel to guide us—what a surprise!! Their response was so quick it made us wonder how they even noticed us. We were truly impressed. The triple Room was spacious, with a large TV and even a sofa—perfect. The breakfast buffet had just the right amount and we were satisfied. If there’s too much variety, you end up overthinking and overeating, so that balance was ideal. For anyone considering staying here, we highly recommend it.

It was great that we could walk to both Ginza and Tsukiji. The Room was clean, and there were plenty of restaurants near the Hotel, which was very convenient. We would definitely stay again.

I stayed here to propose this time. The staff were fully supportive and kindly helped with everything—thank you! It made for the perfect proposal. I’ll be back.

It’s a Business Hotel close to the station, with a large public bath, and the breakfast is delicious—overall, I think it’s very good. Maybe it was just by chance, but I was a bit surprised because the sound of doors closing—from the floor above or the neighboring Room—echoed loudly. Also, what may have been the sound of drawers was very loud as well. Since it didn’t continue, it didn’t bother me after that. I was able to rest well and had a comfortable stay. If I have another opportunity to visit Yanagawa, I’d like to stay here again.

The Room, breakfast, and bath were all clean, and we were satisfied. It’s a little distance from the sightseeing spots, but it’s within walking distance, so I think the location is good. I felt we chose a good Hotel at a reasonable price.

The meals were delicious (dinner and breakfast), and there was so much at dinner that we couldn’t finish it all. My wife seemed to love it too and said she’d like to come again. The service was excellent, and we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. Thank you very much.

I had stayed here back when it was a Kanpo no Yado, but I didn’t remember much, so this was essentially a new visit for me. It was great. There was an all-you-can-drink option in the lounge, the meals were satisfying, and the hot springs were excellent. The room, including the sink area and toilet, was clean and comfortable. There is no individual air conditioning in each room; the entire building uses a centralized system, which might be an issue for guests who are extremely sensitive to heat or cold. It wasn’t a problem for me.

Two years ago, I made a Reservation, but my father passed away and I had to Cancel the Reservation at short notice. It had been on my mind ever since, so this time I made another Reservation and stayed here. I truly enjoyed the best of the countryside! Honestly, it feels higher quality than many Hotels. The food was carefully prepared, with great flavor and texture in every dish, and the Room and bathroom were designed to be comfortable and easy for anyone to use. Above all, the hospitality is outstanding! If you want to experience the countryside, I highly recommend staying at Yamagataya!!

We stayed here with four generations of our family, including our elderly parents. The Room was spacious and very relaxing. Our grandchild loved the kids’ room and played to their heart’s content. The open-air bath in the sky had an amazing view and was wonderful. All the staff were kind, making it a great Accommodation. Thank you very much.

Both the international front desk and breakfast staff were extremely kind and helpful. Their service alone is worth it. Thank you very much.

Being able to enjoy a variety of alcoholic drinks during dinner was amazing! I was especially happy to have a Nagisa Beer server. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I also appreciated the free massage chair. There are many stairs to the large public bath, and even more to the panoramic open-air bath. It might be tough for elderly guests. However, the view and the hot spring water are wonderful, so I definitely recommend going.

Despite the inconvenience, you kindly provided Shuttle Service for one member of our family. Thank you as well for preparing such a wonderful Room for us. Both breakfast and dinner were carefully prepared and delicious. Thank you to the proprietress and all the staff for your kindness. We would love to stay again.

Probably the closest Hotel to Soga Station, with excellent access. As noted on the Hotel’s website, the public bath is quite small: in the men’s area there are three washing stations, and the tub is only just large enough for three people at a squeeze. Since it’s open all night, I had no issues with crowds when I went late at night. The after-bath treats and late-night soba were provided as usual, just like at other Dormy Inn properties. The guest room felt a bit dated around the unit-bath area, but the room with a mini-kitchen-like setup was surprisingly convenient. I was also impressed by how well the air conditioning cooled. It’s a little away from central Chiba City, but that means it’s in a quiet area. Since the Keiyo Line starts here, being able to get a seat all the way to Kaihin-Makuhari or Maihama is a big plus.

After our trip to Furano, we found this Hotel while looking for a place to stay on the way home. Because it’s in the mountains, we were a bit worried about the drive, but it wasn’t far from downtown Ashibetsu, so we arrived without any trouble. We expected an older Facility, but once inside it felt completely modern. Everything was spotless, and there were lots of features younger guests would enjoy. Detox water stations from various brands, a space filled with books, areas to relax and chat, a guest-only lounge, wall art, and exhibits about Yutani Onsen and local coal mine history—there was always something interesting to see. The owl artwork on the wall was especially cute; if there had been any related goods for sale, I would have bought them. After getting out of the bath area, I was disappointed that one spot had that owl covered by a notice—I really wanted to see it. Our Room had a classic Japanese style but was very clean. The tatami mats were fresh and green-blue and felt great. It seemed that the open-air bath and the pot bath used Onsen water. Unfortunately it rained at night, but soaking in the Onsen under cover while listening to the rain was truly relaxing. I feel like I’ve made a connection with Ashibetsu as well—I genuinely want to visit again. I’d definitely recommend this Accommodation to friends and acquaintances. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

As this is a No Meals Included plan, no meals are provided. The Onsen and bath are in a unit bathroom. The guest rooms are designed with no wasted space, minimizing dead space. Since it was summer in Sapporo, opening the window let in a pleasant breeze and was comfortable. The location is convenient and close to the downtown area, so you won’t have trouble finding places to eat or drink.

We stayed as a family and chose the loft-style room, and the area with the table was spacious, so we were able to spend our time comfortably. The location was also great, and we would like to stay again.

We arrived a little early and were able to relax with a welcome drink. Our room was on the 8th floor, and the ocean view was amazing—such a great feeling! Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and we were very satisfied. The highlight was breakfast: the build-your-own seafood bowl where you can add as much as you like. We were also happy to receive two bottles of wine and some snacks when we left. We’d love to come again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Because it was a three-day weekend right at the start of summer vacation, it ended up a little over our original budget—but we wanted to stay here so badly that we made the Reservation anyway. And once we actually stayed… it was worth every yen—no, even more than that. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The location was even better than expected: right in front of us were white sand and a blue sea. There were quite a few families and international guests, but at night it was very quiet. You can head straight to the beach from the Hotel, and everything was thoughtfully prepared—dedicated beach sandals, a washing machine, towels, and more. I also really appreciated that when you take off your slippers there, you can place them neatly into a shoe box labeled with your Room name—something I found especially reassuring as someone who’s a bit particular about cleanliness. The Room was truly spacious, spotless, and very functional. Everything felt refined from corner to corner—the washbasin, furnishings, wall colors, decorations—all beautifully coordinated and calming. A small detail, but the loungewear fabric was very soft and had buttons so it stayed in place comfortably. The semi-open-air bath in the guest room had excellent water quality and temperature. Being able to soak slowly while looking out at the ocean—with no insects flying around—was pure bliss. We enjoyed our in-room meals while chatting pleasantly with our attendant; everything was delicious. The simmered whole kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) was especially impressive—large and full of flavor—truly “this is Izu!” That said, personally I would have preferred beef as steak (even a small portion) rather than chilled shabu-shabu wrapped with vegetables. If many guests are older adults, it would be great if there were an option available even with an additional charge. Breakfast included many dishes as well—I ended up eating quite a lot first thing in the morning! Overall this Accommodation deserves high marks across the board; if I had to be strictly critical, dinner alone could have felt slightly more luxurious or surprising—something that makes you think “This is exceptional—I’ve never tasted anything like it.” Even so, it was such a wonderful Accommodation that I absolutely want to return again next year. Thank you very much.

The meals, hot springs, and open-air bath were all outstanding—this was a truly memorable ryokan experience. One suggestion for consideration is offering complimentary drinks during the stay, such as coffee. It would be appreciated to have free coffee available when there is some time before dinner after arrival, or after breakfast.
